My Unofficial Fancasting for The X-Men
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Scott Eastwood, Glen Powell or Brenton Thwaites as Cyclops
Austin Butler or Jacob Anderson as Gambit
Taron Egerton, Karl Urban or Roman Reigns as Wolverine
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Madelaine Petsch as Jean Grey
DeWanda Wise or Anna Diop as Storm
Jurnee Smollett, Nicole Beharie, or Keke Palmer as Rogue
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Trevante Rhodes as Bishop
Peyton Elizabeth Lee as Jubilee
Isabella Sermon as Kitty Pryde
I will likely add more actors to this list once I find more that fit the roles for other X-Men. These are just actors that I feel are underrated and deserve more recognition. Acting wise some of them fit the role or have played similar personality types. And looks wise, I’m sorry they EATTT!!! All the X-Men’s face cards are 10+ and their MCU actors NEED to be the same.

Unpopular opinion. #1
Dormammu is the one who should be the Main Villain in "The Multiverse Saga".
Tumblr media
Arts made by Anthony Francisco and Kevin Maguire.
Warning: English is not my main language, I'm sorry if there are some errors in the text.
_______________________________________________
If Marvel is really going to try to replace Kang as the main villain in the saga, then Dormammu is one of the best options at the moment.
Dormammu is already a multiversal threat in the MCU and has been here since 2016 trying to get revenge against Stephen (The "Anchor" of the MCU, according to Kevin Feige).
Dormammu and Stephen have a long rivalry in the comics, not to mention that the two are very similar in certain aspects, such as their ego, ignorance and pride.
Stephen Strange's greatest love is, literally, the niece of his greatest enemy. Imagine the potential that this could be used to develop their rivalry and even explore what Clea's relationship with Dormammu is like in the MCU. Let you know, I'm a fan of the idea of Dormammu and Clea having a "Father and Daughter" relationship in the MCU, I think it would be an interesting dynamic and would make Dormammu become a more complex antagonist.
Nothing against Doctor Doom replacing Kang in the MCU, because he is one of the best villains in Marvel and is the most likely option to happen. However, my fear is that they will have to introduce him in the middle of the saga and perhaps his introduction will be too rushed, negatively affecting the character's adaptation. Galactus has the same problem.
Dormammu is an easier villain to write in the MCU because he has always been portrayed as a villain who is "Evil for the sake of being Evil." There's no problem with him being like this in the MCU, because that would save Marvel a huge headache if they used Kang or Doctor Doom. Furthermore, there is a way to make simple villains work in the MCU, the High Evolutionary is an example. Villains can be pure evil and still care about certain people, this could be put into Dormammu and explore that side of him a little.
If Marvel wants so badly to adapt "Secret Wars" into the MCU, then there are two possibilities for doing so: They could leave out 2015's Secret Wars and focus on the first Secret Wars (Beyonder), but replace the Beyonder with Dormammu. The other option is to try to adapt the comic "Defenders (2005)", because in that comic, Dormammu managed to use the power of Eternity to recreate the Multiverse in his image. These two options could save 2015's Secret Wars and be adapted in the future with Doctor Doom.
The first Doctor Strange film established that the Dark Dimension is "Beyond Time". This could be used as an excuse for Dormammu to not be affected by Kang's (or the Council of Kangs') manipulations. Furthermore, this would give Dormammu an advantage in eliminating these threats and taking their place as the Main Villain.
_______________________________________________
Well, that was my opinion on who should replace Kang in the MCU. I know this will never happen, because Marvel doesn't realize the potential they are losing by leaving the Faltines aside. I know it's still possible for them to just replace Kang's actor with another actor, but I wanted to base my post on the possibility of the character being completely replaced, because it's more interesting.

