TOURNAMENT PARTICIPANTS
Greetings, everyone, our contestants have been finalized, and I want to provide a certain opportunity before the preliminaries begin. Namely, to provide additional propaganda for competitors in need of it. So, I have created a form to collect this new propaganda, and a list of both preliminary and non-preliminary participants under the cut. An asterisk next to a name indicates they have fewer than three pieces of propaganda, which is the amount that will be included in each poll. This form will be open for the duration of the tournament. You can make as many submissions you want for any character.
NOTE: The order of participants does not reflect the bracket matchups. Preliminary matchups will be announced next week, and the complete bracket will be announced after the preliminary round is finished.
UPDATE: Additional characters have been added in bold because I failed to fill out the bracket by counting incorrectly. One has been added to the preliminary round, and the others are regular competitors.

Fictional Weapon War Round 3
Tumblr media
Gungnir (Symphogear)
Comes from a spear owned by Odin that is said to never miss and always kill its target
Fragments of this gear are imbedded in the area near Hibiki's (the user) heart
Every time she activates the system, the fusion between her body and it increases
This also caused Hibiki to sometimes enter a berserker rage
Can be used as a sword, but mainly serves as a lance or spear
Can clone itself and spin like a drill to create tornados or whirlwinds
Baby 5 (One Piece)
Baby 5 is a member of the Donquixote pirates
The devil fruit she ate, Buki Buki no Mi, lets her transform all or parts of her body into weapons
This includes a giant sword, a sickle, a pistol, a rifle, a cannon, and even a missile
If her body is broken apart by the weapon she turns into (like a bomb exploding) then her body will reform
Martin the Warrior's sword (Redwall)
Used to maintain peace and defend Redwall Abbey from foes
Has been passed down to many mice (?)
Mod comment:
Sometimes, I think the Piecemaker matchups are funny just because it's such a big weapon in comparison to most of the other contestants. This is next level though.
Also, I did not start Symphogear. I chose to watch Black Clover.

I haven’t engaged with Fate in years because ughhhh but let’s combine what I remember with my warhammer kick
Celestine is a counter guardian if that still works in the Grim Dark Future, fuck knows what class
Yarrick is warped by the Ork’s belief field; unorthodox class, legend of Dracula sort of thing, who knows
Turns out Goge Vandire was a sympathetic saberface a la Nero, you just know that’s the sort of thing they would do
No most space marines are not able to be heroic spirits/servants, nor even most custodes. The Primarchs are (or are some sort of chaos equivalent I can’t be bothered to remember the complex lore). Robby and Lion can be temp-summoned before zapping back into stasis like Artoria supposing this is before M42
The bananas are the sort of guys where the narrator goes “oh no! Each of these soldiers is as powerful as a servant!” and one duels a character or two in single combat, but then later you cut through em in a dramatic fight. Space marines range from ‘powerful enemies most humans can’t handle and need their servant to fight seriously’ all the way up to that sort of ‘can take a servant/HS on defensively or if their personal abilities cause a good matchup’ tier that bazett and ciel used to be in
Sigismund is a Heroic Spirit though, as are the Legion of the Damned. Ditto Valdor if he’s actually dead. Dante should be but he is, of course, somehow still alive. Also Kesh as an Assassin just to annoy people. Her Noble Phantasm is Bomb
Uhhhhh
Creed brings the souls of everyone who died at Cadia like a futuristic Ionioi Hetairoi
Cain is either an Assassin who can act like a Saber through skill and slipperiness a bit like Kojiro, or a Saber relying almost entirely on the class attributes and panicking under the surface. Either way his NP involves Jurgen’s melta.
Xenos entries include Farsight (any one of Saber, Archer, Rider, Shielder or maybe even Berserker) or they would except he isn’t dead. Aun’va, who is deader than a doornail, is either an unorthodox Caster with illusion AIs and super-charisma or a Ruler with much the same.
