Max walks from the hotel hallway into the dark suite. He flips on the lights to see an inexplicable hot tub. There, just a few yards from the California king in the upscale room, is a marble jacuzzi.

It seems elegant but out of place, plopped in the otherwise normal room like someone was drunkenly designing in The Sims. The entire hotel is quite elegant, but Max wasn't expecting his solo suite to be this fancy.

He looks over his key card's paper pouch while dislodging his phone from his jean pockets. After confirming with his team that, no it was not a mistake and yes this was the only room the hotel had left, he hangs up and stares at the jacuzzi like he would a strange wild animal. He then calls Daniel.

"Mate, do you have a hot tub in your room?"

"What? Like the bathtub with jets?" Daniel asks back, his mirthful tone intrigued.

"No, like a fucking pool hot tub by the bed."

"Holy shit. You got a honeymoon suite? Complete with rose petals and champagne?"

"Sadly just coffee packets and little soaps." Daniel laughs that charming honk that always makes Max smile reflexively.

"I'm sure they can bring some in for ya. Aw, you're a lucky man, Verstappen. Sounds divine. Far cry from our little shared teammate suites back in the day, right?"

Max's smile falls. He bites his lip, thinking of the gentle touches, the hushed friction from back then. Furtive handjobs in darkened rooms, twisted sheets and nervous assurances it was only out of convenience. "I always pack one, Maxy. Don't have to get ready if you stay ready. What kind you want? Trunks? Speedo?"

Max laughs. "Surprise me," he says. He glances at the tub, picturing Daniel's lean frame in there with him, legs brushing like ice baths back then or past soft contact in hotel showers, knees on wet tub floors. He shivers. "Whatever you want. You know...just for now," he adds, as if the underlining, wordless current of want would somehow be beamed telepathically from iPhone to iPhone.

Daniel doesn't say anything for a moment. "Max, I..." He takes a sharp breath. "Do you remember Spa 2018? When that chick threw a bra on the fan stage?"

Max smiles but then freezes when he remembers getting back to their shared suite that night. That Daniel kept it, cheeks as red as the laced bralette as he handed it to Max to try on, both of them still slick with sweat after qualifying, thighs slipping against one another, Danie's damp hands on Max's cupped breasts.

"Yes, I remember."

"Just for now, right?" Daniel asks, in that soft tone he hardly uses with anyone else.

"Just for now."

"Okay, I'll bring two options."

He hangs up. Max stares at the cold marble and feels heat well in his belly. He lets a nervy breath go and unpacks just to do something to get his mind off the defrosting longing.

"Damn," Daniel says as he eyes the hot tub. Max watches his friend stroll into the suite as he looks over the room. He's still in the team kit from some media event he must have been at downtown. Max feels undone seeing him in that shade of blue again. "A nice touch. Floridian elegance," Daniel says.

"I should start the water."

"I'll do it. Here," Daniel says, tossing a bunched up shopping bag into Max's arms. "Whichever you want, okay?"

Max looks into Daniel's big brown eyes and nods. His mind is a cat pawing Daniel's words like a ball of yarn as he slips into the bathroom to change.

The first thing he pulls out is a classic pair of swim trunks covered in little palm trees. He sets them aside, opens the bag further, and peers down at the other two red items at the bottom. He swallows. That throbbing, electric current ups in kilowatts in his heart, thinking that Daniel missed it, too. He wants it again, too. It's a simple mantra he repeats mentally on loop as he shuffles off his jeans and shirt. He puts on the bikini and assesses his reflection.

He wishes he had shaved. He looks from the smattering of facial hair around his full lips and soft cheeks down to his tense, strong neck and further down past his collarbones to his two pecs. His hand-full breasts are held in place by the scarlet triangles of silky fabric, edged with a slight lace design. "For now," Max nods and lets the towel drop off his body.

The hotel air is cold but soon Daniel's warm hands are on him, tracing gentle lines up his arms.

"Holy shit," he breathes. He leans in. Max's hands mirror his lines, running up Daniel's arms, palms resting on ink. "Max, God. You look so good."

"Daniel."

