my newest pet peeve is people trying to use like chat gpt and other language models as calculators
#theyre just mimicking text!#theyll give you an answer that *sounds* right because thats what theyre meant to do#but anything more complex than like 2+3 is going to run this risk of being very very wrong#and that just goes up the more complex math questions you give them#drives me nuts#ive seen a ceo of a MAJOR marketing and creative agency#as well as a relatively tech savy youtuber i watch#do exactly this in the past few ands and what do you know THE MATH THEIR AI DID WAS WRONG#because its a LANGUAGE model not a MATH one#uuugh#dumbmuf

academia astro observations (pt 12 <3)
its college season, and diploma season and a season (i am hopeless about my college life fr)
well nvm you intelligent folks, you probably cannot relate, lets go:
1.Smartest people I have seen have Virgo and Gemini placements 9/10 times. Especially, in 3rd, 9th and 12th house
2. Ok so Aquarius is an underrated placement when it comes to being intelligent, I think I have said it before maybe? But aquarius mercuries, stelliums and 11th/3rd housers are most definately tech savy.
3. OH having Grand Trine in air element*bows down* such an active mind, and so super smart, almost effortlessly but don't get lazy y'all that is one another thing
4. I think just like its sister sign somewhat? Scorpio people, especially suns are really good with money and finances, creating money and infact managing money as well
5. Sagittarius and Libra placements are very likely to succeed in theoretical subjects, like business and arts and history and both of them, civics 100%
6. Your 9th house sign or lets say element can show your learning styles, 9H in Air signs? You might actually study by yourself really well, probably using books and lectures. 9H in Earth signs? The people who like going to labs, practical experiences. 9H in Water sign? Feeling an emotional connection and desire to study or they would overwhelm themselves and come falling down, 9H in Fire signs? Ah, you all definitely need some kind of pressure to ground and sit down and grind but once you do you guys have some real passion and drive, like pulling an all nighter before an exam and doing well somehow vibes.
7. Virgo in 9H people can learn anything, ANYTHING. Maths, history. sociology, you name it. All they need is time and desire for that subject.
8. This also makes me feel Virgo in 9H people are definitely the types to elaborate everything they write especially in academic settings so they could in fact do very well writing academic papers
9. Part of Fortune in 3rd/9th again makes you a good learner and someone who can do well academically. but it doesn't quite mean you will excel without studying ahem it just means you have this extra gift to you.
10. Aquarius in 9H people are most likely to be the ones who ask the most questions in class, even if it feels it maybe totally unnecessary at times, but they are rarely afraid to speak to their instructors and ask curious questions even if they are non relevant.
11. Taurus placements, risings, or 9H, can actually be slow learners or late to bloom academically, but once they really learn something, boy its in their memory forever.
12. I have often seen people with Gemini placements have surficial knowledge in things, or they may rush with things at times, and not really go into deep details like Virgos or Aquarius people, just my observation
13. Uranus in 9H or 3H people can change majors a lot, and maybe just be uncertain overall with what they have to do.
14. Ruler of 9H in 8H can show there might be some kind of sudden nature involved in your college experience, maybe your suddenly dropout, maybe its a completely diffrent and transformative experience for you, maybe you get mental health issues in college etc.
15. College romance is likely for people who have Gemini Juno or Virgo Juno or Juno 9H/3H/11H (maybe through your friends, maybe college friends ahem) another one is ruler of 7H in 9H
16. Oh yes, people with Mercury as their chart ruler are again quick learners and also, really good at learning and very dedicated to studying things they are studying and would excel with talent or hardwork or both
17. Jupiter in 1st house people also actually come off as really smart and wise, but somewhat intimidating and know-it-alls when it specifically concerns to their academic abilities
18. Having pisces in 9H is actually one of the other indicators of being smart and actually, more of intuitive and intellectual smart, and these people actually may have some kind of emotional connection to their major and coursework not as in crying type of emotional but maybe their parents want them to succeed, maybe they want to do it because they feel like it. I also feel these people may like doodling while studying or using cute stationary or notes.
19. Mars aspecting Mercury, and you are very likely to get into full force with what you are studying, maybe go to the depths and get full drive and passion to be the best, have that competitive spirit inside you.
20. Speaking of which, it is yet again possible that people with Sun in 9H or Leo in 9H or ruler of 5H in 9H actually get competitive about studies. Infact if you have prominent leo and mercury placements both, this desire to be the best is even amplified (my mom has this, and even though her conditions did not support her completely to be as bright as she could, she still exceeded expectations imo and was always competitive about it even though she did not think of academics that seriously)
21. Jupiter aspecting Mercury people are more of wisdom smart or I may say curious smart kind of natives and there is rarely any sly and competitive kind of spirit to them, meaning someone who would want to share their knowledge most likely, talk about it to people and things like that, humble energy
22. Ego with what I know and can do is likely to come with people whose mercury aspects sun, they maybe can even make their scores their whole personality probably, there is a chance for this to happen though, so keep this in check maybe
23. Jupiter and Sun aspecting each other is another kind of placement that can give you some kind of pride and ego with what you know or you may actually get really defensive when someone questions your knowledge, however, another manifestation of this same placement is making your knowledge a beautiful part of your persona and sharing this light to most people, unafraid, these people can infact make great teachers.
24. Jupiter/Mercury in 12H people may really be good at deep research and probe, and these skills are again very important for researching and phds
25. Of course the Sag risings, we cannot miss them afterall. Even better if the Sun is in Scorpio or Mercurial signs the ability to pay attention to details and actually learn and teach things from scratch would be crazy.
26. Nadir in Virgo/Moon in Virgo/Moon in 9h or 6h/air or mercury ruled 3H natives may actually have some kind of mother who more so focused on the academic part in their life growing up or their childhood did have a lot of things around excelling academically
27. People with strong and positive mercury placements, or mercury in air houses may really be good at calculation and maths. Or even having an air sign/mercurial sign in air houses can count
---------------------------🖤-----🖤----🖤-----------------------------
28. People who you have an academic rivalry with must have strong aspects to each others mars or pluto or both (there is some detail this point deserves but I am too exhausted I might add an edit here)
---------------------------🖤-----🖤----🖤-----------------------------
29. This also makes me think of people with Pluto in 1st house, 10th house or Scorpio risings, they are 9.9/10 times always competitive, wanting to succeed and be the number 1, not in a toxic way but they really cannot easily see being left behind and if these people are academically inclined (they likely are since they are doing it), they would again want to do their best and be the person who is in some kind of rivalry with you lol
support me on ko-fi :)
paid readings are open xoxo
i have more but im tired af so i might make a part 2 someday, but its been a while since I have posted ngl but thanks for the support you all give me, ilysm

