So I read Mashle: Magic and Muscles the other day. A nice little manga able to wrap up itself in 163 chapters. Love Mash, great protagonist, no notes. Just a perfect autism creature of a character and the hero we deserve.

Nothing says not being able to follow social conventions due to a disability more than desperately not wanting to be there and being completely confused by all this macho action battle Shonen stuff.

Mash is a strong boy, but he doesn’t want to be the strongest boy. He just wants cream puffs. And I think that’s beautiful. I think it’s beautiful that he doesn’t understand all this power scaling stuff and think it’s stupid.