Daniel squeezes Max's shoulders, fingers skating in to dip under the straps of the bikini like Max did just moments ago. "Tell me if it's too much."

"It's not enough."

"Jesus Christ, Max," Daniel says, hands moving back to press down into Max's shoulder blades. He swears and lets his hips roll forward. Max feels relieved at the press of Daniel's already hard cock against his.

"You missed this, too?" Max asks.

"I bet it was just as good, with the others?"

Plot: Reader is the first female F1 driver of the century, however no-one knows that as you are a ghost on the grid. You started in 2022, coming in P12 in the championship. You get moved to Red Bull Racing in 2023 with the off year for Sergio Perez.

Over the winter you'd not really done much. You'd spent time with family, and then done a bit of solo travelling in which you ended up bumping into Lando randomly in Finland.

You'd spent a lot of time with Christian and Max and the Red Bull HQ looking at the car for 2024 and whether you'd still be in a rocket ship.

You could tell this year wouldn't be as dominant as Red Bull were last year, you knew the Ferrari and McLaren would be up there fighting for the points.

The start of the season was stressful. Lewis announcing his leave from Mercedes and would be joining Ferrari in 2025 meant that there was a free seat available and Carlos Sainz had no confirmed seat.

There was some heat on you, you'd worried so much that you'd actually gone to Christian's home in pure panic about your seat. You didn't want to have your seat removed like Perez did in 2023.

He'd confirmed that he had no reason to get rid of you and presented you with a contract extension until 2028. The longest Red Bull contract extension in the last few years. 5 years of commitment with a currently best performing team.

You'd be stupid to turn it down.

"Y/N, it's great to have you here with us today. Thank you for joining us, first things first. Congratulations are in order not only for your incredible season last year, but your 5 year extension in the Red Bull Family, how does it feel knowing that you and Max will continue on together now that you both have your contracts running out at the same time?" the interviewer asks.

"Thank you for having me, and thank you for that! 2023 was a great season, not only as a learning experience but for no longer being Ghost. I didn't think 2023 would be the year for a win but with a great team like Red Bull backing me it was sooner rather than later a win would occur even alongside some of the best drivers that are currently on the grid! As far as my contract extension goes, it's a really funny story of how I was offered it!" you start with a little laugh.

"Do tell!" they exclaim looking over you.

"Well, I went to Christians house. I was worried with the Lewis move that my seat would be 'up for grabs' and came to him in a slight panic and yeah he wanted me until 2028 and I think i would have been very silly had I not accepted that proposal" you smile.

"And were there other talks about you switching seats at all?" he asked.

"I mean, there's always talks and whispers. I had Toto reach out to me, I had Mike Krack call me. But the most interesting was Zac Brown's phone call!" you chuckle remembering speaking to the McLaren Team Principle before he'd renewed Lando's contract.

He'd basically said a seat was up for grabs, if Red Bull removed your seat because he thought Oscar and Lando would potentially take that seat. Then Lando extended his contract and Oscar hadn't said anything so he called you again to say that it was just Oscar now which is when you went to Christian as rumours had circled last year about him wanting to have another Max Verstappen in RedBull.

"Care to comment on that conversation with Zac?" he asks you, looking at his notes seeing that he had only asked one question so far as he didn't think he'd get this much from you.

"I don't think I can just because of the nature of the conversation we had, but there was multiple conversations across the board over the winter break between loads of different drivers and team principles because of that one move so I can imagine the start of 2025 and 2026 with those new regulations will be different"

"Yeah that's going to be very interesting, we're all very excited. Obviously with the mention of Zac we're brought onto the Oscar situation, obviously there was a true rivalry that I think went deeper just racing after you revealed yourself as Ghost... has that relationship improved over the winter?" he asks and you actually felt ready to fully speak out on the situation, you felt safe on this podcast and heard.

"Well, I don't like to talk about it to much out of respect for Oscar but recently he's not been very polite in the media. I had to sign an NDA when i signed with RedBull to not reveal anything about my identity until Christian Horner said I could. I could have lost my seat if I'd told Oscar and I'd worked so hard to get where I was. So I upset him, by not being honest with him when I posed as my own PR manager... but I still hold a lot of respect for him and he was at one point one of my closest friends on the grid. I hope this year he's able to just focus on racing on not make childish comments like he did last year" you say seriously knowing it was time that you should really start to speak out on the matter as it was only getting worse with time.