Results from the shinnie test
So reminder for anyone who forgotten or didn't see it a week ago i made a test for shinnies, to know what and who is the average shinnies. This is my first one but i do intend to make one about other character one day. The results came and i made some silly math and schematic representation of the vote.
Question 1: What is your gender identity ?
We can see that the poll was one in majority by enbies. I've counted and more than 64.2 % of the poll is constituted of queer identity without counting the questioning poll because if we count it too then that would make 77.4. One thing that shocked me was the lack of trans women, where were you girls?!!!
Winner: Nonbinary
Question 2: What is your age ?
So i predicted it, the yttd fandom consist mainly of teen and young adults, but i'm happy that a majority of the shinnies are between 15 to 18, but still there is a majority of 10 to 15 years old in the shinnie fandom since they are second. Also to the two fetuses that voted here(under ten) vanish, please you newborns!!
Winner: 15 to 18
Question 3: Are you neurodivergent ?
I mean were talking about shinnies, like people who relate to shin, so mostly autistic goobers. And the big maybe part come from the fact that a lot of them are on the younger side so they didn't get an official diagnosis.
Winner: yes
Question 4: Do you have a physical illments ?
Just gonna say it i don't have physical issues i just have no muscles and i suck so hard at sports. I know most shinnies are just like me, don't lie. Also for a minute i thought of doing a "do you have a iron/vitamins deficiency poll", it would have probably have a higher vote in yes since i mean....... shinies you know.....they....we.. You know.
( i have iron deficiency........😭)
Winner: tie between yes and no
Question 5) DO you have a job?
If you said yes as adults honestly where are you working? I know most of the no adults are probably in school considering the 18 to 25 ratio in the second question. And to the minors who work already kudos to you, you are the superior shinnie!
Winner: no i'm a minor
Question 6) Are you on the geek/weeb/ tech savy spetrum ?
The thing that chocked me in that poll is the people who aren't any of these. I'm a big geek so a niche rpg video game is exactly my style, weebs can appreciate the mix of original ideas with some anime archetype in the game, but the people that have none of this like how did you find this game ? Yttd is pretty niche honestly, so normies finding this game is pretty insane
Winner: Two of them
Question 7: Are you good at sports ( lmao)
This is a shin poll what did you think?
Winner: No (lol)
Question 8) Are you a dumbass like shin in social situations?
So personally i'm like him in some situation but most of the time i have learned something he clearly did not get, backing down instead of doubling down the stupidity and lies.
So in conclusion: The average Shinnie is a nonbinary, 15 to 18 year old, neurodivergent, either physically ill or not, doesn't have a job ( since they're teens), is a nerd, sucks at sports and of course is a little dumbass like shin.
This was pretty interesting to do! So if you have most of these traits you ARE the average shinnie.
Here the link to the polls if somebody wanna watch the exact results
And if you have an idea for another character please inform me.
#yttd#your turn to die#kimi ga shine#shin tsukimi#shinnies trying not to be queer challenge impossible#stupid ass poll made by a stupid person

