Cherishing Moments...

Here is my Grandmother Evelyn {Mae}. Her memories live in every flower I see. This picture captures a moment in both our lives where we celebrated her 90th Birthday. She was a bright, full of life and experience kind of woman. Her tenderness with her fairy gardens made my heart bigger. I’m so grateful for her to have been in my life, everyday I wake to these moments of thanks. As I live back to this day, I’d like to say to her, “thank you Grandma for all you have done for me. For our friendship, for our connection, for our love. I’m so grateful for the stories you told me about your life before I was born. I was always so curious about your loves in life. The beam of light you have shown for me is a joyous one, for that I am so humbled. This is a precious life we have and I’m committing myself to live for each moment... I made this agreement the weeks I spent with you in your home before you died. Each breath I took I wanted to be a beacon for Spirit to lift you softly. I’m sorry if I did that with any mistakes along the way. I know you’re home now, and gracefully missed now. Thank you Grandma. I love you”
