How do you feel about Team Four Star's Broly

Hilarious. They lampoon the "crying infant" thing and it's a little overdone, honestly. But they also play on his real motivation by having him constantly ask everyone what their power level is.

Also he's on the LGBT spectrum! They make a joke out of Vegeta and Paragus agreeing that "for the sake of the bloodline", Broly can marry "Princess Trunks", which Broly is entirely in favor of. Only to later reveal that Broly is fully aware that Trunks is a man and still wants him.

He's still a sadistic monster and it's played for dark comedy, but they also avoid the pitfall of having Broly be the film's only LGBT rep by opening it on long-established gay couple Karin and Yajirobe's wedding. Editor and one of the three main writers KaiserNeko is a gay man himself so he's usually pretty good about this stuff.

Once he transforms, he more or less becomes the Meme King. Z Broly is a performance piece more than a character and they nail the performance. TFS's usual brand of comedic timing with dire action keeps the fighting from dragging on the way it does in the film, with fun bits like

Goku: I don't wanna tell you how to be the Legendary Super Saiyan but you're supposed to start small and then work your way up. Broly: I am starting small. Goku: Oh, good for you! Holy crap....

It doesn't match the heights of DBS Broly, but it's a good time all around, and one of my favorites of TFS's takes on the movies.

If the bikini armor trope has contributed anything of value to arts and culture, its the limitless potential for humour at the expense of the concept and clever, satirical examinations.

I particularly like how in this one, the armor underneath the illusion is extremely practical, and extremely extra.

Aaand next one in the PNW element avatar animals-- My favorite octopus for water, the ruby octopus. The pacific giant gets all the love, but these guys are so curious and friendly it's ridiculous. I've had one just hang out with me so long while diving, I had to leave before it did. Good little fellas 😭
