Personality

Matt is an introverted person in general if not a bit antisocial. He doesn’t really care for small talk and random filler conversations. He has a few close people to him that he truly enjoys engaging with, but for the most part Matt finds interacting a bit of a pain and boring to do. (He’s like talking to a brick wall at times).

He has strong morals for the things he cares about. Matt loves natures and is an outdoorsman at heart. He has a soft spot for children and animals and would go to great lengths to protect them.

He’s the type of person who volunteers to go be a volunteer firefighter or work at an animal shelter. Matt might act stoic at times but he has a pretty big heart.

He’s a manly guy and believes in fighting and defending his belongings or trusted people.

Matt is very loyal to the people closest to him. Like his family or whoever manages to take the time to befriend him. As much as Allen annoys him he still loves him a lot.

Appearance

He’s very muscular, although not in a bodybuilder way. More in a he’s toned and does practical outdoor work that builds muscle.

Matt is tall around 6’4 in height and about 195lbs. He has broad shoulders and beefy arms and thighs.

He has blonde hair that comes to his shoulders. He usually ties it back in a low ponytail style.

Fun Facts

Matt is strongly against poaching and animal cruelty in general.

His closest friend (best friend by default) is his brother Allen.

(I follow the headcanon that his actual first name is James and he goes by Matt) His full legal name is James Matthieu Williams

okay so somewhere in a Human AU William Kirkland is a spy, like a MIB type "I don't exist" spy. He got recruited and subsequently faked his death right out of college, a car crash, the body couldn't be recovered. No connections left, his job was now quite literally his life.

(Russia is the villain I apologize but this is like, spy kids esque goofy villain)

anyway; four kids get brought into a type of "Witness protection" all four of their mothers had been killed by Agent Kirklands greatest enemy. All four kids biological fathers weren't around. They need to go looking for them just incase they're the next targets.... awkward conversation between the director and their best agent about... uhhh... well, they found the dad.

Years go by, they can't just send the kids back out into the world it's almost guaranteed they--and any of their guardians--would be killed. So they're raised to be spies. Within a few years Agent Kirkland and his team are the best in the biz.

Matthieu and Alfred's code names were given to them as a joke bc for about 8 months straight they watched The Patriot at least once a week and they stuck. "Joey" and "Kiwi" aren't official code names, but everyone is pretty sure like "Ghost" and "Patriot" they will end up sticking.

“It’s down here.” James was leading them by the hand, giving a reassuring squeeze. “You’ll be safe. They can’t get you here.” And he is right. Your parents would never find you all the way out here, past the private property and into the deep wilderness. You spent the last twenty minutes on foot, parking the truck on the side of the road. He felt the need to cover his tracks, even though he knew your parents wouldn't come looking for you. He glances down at you, his flannel jacket covering your arms - covering those marks. He grunts, now glaring ahead. He didn’t want you to see his expression directed towards yourself and panic. Didn't want you to panic and think you were just like them. He would kill them. He would rip those fuckers to shreds. 

He can’t wait. He will invite his brother and Kuma down for the ride, grab him stick, and just go to work on them. Oh, he can’t wait to throw it into action. He’d make your mother--no. No, no, no. That isn’t right. She’s no longer your mother. She doesn’t have the right. She doesn’t get to call herself that after what she did. No, if you needed a female figure in your life James himself would go look for a suitable mummy for you. 

He’d do anything for you. He didn’t want you to end up like his found-family. He wanted you to get the support before it was too late. That’s what he’d do. He’d build you up after your parents tore you down. Anytime you’d leave, he or Allen would be by your side. If you wanted to be pampered, he’d invite Oliver over. Yes. He knew what he would do. 

You continue to shuffle along beside him, quiet as always. But he could tell. He was very much the same as you when he was young. Traumatised into this shell of a lamb forced to follow orders and never get to grow up. He would buy you new bed cover, you’d get to browse through catalogues and pick out what you wanted for your birthday and Christmas. Damn, he’d even spoil you and let you pick out a magazine every time you went to the store, tearing out a poster and put it up in your new room in this house. No. This home. You were home now. This would forever be your home.

Howdy yall!!

I wanna be more consistent with how I draw Matt so here is a mini ref sheet and I just wanted to elaborate on it and sprinkle in some of my own headcannons.

Not only this but I do have an Al ref sheet planned.

Appearance

TALL man, not only that but he is also just built like a bear. Under his clothes he has a few scars here and there but what is life without some? His physique is kind of like one of those body builders who build for strength, not for show.

