I have four additional (lower effort) doodles for the concept done cuz god DAMN did yall go nuts over the last post and while im slightly overwhelmed by the attention i am VERY appreciative of it

ANYWAY, TO THE DOODLES & CONCEPT RAMBLES

Firstly, i've decided that the Cosmo player will be able to move, but with a VERY limited range - a similar model to Razzle & Dazzle's vines but with thorns and maybe single thick vines rather than several smaller ones? That would act as how far Cosmo can go, and the place for other players to avoid or else they'll be damaged by Sprout

I also had the thought of maybe, Sprout could heal the Cosmo he takes? But only when he attacks one of the other players - so like a reverse of Cosmo's usual mechanic! One heart healed per player hit, maxing out at 2 hearts since the Cosmo can't get damaged while in Sprout's circle

Speaking of his heals - He wouldn't be able to do so! Even if he's able to reach a player without leaving the circle nor the other person getting damaged, he'll be stopped from using it since healing people damages him

And finally - The cosmo can try to leave, technically. But will be stopped each time up to a point. Eventually, though.. Sprout will become agitated. Why is his friend trying to leave? Why is he abandoning him like this? So, after enough attempts, he'll let him go... but he'll go on a rampage trying to kill everyone in sight. It is INCREDIBLY difficult to outrun him, and he has a very high attention span too. He's P I S S E D.

It is not advised for the Cosmo to try to leave Sprout

There might be a part 3 to this at some point, i dunno yet but we'll see!

“It’s L-E-S, love.” He points to the piece of paper peppered with doodles. “Go ahead for me.”

The sun is high and sweltering, with noontime March heat, but still Charles is undeterred in his quest to get your daughter to spell his name properly. The evening prior, you’d presented him with a welcome home card signed by her, and addressed to Daddy Charlse—cue the Leclerc dramatics.

He’d pressed about a thousand kisses to her tiny face, thanking her over and over and keeping the card in his bag so they could cook dinner together. But once the pasta was finished and the toothbrush jingle was sang (twice) and he’d stowed her off to bed (three storybooks later), he padded over to your bed and sighed lowly, stopping just shy of the foot of it. Already you’d sensed his incoming anxious complaint.

It comes. “So. Charl-s-e.” 

“She’s four, honey.” You’d shut your book softly, smiling. “She spells her grandmum’s name as Packal.”

“It’s because I’m always out for work, isn’t it?” He climbed into bed beside you, perching his chin on your stomach. “And this is also because Max keeps insisting he babysit, sweetie. I swear, he’s brainwashing my baby girl.”

You laughed; the vibration extended into him and he smiled fondly at your reaction. “Charles, it’s nothing. They’re working on spelling at school, you know—she’s got a few words she gets wrong sometimes, the same ones. But she’s learning.”

“Charl-s-e,” he’d repeated sullenly. “Charl-seh.”

“If it matters that much, why don’t you try teaching her tomorrow?” You swept your hand through his hair, mouth in a half-smile. “Make an afternoon of it.”

He’d taken your advice very seriously—woken up a bit earlier, cooked them both pancakes (and you French toast, as always) and led her into the yard for some daddy-daughter time. “If you’re thirsty, I made lemonade,” you sing-song from the patio door. “You two’ve been at it for a bit.”

There are scrapped pieces of paper with his name misspelled on most of them—there is the occasional success, though you’re guessing Charles wants just one more—and drawings of your family all over them. You already sense the influx of pictures Charles has on his phone, of these drawings and cards he always posts on his Instagram or sends to you.

At your announcement, Julia looks up, green eyes piqued with interest, grip on the red crayon loosening. But her father’s faster, gently coaxing her back into the mini lawn chair that sits on the yard. She nods along his careful instructions, writing slowly, sun filtering through her light brown hair.

You get short moments of reprieve like this during the season. It’s rare for Charles to visit if he’s in the thick of it—most of the time you travel to a different city to see him, Julia going from your hip to his arms in seconds once he spots the two of you. But this moment is irreplaceable: the sunrays on the grass, the lemonade waiting to be drank, the pieces of paper with Mommy and Papa, bunchfuls of grapes on the patio table. 

He tries again. “Come on, love. C-H-A…” 

She bounds into the kitchen five minutes clutching a final paper, which she shows you with a sun-tinged face of pride. CHARLSE, it reads still. You pour her a glass, wait for Charles to finish packing up the rest of the art materials Julia was too excited to do herself; he comes in a bit sweaty from the sun asking to see the card.

You hand him a glass and press a kiss to his cheek. “Still S-E,” you say, both of you reading over the various scribbles.

“I don’t care.” He pauses. “You see this?” He points to the lower part of the page. 

Best Daddy Ever is written on it in wild vivid colors. You beam, love bubbling up in your chest overwhelmingly. He takes it from you and tacks it onto on the fridge, smiling. “She wrote that. I couldn’t have asked for a better card.”

Happy birthday to me!!