Y'all annoy me. Everyone has a dissertation about how "girl dinner" and "girl math" are infantilizing because not cooking dinner and being bad at math shouldn't be attached to being a woman. But Y'all don't know what these things are.
Girl math is NOT being bad at math. It's the series of justifications you do to convince yourself to buy something or that buying something is acceptable. In a world where a lot of women are taught that spending money is a weakness of their gender while they also make less money in a time of economic down turn, buying something just because you enjoy it can have a lot of guilt attached. So girl math isn't just being bad at budgeting or even being bad at math. You can have a great budget, be incredibly savy with money, and still do girl math. Because it's really about assuaging the guilt you feel when you do buy something just to make you happy.
"Girl Dinner" is NOT an unhealthy dinner. It is a dinner of small things that attempts to be nutritionally balanced. Living alone is hard and cooking for yourself every night is harder. Most women have a complicated relationship with food made worse by millions of trends like "what I eat in a day" showing off gorgeous home cooked healthy meals. Girl dinner is a low-effort attempt to try to eat something that will fuel you without exhausting you. Deli meat with cheese and crackers could be girl dinner. A take out haul could not be girl dinner. Mac & Cheese with cucumber slices might be girl dinner. Just ordering pizza could not be.
Both of these terms are used to describe the shared experience of womanhood and the guilt that permeates it. Because being a woman comes with so many conflicting notions, every decision seems to be wrong. You end up justifying everything and then those justifications don't align either. These are not infantilizing terms, they're merely trends that help women to feel less alone.
And if these experiences seem completely foreign to you, that's great, but you should probably acknowledge that if you hate everything popular, you're probably an outlier and your experience-based analysis shouldn't be applied to everyone else. Maybe just don't shit on something just because you don't get it.

People seem to think the only problem with tik tok is that it's chinese spyware. Which yes alone should be reason to not use it but some people are fine with that.
However it's also a grooming app designed to get young women to do increasingly pornographic things with a boil the frog method. Social conditioning by the algorithm and attention feedback encourage more and more provocative behaviour. It's also a gateway to pornography for young boys who are just starting to wonder why they like the way some of these young women are dancing so much...many of whom will likely be using the platform to also shill their porn accounts and wont be hard for increasingly tech savy kids to get their hands on.
Not to even mentioned the ideological grooming, or the fact that in China the algorithm feeds them nothing but math and science and interests that better them, while here in north America and the west in general we get nothing but inane horsehit and degeneracy fed to us.
It is not just spyware it's a weapon aimed at the mind.

