Aita for breaking up with my boyfriend over a chess game?

All names are changed for privacy reasons. So for some background, I (M40s) recently divorced my wife, "Tina" (F40s), because she caught me in bed with my now boyfriend, "Will" (M30s), and I decided to finally come out as gay and have a life with him, we've been together for ten months at the time of writing this. Tina and I have a son together, "Joshua" (M11). She recently started a new relationship too, with my former therapist, "Michael" (M40s).

Today Will and I were playing chess, and I was helping him by giving instructions and tips on which moves to make, since I'm better at it than he is. Well, we started a new game and I let him go first. After a few turns, he asked me to let him win and I agreed (Note: I wasn't really paying attention to what he was asking, and I also didn't think he would actually be able to beat me), and he won the game.

Now, here's where I might be the asshole- I lost my patience with him at this point and we both stood up, then I threw several pieces of furniture at him, which I admit, wasn't polite, and I probably could've handled it better, but I wasn't thinking straight in that moment. I then went off and brought him his suitcase, and he left.

To add insult to injury, I later received a letter in the mail, which I opened to find an invitation to Tina and Michael's wedding. I was unaware that the two were engaged and I went to speak to them about it. I may or may not have once again lost my temper and ripped up the invitation I had been sent, and then things escalated and I ended up hitting Tina, which I felt bad about immediately after I did it, but Michael made me leave. This happened in front of Joshua if that makes a difference.

So, AITA?

I feel like the Lesbians know Whizzer better than anyone else (except Marvin) even BEFORE the baseball game. They 100% have gossiped with Marvin for hours and Marvin has described E V E R Y detail about Whizzer. Clothing, facial expressions, his hair, his cologne, you name it Marvin’s probably told the lesbians about it. The lesbians could probably pick out a hex code of the teal shirt (Definitely Pre-Baseball game Marvin’s fav shirt) because Marvin has told them it. Charlotte KNOWS Whizzer when he shows up to the game, in the script book at least (“Dr.Charlotte (disgusted): Where the hell did they get that umpire? Oh, hi, Whizzer” Page 92). Also another note on the baseball game, right after Whizzer shows up Charlotte and Marvin are standing up, once Marvin sees Whizzer he pulls Charlotte down and Charlotte looks at him all confused. Marvin does a little motion with his head and it takes a minutes for Charlotte and Cordelia to realize whose here, and this is their iconic reaction:

So obviously (upon inspection) they know who Whizzer is without ever meeting him (to our knowledge). In conclusion Marvin and Lesbians are Besties and Marvin has told them everything about Whizzer.

You and Marvin falsettos in a relationship, tell me about it

This will be such a loaded answer, so sorry for the incoherence in whatever I'm about to say.

Our initial friendship starts all the way back in highschool, him around 15, me 14. We were just kind of casual friends. Me a closeted queer autistic, him... queer and not good at hiding it.

We grew up not close but, let's say acquaintances. We went on to pursue college, him ending up an advertising executive. I go into criminal justice, leaning towards being an Investigator.

We only rekindle closely after Whizzer's death, me already being friends with Cordelia and Charlotte. Whizzer's death becomes such a sensitive subject, and him and I get close by just co-existing. Many times I'd come over for coffee or tea and we'd sit in silence. Or put on a vinyl and stand around the kitchen. It takes 2-3 years before Marvin realises he even slightly loves me in a romantic manner. He had believed it was only platonic, that he loved me so deeply the way he would Charlotte or Cordelia. But the simple moments between him and I meant so much more than just that.

Kitchen dances, coffee dates, small conversations:they meant the world. In no way would I try to replace Whizzer, not at all. If anything he meant something to both of us. The confession is short and blunt. "I think I'm in love with you"

We take it slow, we don't even call ourselves boyfriends til months later. It's casual, but not in an open sense. Just casual to where we don't take ourselves too seriously. Both coping with ourselves and life. I love him lots ☹️☹️☹️
