Dear Supporter,
I hope this message finds you and your family in good health. My name is Eman Zaqout from Gaza. I am reaching you out to seek your urgent help in spreading the word about our fundraiser. I lost both my home and my job due to the ongoing genocide in Gaza and we are facing catastrophic living conditions. 💔
I kindly ask you to visit my campaign. Your support, whether through donating or sharing, will help us reach more people who can make a difference. Thank you for your continued support for the Palestinian cause. Your dedication brings us closer to freedom. 🙏🕊
Note: Verified by several people as 90-ghost and aces-and-angels. ☑
I am still not quite sure as to how I'm supposed to verify campaigns, but if somebody that follows me knows how to - please do reach out, as I would like to learn how to.
That being said, I am choosing to put my trust in this individual and I wanted to share their campaign, and I hope that those of you who have the means to donate - can go ahead and do so (but please make sure to verify yourself, you yourself are responsible for your money).
May your family know peace soon enough, and may you get the help you are seeking - whether that be to evacuate or to gather funds to purchase necessary supplies such as food. Nobody should have to go through the horrific circumstances that the people of Gaza are currently experiencing, and your suffering is close to my heart as a Bosniak woman whose people underwent an attempt of ethnic cleansing back in the 1990's. May your family know peace, and may your home remain your home 🩷

"People raised as communists can’t be racists"
Tamar Peleg-Sryck, 91, human-rights lawyer
When she was 60, an age when regular people start to shift into lower gear ahead of retirement, Tamar Peleg-Sryck, a graduate of night-school studies in law, left the teaching profession and started to clerk in the law firm of Avigdor Feldman, where she could focus on human rights. A tireless lawyer, she has helped thousands of Palestinian detainees, many of them children, who have been maltreated by the occupation authorities. She retired five years ago, after intensive work in both dusty military courts and the High Court of Justice.
Born in Poland, Pekeg-Sryck survived the Holocaust thanks to the Tehran Children rescue operation, which brought some 1,000 Jewish children to Iran in 1943, and from there on to Palestine. “I am a survivor thanks to the Soviet Union,” she says. “We were sent to Kazakhstan in 1940 and remained alive by a miracle.” Catching herself talking about miracles, she stops to correct herself: “Not by a miracle – with difficulty.”
Perhaps because of her life experience she also has something to say about the comparison that’s sometimes drawn between Stalin and Hitler: “People like to say that they were the same thing. But Hitler fulfilled his principles in his deeds, whereas Stalin betrayed part of his principles in some of his deeds.”
Peleg-Sryck, today a Tel Aviv resident, was born in 1926, less than a decade after the October Revolution. Like everyone who was interviewed for this article, she terms herself a communist, even if she doesn’t belong to Israel’s Communist Party (she left in 1965, when the party split in two, and she didn’t join either branch).
I asked her what it means to be a communist in 2017. “With the world turning bad, the choice of communism appears increasingly correct. Morally speaking, the basic principles of communism have proved themselves. For example, equality between all peoples, equal rights for every person, and the principle of ‘from each according to his ability, to each according his needs.’
“It’s not just economic equality. Each person should be allowed to be whatever he wants. What’s not allowed is discrimination, meaning to be a racist. I recently read Yuri Slezkine’s book ‘The Jewish Century.’ He offers marvelous data about the Jews in the communist revolution. It was actually a Jewish revolution; the percentage of Jews involved was astronomical.”
Peleg-Sryck finds a link between her life’s project to defend the human rights of the Palestinians, and the communist approach: “It was the embodiment of my communist principles. In the civil-rights movement, there is the left and there is something close to the right, even though people don’t like to hear that. For example, the Association for Civil Rights in Israel didn’t recognize until recently that there are also economic rights or workers’ rights. Nor do they take into consideration possible victims of freedom of expression. ACRI supported the march of the Kahanist right in Umm al-Fahm. I had a problem with that, but I wasn’t able to persuade them. The feeling in some human-rights organizations is that Jews are worth more. And a person who was raised in communism can’t be a racist.”
Do you see any prospect that the world will soon move toward communism?
“I’ve despaired of that. At the moment, there may be no prospect, but there is a need.”
"The Israeli left exploits Arab workers"
Albert “the Bulgarian” Salomon, 83, upholsterer
For many years, the upholstery shop owned by Albert “the Bulgarian” in central Tel Aviv served as a center for street dwellers, artists and people who wanted to talk in the morning and listen to him play the accordion. When he retired five years ago, he abandoned his kingdom (“That was a mistake”). While looking for people to interview, I remembered Albert because of the pictures that decorated his workshop – one of Karl Marx next to one of the Lubavitcher Rebbe. Finding him was easy, thanks to a Facebook page created for him by his grandchildren.
“Communism is Torah,” he explains to me. “It’s like the Bible. A person who’s read the Bible in a yeshiva might stop being religious, but deep within he doesn’t forget the heder. And he’ll want Kaddish said for him after he dies. It’s the same for a communist. The most beautiful period of my childhood, between 1944 and 1948, was when I was in the Young Communists in Bulgaria. They taught me the meaning of love of humanity, helping others and peace. When I came to Israel, I tried to become part of the Communist Youth Alliance, which was based in Jaffa and was full of Bulgarians.”
Salomon left the party and its youth movement at the beginning of the 1950s, though he remained a communist. The Korean War, which erupted in 1950, was a turning point in the history of young, socialist Israel. David Ben-Gurion chose to side with the United States and even plotted to send soldiers to fight in the war. A demonstration against that war on Allenby Street in Tel Aviv was met by police brutality.
“We marched with posters,” Albert recalls, “and we were beaten by mounted policemen. That broke me, and I left the movement. But the ideology remained. I am a communist idealist, not a functionary.”
Did you vote for the local communist parties?
“No, but in my heart I always felt like a communist. I have tattoos with communist symbols – Lenin and Che Guevara. I was a dreamy youth and I dreamed about them all the time. But I don’t like the left.”
A communist who doesn’t like the left?
“The left in Israel is hypocritical – a left that uses Arab workers and exploits them. The wealthy in Israel are in the left, you know. I am first of all an Israeli, then a communist. There’s no better place than Israel. [Max] Nordau said that every ideal that’s fulfilled ceases to be an ideal, and that’s true of communism, too. I prefer communism as an ideal. I believe that the sheen of capitalism will be revealed to be false and that the sparks of communism will flare up again. As Lenin said, the east will rise on our street. People will understand the reality. In Bulgaria, 30 years after perestroika, people miss communism. There was no luxury then, it’s true, but there was tranquility.”
"We preserved the principle of Jewish-Arab partnership"
Tamar Gozansky, 77, politician
When one talks about communism in Israel, it’s hard not to think of Tamar Gozansky, one of the most activist MKs in the country’s history. Long before social justice became fashionable, Gozansky sponsored social-justice legislation that also benefited many who didn’t vote for her party (Hadash).