Zandrekh, who is kind of dead, shows up with his Command Barge as a Rider. Orikan is a Caster ofc. Eldrad would be too but I have no idea what he’s up to
Trazyn is very noticeably not a servant but he does end up with command seals and summons one

So recently reading an interesting/disturbing post/article on the Franklin Expedition and rewatching the Helluva Boss shorts have combined to produce this random little brain fart of an idea:
Who do you think wins a fight between the racist, xenophobic murder penguins from Mission: Antarctica, and the fucked-up monster polar bear from that one book/show about ‘What if the Franklin expedition had a fucked-up monster polar bear?’
Personally my money’s on the penguins. If for nothing else than by sheer weight of numbers.
Heck, while we’re at it let’s expand these matchups:
How well do the bunch of unhinged, murderous xenophobes fair against the unhinged, murderous xenophobes who happen to be penguins?
I.M.P. vs Fucked-Up Monster Polar Bear?
And finally; three imps vs. two ships worth of British dudes high off their asses on lead-poisoning.
Well for round one I’d say the Franklineers don’t even last long enough to start their Donner party. Like I imagine the penguins take one look at those Englishmen and are immediately infuriated that anyone else would DARE try to be more racist and xenophobic than them and massacre the lot on sight. Heck, maybe the penguins then try and get the ships free of the ice so they can sail out onto the open sea and make war on the English.
As for I.M.P. vs F.U.M.P.B., while it’s not an easy fight by any estimation I do think our imps come out on top. Maybe they need to call in Loona for some extra muscle/rip-and-tear. Like yeah, that bear is tough, but it also has to contend with armor-piercing sniper rounds from Moxxie, shotgun blasts from Blitzo, AND a Millie likely in full feral-murder-gremlin mode going all stab-happy on it with a knife.
Alternatively, maybe Loona in full-on berserker-mode 1v1’s the thing? This one is entirely due to my bias of wanting to see Loona do cool shit :D
Finally we have our imp trio vs. the two ships of loony, cannibal-happy british dudes, AKA; I.M.P. getting a bulk order with the promise a very nice payday.
The funny thing about this matchup is that I feel like each side has an entirely different perspective as to what’s going on.
For the Frankliners, this is (more of) a horror story as they are gradually being picked off one by one in brutal fashion by a mysterious, unseen killer who appears suddenly to brutally slaughter one or two of them, then just as quickly vanishes without a trace.
Meanwhile, while Blitzo, Moxxie and Millie might LIKE to go all inverse-doomslayer on the hapless would-be colonizers, there is the little problem of it being REALLY FUCKING COLD. So they instead decide to take it easy on this one, using their Asmodean crystal to just pop in and take out one or three guys before popping back to the comfort of Hell for a few hours/days, rinse and repeat.
And the best part is that when our heroes pop in to take out a couple guy only to find that they’ve already been whacked by a third guy who also seem to be trying to eat them for some weird reason, our imps realize these humans will just kill themselves for them! Now they just need to pop in every other day or so, whack one or two dudes, and the rest will do their job for them.
Admittedly, after a few days the remaining humans are looking pretty gross and possibly a bit undead, so Blitzo, Moxxie and even Millie start taking out their targets from a distance. Thankfully at this point they don’t really even need to be killing them directly. Like one of them just saw Moxxie perched on the mast, screamed about demons and angels, then immediately stabbed one of his mates to death and started eating him.
So by the last few days, Blitzo, Moxxie and Millie are just popping in to go ‘OOGA-BOOGA’ a few times and letting the job take care of itself.

So let's get this out of the way because I'm sure this blog is giving you many questions, namely why and how?
Well the short answer for why is that it's something I've been thinking about for a very long time and honestly I really need a creative outlet. As for the how? Hoo boy it is genuinely shocking how powerful Donald Duck is if you put in the research. To start, he served in the navy meaning he has at the very least basic combat and firearms training. On top of that he has standard toon physics which are unique to most western animated characters which means he can easily shrug off most attacks that would normally hospitalize people including being cut in half, taking explosions point-blank, falling from indeterminately tall heights.