Well, happy EARLY birthday! I’m turning 16 on the 13th of November, and to celebrate that, I’m doing a DTIYS!!!!!! Yuubeni is just perpetually 17 lol. This is my first time doing something like this so… 🥲

I just want to say, I’m super grateful to all the amazing people in the twst community and Tumblr who have made my short time here so amazing since the start! I’m forever indebted to yall for being so kind and welcoming. I’m so happy I can celebrate my birthday this year with you guys!!!!!!!!! Love yall <33

🦋: I got a mysterious text to, quote, “wear something nice and come over to the botanical gardens” it totally freaked me out, the contact wasn’t even named.

🦋: I’m glad I bought this dress a while ago. I saw it while I was off campus one time and HAD to buy it. It was pretty expensive though, and I did have to buy some cheaper dinners to be able to feed Grim, though. Heh, consequences…

🦋: I screamed way too loud when everyone surprised me. I think I startled a lot of people... I could see Idia’s soul practically jump out of his body!

🦋: You know, I don’t really like birthday parties. I don’t like all the attention being on me, it gets me all stressed out. I always dreaded birthdays back in my own world but, here… I guess it’s not so bad with all my friends.

Now for info!

So, you all know the gist of a DTIYS. As long as you keep the outfit Yuubeni’s in, and the setting (the NRC botanical gardens), you can go crazy with poses, camera angles, throw in canon or oc characters if you like! You can send birthday wishes or oc interactions, fics if you want, whatever media, but only your main DTIYS art piece will count.

There will be three winners, first place will get a fully colored piece, second place a shaded single color sketch, and third just a silly unshaded doodle. My art is available everywhere on my page if you want to take a look. All three winners are two characters max. I’ll do oc + canon, canon + canon, and oc + oc (ships included) as long as it’s all twst related.

Entries will be open from November 1st to November 16th, so you’ve got a while! After that, I’ll be working on the pieces, but my schedule isn’t rigid.

RULES.

NO NSFW. Both me and Yuubeni are minors.

No suggestive content, no weird remarks. Yuubeni’s personality and looks are based off of me, and I really would prefer if no one made any weird comments.

“Uncle Billy?”

“Yes, my love?” Billy looked up from painting Roscoe’s toenails a shade called Pink-a-Doodle to see her staring at his face. He forced a smile, pretty sure what the question was gonna be.

“How did you hurt your face?” Roscoe asked, concern etched on her precious face.

Billy sighed then steeled himself when he heard footsteps entering the kitchen behind him.

“Yes, Billy, how did you end up with a black eye? Me and Roscoe would love to know.”

“Maxine…” he bit out, gritting his teeth.

“William. Please, explain to us how it happened.” Max leaned on her elbows on the breakfast bar, grinning at Billy like she didn’t already fucking have an idea.

“I was in the shower washing my hair, and got some shampoo in my eye then I slipped and banged my face on the wall. I thought I’d broken my nose, but I didn’t,” Billy says to Roscoe who puts her little hand on his arm.

“I’m glad you’re okay, Uncle Billy.”

“Thank you, princess.” Billy checked all her toes before closing the bottle of nail polish. “All done. Let it dry while I go talk to your mum, okay?”

“Yep,” the little girl replied, grabbing the remote and putting Bluey on.

Billy kissed her forehead before joining Max in the kitchen.

“Nice save, there,” Max said, handing him a cold beer.

“No thanks to you, shitbird.” Billy took a sip of the blessedly cool beverage, grateful Max had the AC going.

“So what really happened?” Max asked, leaning back against the counter.

“I thought you didn’t want any details of my, and I quote, sexcapades with Steve…”

Max made a face. “Ew, you’re right, I don’t.”

Billy cackled and grabbed a packet of chips before going back to the lounge to cuddle with his niece while they watched her favorite show.

The night before…

“Oh fuck, Billy,” Steve groaned, his fingers tightening on Billy’s hips.

“Mmmmm… Stevie… you feel… so fuck… fucking good…” Billy moaned in time with Steve’s thrusts, the hot water from Steve’s fancy shower head falling on his back. He kept his head down, and his hands on the tiled wall, hoping his knees would keep holding him up.

Steve’s cock hit that spot inside Billy that made him see stars and Billy came untouched. His cry of pleasure turned into a pained whimper when the force of his orgasm caused his elbows to give up and his face hit the shower wall.

Steve immediately pulled out and shut the water off. “Oh, shit, Billy, you alright?” 

“Fuck!” Billy leaned on his shoulder and brought a hand up, gently prodding at his nose. It hurt like a motherfucker.

Steve gently turned Billy around to check the damage. “Your nose is bleeding. Hang on.” He stepped out of the shower before Billy could say anything and passed him a wad of tissues. 

Billy pressed the tissues to his nose and let himself be pulled out of the shower stall. He stood still as Steve wrapped a fluffy towel around his waist.

“Get your sexy ass up there so I can have a proper look at you,” Steve said, nodding towards the counter and Billy complied.

Billy put his hands on Steve’s waist as the man he was quickly falling for stood between his legs. “Well, Nurse Steve, am I going to live?” he asked once Steve had finished inspecting his face.

“It appears so,” Steve said, rolling his eyes. “I don’t think it’s broken but you'll probably have a black eye for a week or two.”

“Speaking from experience, pretty boy?” Billy asked with a chuckle.

“You know it,” Steve replied, dropping a light kiss on the tip of Billy’s nose.
