I've always wondered if maybe Black Pete actually did work for Ed in the past, but maybe it just wasn't anything like his stories to Stede's crew, and he used the exaggerations and lies about his experience to cover up how bad it was for him.

Was he left out of raids? Did the other crewmates get annoyed of him idolising Blackbeard? Was slapping his head common, like in 1x04? Was there a connection between both him and Izzy knowing how to whittle? How did he end up switching crews?

I also just really want to see what his leathers would've actually looked like. XD

I met Nathan Foad and Matthew Maher at NYC Comic Con today it was so amazing; they are both so kind and friendly and you can really tell they love this community

the others in line to meet them were amazing as well- my sister and I got ribbons, buttons, and pins from the other fans. everyone was so generous and lovely <333

I'm sorry but the single best part of this gif set is Black Pete. Look at that man. His face is perfect. That expression is glorious. Jim is like "okay I'm gonna fight to back this up. Please let there be violence." But Black Pete is "damn, this guy is totally worth telling outlandish stories about." I just. I love him so much. Thank the gods for Matthew Maher.