We’re nearing the end of Phase 5 for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As such, fans are eager to see what’s in store for Phase 6 of the MCU. As it turns out, Marvel Studios already has a surprise plan in place for the MCU as it crosses into Phase 6.
However, this surprise plan may actually concern some fans of the massive superhero franchise. Though it isn’t exactly a bad thing, Marvel Television executive Brad Winderbaum discussed this plan in a new interview.
According to Winderbaum, the studio will finally begin to produce their shows at a “reasonable cost” instead of the more excessive budgets they’ve been relying on so far. While some fans may be fearful for a loss of quality, Winderbaum assures that it will allow them “a little bit more freedom creatively.”
Here’s what Winderbaum had to say in full while speaking with Variety:
“We are looking to make these shows for a responsible cost. Frankly, it gives us a little bit more freedom creatively when we can bring them in at a reasonable budget.”
He continued to use a Phase 5 series, Agatha All Along, as an example of this. However, it’s not a bad thing, it just means the series relies more on practical effects rather than CGI – which is something some fans have been eager to see anyways.
“Like [‘Agatha All Along’], for example, the show has minimal CG, way less than we’ve ever done before. It’s mostly practical effects, and I think you can feel it in the show.”
Winderbaum confirmed that Daredevil: Born Again is one of the projects being produced with a lower budget in mind.
“[The lower budgeting] certainly holds true with ‘Daredevil’ and our future slate as we look down the pike at ’26 and ’27. That’s certainly the goal.”
However, once again, it’s not exactly a bad thing. Winderbaum explains that it will mostly make them have to use elements including CGI more carefully:
“I think it’s about how you use the effects, as opposed to the scale of the effects. And we’re responding to our own recent history here, and how effective effects really are in increasing the value of a story.”
Fans have certainly been more critical about Marvel Studios and their over-reliance on CGI and spectacle. Perhaps smaller-scale stories, those with an emphasis on the likes of practical effects and clever writing, could be just the thing to win back the critics. Of course, we’ll only know what happens once Phase 6 of the MCU is underway.
Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional Marvel news as we have it. In the meantime, this very well could be a positive step forward for the fan-favorite franchise.

My ideal Avengers: Doomsday cast (alphabetical)
Adam Warlock
Agatha Harkness
America Chavez
Ben Grimm/Thing
Billy Kaplan/Wiccan
Bruce Banner/Hulk
Bucky Barnes
Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel
Cassie Lang/Stature
Clea
Doctor Stephen Strange
Eric Brooks/Blade
Groot
Hank Pym
Hope van Dyne/Wasp
Janet van Dyne
Johnny Storm/Human Torch
Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel
Kate Bishop/Hawkeye
Laura/X-23
Logan/Wolverine
Loki
Love
Monica Rambeau
Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland)
Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic
Rio Vidal/Death
Rocket Raccoon
Sam Wilson/Captain America
Scott Lang/Ant-Man
Shang-Chi
Shuri/Black Panther
Sue Storm/Invisible Woman
Sylvie
Thor
Tommy Shepherd/Speed
Valkyrie
Vision
Wade Wilson/Deadpool
Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch
Wong
Yelena Belova
Not all of these characters should necessarily be equally prominent; that would be impossible. But I think they all should have, at the very least, a small yet significant part in the story.
I think the Thunderbolts, Fantastic Four, and former Avengers and Guardians should split up, mix and match to introduce interesting new group dynamics. Carol and Yelena should each fill the roles for Kamala and Kate, respectively, that Tony filled for Peter. Scott and Thor should each continue to look after their respective daughters, Cassie and Love, as best they can.
Strange, Clea, Agatha, Wanda, Billy, and Wong should be forced to work together to combat the mystical elements of Doom’s threat.
Loki, Sylvie, Wade, Logan, and Laura should all factor into the time-travel/multiverse aspects of the situation.
Adam, America, Billy, Cassie, Kamala, Kate, Laura, Love, and Tommy should all gradually grow into their own across the two movies and essentially embody hope for the next generation.
Ideally, the main characters should be those who are long-established so they can get proper swan songs and send-offs (i.e., Bruce, Bucky, Peter, Sam, Strange, Thor, Vision & Wanda.) These 8 should all serve as leaders within whatever group(s) they land in and ultimately pass the torch.
My ideal Avengers: Secret Wars cast
I definitely believe at least a few of the aforementioned characters will die in Doomsday. (My money is on Bruce, Bucky, Groot, Hank Pym, Janet, Rocket, and Wong.) At least one of the death scenes should feature Rio/Death taking their souls away.
In addition, I don’t feel Secret Wars would be complete without at least cameo appearances by:
Charles Xavier/Professor X (played by James McAvoy)
Erik Lehnsherr/Magneto (played by Michael Fassbender)
Hank McCoy/Beast (played by Kelsey Grammer in The Marvels)
Jean Grey (played by Famke Janssen)
Maria Rambeau/Binary (played by Lashana Lynch in The Marvels)
Marie/Rogue (played by Anna Paquin)
Peter Parker/Spider-Man (played by Andrew Garfield)
Peter Parker/Spider-Man (played by Tobey Maguire)
Scott Summers/Cyclops (played by James Marsden)
Let’s hope we get that rumored Logan & Tobey-Peter interaction!
Also, two essential moments of massive emotional impact in either or both films that need to happen are interactions between Loki & Thor, and between Wanda, Vision, Billy & Tommy.