She joined the Young Communists at the age of 14. For 17 years she edited the movement’s mouthpiece Zo Haderekh (This Is the Way). She retired from the party’s central committee five years ago, in order to pave the way for a younger leadership. Gozansky, who always placed action and ideas before politicians themselves, didn’t want her photo taken. As a result, we asked another interviewee, the artist Zoya Cherkassky, to paint her picture.
What does it mean to be a communist in 2017?
“Being a communist has nothing to do with a particular year. Communism is a worldview, an aspiration to make society more just, to remove wars from the agenda. To see every person as a whole world. To see human needs as no less important than the needs of society as a whole.”
Communist parties or people who espouse ideas close to communism are achieving leadership or near-leadership positions, such as the Syriza party in Greece or Jeremy Corbyn in Britain. But Hadash [one of the four component parties of the Joint List] continues to hover around four Knesset seats.
“The Communist Party established Hadash as a Jewish-Arab movement under very specific conditions, in 1977, on the eve of Likud’s ascent to power, when the Labor Party basically collapsed. From our point of view as communists, the decisive thing is not the size of the party but the degree to which we can build cooperative ventures. We will not succeed in fomenting deep political changes on our own. The precondition for a leftward turn is not the size of the party. First of all, the path has to be correct, that’s the decisive element. Do you know how many people told me, ‘We have no problem voting for you, but stop working with the Arabs’?”
That’s what prevented the party from growing?
“From the establishment of the Palestine Communist Party in 1919 to this day, we have worked under tough conditions. There were always the urgent political issues, the struggle against nationalism and coping with anti-communist persecution. The achievement is that in these complex circumstances we succeeded in preserving a Jewish-Arab partnership. When I look back, the history of the Communist Party in the Land of Israel is a source of pride.”
"Communism and feminism go well together"
Fathia Sageer, 62, teacher
The communist consciousness of Fathia Sageer, a retired teacher from the Galilee city of Shfaram and head of the Arab-Jewish, feminist Democratic Women’s Movement, dates back to when she was 19. “When I completed high school, I looked for a place to continue my studies and for funding. I got hooked on meetings of the veteran communists. I loved to hear them talk about the rights of the Palestinian people and the struggle for peace. Communism is hard to achieve in Israel’s political situation, but I try to apply its principles in my day-to-day life and to transmit them to the group of women who work with me and in my children’s education.”
Sageer grew up under the impact of her parents having left their native village of al-Damun, northeast of Haifa, in 1948. “My parents were moved to Tamra, three kilometers away. My father’s dream was to return home, to return to his land, but he died at the age of 44. After his death I was left with the dreams. I found what I needed in the Communist Party in Tamra and in the May Day demonstrations. Communism and feminism go well together. Communist theory doesn’t discriminate between women and men. I was in Moscow two years ago, and women were [still] crying because the communist regime had been destroyed. In the new regime, the main losers are women, children and old people who lost their rights.”
Looking back, how do you view the great crimes of communism?
“There were mistakes along the way, but also achievements. If only we could achieve a situation in which the wealth would be divided among the people, and there would not be only a small layer of very rich and all the others very poor.”
If Hadash in its various forms used to be the central party among the Arabs in Israel, today’s young people appear to prefer a different alternative.
“The Islamic stream caught those who lost hope. Many view religion as a place to escape to. When they can’t find answers to questions of poverty, they find religion to be a place in which they feel safe. I’m pleased to be on the side of communism and not in other places – of capitalism or fundamentalism.”
"Swinish capitalism has taken over the world"
Faten Ghattas, 57, a director of the Israel Cancer Association
Faten Ghattas, from the Galilee village of Rameh, was a philosophy student in Bulgaria from 1985 to 1990, in the waning period of the communist regime there. As a Marxist-oriented philosopher, he found few job offers in his field back in Israel, and switched to management. He is currently the director of activity of the Israel Cancer Association among the country’s Arab population.
“The capitalist model is fragile, it’s obvious that it can’t go on like this. Despite the false illusion of freedom and democracy, there is regression in every sphere in the West. We see democracy as it is in the United States, for example. Communism brought results even for those didn’t really believe in communism. Thanks to the revolution, the social-democratic model was created in northern Europe, as a counterweight to communism. Many people were happy at the fall of the Soviet Union, but afterward swinish capitalism took control of the whole world.”
Maybe it would be better to give up on social democracy and not try to achieve communism, which led also to such tragic results?
“It’s not that there is one formula. There are clearly a number of approaches, and it’s also clear that the road is long.”
What was it like living under a communist regime?
“It was very interesting, but there were many paradoxes. People lived excellently in Bulgaria under communism but dreamed of capitalism, on the assumption that it would produce a better life. From my visits in recent years, it looks as though they have only regressed in terms of the living standard.”
Can you give examples of mistakes made by communism?
“People should have been given more freedom, allowed to move toward a freer economy. Lenin himself, a few years after the revolution, decided to change direction and grant the farmers more freedom, and that was a greater change than he’d thought originally. The reality should have been grasped more quickly, and more flexibility allowed. Communism erred in not understanding that people need to live better now, and not in another hundred years. I also saw the transition from communism. People celebrated Christianity. It shouldn’t be a big deal to go to church; communism should have allowed them to do that.”
"Communism isn’t just Stalin"
Zoya Cherkassky-Nnadi, 40, artist
Zoya Cherkassky is a prominent artist, a member of the New Barbizon group of local female artists who were born in the Soviet Union. She herself was born in Kiev and immigrated to Israel at the age of 15. In contrast to many other immigrants from the former USSR who have a conniption fit when they see a red flag, Cherkassy, who now lives in Ramat Gan, considers herself a communist.
“In my childhood I really believed in communism,” she says. “Communism has become a term of ridicule and has lost its honor. When I arrived in Israel I was totally anti-communist – communism looked like the worst thing going. Many people from the Soviet Union who came to Israel felt that they had entered the Free World. But as in the [former] communist bloc, in Israel, too, young people who were born in the Soviet Union feel very disappointed in capitalism. They came to understand that it is not a liberal paradise with equal rights and equal opportunities. Our parents’ generation is under the illusion that they didn’t succeed because of personal failure, but the young generation sees the failings of the capitalist system, despite the anti-communist propaganda.”
Wasn’t the communist system also a failure – the millions killed by Stalin?
“There has never been a true communist state: namely, a society in which there is no money. It wasn’t fully realized, and it failed. Along with terrible things, there were truly good things. I do not admire Stalin. Communism isn’t just Stalin.”
What do you parents think about your love affair with communism?
“My father is an old Stalinist and is pleased with my views. My mother doesn’t care.”