"Thank you for speaking out on this!" the interviewer smiles before asking a few more questions all about racing and your predictions for the 2024 season.

You left and the week later you were catching a flight to Bahrain, you weren't travelling with the team and managed to get a first class seat from London to Bahrain. You were boarding when you saw a familiar face.

"You've got to be shitting me" you said stopped by your chair pod in first class seeing none other than Oscar.

"Huh?" he says fully looking up to see you and hos face turns sour.

"Great, just great!" he sighs turning away from you.

"So fucking childish!" you exclaim putting your bag down under the seat.

"I may be childish but at least I'm not a liar!" he scolds with a frown on his face.

"Oscar, as much as I loved you... i wasn't about to risk a career I'd worked so hard for and can be snatched from me in seconds if someone better performing comes along!" you admit looking over him once before taking your seat and sending the partition that separated you guys from each other and putting a lock in place.

You thanked the air-host when he came round and offered you a drink and an extra blanket for the duration of the flight. He also asked you to take a picture with him which of course you did and you ended up giving him your Red Bull team hat.

Afterwards you had a small nap, waiting for dinner where the partition was pulled down by the airhost.

"Look Y/N..." Oscar tries as his food is placed in front of him.

"I'm trying to enjoy my meal Osc, I wont entertain this" you sighed not looking over at him and continuing to eat the fancy pasta dish in front of you.

"I'm trying to apologize can you stop being so stubborn!" he says with a raised voice making people look towards the pair of you thanks to the disruption.

"Your calling me stubborn when your the one making the apology. All you've done for the past 6 months is chat shit about me Osc, you were my friend and I wanted to tell you for so long, but I couldn't so don't call me stubborn when you've hurt me too!" you cry before pulling the seat separator up just wanting a moment to collect yourself.

After 20 minutes, and some silent crying on your half and plates having been collected, he pulls the separator back down making you look over at him with red puffy eyes.

He opened his arms up with a guilty look on his face. You looked at him a little shocked before nodding and climbing over and laying on top of him in his lap. He wraps his large arms around you and you nuzzle down into his neck, your body shaking against his as you sob. He pulls you tightly against him.

"I know, I know! I'm so sorry" he whispers into your ear holding you and rubbing your back.

"It was so scary Osc, I lost my best friend just as the highest point of my career and life was about to start!" you cry against him, wrapping your own arms around him and clinging to him like a teddy bear.

"I'm so sorry, I was so angry and then i just kept screwing up and I got more and more mad when you didn't retaliate because you are such a good and kind person and I'm not" he says with a few tears of his own.

"I was so scared I lost you. Have a lost you?" you ask looking over at him and he smiles a puffy cheeked smile at you.

"I think i should be the one asking that" he sighs holding you and kissing your forehead.

"Always, you'll always have me Osc" you say nuzzling down further into the crook of the hoodie he was wearing.

Mrs Tina Turner The "Queen of Rock 'n' Roll" 

(November 26, 1939 – May 24, 2023)

In a career spanning more than 60 years, the US-Swiss singer, who was born Anna Mae Bullock in Nutbush, Tennessee, won eight competitive Grammy Awards and has a star on both the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the St Louis Walk of Fame.

Her famous track list over the years includes the Bond theme track for 1995’s GoldenEye, with a tune of the same name co-written by Bono and The Edge of U2 fame, and other tracks include We Don’t Need Another Hero (Thunderdome), What’s Love Got to Do With It, Private Dancer, Let’s Stay Together and many more.

In 2008 she duetted at the Grammys with Beyonce for a rendition of Proud Mary which featured both the powerful singers, in sparkly outfits, mirroring each other’s choreography.

Other notable duets through her career included performing with David Bowie and in 1985 she took to the stage with The Rolling Stones’ Sir Mick Jagger during Live Aid.

Her career spanned more than music, with her starring in the 1985 film Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome alongside Mel Gibson and she also appeared in 1993’s Last Action Hero.

