Halloween results

Five individuals have recognized me as Matt Murdock/Daredevil.

One person has recognized me as “the lawyer from Spider-Man”.

With feathers instead of the fur collar around the jacket, the Polar Tang crew dressed as goth ravers in the background... like I can see it so clearly. And, like the Graverobber, Law isn't really the bad guy that he seems to be at first--he's absolutely morally questionable and does bad things to achieve his goals, but he's not the villain.

Last night I had a dream that I went to see a Hozier concert, but it was held in someone's literal basement and there were only like twenty people there total, and we were all jamming until partway through, Matt Mercer showed up in full Vincent Valentine cosplay upstairs and started levitating while quoting voice lines at us, and we were all like "YOOOOO THAT'S SICK" until I remembered we'd accidentally ditched Hozier downstairs, so I went back down and saw that he was packing up and looking kinda said, so I went and said hi to him, but I accidentally startled him and he started singing "Would That I" at full volume on reflex, and it was actually really good, just very loud and slightly panicked, and he kept singing as he shuffled away and hid behind a nearby bit of fence like a nervous woodland creature. I don't know where the fence came from because this was in the basement but he did hide behind it.

Alright then, here's the characters, the weapons they use (that's a contributing factor, I'd say), and some details whenever I consider it necessary.

First off, Gwin Evans, 24 years old who uses long swords and assault rifles:

Doug Barret, 30 years old, who uses photon sabres (basically light sabres) and rayguns (also, voiced by Patrick Seitz)

Lao, 31 years old, the Sad™ widower who uses a sniper rifle and javelin (voiced by Matt Mercer)

L'cirufe, the tallest playable character bar none, who uses shields and psycho launchers (kinda like the orbitars in KIU)

Kentaro Nagi, 57 years old, who wields longswords and gattlings guns - the resident Dunban-like swordmaster

Phog Christoph, 24 years old, who uses dual swords and dual guns (also very likely neurodivergent)

Frye Christoph, 30 years old, older brother of Phog, uses gattling guns and longswords, enjoys drinking about as much as Gregor Fire Emblem

Hector Bumwhistle Birthwhistle, or H.B. for short, 28 years old, uses shields and assault rifles

Also of note with H.B. is the Superior Form™:

Bozé Lowes, 54 years old, uses javelins and sniper rifles. Also derogatory, personally.

Yelv (just Yelv, really), 22 years old, uses photon sabres and rayguns. Also enthusiastically calls the player avatar "pardner".

And lastly, Jack Vandham, who's not actually playable and 48 years old.

This is the second time I am answering this because my workplace wifi died as I was publishing it. These are my ratings, which don't mean anything, followed by short commentary.

Gwin: Very Fuckable, acts like he wants to be friends with benefits but always catches feelings. Would I reciprocate? Who knows?

Doug: HOT, we love a guy with a deep voice and light sabers and big guns. It does not get better than that. Hung and everyone can tell.

Lao: Not My Type, but I can easily see him causing multiple fans some terrible mental illnesses. "How big is that dick?" "Small, leave me alone"-type of guy.

L'cirufe: Attractive, monster fans need their rights respected. His face card is NOT declining.

Nagi: HOT. Resident old man whose cervix is being done crazy things to on twitter (or should be). Hung and don't ask me how I can tell.

Phoggot: Eh. Good for him on the neurodivergence but you can meet multiple twinks who look like him at any nightclub.

Frye: Intriguing, looks like someone who lead an interesting life and could surprise you in bed. Further research is needed.

Hbirthwhistleguy: Not My Type, but I'm sure he has quite a reach with fans. I support his Bayonetta 2 cosplay endeavors.

Bozé: Eh, this man will leave you and pretend the child isn't his. Have I played this game and do I know what this guy is about? No, but it had to be said.

Yelv: No, thank you. We have Shulk at home. That man is not 22.

Jack: I Love Arm. I could see him being a secret softie in bed. Spoils you to make up for feelings of inadequacy.

Matt Mercer probably has the best year ever, first he's iconic bad guy Ganondorf in Zelda, then he's Vincent Valentine in ffvii rebirth, both franchises he's a huge fan of (cosplayed both?), like good for him. :D 👏

Dunno if you follow Critical Role at all, but if you do-- how do you feel about Matt Mercer basically accidentally cosplaying Lucien during their recent live show in London? Saw him walk on stage in the recording and immediately thought of your art.

…But with this question it became a little clearer (although it was hard to even google it haha). To be honest, I don’t have any thoughts on this matter, sorry. I mean, this is a cosplay for another character and I don't think he looks like Lucian, but still it's cute that you thought of him!

we love supporting small streamers ;) so here’s a highlight of katy’s stream with nick as a guest! 

nick might cosplay as re4r leon, he’s too busy right now

he loves doing emotional scenes

nick got to write a lot of his lines in re4r (this kind of tracks that some of the lines may have been different from what was originally written in the script, but he implies that the lines he was allowed to write were more of the one liners)

two of his favourite lines were (that he wrote), “you wanna get ugly, let’s get ugly,” and “tell someone who gives a shit.”

he was in japan recently for 8 days (just for fun)

he does a lot of travelling for fixers tv (to help with villages or towns, there are 30 episodes or so)

he(Nick) was not approached to reprise the role of Leon for Death Island (he thinks it makes sense to get Matt Mercer for Death Island since it’s a sequel to Vendetta and Matt played the role then)

he’s into metal

he is trying to get into a convention in ireland (but it is not confirmed)

he is trying to get into conventions, they (the cast) are not getting invited as much as he thought they would. he thinks that he will be in more cons in 2024 as most of the guests for 2023 were asked back in 2022.

he has a con in a sacramento and maryland coming soon (most cons that are inviting him are anime related so far)

he loves doing motion capture and he gets to see a version of leon when he’s working

nick likes oreos and will eat an oreo whenever he or the person playing dies lol (44 minutes in ish)

he did the hot ones challenge (it was for charity) it took him about a day to recover (he almost went to the hospital that night)

he googled “can you burn a hole into your stomach with hot sauce” “can i die from hot sauce”

he does not want to do another hot wings challenge

he gifts some subs at 51 mins

ronnie shows up and asks a question at around 58 min (the cosplayer) to ask about fine arts

1hr02 while they’re having a nice speech about being true to yourself

nick is not a dancer

nick thinks if leon was a gamer, he would be good at survival horror games lol (he said maybe he would play fortnite but he’s not into it)

he has slowed down with his art and hasn’t felt inspired in a while. he’s not sure if he would do an art stream because he feels like he draws so slowly

he does struggle with streaming and talking to chat, so that’s why he also has mods and other guests to keep the stream more lively

he might be interested in doing streams with wood work

he likes peanut butter and mint oreos right now

1hr14 he talks about durian lol he says it tastes like a creamy garlic spread

(he really sounds like a foodie which is nice, yes he will try almost everything with food)

nick is a big coffee drinker and he likes dirty martinis and negronis (slightly bitter)

he lives with two cats and he pets them, he would call himself a dog person though

he says for his one year on twitch he will maybe do a 24 hour stream