A year ago, Cherkassy took part in a conference of Soviet artists in Prague. Communist-era art exercises a considerable influence on her work, she relates. “At the time of the Soviet Union’s collapse, we thought that Soviet art was shit, Soviet garbage, but many groups are now referencing the Soviet period in their painting. There are materials that you can work with and continue to develop. That art has been unjustly neglected.”
"The October Revolution was a great achievement for humanity"
Basil Hala’ila, 22, sociology student
Basil Hala’ila, who grew up in the Upper Galilee town of Majdal al-Krum, is about to complete a degree in sociology and political science at the University of Haifa. “As Marx said, philosophers want to interpret the world, and as a communist I aspire to change the world,” says Hala’ila, who has led campaigns to improve the conditions of the maintenance staff at the university.
What is your model for communism? The Soviet Union? Cuba?
“The October Revolution led by Lenin was a great achievement for humanity in terms of establishing a meta-national state and equality for the proletariat. But after Lenin’s death, Stalin took power and the project went awry. The internal suppression he introduced is contrary to the communist idea. Cuba was an interesting experiment. It put an end to the rule of the corrupt tyrant Batista. Despite the blockade and the sanctions on the part of the United States, they have one of the best health systems in the world, and free education. With all the positive aspects of life in Sweden and Norway, those countries live by the rules of the free market. Naturally, in a choice between a capitalist Israel or a welfare state, I would prefer a welfare state, but I aspire to more.”
Hala’ila’s father was head of Communist Youth in Majdal al-Krum in the 1970s. Of his childhood, the student relates now, “I was born into a leftist atmosphere. I absorbed a socialist atmosphere at home. But for quite a long period I was apolitical. I didn’t care much.” He became class-conscious at the age of 17, when he read “The Communist Manifesto.”
When you talk to your peers about class consciousness, they probably say that you’re badgering them with Marx.
“The existing social situation also affects apolitical young people. Issues such as rent, living standards and family relations preoccupy them. I am not speaking at a boring philosophical level. Marx’s ideas can be conveyed to everyone in the world. Communism is also expressed in my day-to-day behavior. In the aspiration to be a caring person who helps others. I will not place myself in the position of being an exploiter.”
How is that reflected in practice?
“I’m currently looking for employment, and it was suggested that I send my curriculum vitae to one of the financial firms that sell dreams and steal money. I declined to go there.”
"The 2011 protest movement made me aware of social issues"
Keshet Zamir, 18, waitress
Keshet Zamir, from Haifa, does volunteer work in the Socialist Struggle, a small left-wing movement. Her primary activity is in gender issues. Firebrand speeches she delivered in local SlutWalk events are available on YouTube. Her first activity after joining the movement, when she was 15, was organizing a protest against schools that didn’t allow girls to wear skimpy attire. “That wasn’t a protest against the teachers, but against a system that tells girls to be ashamed of their body and blames the victim. Like, if you wear skimpy clothes don’t be surprised if you’re harassed. In the case of boys, it’s not an issue. We wanted to advance sex and gender education for children of all ages.”
How did you come to join the Socialist Struggle movement?
“My mother is a member, too. And the protest movement of 2011 made me aware of social issues. I went with my parents to demonstrations. We think about university at an early age and understand what it means economically. What it means to find housing when the jobs that are available pay only minimum wage. The capitalist system has failed completely. So long as the system wants only to increase profits and no one thinks about pausing to shift to green energy, it’s not clear how humanity will survive. It’s hard to be a young person growing up in Israel, with rounds of war every two-three years. An alternative has to be found.”
Didn’t the word “communism” scare your friends in high school?
“No. It only challenged them. Communism also had amazing achievements. Russia was the first country to give an equal wage and equal work, and day-care centers, in order to liberate women from housework. Communism wasn’t only Stalinism and a dictatorial system that oppressed people.”
What are your plans for the future?
“I want to study classical singing at a music academy. Beyond that, my life choice is socialism. That will always be central in my life.”

Trump and Bolton Slam the Door on Mideast Peace
In the latest hammer blow to any hopes that negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians can be revived, the Donald Trump administration has announced it will shutter the de facto Palestinian embassy in the U.S.
In a speech criticizing the International Criminal Court, Trump’s national security adviser, John Bolton, said the Washington mission of the Palestine Liberation Organization will be closed because of Palestinian calls for the ICC to investigate Israel’s conduct in the occupied Palestinian territories.
This is the latest in a series of aggressive moves designed to foreclose all Palestinian options other than whatever might be in a forthcoming “peace proposal” to be presented by Donald Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser on Middle East affairs, Jared Kushner.
Kushner and his team have vowed think outside the box, and to come up with a new formula “based on realities.” In other words, they are ditching the existing framework for peace talks, which is based on the permanent status issues — borders, settlements, security, refugees and Jerusalem — that were mutually agreed back in 1993 and supposed to be resolved only through negotiations and not any unilateral action.
Through all the tensions and turmoil of the past 15 years, that framework somehow survived.
But soon after taking office, Trump signaled he was moving on, especially by refusing to reiterate the long-standing U.S. commitment to a two-state outcome. Instead, Trump has said he would accept any formula the two parties agree to, a position previously embraced only by Iran.
When Trump recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel last December and repeatedly insisted the issue is now “off the table,” the existing framework for talks disintegrated. Since then, the administration has waged a relentless war on both Palestinian interests and existing understandings in the negotiating process. Kushner has pressed to redefine almost all the Palestinian refugees out of existence and effectively remove that issue from the table as well.
The White House also cut all U.S. funding for the United Nations agency that delivers humanitarian assistance the 5 million Palestinian refugees, and seems determined to eliminate the organization entirely.
Most recently, the Trump administration has slashed and frozen U.S. funding for humanitarian and educational projects in the occupied West Bank and for Palestinian hospitals in occupied East Jerusalem.
Trump has reportedly said that the purpose of these cuts is to further pressure Palestinians to make a deal with Israel. “I told them, we’re not paying you until we make a deal. If we don’t make a deal, we’re not paying,” he told a group of Jewish leaders, according to Haaretz.
All this supposed pressure, though, is taking place in a diplomatic vacuum. When demanding Palestinians return to talks with Israel, the obvious retort is, “What talks?” It’s not just that the Trump administration has systematically dismantled the existing framework for negotiations; it hasn’t put anything else in its place.
The White House’s real purpose here isn’t to pressure the Palestinians to concede to any existing process or demands. Rather, it is to foreclose all their other plausible options — including international forums such as the ICC or the UN — before the administration rolls out a proposal that falls far short of the minimal Palestinian expectation of an independent state.
Indeed, Kushner has strongly signaled that Palestinians can primarily look forward to economic inducements and benefits rather than political freedom and national independence.