Oh! My wife! Love that woman, her name’s Savi, she’s a dragonborn. I met her when I was traveling Avantris, she was working at a butcher’s shop for 12 hours a day for barely a copper. I knew the second I saw her that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her.
She’s a kind soul, ever the optimist. Even with all the back breaking work, she said ‘it could be worse’. She used to be a thief before she was a butcher, and she used to be a butcher before she was my wife.
*She laughs again, clearly madly in love with his wife, you’ve opened a can of worms.*
I spoiled that woman, she deserved it. We ran a little shop out of our house selling things I collected before we settled down. She took care of the money, I was never one for math. Three brilliant women in my life and I can’t count to a hundred!
*He smiles as he listens to Bait, letting the happiness that clearly exudes from her to quell his sour mood. He measures the orc around the waist, around the chest, around one thigh and then the other.*
She sounds like a beautiful soul, I extend my congratulations to you. And also my condolences, for their untimely loss. They all must miss you dearly.

Perry closes the front door and announces that she's home. Taking off her sneakers, the petite girl notices the set of black boots that seem familiar, but she doesn't question it and decides to go to the kitchen. Perry opens the cabinets, noting that they only have one bag of baking flour and that she needs to go to the start to get more along with other items. Walking to the fridge, Perry stops walking and notices Savannah sitting in their dining room with Justice next to her. The pink-haired girl pouts, annoyed that they ignored her greeting, but she's curious about Savannah. Perry smiles as she skips over to them, finally getting their attention.
Perry: *cheerful* Hey, Savy!
Savannah: *laughs* Hey, Perry.
Justice: Hey, how was play practice?
Perry: *smiles* Pretty good. What're you doing here, if you don't mind me asking.
Justice: *chuckles* Wow, that was so smooth.
Perry:*pouts* Shut up! *looks at Savannah* Please don’t be mad.
Savannah: *amused* Nah, I’m not mad. Honestly, there isn’t much to say that I’m a dumb bitch in chemistry and Justice’s my tutor.
Perry: *grins* You got the best tutor ever! Justice’s amazing in science and math.
Savannah: *giggles* Math too? My god, he’s such a nerd!

Underrated aspect of Phineas and Ferb is how all the main characters' friends are just as impressive as they are.
Baljeet is the guy they ask to check their math sometimes. Buford is not only profoundly physically strong, but always seems to have some esoteric knowledge, skill, or piece of equipment for the occasion. Isabella is the leader of a whole squad of tiny badasses who I would want on my side in any apocalypse. Even Irving seems to be extremely tech-savy.
This isn't a show about a couple of special boys and all their hangers-on, it's a show about a whole group of children who are going to grow up and change the fucking world.
(and also an anxiety-riddled teenager learning to find her own strength and potential, and also a deeply traumatized man slowly finding healthier ways of dealing with it with the help of his nemesis/parole officer/best friend, and also about a whole host of fascinating secondary and tertiary characters who can just always make a scene or episode a little bit better, and)

Studying Tips for People with ADHD
Your emotional state dictates how motivated you are to study
Positive emotional state .. hyper focused, easy to retain material
Negative emotional state .. easily distracted and hard to retain, let alone connect information together.
Read ahead
Write your own notes
Create a book with from your own notes
Create questions to ask the instructor
Update your notes during the lecture
Externalize examples, where possible.
Create visual examples
Use a 3 ring binder to build your book
Use loose leaf paper to update book pages as needed.
If you are savy enough, transcribe your notes into a computer and print them.
Use an electronic tablet to write your notes into.
... I use a MobiScribe ... It has the longest battery life available, and uses a paper white screen, that is also back lit.
Using pen and paper involves more brain cells in the memorization process than does recording and listening.
Send your notes to the instructor or a TA or Tutor for review
Print QR codes for important websites so that you can link to them via phone quickly.
Locate websites that explain various topics you need.
Do the home work assignments.
Many sites are now providing the steps to complete the assignments so that you don't have to rely on the instructors notes.
Math .. check slader dot com
Relate the material to existing knowledge you have as best as possible.
Reorganize the material so that it makes sense to you.
... As I'm a computer programmer first, I try to reorient math into programs, and build graphs using HTML and JavaScript ...
Identify the holes in your knowledge by doing the homework before the lecture.
Work through problems pre and post lecture.
Create a quiz for yourself to test your knowledge of the material just before a test.
Teach the topic to others, if you can, even if it's through a youTube channel.
Instructors show ... Technique, Strategy, Theory and Process ... but only test on 1 of these 4. Identify which of these and study for those types of tests.
Technique .. is a method by which to solve a specific problem
Strategy .. is a method by which you figure out which technique you should use to solve a problem.
Theory ... used a lot in math based subjects ... requires the student to derive technique or processes by invoking logic to move through a series of steps to get from one technique to another.
Process ... is the steps needed to complete a task.
... ex of process .. bake a cake
.. ex of technique .. how to sift the flower to insure a light and fluffy cake
... ex of strategy ... different types of flower you can use to bake a cake, or other ingredients
... ex of theory .. what makes cakes light and fluffy
What ever time the instructor thinks you need to complete the home work assignments, triple it. Esp, if it's a topic you can't readily relate to existing knowledge.
Play the right music while you're studying
Play the same music while taking a test
If your instructor allows for notes during tests, curate you notes specifically to solve the problems on your pre test quiz
Use Prep Quizzes to determine how much time you need to complete problems.
Use friends and reminders to prompt you to study
Join a study group
Doodle
Study while walking or cleaning or doing something physical, if needed
Keep snacks and sweets near by to feed your brain sugar and caffeen
Take rewarding breaks, like eating chocolate after studying through a difficult problem.
Use a white board in an empty room to explaining your subject to an invisible audience out loud, writing major concepts on the board in different colors.
Experiment with WHERE you study
Cars can be great places to study .. comfy seats, surround sound, temperature controlled

