LGBT Headcanon Time

This is Rina Tôin from Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch.

I headcanon her as asexual and somewhere on the aromantic spectrum--maybe demiromantic. She gets romantically involved with Masahiro Hamasaki in Season 2 (Pure), but hey, that could just be the split attraction model at work.

Rina is a well-rounded protagonist. She's the most mature of the main trio, shown to be reserved but intelligent and caring; however, she also struggles immensely with guilt surrounding the fall of her North Atlantic kingdom and the capture of Noel (the Arctic mermaid princess). I don’t know if there’s already post about this scene or not, I saw someone mentioning this on other site that’s not in english and I talked with other fans about it as well, but never mind that right now. So this is episode 30 of Mermaid Melody Pure. During Lucia and Masahiro’s convo there are 2 girls in the background as you can see from first 2 screenshots their hair color changed and of course they’re not important to the plot either. lol But that’s alo not that important either. In the next 2 screenshots we see girl gets poisoned by her friend, by drinking and falls down on table in last screenshot while her friend smirks.

Which fans probably didn’t really pay much attaention ,because as I said above, they’re not that important and I believe all people were invested into Lucia and Masahiro’s convo as well.