The administration acts as if Palestinians didn’t have domestic politics of their own, and can be coerced into total submission. But this relentless pressure isn’t going to make Palestinians more willing or able to accept outrageous demands from Kushner and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
To the contrary, it’s certain to render it politically impossible for Palestinian leaders to rejoin a U.S.-brokered process or make any concessions, at least during the Trump era. With a U.S. embassy in Jerusalem opened and the PLO mission in Washington closed, and all that this grim symmetry so bluntly signifies, such moves would be widely viewed as craven capitulation. Palestinian moderates will be undermined and even humiliated, and extremists on the left and right will be emboldened and empowered.
With each U.S. move, there is less chance that any Palestinians will be ready, willing or able to take a serious look at anything Kushner proposes and try to find in it something they can work with. And the administration is fast running out of anything left that it can inflict on, or take away from, the Palestinians to pressure them further, short of bombing Ramallah.
Bolton’s announcement isn’t just a nifty Rosh Hashanah gift for Netanyahu. It’s also a huge victory for a rogue’s gallery of bad actors.
One of the biggest winners in all of this is Hamas. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, who has based his whole term in office around achieving a negotiated agreement with Israel in a U.S.-led process, now looks like the biggest dupe in the Middle East.
Hamas’s leaders will be as incorrect as ever when they insist that Palestinians can achieve their rights only through armed struggle, but after the past year and a half of Trumpian diplomacy, such sophistry and radicalism is going to be a lot more appealing and much harder to refute.
Iran, too, will be utterly delighted to see the U.S.-led process finally crumbling, especially since it is Washington itself, supposedly to be the guarantor of the process, that is suddenly the gleeful executioner.
Another obvious big winner from Bolton’s announcement is everyone who has been indicted by the ICC, including Sudanese President Omar Bashir, and anyone who ever feared such an indictment.
During the presidential campaign, Trump vowed to be “neutral” between Israel and the Palestinians. And after the Jerusalem recognition and embassy move, he promised that it would be the Palestinians’ turn to “get something very good” from Washington. But all his administration has done is to shower Israel with carrots and flail the Palestinians with sticks.
This may be good politics within the Republican right wing. But it’s disastrous diplomacy.
Many critics of Washington have wanted to break the U.S. stranglehold on the peace process, which will someday have to resume. They can relax. Trump, Bolton and Kushner have done their work for them.
It’s hard to imagine how a future administration could repair all the damage that’s being done by the application of what Jeffrey Goldberg identified as Trump and Bolton’s “We’re America, bitch” attitude. Or by this White House’s disdain for international law and a rules-based order to the delicate and crucial work of peacemaking. It is even harder to imagine that the result of this diplomatic malpractice won’t be another explosion of Middle East violence.

Stand Up & Speak Out NOW!
Daymond Duck   Published on: April 11, 2021
On Apr. 5, 2021, the Harbingers Daily staff posted an interview that Dr. Franklin Graham did with Tony Perkins, Pres. of Family Research Council.
The interview was really about a bill in Arkansas to ban gender transition and puberty blockers for minors that Gov. Asa Hutchinson vetoed.
Graham said America is in a free fall of moral decline and he does not believe America will turn around, but he does believe the Church can help slow it down.
Graham urged pastors and Church members to stand up and speak out.
Graham said, “The worst thing that could happen is for the Lord Jesus Christ to come back and find us sitting on our hands and keeping our mouths shut.”
https://harbingersdaily.com/franklin-graham-urges-christians-to-have-the-guts-to-stand/
The following current events indicate the need to stand up and speak out now because it will soon be too late.
One, concerning world government: on Mar. 30, 2021, 24 world leaders published an open letter in major publications around the world calling upon all nations on earth to unite, end nationalism (sovereignty of nations), and prevent future pandemics.
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, head of the World Health Organization (WHO), said, “The aims were clear: To bring countries together, to dispel the temptations of isolationism and nationalism. And to address the challenges that could only be achieved together in the spirit of solidarity and cooperation – namely peace, prosperity, health, and security.” (“peace” and “security” means “peace and safety”)
The letter was not signed by the heads of Russia, China, and the U.S., but leaders in those nations spoke positively about the effort.
A minority of leaders said a treaty to unite the nations and end nationalism will lead to a world government.
Two, also concerning world government: globalists have long wanted global taxes to fund their world government.
On Apr. 5, 2021, Janet Yellen, U.S. Treasury Sec., said she is working with the G20 nations (the world’s 20 major economies) to establish minimum global corporate tax rates.
Three, concerning persecution and government control of people: on Apr. 2, 2021, the Jewish News Service (JNS) published an interesting article by Ben Cohen.
According to Cohen:
People are losing their freedom all over planet Earth.
In 2020, freedom declined in nations that contain almost 75% of the world’s population.
Mass arrests, incarceration (denying the right to buy and sell), forced vaccinations, social distancing, surveillance, and the deliberate spread of disinformation (deceit) have increased worldwide.
The greatest human-rights crisis on earth is the refusal of leaders to protect the freedoms of their people.
Cohen’s Jewish News Service article about current events sounds very much like the Book of Revelation’s description of the coming world government of Antichrist.
Four, the growing loss of freedom is bad enough, but there is more to it than that.
On April 4, 2021, [email protected] posted an excellent article by Tom Mullen.
Mullen notes that under the guise of “keeping us safe”:
We have been told that “We must start planning for a permanent pandemic” (permanent social distancing, permanent use of masks, etc.).
We must plan for permanent restrictions on air travel, the use of gasoline-powered vehicles, eating meat, and more.
We must swap our freedoms for things that don’t work (use more windmills, more electric cars, etc.).
Simply put, the coming world government will bring permanent restrictions on lives, make life harder, and society will never recover.
Five, concerning pandemics: on Mar. 30, 2021, it was reported that a survey of 77 scientists in 28 nations said Covid is mutating, and the current vaccines could be ineffective in 12 months or less.
Vaccinated citizens will soon need to be vaccinated with different vaccines.
It is the opinion of this writer that the different vaccines, “vaccine passports,” etc., will keep changing and ultimately lead to Bill Gate’s “Quantum Dot Tattoo,” which is the final step toward the Mark of the Beast.
But before it gets to that, the Church will be “caught up.”
Six, also concerning pandemics: on Apr. 1, 2021, there were reports of “Vaccine Breakthrough” cases (people getting infected with Covid more than 14 days after they have had both shots) in Florida, Minnesota and Washington.
When officials say the vaccines are 95% effective, that means the vaccines might be ineffective in 5% of the people, and that is showing up (a very small percent has even died).
Some fully vaccinated people are getting Covid, and researchers are trying to determine if they are getting the original Covid-19 strain or a mutation.
Officials are also trying to determine if the fully vaccinated people that get Covid can spread it to other people because some have family members that have become infected.
Seven, on Apr. 5, 2021, it was reported that the New York State Senate has passed Assembly Bill A416 that will, if signed by Gov. Cuomo, allow government officials to remove New York citizens from their home and incarcerate them in government facilities (a medical facility or other appropriate facility, camp, jail, etc.) for the safety of the overall public, and for as long as the government sees fit.
