im so bummed because…Sakura probably has no pictures of himself until he came to town and as a person who takes pictures of everyone i know, its like. gotta make up for lost time at some point?

So you realize when looking through your own photo albums with him that he most definitely doesn’t have any himself if his bare apartment is anything to go by it’s now a mission. And any mission need the only the best of the best operatives so you text suo and nirei the next day and ask them to gather all the pictures they have from school, events, or just hangouts, and the three of you make a scrapbook of not JUST him but everyone in town he knows. It’s filled with tickets to movies he’d seen or promotional stuff from the opening of a new bakery in town they went to the first day it opened. You find out quick Nirei is the one who’s kept most of the extra stuff you put in there and that he has a few scrapbooks himself.

It ends up being a big, hulking thing but it’s well put together and there are pictures and items that even you didn’t know existed in it. It was probably a good idea to give it to him alone to because he tears up a bit, not full on crying but not a face he’d want anyone else seeing.

Dear Andrew,

You were the very first character I ever listened to in the Sakuverse and I am so devastated that your story will be closed for good. I feel like I'm not yet ready to say goodbye. You've been one of my comfort characters and your voice always brings me joy. I want to wish you the happiest birthday and I am surely going to miss your voice and story. I want to give you a Scrapbooking page dedicated to you that fits your aesthetic. I hope you and Darling will be together for eternity and find your twin brother, Simon. So long, Andrew Marston. We'll surely to meet again or probably at times. I'll never forget the time that I listened to you ever since the first month of the year. You'll always have a place in my heart.

Em cada página de seu scrapbook, há uma pequena parte do coração de Mary-Louise. Ela mantém o livro escondido debaixo da cama desde os nove anos de idade, temendo ser esquecida por todos assim que morrer. Desde muito jovem, a semideusa criou seu primeiro scrapbook como uma forma de deixar uma marca, contar sua história. Embora não escreva ou edite diariamente, ela o abre para contemplar e agradecer por tudo o que tem todos os dias.

Todas as fotos no scrapbook foram tiradas com a câmera fotográfica que pertencia a Carter. Antes de falecer, o filho de Morfeu adorava tirar fotos de Mary-Louise, sempre acompanhadas de comentários doces sobre a aparência da filha de Zeus. Ela ainda carrega a pequena câmera de filme velha, tirando fotos não requisitadas de seus amigos e de momentos importantes, como a celebração de seu aniversário em julho, quando tradicionalmente faz oferendas aos deuses para agradecer por mais um ano de vida.

No scrapbook, para todos os presentes, Mary-Louise escreve, abaixo de seus nomes, a maior qualidade que vê naquela pessoa ou o que mais admira. É uma maneira de lembrar-se todos os dias de quão sortuda é por ter uma rede de apoio tão segura e farta de amor. O scrapbook é bastante importante para Mary, um símbolo de sua gratidão e uma ancoragem emocional em tempos difíceis.

Ok I’m back 🥲 for all the time I killed not using tumblr I haven’t added a lot of progress into my 2024 scrapbook but this is the final entry of 2023 and it’s of download festival! Like my second home and a good place to eat my bank account, too

Bring me played and I was so so ecstatic about it I saw so many great bands again but the 4 day music fest for the 20th anniversary was cut short bc my bf got really ill and I looked after him n we went back end of day, unfortunate as a lot of the bands I wanted to see were on Sunday but ugh I’m just too good a gf he’s a lucky guy