He also has been shown to draw upon a berserker rage which can amplify his strength and speed to monstrous levels as is often showcased in classic cartoons but was given the most focus in the 2017 Ducktales cartoon in which his rage was often the deciding factor in the matchups he was subject to throughout the show. But that's only scratching the surface because his strength rockets from a provincial threat to a world threat if we choose to take his Kingdom Hearts incarnation into account. Donald from Kingdom Hearts is a powerful spellcaster with an arsenal of offensive spells reaching up to the -za level in terms of power including the very powerful Flare and its variants which is considered an "Ultimate" spell. Already an impressive feat in itself but Square Enix decided to massively buff this duck in Kingdom Hearts III where it was revealed he is capable of casting the spell Zettaflare. Zettaflare is a spell on a level unseen in any other Square Enix game and the only other person to use it was drawing directly from the power of the dragon god Bahamut. Now granted, casting that spell took enough energy out of Donald to make him fall unconscious but the very fact he was able to cast it already places him as one of the strongest Black Magic users Square Enix has ever created. Because of the shocking level of power displayed by Kingdom Hearts Donald, most of these matchup analyses will be divided into "Could they beat regular Donald" and "Could they beat Kingdom Hearts Donald." Lastly despite the level of seriousness with which I take these matchups, always remember at the end of the day that this blog is not meant to be taken seriously and has a miniscule amount of bias. If the difference in power between Donald and an opponent is close, and I think it would be funnier to see Donald Duck emerge victorious, I am more likely to lean in his favour. Just remember that none of these characters are real, nor are any of these scenarios likely, so please don't get upset with me if your favourite character is just objectively weaker than Donald Duck.

The BG3 Match-ups is such a cool idea! :D I'll absolutely give it a try.
My Tav is a human berserker barbarian by the name of Lionheart. An absolute unit of a man - the size of a small house as far as most are concerned. Moustached and bearded, with a blonde mane of locks that cascade down his shoulders and arms that look like they could embrace the whole world. And knowing his demeanor they probably do.
He's the definition of a gentle giant. If only you replaced "gentle" with "nonchalantly flamboyant" or "gregarious to such a degree, looking at his face feels like looking into the sun." With his age came a certain wisdom - he is straightforward, open and effortlessly charming. Expect loud, booming laughter, expect bear hugs, expect flowery words of sage advice. All his movements are big swooping motions unafraid of taking up space - he walks like he always knows where he's going, speaks as though his words are to be etched in stone. Whether it's this sense of safety he exudes or his unflinching friendliness, it really helps in dealing with all those other skittish feral cats of characters.
He used to be a village head before the tadpole. Though he does his best not to show it, he feels a tremendous amount of guilt for having to leave it behind. That might be his biggest flaw - in trying to position himself as this solid bedrock for people to rely on, he will actively hide his injuries, both physical and emotional. Something that he'd firmly advise others against doing.
He will use his skills to manage the camp, plan, cook, be a mighty pat on the back or a listening ear if so asked.
But that's where his sunny disposition stops and his barbarian class begins - he will charge and slaughter an enemy without a second thought, the moment they establish themselves as a danger. There's no ego to it, no ideological hestitations. If he can't defend his people back at the village, he will fearlessly do so for the ones he has found. Be it virtue or penance, it's moments like these, with roars and grunts and blood splattering around, that his name begins to make perfect sense.
Privately he's a fan of novels, poetry, music. No need for prestige, he values the simple things in life. Still, he does grow to deeply miss the songs and campfire dances thrown during various celebrations in his village. Maybe once he returns he'll get to see them again.
A/N: Oh my gosh, the entire time I was reading I was picturing a Thor-looking guy wearing a flower crown in his hair- somebody both large and strong but also soft and beautiful! @metkapop Your Tav sounds amazing! As for a matchup for you… I think Lionheart would best be matched with Astarion (Male) or Karlach (Female)!