Cuomo is expected to sign the bill, and there is concern that this will spread to other states.
Eight, on April 4, 2021, [email protected] posted an excellent article by Jeff Crouere titled “Passports to Hell.”
As I understand Crouere’s article:
The Biden administration is developing “vaccine passports” (proof of vaccination).
Millions of U.S. citizens are reluctant to be vaccinated for Covid.
Opting out of a vaccination for health reasons, religious reasons, side effects, etc., may not be allowed.
“Vaccine passports” will create two classes of U.S. citizens (the vaccinated and unvaccinated).
The unvaccinated will not be allowed to work, buy and sell (food, medicine, utilities, etc.), attend sporting events, plays, etc.
Government officials will control everyone’s (your) life.
Crouere said, “These are not passports to health; they are passports straight to hell.”
This writer has seen several articles and watched several videos with doctors saying the substance that people are being vaccinated with is not a vaccine.
Some doctors say the substance contains nanochips that contain data that can be changed and updated.
Some doctors sincerely believe the vaccinations and “vaccine passports” are all about tracking and controlling everyone on earth (you).
Nine, concerning a falling away in the Church: on Mar. 30, 2021, it was reported that a recent Gallup survey found that only 49% (less than half) of U.S. citizens are members of a specific house of worship in the U.S.
Declining Church membership is a generational problem, not a Covid problem, because Church attendance is declining from generation to generation.
(Writer’s note: As a general rule, Church membership is declining, but some churches are reporting growth, and a common denominator seems to be pastors that are preaching on the prophetic Scriptures).
Ten, on Mar. 28, 2021, Dr. John McArthur told the congregation at Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, Cal. that nations can reach the point where it is too late to repent and avoid the judgment of God.
According to McArthur, the current generation of Americans is already under the judgment of God.
McArthur said, “When you see a nation deep in sexual sin, pervasively affirming of homosexuality, and the insanity of a reprobate mind, where they make laws to criminalize righteousness and to legalize gross evil, you know that nation is under judgment.”
He added that “it is not too late for the elect, but it is too late for the nation.”
Eleven, on Mar. 30, 2021, Bahrain appointed the nation’s first-ever ambassador to Israel.
Bahrain’s new ambassador said, “The sight of a Bahraini flag flying in Israel, as well as the Israeli flag flying in Bahrain, are visible symbols of a new era in the region, an era of peace and prosperity for all.”
This is a small step toward the “covenant with many” that starts the Tribulation Period, so it should be viewed as a very significant event.
Twelve, concerning persecution: five days before Easter Sunday, the World Health Organization’s regional office for Europe (WHO) published a set of voluntary guidelines for “responsible worship” during Easter.
In the opinion of this globalist group, “responsible worship” means continent-wide, downsized services and family gatherings on Easter Sunday.
This is the problem: An international organization headed by a godless former communist party member has created guidelines for so-called “responsible worship” that someday may be made mandatory.
Thirteen, former Pres. Trump placed sanctions on two International Criminal Court (ICC) officials for trying to illegally prosecute Israel for War Crimes over its dealings with the Palestinians.
On Apr. 2, 2021, Pres. Biden revoked Trump’s sanctions, demonstrating his support for world government, his anti-Israel bias, and further exposing the U.S. to the curse (Gen. 12:3).
Finally, if you want to go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.

47 Reasons Why I Fear Islam - (Reason 43)
-43-Since Islamic holy writings refer to Jews as apes who must all be killed before Judgment Day can occur, I think the following analogy is fair.  Fundamentalist Muslims are like barking sheepdogs that herd moderate Muslim sheep in the direction the radicals want.  Also, several Christian refugees from Iraq have mentioned to me in passing that Muslims in the Middle East treat their women like dogs. ++++------- http://www.washingtonpost.com/world/middle_east/egypt-frets-fumes-over-ethiopias-nile-plan/2013/06/12/d3ab3f4a-d1e1-11e2-9577-df9f1c3348f5_story.html?wprss&google_editors_picks=true Just when you thought things couldn't get any worse in Egypt: Ethiopia is building a dam which will cut off or drastically reduce Egypt’s water supply. ++++------- http://thelede.blogs.nytimes.com/2013/03/06/video-of-syrians-with-seized-u-n-vehicle-in-golan-heights/ An article about the kidnapping of twenty United Nations Peacekeepers in the Golan Heights by Syrian rebel fighters who denounce Assad as an agent of America working for the Jews. @hg47 says – The civil war in Syria is seen as a Big Lotto Paradise Party for mentally-ill Muslims or hard-core Muslims who have studied Islam carefully and who take its teachings seriously.  If this battle can be rationalized as a necessary jihad against Infidels, these men may get an opportunity to die for Islam where they pop straight to Paradise, avoiding the fearful uncertainty of Judgment Day before their unpredictable angry God. This is why these rebel fighters are calling Assad “an agent of Zionism and America.”  If they can rationalize the fighting in those terms, and just manage to off themselves during the fighting, “Paradise Here We Come!” This is also why the radical Islamist fighting groups are gaining ground as the most effective rebel fighters: their Muslim fighters are actually hoping for death, they are eager for death. This puppy may have started as a peaceful protest against Assad.  It has evolved into a ladder to Paradise. (Zionism is the Muslim word for Judaism when Jews don’t know their “proper place” as inferiors subject to Muslim dominance.  Muslims also have a term for the United States while we refuse Muslim domination: The Great Satan.) ++++------- A quote from Hasan al-Banna, a founder of the Muslim Brotherhood: “Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it.” ++++------- tweet ~ Muslims recite anti-Semitic & anti-Christian rhetoric at least 17 times a day, and over 5,000 times every year. ~ verify at: http://wikiislam.net/wiki/Muslim_Statistics ++++------- http://www.investors.com/NewsAndAnalysis/Article/568999/201104131804/How-Free-Israel-Prospers-As-Islam-Remains-In-Dark.htm Chuck Devore puts forth the stats on the Success of Israel and Judaism, compared to the Failure of the Muslim world and Islam. Here’s one interesting stat: The Arab and Iranian world produced about one patent per year for every 3 million people, compared with Israel’s output of one annual patent for every 5,295 people; 568 times that of Israel’s neighbors and sometime enemies. ++++------- http://www.haaretz.com/print-edition/opinion/radical-political-religion-will-soon-shape-the-mideast-1.340271 An article analyzing how radical Islam has won in Egypt, and is winning everywhere else in the Middle East also. @hg47 says – Demographically, Israel is doomed in this Century unless it evicts its own citizens who are Muslims, which it can’t do.  Or can it?  My hope is that the Jewish people in Israel will do what is necessary for Israel to survive, and if evicting enemies in their midst is part of the equation, so be it.  I approve.  And I understand. There is actually a precedent, should Israel choose to evict its Muslim citizens, and change the essential nature of its government. Saudi Arabia forcibly removed or killed all non-Muslims within their land, following what their leaders perceived as a command from their Prophet.  