I've never been one

to believe in magic,

even when it's all around me.

It's in the laughter of a child.

A kiss from a lover.

The purring of a kitten.

A hello from a friend.

In the words of a really good book.

A smile from a stranger.

In a favorite song.

And wrapped in hugs from family.

When I stop and think about it,

I suppose magic is everywhere,

whether I believe in it or not.

Home-made Snickerdoodles. They are delicious. My only problem was not having enough colored sugar to roll them in. So they got rolled in regular sugar, the tiny bit of red sugar I had, and cinnamon. Anyone want one while they are still warm?