Tumblr media
Astarion would be a great match for Lionheart! Even though they may not look super compatible on paper, I think Astarion would really for him. Because of Lionheart’s stature and demeanor, Astarion would feel loved and protected. And in return, he’d be a very loyal, very cunning partner for Lionheart to have.
Astarion may have been intimidated by Lionheart initially, as he’s more of a scrappy guy, not a fighter. But as Astarion comes to know Lionheart, and understands that he is, as you say, really a ‘gentle giant’, I think Astarion would let his guard down. He probably ends up feeling protected as well, with all that muscle shielding him in fights. Also, thanks to how open and affectionate Lionheart is, Astarion probably finds himself opening up to the idea of receiving affection and attention again, having been denied it for so long. Astarion is sort of like a skittish cat, or an abused dog that's been kicked one too many times- so the fact that Lionheart can ease such creatures helps foster their relationship immensely.
Astarion loves Lionheart’s appearance. Mainly because it’ll make anyone think twice about messing with them, but also because Astarion thinks Lionheart’s long golden hair is gorgeous- like sunshine in braid form. He’s a little on the fence about the mustache, just because it tickles a bit at first when they kiss, but Astarion comes to love it just as well as he loves the rest of Lionheart.
Astarion also feels a fair share of guilt- for all, he’s been forced to do under Cazador. He has so many regrets and often blames himself for all that’s befallen him and his victims. He doesn't like to talk about it, and he does have a self-deprecating streak but that’s where Lionheart comes in. Together they can confide in each other, about how they feel responsible- and they can reassure one another, that the things that happened outside of their control are not their fault. Their consciousnesses may be heavy, but the two of them carrying that weight together helps lighten the load.
Astarion’s a huge fan of the fact that Lionheart is skilled in many areas, as he’s been forced to sort of only work on the charm or manipulation aspect of things. The fact Lionheart is so good at planning managing and leading puts Astarion at ease. He feels less of an inclination to have to make up for a lack of skills with Lionheart being able to take the reigns on most things. Of course, Astarion prefers Lionheart leave any lockpicking or lying up to him, as he is the expert in those things.
Astarion quite admires Lionheart’s skill on the battlefield. Again, he feels protected, and for once, he can rest easy at night knowing his lover won’t let anyone hurt him ever again.
Astarion quite likes the idea of retiring to Lionheart’s village after all of this is said and done. Of course, he’d need a couple of things- preferably a large house or manor to call theirs, and an easy lifestyle, he’s not going to go work on the farms or raise chickens or anything of that sort. But the idea of living in a community where everyone is healthy and… well, happy, yes that sounds good to him. And being the partner of the village chief, well, that would just come as a bonus. ;)
Tumblr media
Karlach is also a great match for Lionheart! They are both strong and loud and very much, ‘wear-thier-heart-on-thier-sleeves’ sort of people. They’re practically two peas in a pod!
Karlach thinks Lionheart is handsome as hell, especially with how he can match her in a battle of strengths, but of one of happiness as well. Being joyful is something she finds extremely attractive, and Lionheart is certainly adept at that.
She loves how she doesn't have to dial it down, or make herself smaller to be with him, that he loves her boisterous and hot personality. She’s so grateful to have found someone who doesn’t expect her to simmer down, or remove parts of herself in order to be with them. Lionheart loves her as is, for who she is, her past and infernal engine and all, and it makes her stomach flutter just thinking about it.
Because Karlach is also a tank, she’s used to hiding her injuries or doubts from her soldiers and fellow fighters, but Lionheart sees right through that facade. He tells her it's okay to slow down and insists on bandaging her up whenever she gets hurt. He asks that she do the same for him, that way, they’ll hold each other accountable in that regard.
Additionally, Karlach is captivated by the way Lionheart fights. It’s so brutal and primal, it gets her hot under the collar. I mean, the way he charges his enemies, the way he tries so fiercely to protect the camp, even her, despite her being a barbarian as well- it makes her head spin. She thinks he’s beyond incredible, and she can’t believe she’s so lucky as to have gotten him for a lover.