Naturally, the Saudis kept all the Infidels’ property and most of their women as slaves.  Now, Saudi Arabia is pristine.  Pure.  Jews and Christians may visit some parts of Saudi Arabia, but are restricted in what they may bring into the country, and how they may behave, and where they may go. The Israelis would probably be much more civilized about evicting the “civilian” enemy Muslims in their midst, those who would love to cut the throats of these powerful Jews. ++++------- tweet ~ Christian Solidarity International has liberated 80,000+ Sudanese slaves taken captive by Arab Muslims. ~ verify at: http://wikiislam.net/wiki/Muslim_Statistics ++++------- http://www.huffingtonpost.com/terry-kelhawk/wikileaks-expose-cracks-i_b_789615.html Terry Kelhawk on how Americans are mislead by Islam; we think the differences in Muslim sects are trivial, but these differences are central and worth killing over. ++++------- http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/law-and-order/7897125/White-Christian-Britons-being-unfairly-targeted-for-hate-crimes-by-CPS-Civitas-claims.html Christopher Hope argues that U.K. prosecutors and police are unfairly singling out alleged crimes by white Christians, while discounting other similar offences by minority groups. ++++------- http://www.hudson-ny.org/1610/sharia-advancing-in-west Salah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury suggests that due to the nature of Zakat (Muslim Charity which is really “A Solidarity,” or an “I support you,” type of thing), that Sharia banks must inevitably divert funds into organizations promoting jihad and supporting suicide bombing, including Hamas, Hezbollah, and worse (from the Western POV).  If these Sharia banking institutions do not secretly fund terrorism, they will not be following Sharia law. ++++------- A quote from J. ROSENBLUM: “On a Freedom House scale of freedom (on which seven is the least free) the median for Arab nations is 5.5. For the rest of the world it is 2.5. Whether it is child brides in Gaza, institutionalized selection of dancing pre-pubescent boys as mistresses by older males in Afghanistan or widespread clitoridectomy in much of the Muslim world, the media take a pass.” ++++------- A quote from Ahmad Ibrahim, a founder of Hamas, talking about Jews: “Six million descendants of monkeys now rule in all the nations of the world, but their day, too, will come. Allah! Kill them all, do not leave even one!” ++++------- http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/7392235.stm Inside a Palestinian refugee camp @hg47 says - These interviews explain why there will never be peace in the Middle East—Palestinians are almost exclusively focused upon the destruction of Israel, and recovering lost Islamic territory, at the expense of their own lives and the lives of their families. There is a famous saying: If the Jewish people in Israel put down their weapons, within one week there would be no more Israel.  If the Palestinian Muslims put down their weapons, there would be a prosperous State for them and their families within one year. (I used to believe this, but no longer: I now think the Palestinians have too much hate within them to ever be prosperous, no matter what; IMHO their hate has become their reason for being.  They would be lost without their hate, and would have to find someone or something else to hate.) The Arabs are fighting a holy war: the quality of their own lives is irrelevant compared to defeating Israel. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +Go-To-44+ +Go-To-Beginning-Of-47-REASONS-WHY-I-FEAR-ISLAM+

Genocide claims in Nagorno-Karabakh make peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan unlikely, despite cease-fire
Troopers patrol the mountainous, disputed border between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh, on Nov. 8. Stanislav KrasilnikovTASS through Getty Photographs
A Russian-brokered cease-fire between Armenia and Azerbaijan this week halted combating over the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh territory, the place long-standing hostilities reerupted on Sept. 27.
The deal leaves Azerbaijan, which was given Nagorno-Karabakh by the Soviets in 1923, largely answerable for the majority-Armenian territory. Leaders in Nagorno-Karabakh, positioned in Western Azerbaijan near Armenia, proceed to demand independence.
1000’s have died and an estimated 100,000 have been displaced in Nagorno-Karabakh since September. Because the cease-fire took impact on Nov. 10, Azerbaijanis danced within the streets. However offended Armenians stormed the Armenian parliament and workplace of the prime minister.
Either side within the battle have claimed that combating in Nagorno-Karabakh isn’t nearly territorial management – it’s a struggle to stop genocide, a struggle for his or her lives. These grave accusations, whereas but unproven, could make an enduring decision to the battle a lot tougher.
Freedom combating and genocide claims
Violence first broke out in Nagorno-Karabakh within the 1980s, when the area’s ethnic Armenian leaders sought to realize independence from Azerbaijan. There was intermittent combating since then, together with a bloody conflict within the 1990s that led to one other Russia-brokered cease-fire giving Azerbaijan authorized management of the area.
However Armenian leaders in Nagorno-Karabakh declared themselves an impartial republic, and have repeatedly tried to secede.
In my analysis on self-determination, I discover that genocide is commonly invoked by secessionist areas as a last-ditch effort to safe outdoors intervention of their battle.
The United Nations defines genocide because the destruction or partial destruction of a “nationwide, ethnical, racial or non secular group.” It’s a conflict crime beneath worldwide regulation, and nations are presupposed to “forestall and punish” it beneath a 1948 U.N. settlement.
Secessionist leaders typically attempt to rally overseas powers round their trigger with arguments based mostly on geopolitical technique, financial self-interest, non secular bonds or shared ideology. These causes broadly clarify why Iran helps the Iraqi Kurds of their quest for larger autonomy, and why the Arab states again the Palestinians’ efforts at statehood.
However when all else fails, freedom fighters will spotlight their very own repression within the starkest of phrases to realize worldwide help. In conflict a world marketing campaign for victimhood is the weapon of the weaker facet – and genocide claims are probably the most highly effective weapon on this arsenal.
Based on my analysis, greater than two-thirds of members within the Unrepresented Nations and Peoples Group, a nongovernmental group composed of autonomy-minded minority teams just like the Kurds, have alleged genocide.
Genocide makes peace arduous
Genocide could also be, as one scholar places it, the “embodiment of radical evil,” however as a conflict crime it’s extremely troublesome to show.
Beneath worldwide regulation, accusers should present perpetrators acted with the “intent to destroy, in complete or partly,” specified teams. Demonstrating intent is a tall order.
Armenia is aware of this in addition to any nation. The 1915 Armenian genocide by Turkey is acknowledged by fewer than three dozen nations. When it comes to each regulation and politics, declaring a lethal army marketing campaign to be genocide – versus simply the atrocities of a bloody battle – is difficult certainly.
Tumblr media

Genocide allegations, however, are extra simply come by. However in keeping with my analysis they don’t bode effectively for peace.