He is very much a strawberry blonde! His hair texture is very rough, imagine like a horse's mane. It can get some curls underneath but he doesn't really follow a hair care regime that would allow for his curls to really come through.

He always has some redness to his face. It is hard to say if that is because its almost always cold where he lives or he just is built like that. The rest of his skin is very pale with some scars as mentioned before.

Sometimes he sports a short beard but he likes to be clean shaven. It makes him feel like he has a routine, though if he actually had a routine he would go crazy. So he often has a blonde 5'00 shadow.

His eyes are very intense, with notable bags under his eyes buried under some sharp blonde brows.

His wardrobe is pretty plain, its mostly jeans, flannels and his Mountie uniform. He HATES not being able to cover up for one reason or another. Most of his shoes are dirty from work or just being outside.

General

His full name is Matthieu James Williams. Though mostly he goes by, Matt. Though very rarely some call him James. (It is usually when his brother teases him.)

Though he doesn't need a job, in the winter months he often works as a lumberjack. And when it warms up, he helps out as a Mountie and primarily works with implementing and enforcing policies that have to do with silviculture and wild game.

Usually in his pockets he will have a piece of candy or two. It is never anything fruity flavored or gummies. It is a mix between, butterscotch, toffee, maple sugars, carmels or something in that ball park.

Drives a Ford truck! Cars are something he appreciates with his brother so he takes pretty good care of it.

He usually likes to have cash, though he does not go into town often so cash just sits in his wallet.

As much as he hates it, his cellphone. Because you never know when you will need it. Same for his knife. Though he uses it for tasks like opening boxes and cutting up apples.

He loves Hockey, just always has and always will. He loves playing it just as much as watching it.

Loves nature! But hates a lot of the people in it. Especially the "Hippies". Though he uses this word to refer to many people who are not just hippies. He cant stand people who spend time in nature just to plaster it all over social media. He knows it doesn't effect him much but, he cant stand the over crowding at scenic sights and pollution those people cause.

It especially irks him when people act like they care for the environment but they don't take any steps to care for it. So many self proclaimed "Hippies" just bother him. From the way that the dress, talk, act and so on.

Name: James Matthieu Williams (Matt)

Age: 23 human, nation 470 since being founded, can claim 144

Height: 6'3

Weight: 195 lbs.

Appearance: Broad-shouldered and built like a man who has worked all the days of his life. The muscles are well-toned but not really defined. Beefy arms and legs from all the lifting and walking he does. He has huge scars across his chest, smaller claw scars on his left arm, and a burn on his right shoulder. Has a large tattoo on his back. Tends to wear flannels, jeans, and work boots. When he needs to dress formal it is his Mountie uniform, he hates suits. Tired violet eyes, he wears sunglasses to hide them, doesn't like that people stare. Has dirty blonde hair that comes to his shoulder, it has a slight curl (if it was short his hair would be super curly) and a single long curl that swings to the left.

Personality: Just like his brother he is a hothead. His fuse is just as short, though his overall expression of self is not as out there. He tends to be more stoic in his interactions with people unless he is boasting, challenging, or pissed off.

He is very manly; he believes that a man should be tough and fight to the end to defend his stuff. He also believes that if he bests you in a fight that involves defending a person, object, or territory then it is now his.

He has a commanding presence that causes people to look at him in either fear or respect. He does have soft spots; those include animals and toddlers. Those he has a soft spot for will have him at their beck and call. He will protect them until his last breath and even then refuse to lose.

He hates poachers and will first torture them like the animals they trap, and then kill them slowly. Often times Kuma gets to eat the leftovers. 

Dead: no, alive and kicking

Weapon: hockey stick that is covered in barbed wire and somehow sharped the wood to blade-like sharpness. Also a Ross Mk.III rifle. Doesn’t like handguns

Family:  America, England, France, Australia, New Zealand,

ETC: Kuma is his polar bear, and he is huge! Canada and he met before France found him. Canada isn’t sure where Kuma came from and they more or less just found each other. After they found each other, they stayed near the places where people were settled. But far enough away not to be noticed, Canada felt the need to kind of guard his people's settlement.

Canada got his chest scar from fighting with an adult polar bear while in his early teens. He got pissed off by a comment made about him being too weak to fight a bear in hand-to-hand combat. He thought he could do it and was determined to win. But once the bear hit his chest he was down for the count. 

Prefers to be called Matt, despite that his first name is James. To him, it doesn't make him sound like an old man and it sounds tougher.

In the notion of AU’s, I am still new to the whole concept. And from that inexperience, they are not allowed. Yet.