And oh boy, Karlach cannot wait when all of this is over, when the Brain is defeated and their parasites and cured, and she’s free of her infernal engine, when she can go back to his village with him. She’d love getting to dance around the campfire, hells, she loves getting to dance pretty much anywhere, but it’s especially fun to do it with the one she loves the most.
Karlach thinks a nice peaceful retirement is something she’d grow quite accustomed to. Maybe have kids of their own, or adopt some. She spends her free time dreaming of the future she and Lionheart will have together. She can’t wait for that dream to become her reality.

This blog's main verse is now canon divergent; as in my headcanon, Enchanted Neinhart was defeated by the Strauss Siblings.
After Elfman and Yukino regroup with Team Natsu, Mirajane and Lisanna, and Sabertooth - following the reshuffle of Universe One, Neinhart steps forward and confronts the lot of them. Instead of being disrespectfully oneshotted by Natsu like many other villains, in his enchantment he decides to revive not God Serena, but Igneel to stifle Natsu and Erza-sama. This is short-lived as the Strauss Siblings gang up to beat him out, isolating him from the group.
Neinhart in his enchantment uses Historia of the Dead and brings back Rustyrose, Azuma, Seilah and - Jiemma, using Yukino's memories. Despite the threat, Rustyrose and Azuma are defeated by Elfman and Lisanna respectively; showing their power's growth from back then correlating with the Historias being weaker versions of their originals. However, Jiemma proves too strong for Yukino to defeat even as she is - and in order to prevent Seilah's Macro from controlling Elfman again, Mirajane is forced to use her own Mirajane Seilah to counter Macro with Macro.
Leaping to save Yukino, Elfman uses his Beast Soul - and having seen their pasts by now, Neinhart uses this opportunity to bring out another Historia, using an alternative form of the spell and boasting that "Takeover wizards have the worst matchup against me". Elfman's The Beast is brought out as a Historia by itself, forcing Elfman into berserk mode - thus making Mirajane and Lisanna relive the terror of their failed S-class mission. This is augmented further by Seilah's Macro and Jiemma still being active.
Tumblr media
Mirajane is overpowered by all three enemies and in an attempt to save her, Lisanna steps in to try and stop Elfman - and tragically gets swept again by his attack, re-enacting the exact way she "died" years ago; breaking Mirajane's heart. Mirajane's rage tops and she uses her Takeover to bring out Mirajane Mard Geer, which Neinhart attempts to use as well, but is overwhelmed by the amount of magic power Mirajane has. She makes quick work of both Seilah and Jiemma, aiming to kill Neinhart next.
Neinhart attempts to summon more Historia, this time opting to revive the Strauss siblings' parents and his own Historia, the defeated Spriggan. Though before he gets the chance, out of nowhere Lisanna steps in and kicks Neinhart up and in the followup, Elfman's "berserker" The Beast smashes him down and knocks him out cold. Mirajane realizes Elfman has regained his reason and asks what happened - and Lisanna and Elfman explain that they staged it up.
Lisanna trusted Elfman to overcome his literal inner demon after all this time, and also trusted him to understand her plan. Elfman answered her call accordingly, catching on. The battle with Neinhart wouldn't have ended so long as Mirajane remained protective of her siblings, and using Mirajane Seilah hindered her. As such, they needed an opportunity to get close to Neinhart. In the nick of time before being swept away, Lisanna used her Takeover to turn herself into a bird; using the leverage from Elfman's attack to "get flung" away from the battlefield, far enough to use her distance as a means to sneak up to Neinhart from a blindspot - especially with all his focus remaining on Mirajane.
Mirajane says she will deal with this later, but is grateful that they were alright all along.
The Strauss Siblings don't get time to rest as Jacob Lessio and Ajeel Rama appear and force them to split up - and the rest of the fights play out as canon. With Mirajane fighting Jacob, and Lisanna and Elfman fighting Ajeel.