Genocide claims flip “the opposite facet” into an enemy bent on the destruction of a complete individuals. As soon as the general public sees a battle in these phrases, historical past exhibits, leaders understandably balk on the prospect of sitting down on the negotiating desk with that enemy.
Genocide claims additionally scale back the probability of efficient outdoors mediation by winnowing away the pool of “sincere brokers” – that’s, goal intermediaries. Opposing events can and do reject would-be peacekeepers based mostly on their acknowledgment of – or refusal to acknowledge – genocide accusations, my analysis finds.
In archived protection of the South Ossetian area of Georgia, for instance, native leaders within the 2000s insisted varied European and American troops couldn’t function peacekeepers since they’d not defended Ossetians from an alleged 1992 genocide.
Nagorno-Karabakh and genocide
Genocide claims within the Georgia circumstances did ultimately result in worldwide intervention and separation from Georgia, however not by means of peaceable negotiations. As a substitute, South Ossetia, like one other breakaway Georgian state referred to as Abkhazia, gained de facto independence after a brutal Russian army assault on Georgia in 2008.
This mirrored what occurred in Kosovo almost a decade earlier when Serbian atrocities prompted Western intervention. Western powers acknowledged Kosovo’s independence in 2008, however Serbia continues to contest Kosovo’s separation.
Within the case of Nagorno-Karabakh, genocide claims on each side are nothing new. In archival analysis I discovered media experiences exhibiting that Armenian leaders have repeatedly reminded overseas powers of the 1915 Armenian genocide when urgent for out of doors intervention of their battle with Azerbaijan.
Tumblr media
Azerbaijanis rejoice the top of the army battle over Nagorno-Karabakh on Tuesday. Gavriil GrigorovTASS through Getty Photographs
Azerbaijanis, for his or her half, retort it’s their residents who ought to worry genocide. Throughout a 1992 Armenian army marketing campaign in Nagorno-Karabakh, Armenians dedicated what’s now referred to as the Khojaly bloodbath, when no less than 613 civilians had been reportedly killed. As newspapers from the period reveal, Azerbaijani leaders declared then that with out worldwide intervention, Armenians would end the job.
[Deep knowledge, daily. Sign up for The Conversation’s newsletter.]
It’s not possible to find out whether or not genocide has actually occurred in Nagorno-Karabakh with out in-depth investigations. However the accusations alone could overpower any truce. And as Armenians’ offended response to the current cease-fire demonstrates, peace between the 2 nations is fragile at greatest.

MY CONVERSATION WITH AN ORTHODOX JEW
As I walked through the main center atrium at UVA Hospital I saw an elderly Orthodox Jewish man sitting at a table by himself with a book open and headphones plugged into his ears. I walked a few feet, reluctant to approach before i called upon myself to turn around and find a way to talk to this man.  I sat there at first awaiting for him to sense my presence thereby looking up at me to make eye-contact. He didn't do that for the first 5 minutes, so I sat patiently, just relaxing a bit. As it turned out, he was on the phone hearing another(s) on the other end speaking to him, following in the book. He looked up to me, I nodded with a smile, he reciprocated, and then about 3 minutes later he said bye to those on the phone-line. I approached and asked him if I could conversate with him for a moment. He said, yes, “but only for a moment as I have to go back up to see my son in the hospital room.” So i went and joined him at his table, and began with the rhetorical affirmation: "so you're Orthodox Jewish correct?"  "yes”.. And then I asked him if he had ever been to Israel before? And he said yes, he was there a couple of months back. And then i asked him what his thoughts were on the Israel-Palestine conflict. He said, various people have various perspectives on the issue. He began describing how there are liberal orthodox Jews and conservative orthodox Jews, and that the Messiah will land in Israel. I interjected and said, but first the state of Israel must be established, and he agreed. He then went on to say how Christians and Jews have a lot in common in their beliefs. He spoke about there being Jews for Zionism, and Jews for a state of Israel “but they're not Zionists”. I asked him, “but isn't the essence of Zionism the establishment of a state of Israel?” And he concurred, yet said not all Jews consider themselves Zionists who may still agree/support a state of Israel existing. He spoke on how certain sects supported Donald Trump based upon their religious values. He thought I was Christian. I told him i am actually an American Muslim born to Palestinian immigrant parents. He then went on to say how Palestinians, many of whom are employed by Israel, enjoy much freedom, prosperity, and peace in Jerusalem, a city where Muslims and Christians and Jews live well together. He noted how in fact many Palestinians are at peace living and working with Jews in Jerusalem and Israel. I noted to him that in fact there is a lack of relations between Jews and Palestinians in the West Bank and in the Gaza Strip. He noted that in the Gaza Strip, “the government there, which only constitutes about less than 1% of the Palestinians, is Hamas”, and as a result tensions and frictions rise. <<<I invite all to read Khaled Hroub’s “Hamas: A Beginner's Guide”. This work was written in the perspective of what Hamas is: a political and armed group of refugees resisting a most brutal and illegal occupation. It is designed to provide an understanding of Hamas's identity, their origins and their aims. It is also not without its criticisms.>>>  Soon thereafter we got up from the table and began walking toward the elevators some 40 yards away. He also stated that, "but the media shows a different story, that Palestinians don't like Jews at all." I wanted to ask him why he thought the media does this, especially if the media is in favor of the Zionist agenda. I would have loved to hear his genuine opinion on that point, however the topic of conversation moved right along. He asked me what the population of Charlottesville was, and I told him about 40 thousand, maybe now 50 thousand, and he thought it was 90+ thousand; I wasn't sure so i concurred saying perhaps it's grown very fast over the past few years. He noted there not being many Jews in the area; and for Muslims, I noted there is a mosque down the road and that quite a few refugees have landed in Charlottesville the past few years.
My take from the dialogue was that this elder was pro-Israel establishment. And that many Palestinians, as he stated, are also OK with having Israel existing in “Palestine”, except for the Hamas government. Another question I wanted his opinion on was the lack of relations between Palestinians and Israeli's, between those in the West Bank and Gaza Strip with the rest of the Israel populace. For security reasons Israel establishes pre-cautions against those in Gaza Strip (governed by Hamas ideology) from having access to Israel and Israeli’s - a state which is now established and has first-world programs in the sciences, technology, and other fields while Gaza Strip remains in the stone ages whilst under the constriction of occupation and an anti-Israeli ideology founded upon by Hamas.