In 2021 she sold the rights to her back catalogue after reaching an agreement with BMG for an undisclosed sum, signing over her share of her recordings, her music publishing writer’s share and her name, image and likeness, the company said.

Her solo works include 10 studio albums, two live albums, two soundtracks and five compilations, which together have sold more than 100 million records.

Tour Of Britain But It's (Hopefully) Less Shit

Stage 1A: Richmond Park 10km 50m elev.

we open with a 10k lap of Richmond Park -- it's the cycling hotspot of the capital, time trials are a big part of the UK domestic scene, and i like a prologue TT. and it would really piss off london cyclists when whoever wins sets a record time around the park, taking with them the leaders jersey for the first proper road stage later the same day:

Stage 1B: London -> Brighton, 150km 1,000m elev.

a meandering journey to the seaside taking in the Olympics-famous Box Hill and joining the classic London to Brighton route, the first stage winner will likely need to bide their time and hope an attack on Ditchling Beacon gets them enough of a gap to take them to the finish line.

Stage 2: Oxford -> Cambridge, 190km 700m elev.

between the two ancient university towns lies the flat and beautiful Bedfordshire. the peloton will start among the dreaming spires and the sprinters will tough it out on King's Parade, a stone's throw from the apple tree newton supposedly sat under while working on gravitation!

Stage 3: Telford -> Stoke-on-Trent, 220km 1,500m elev.

we loop into Wales for a long but relatively gentle start to the hills... the Clwydian Range might not be the Pyrenees but there are plenty significant climbs in there that indicate today is likely one for the breakaway -- or an audacious solo -- and the notorious welsh weather could lead to all sorts of surprises

Stage 4: Manchester -> Leeds, 160km, 1,800m elev.

heading first south from Manchester into the Peak District and finishing with a city circuit in Leeds, this should be another chance for a breakaway ahead of tomorrow...

Stage 5, the Queen Stage: York -> Hardknott Pass, 280km, 3,500m (!) elev.

i woke up and chose violence. giro mountain stages eat your heart out, it's time for GC action in the North York Moors, Yorkshire Dales, and the Lake District with a summit finish on Hardknott Pass (the steepest road in england, maxing out at an eye-popping 30%). Rosedale Chimney, Buttertubs Pass, and the aptly named Struggle are the key climbs before Hardknott, and the helicopter shots will be superb as the race passes through some of the UK's most beautiful landscapes, finishing within sight of Scafell Pike.

Stage 6: Carlisle -> Glasgow, 180km, 850m elevation.

a border-crossing run into two laps of the iconic 2023 city circuit, this punchy stage will likely favour whichever classics specialist can recover the best from yesterday's efforts

Stage 7: Edinburgh -> Newcastle, 195km, 1,000m elev.

starting in scotland's capital, today is the final opportunity for any GC changes, mostly rolling terrain but enough to make a difference if it's only a few seconds

Stage 8: Peterborough -> Great Yarmouth, 180km 300m elev.

and so the Tour of Britain But It's (Hopefully) Less Shit concludes with a sprint along Great Yarmouth's seafront Golden Mile, bringing to an end a hopefully exciting one-week race in this country that does actually have decent cycling, contrary to what the actual TOB might lead you to believe

Batman is back with a vengeance. Three years after HBO Max and Cartoon Network first announced Batman: Caped Crusader — the adult-oriented animated series that was eventually canceled by the since-renamed Max streaming service, only to then be picked up at Prime Video — the new Batman TV show is about to hit the small screen. A cast announcement video revealed Linklater's Batman voice and the Dark Knight's rogue's gallery: The Penguin, Catwoman, Two-Face, Harley Quinn, the pyromaniac Firebug, Natalia Knight (in the comics, a reformed career criminal with photosensitive skin known as Nocturna, the mistress of the night), the phantom criminal called Gentleman Ghost, and Clayface (the Golden Age Clayface of the 1940s was Basil Karlo, a once-famous character actor and makeup expert turned costumed killer). Caped Crusader reimagines Dr. Harleen Quinzel as Asian American — and Bruce Wayne's psychologist. Here, her alter-ego as the jester-costumed Harley Quinn is independent from the Joker, who is noticeably absent from the roundup of Batman characters.