CW: DEATH BATTLE SPOILERS, FIRE EMBLEM THREE HOUSES SPOILERS AND SEMI-SPOILERS FOR BERSERK.
For people who don’t know me, I’m a loser who absolutely loves Three Houses and Berserk. I'm going to take time to talk about Dimitri VS Guts, because holy fucking shit I love this Death Battle so goddamn much. I was going to make a prediction blog for this fight but didn’t really see the point as Dimitri stomps being brutally honest.
I want to talk about Guts VS Nightmare first before talking about Guts VS Dimitri, as this is the only time I'm probably ever going to mention it: I genuinely dislike the episode.
When it originally came out, how they portrayed Guts wasn’t right at all; the thing I find
genuinely annoying is how is how after that Death Battle was released, people formed this thought that Guts was this Doom Guy/Doom Slayer-type character who slaughters demons for nothing more than sheer hate, which is true… at least at first. But then later on, Guts became-
much more than that due to his hate making him do nothing more than just become a hollow shell who fights only for his selfish desires to fight Griffith and protect Casca, even letting people into his life again and becoming friends with other people.
The story of Berserk went from being about an angry nihilist who fights just to fight, into a story about broken people helping each other in any way they can. So what did Death Battle do for Guts VS Nightmare? Make him just his angry, nihilistic self and not mention how he has changed.
There was also some research-related stuff that had issues, but to be blunt I don’t personally care about if either Guts or Nightmare should have won. If you want the truth of how I feel, Nightmare is so much stronger that the argument of “Guts beats people stronger than him everyday” isn’t really a good argument - not when unlike everyone Guts has ever fought, he's thousands of times stronger than the strongest person Guts defeated.
But that’s the main reasoning on why I don’t personally like Guts VS Nightmare - despite thinking it was okay animation-wise.
Now let's talk Dimitri VS Guts… well kind of.
I wanted to talk about my attraction towards this matchup; as mentioned before, I love both Fire Emblem and Berserk.
Starting with Dimitri: I got into Fire Emblem around the time the GBA games came out, and while I did fall off the games, I got back into them when Awakening was released.
With Berserk, I got into the manga around middle school after I was talking to a friend that I absolutely loved Hellsing and Black Lagoon. To be blunt I didn’t like Berserk at first because I disliked Guts until the time he changed, and to me changed for the absolute best. (I still wouldn't recommend Berserk tho cause....yeah)
Dimitri himself is a character that I absolutely fell in love with, from his story of mental health problems to his desire to change after the events of the timeskip as the redemption arc of sorts
happens. I’ve been wanting to do a "Who’s My Personal Favorite Characters of All Time" list, but I haven’t found any personal time to do so.
Now onto the actual episode with the analysis of Guts- this time, the episode did Guts legitimate justice as a character, as he is treated to much more than his past. With Dimitri, it also did pretty well as there’s not really anything I personally disagree with.
I know there were some people who took issue with the analysis, starting with the fact Dimitri was stated to have magic; however, they also were factoring in Three Hopes, which in that game he was able to use magic. To briefly touch on the animation, I can understand the issue of Dimitri stomping should have ended the fight with the lightning attack shutting down Guts’ armor, though I dislike that possible ending and you'll see why when I get to the actual ending.
Next, let's talk about those who disagree with the Rhea thing- you need to realize something with Death Battle as it's clear you guys don’t do VS Debating stuff: scaling is important, and Dimitri should get the scaling considering Edelgard and Byleth did kill Rhea in Edelgard's route.
There's also the fact that Dimitri kills Edelgard in his route, and also fights a powered-up version of her anyways. Scaling matters in these match-ups.
But onto the animation itself: I absolutely loved it - the back and forth with them becoming more bloodied and hurt, but neither caring due to how they fight. I especially loved the "voices in their heads" scene before Dimitri and Guts power up again. Plus, holy fuck the music is so good,
Brandon Yates did an amazing job with God's Hand.