Interestingly enough, the Jews have come and established a system for the Palestinians to work in, all the while profiting upon the infrastructure they have set up (as well as enjoining upon the land they have taken for their own sovereignty). They are like owners who preside authority and also work, and have others work under them, under their system of workings; the Jews are intelligent in that they organize and establish and create foundation in a place that benefits them first, and then the other may benefit if they buy into the system and "play their position" therein, with the opportunity to rise (if so cautiously aware as to not "bite the hand that feeds"). This is just like in America, as it reminds me of Obama’s rise to power as an inherent ‘other’ - and hence “the First” of the demographic he “represented”.  Obama established himself via Harvard accreditation. His volunteering in the streets benefited him two-fold: it helped him develop as a social leader and thus as a political character, and it gave him respect/accreditation by his own black people via his grassroots reputation. For many politicians this has come through the form of serving in the Military, for Obama it came through the form of closely establishing himself with the disenfranchised part of the city of the Chicago. The system is established based upon interests. Interests with sovereign influence. The benefit of the one is to play the game, for then the whole may find a way to prosper, and once integrated, may establish a means of locomotion. The Jews however, will maintain sovereign authority in a way that somehow-someway undermines Palestinians - an establishment blacks have found themselves entangled within here in America.

Will Palestinians turn against Palestinians in a way similar as to what has happened to the black and urban communities in America, particularly during the Reaganomics and crack epidemic era; an impact that is present to this day?

Palestinians may very well have a greater chance of survival in Israel than what the blacks and other minority groups have been dealt here in America. By sheer geographical factors such as colloquial "Palestine" being such a small piece of land; you will not see homelessness, for it will not be in the benefit of the Jews ruling in Israel to create a place in their home-state of homelessness for the Palestinian "other".. If so, they know what Palestinians are even capable of; and that is the reminiscent reminder that their land was stolen and taken, thus making a Palestinian that much quicker counter the unjust system with an uprising spirit. Thus it is in the interest of Israel to ensure peace abides and prosperity encompasses for the greater good of the populace, by ensuring some sort of position to be played by each person, whether a second class Palestinian citizen, or a “first class” Zionist-Jew citizen. Whence the Palestinians integrate themselves therein (away from a "wipe Israel of the map" perspective), they will have abilities and opportunities. I think we may very well see Israel begin to make friends with Palestinians in places where settlements will begin to be built, perhaps by sheer default of Jews and Palestinians working together in close concerted quarters - this in itself establishes a sense of human brotherhood/sisterhood among the populace.
Who causes the division of the Palestinians in west bank and those in Gaza Strip, from not being in relations with the Jews in Israel? Perhaps it is both the Palestinian’s old-way of thought, and the Jews’ abiding preservation of self ofttimes executed through practices of apartheid. For in my mind, when this is solved, hatred and fear done by ignorance will subside...

Trump Envoy Slams UN Security Council Ahead of ‘Deal of the Century’ Release
Earlier this week, TruNews reported on a leaked version of the Trump administration’s “Deal of the Century” Middle East peace plan, and now it seems the document may have been the real deal. During an informal meeting of the UN Security Council, known as an Arria-Formula, Palestinian Authority Foreign Minister Riyad Maliki brought up the document, calling it a “document of surrender.” He said: “We cannot afford not to engage with any peace efforts. But the US administration efforts cannot be characterized, nor can qualify as peace efforts. All indicates this far, that this is not a peace plan, but rather conditions for surrender. There is no amount of money that can make it acceptable. “We would have been more hopeful had they not been deaf to our appeals, blind to Israeli violations and mute at best on the fundamentals of peace when not actively undermining them … “It is not possible to have faith in such efforts. Every decision the US has taken since has simply confirmed the US disregard for Palestinians lives and Palestinian right and for international consensus and for the law. Our people have not struggled for so long and endured so much to simply change the color and the size of their chains. They want freedom, not conditional liberty, they want sovereignty, not limited autonomy." The foreign minister also admitted the U.S. has been reaching out to his government in an attempt to re-establish diplomatic relations ahead of the peace plan’s release. But, he said Washington “will not find a single Palestinian to accept” the deal if it does not provide for a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital. But the president’s envoy for international negotiations, Ambassador Jason Greenblatt, slammed the Security Council for harboring a bias against Israel. He said: “It is baffling and disappointing to see the obvious, continual anti-Israel bias here. Here we are in an Arria session to condemn Israel, in the same halls where just a few months ago, Member States failed to condemn Hamas, a known terrorist organization that just a few days ago fired close to 700 rockets at Israel – including at hospitals and schools. “Hamas’ stated goal is the destruction of Israel – plain and simple. And let’s not forget its partner in violence – the Palestinian Islamic Jihad. “These terrorist groups intentionally fire missiles and mortars from densely populated civilian neighborhoods in Gaza to target Israelis and Israeli communities, and siphon the little resources of the people of Gaza to build their terror arsenal while preventing donor aid from reaching the people. “Time and again they put their own interest ahead of their own people. Yet here at the UN in December, the majority of members chose to defend Hamas rather than condemn them.” Greenblatt went on to say Hamas and Islamic Jihad were “the problem” in the Middle East. He said, however, that the “Deal of the Century” will provide a “fresh perspective” on the conflict: “The vision for peace that we will soon put forward will be realistic and implementable, but it will require compromises from both sides. Our team has attempted to look at these issues with a fresh perspective. We have recognized the current reality, but also what remains possible. “It is a serious effort to lay out the core issues of the conflict in enough detail that everyone will be able to imagine what peace could look like. This is the right package of compromises for both sides to take in order to leave the past behind and try to start a new chapter where there can be tremendous hope and opportunity in the region. “It seems it would be in the best interest of everyone in the room to support the parties to get together and to get behind this opportunity. “If there is going to be any deal, the parties themselves have to make it and we do no favors for anybody pretending otherwise. We genuinely hope both the Israelis and Palestinians will take a real look at our vision for peace when we release it, before any unilateral steps are taken.” Greenblatt said the White House will release its peace plan soon. In the meantime, he promised, the U.S. delegation to the UN will continue to “speak the truth, even when it is not welcome.” (Photo Credit: U.S. Mission to the UN) source https://trunews.com/stream/trump-envoy-slams-un-security-council-ahead-of-deal-of-the-century-release

my face when someone asks for my food. #joeydoesntsharefood on a more serious note, my dad got me this scarf when he went umrah (the “small” pilgrimage made by muslims to mecca—the “big” one would be hajj) last year with my mom and gave it to me when i went back home earlier this year. it’s called keffiyeh or kufiya, a traditional palestinian scarf. though it originated from palestine, nowadays most are manufactured from china—driving palestinians out of the business sadly. so if you’re interested in getting one, i would recommend getting it from the website hirbawi.ps—the palestinian manufacturer, hirbawi. this one that my father bought for me is not made by hirbawi unfortunately (it’s made in india) but i’m definitely getting my next one from them. i was a bit hesitant to wear this scarf at first, like a should i or should i not situation, because i don’t want to commit a cultural appropriation crime. but i decided to just go for it because i want to appreciate what this scarf signifies: that it’s a gift from my father and that there’s a story of cultural and political representation behind it. may the people of palestine soon find the peace and freedom they rightfully deserve. 🙏🏻 (at Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia)