A day in the life of savannah mars: 6 years ago
Waiting for the bell takes foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. If there's one thing I hate about this country, it's the forced schooling. Who gives a crap about what biomes are where or the history of whatshisname. Playing with the pin on my school blazer and tapping my pencil on the side of my desk I watch the clock.
For lunch today we're supposed to have pasta and alfredo sauce. Danny is gonna be distracted by the pasta so hopefully I'll have a chance to sneak off with my boyfriend Jake. We're trying to be hush-hush about it since the last boyfriend I had ended up getting scared away. Though, that was freshman year and he was a senior. Now I am 16 and he's 18 so it's not as big of a difference.
Plus Danny is the last one in high school so it's not like they can all find out. But anyways, Jake's a first year in college now he's studying buisness which means he's gonna be super rich and is math smart. He's told me himself about something relating to investments? Anyways it's gonna make him rich, which means my parents will be totally cool with us getting married despite our ages. We've already planned it for next month. It's gonna be in Vegas and he'll get the drinks for me!
When I came home both Daniel, Dan, mom, and dad were waiting for me on the couch. Danny joined them in their judgy stare.
"So, your father and I got a text from Danny today. Saw you kissing some older boy instead of being in class?" Mom said.
My heart dropped. He couldn't have? We were so careful. Plus Jake hadn't gotten rich yet. How would they approve of him? Of us?
"No." I mumbled.
"No?" My dad spoke up.
We sat in silence for a moment before I shouted "His name is JAKE and we're getting married!"
Suddenly all three of my brothers started laughing. "What! He said he loves me! We're planning it already!"
Dan sighed before getting up and walking over to me. "Jake right? Used to be on the football team, goes to Labrador uni now?"
I nodded. Dan was the one who usually had my back, but his tone made me nervous. He handed me his phone from his back pocket where he had a chat going from his friend Brad. Brad was the older brother of Hunter who was best friends with Jake. The chat had a screenshot of a convo between Jake and Hunter.
Hunter: Vegas next year ayeeeee?
Jake: Yeah! Gotta bring Savy tho for thr first few days. Getting "married" "laid" then having a sick bachelors night. In that order.
Hunter: bruh I think bachelors before getting married. Also why u gon marry a chick with A cup tits?
Jake: Nah man. Think, not really getting married. Hire one of those fake ass pastors make her think its the real thing, get laid, leave her at the hotel then u guys come up and we'll have a big bash.
Hunter: 🍆🍆🍆🍆🍆
Can I get in on this? Virgin pussy gonna be tight yo.
My face burned and I started to cry. I couldn't take the stares. I was sure Dan wouldn't have shown the others that but I felt like a fool. I ran off to my bedroom and cried into my pillows, blocked Jake, and cried myself to sleep.
Jake was later beat up by three brothers. Dick broken.