Now the ending: if the voices scene didn't happen, this would be my favorite part. Dimitri thinks Guts is dead, then all of a sudden he gets up and breaks his lance, but ends up dying because he fought until every drop of his blood was gone. I also love the touch that the Berserker Armor is the reason why he is still standing despite dying. Dimitri realizes Guts fights for those who lost their lives too, and then decides to fight for Guts. Holy fucking shit man, this may be one of my favorite Death Battles of all time.
Closing thoughts, I absolutely loved this episode of DB and the team did an amazing job with it.

The Norway vs France matchup is interesting. We know France used to be a good fighter, and although his fighting skills aren't that good anymore, I think the experience he has could give him a little bit of an advantage. We also know he has a slightly athletic body, relatively slim but with "muscles in the right places" (Hima's words, not mine). On the other hand, we have Norway. Norway is weird, because I don't think I've ever seen anything about his fighting power. We know he sometimes smacks Denmark around (though Den doesn't seem too bothered) and the "vibe" I get from him is that he'd probably kinda ruthless and unfazed in battle, but I don't want to vote based on "vibes" alone. As for his bodytype, he's only slightly taller than France and he seems to be thinner overall. Some people think he could win with his magic, but these fighting matchups don't seem to count magic in, and by that logic England should've won against Canada in a previous pull (tbh I fully believe England would win without magic anyways, but the rest of the fandom seems to think otherwise, so... 🤷). Overall I'm more inclined to vote for France.
As for Russia vs Germany, that one doesn't need arguments. As strong as Germany is, Russia is by far one of the strongest in the setting. He wins easily.
(Sorry if I annoy you with these fight analyses! 😅 I just try to sometimes look at these matchups from a "canon" perspective, and I think they could be useful for some people voting!)
Of course you don’t annoy me! And no magic isn’t allowed, maybe. I’m half and half if I think they would be allowed to use it or not really. The name of the game is they are using everything in their power to win (no weapons) but if magic is an ability they have at their disposal then I suppose they could use it if America and Russia are allowed to use their super human strength I don’t see why England couldn’t bring his magic wand to level the playing fields.
I think it’s perspective really if people want to imagine them using magic then I can’t make them not do that, know what I mean. It’s for fun after all 😌
And yes I agree with everything you’re saying I voted for Norway for that past Berserker energy I don’t think France could handle that tbh lol.

As for other Cassette Beast things:
Apparently the song’s final solution is randomly generated between many different actions and possible locations to perform them.  Which...wow.  I figured it would be static and you just needed to know the full song for it to potentially unlock, but no, they really went for it.  I wonder if that means you can get in there before you’re supposed to if you know all locations and possible actions.  That’d be hilarious, just sequence break to the final dungeon.  They have a speedrun timer, maybe that’s intentional.
The social links apparently can end in romance.  My character is now dating Kayleigh because who else.
I keep holding onto all the Fused Parts I’ve acquired, because now I’m spooked about needing a billion of them later.  They opened a lot of methods to potentially farm it, but still.
I never really attended to the type matchup chart, I tried to remember interactions as I went, but now that I’m looking at it...holy shit, Poison is busted.  Only weak to Fire.  And Miasmodeus, your potential Poison starter, can learn Fire Resistance to halve damage and ignore the secondary effects of Fire.  It’s appropriately poor offensively, with three things gaining beneficial effects from it, and only two types suffering from it, but it answers Astra with Berserk, which I personally love because man fuck Stardigrade.
Apparently the only things that learn Dog Years are the Sanzatime line, Southpaw, and Pombomb line.  Which is.  Not many.  And none of them really get the exact spread of traits I was hoping for, but oh well.  I had thought about using it anyway with a combination of Pity AP and Stab in the Dark with it’s 10% accuracy rate, but none of them can learn it.  So I might entirely ditch the Gambit strategy I was hoping for.  That may be prematurely giving up, but eh.  We’ll see what happens.