Commissioner Jim Gordon – Former beat cop close to retirement, Gordon was hired to play along with the corrupt system and run out the clock till he can draw a pension. But they've sorely underestimated Jim Gordon. His unassailable character brings him into conflict with dirty cops and crooked politicians, alike. Not to mention, he has to reckon with a deranged vigilante beating up Gotham's criminals.

Clayface – Thanks to his "unique" facial features, screen actor Basil Karlo has been forever typecast as a B-movie heavy. Frustrated by the limitations his appearance put on both his career and personal life (he fell hopelessly in love with his co-star), Karlo turned to an experimental serum that promised to change his face. However, not only does this serum ultimately disfigure his face, but it ruptures the last of his sanity – creating the tragic, vengeance seeking villain, Clayface.

Cryptocism starts from Thad's last appearance in the Impulse solo comic and from there crafts the most beautiful and intricate character arc that Thad never got to see. There's complex identity conundrums, there's new and interesting applications of super speed, there's a cast of some of the most well written OCs I have ever read, there's even some superb accompanying art. I need people outside the small sphere of ardent Bart enjoyers to experience this fic.

On March 13, At 12AM KST the trailer for Agust D's upcoming movie was unveiled, stirring quite the excitement throughout social media platforms with short performance clips and deep reflections on the tour itself. It will follow the rapper through the encore of his 2023 'D-Day' tour, featuring performances from fellow BTS members RM, Jimin and Jungkook as well as his younger sister, ATEEZ member Himari.

The young idol in question joined the rapper on stage on June 25, in the midst of her own group promotions, to perform their recently released single 'Pray'. This specific stage remains the topic of many conversations surrounding the 'D-Day' era, showcasing the impact their chemistry had on the audience.

Netizens expressed looking forward to their single's performance as it might be the only time it is seen performed live, with both artists having stated that they likely would never sing these tracks without the other - with the exception of 'Hikikomori' as it was heavily rooted in the vocalist's personal experience. Their setlist also included songs Agust D created in collaboration with other artists, namely; Burn It (ft. MAX), People Pt. 2 (ft. IU) and so far away (ft. SURAN).

It has to be something that has never been posted anywhere else before, so finishing and sharing a WIP is okay! If it doesn’t fit any of the prompts, you can share it on Free Day.

💗 Is this event open to all ratings?

Yes! Just remember to use a “Read more” cut if you’re posting the whole work on Tumblr, and to add a note at the top if your work is rated Mature or Explicit, as well as if it has any major trigger warnings, so all folks can safely browse through the entries.

💗 Are there any length or quality requirements?

There’s no min. or max. length for fanfic or quality level for art, but please note that AI-generated works won't be accepted. For gifsets, there’s a minimum of two gifs (that must be made by you!). For playlists, there’s a minimum of five songs. For rec lists of fic or fanart, there’s also a minimum of five recs. Some more questions you might have about rec lists:

- How do I share someone else's art without posting a picture? You might post a thumbnail that crops a preview of the piece; if the piece has a title, you might use that; you might describe it; or you might say something like “this piece by [artist]”, and link to the source.

- What if I found a fanart on Google? Try to find the original source using reverse search image.

- What if I can’t still find it, can I just say “credit to the artist”? In that case, please just don’t share the piece.

- What if I know the artist but don’t have a link to the original source? Naming the artist and linking back to where you found it is okay, in that case.

💗 Is the event based on "The Princess and the Scoundrel"?

Not really! That's just an excuse to celebrate Han/Leia 😊 You don’t need to include or acknowledge it in any way in your creations, although you’re welcome to.

💗 Can I write for canon/Legends and include other pairings?

All canons, time periods, headcanons and AUs are welcome, and you're allowed to include side pairings, except for R*eylo. However, keep in mind that this is a Han/Leia appreciation week - at the risk of sounding repetitive, works should focus on appreciating Han and Leia's relationship!

💗 What's the time zone for the event?

Please don't worry too much about time zones: when we say "day", we always mean "whenever that day is for you in your part of the world". IE: if it's Monday for you, you can post your work for the Monday prompt.
