HIIII i really wanted to get into billy stuff for a while, but i can never seen to find a good reading guide/reading order. I have read some but idk 😭 i was wondering if you had one to recommend? If you can ofc, just stalked a bit and i love your billy stuff >×<

Honestly im more of a golden age Captain Marvel Jr fan, so I'm more familiar with Freddy's stories than Billy's.

I don't like reading power of shazam or some of the newer stuff because sometimes you need to read other hero's issues to get the full picture, You don't need that much reading order for golden age since most of their stories are not episodic so here's the comics I read( not in order.)

I recommend reading just the Marvel Family if you want to see the main three interacting with one another. I feel like this is the best one to get started if you already know the origins for the Marvel Family.

If not then here it is:

Billy's Origin: Whiz#2

Freddy's Origin: Whiz #25, Master comics #21-22

Mary's origin: Captain Marvel Adventures 18

I Mostly read Captain Marvel adventures instead of WHIZ comics, If you want to get into the iconic Monster Society of Evil/Mr Mind Saga, start in Captain Marvel adventures 22-64. [ Keep in mind, comics back then are 4 stories in one book, the Mr Mind saga is almost always the last story of an issue]

The first Time Billy meets Tawky Tawny: Captain Marvel Adventures #79

Billy's Childhood with his wicked Step-Uncle: Captain Marvel Adventures #88

Captain marvel's Christmas: Captain Marvel Adventures #69

Captain Marvel is tricked to not Fly for a day by a criminal, A funny issue: WHIZ #95

in my opinion, any issue with Tawky Tawny in it is the most fun, here's the list of issues that has Tawny.

For the sake of not making this list too long. I won't mention my favorite issues for Captain Marvel Jr or Mary Marvel. [You could probably tell that Freddy is my most favorite if you look at my drawings]

Birds of Prey - I'm always nervous when non-Wonder Woman related books involve Themyscira stuff. I am still optimistically hopeful. Still think this book looks great. Love the cover and Dinah's placement can mean so much.

Blue Beetle - Not sure how I am feeling about this. Lots of things are happening here, but I feel not all of them are landing right.

Fire and Ice - Comedy book.

GODS - Waiting for things to drop.

Icon VS. Hardware - Top of the issue says it is "Act One" and I am really curious what this means for Milestone. Looking forward for more.

Poison Ivy - The novelty of this book being an ongoing is still nice. Need to play catch up though.

Shazam - Love that we're calling her Mary Marvel again. Again, Sanchez does such nice colors on Mora's art; always something to look forward to.

TMNT - The team being divided is a weird time to get into this book, but getting to 150 issues is nice.

Transformers - I'm not a Transformers fan so I'm going to bow out. Good luck, Skybound.

X-Force - I love that Colossus has an evil brother. Here for it!
