I LOVE the Addams family and Twisted Wonderland, so mashing them together just feels right to me.

For @sandbees and @rottenlimepudding for their Yuu Addams headcannons.

(This is more of my own headcannons then an actual story. More below the cut 👇)

Wednesday wakes up to find herself in a coffin, much to her delight. Perhaps Pugsley has finally bested her and buried her alive. What fun! She is proud of her brother. Unfortunately, the noise outside the coffin is making it difficult for her to enjoy it.

Grim opens the coffin to find her awake and Wednesday politely asks that he close the lid and let her enjoy her time in the coffin. Grim is shocked for a moment, but recovers and demands her robes.

Wednesday is a bit taken aback by his request for her to decloth herself and she looks down at her attire. Sure enough, her simple black dress has been changed into a robe with ornate details and an under outfit consisting of a black dress shirt and black slacks. Wednesday finds this a bit odd as she doesn't remember changing her clothes.

Grim opens another coffin nearby and her brother, Pugsley, pops out. Wednesday is surprised by this and so is Pugsley. The two converse for a bit about their new found predicament, questioning who could have done this to them. Grim shouts at them for ignoring him and runs away when he hears voices nearby.

Wednesday decides to follow the cat monster since he seems to know something. She follows him for a bit before they run into Headmaster Crowley, who questions why she is out of her Gate so quickly. Wednesday is perplexed by his statement and questions him, only to be ignored and led back to the Mirror Chamber where she left Pugsley.

The dorm heads are surprised by her appearance, but Crowley proceeds with the sorting ceremony. When the Mirror can't sort either of them or send them home, Crowley is left with no choice but to let the siblings stay in the Ramshackle dorm.

The siblings are immediately taken with their new accommodations, praising everything, from the broken floorboards to the cobwebs and even the Happy Haunts. Crowley is a bit perplexed by their behavior, but lets it go. He makes a deal with the siblings that they can be the groundkeepers while he finds a way to send them home.

And thus begins the Addams Siblings Adventures in Twisted Wonderland.

Wednesday Addams

The eldest Addams sibling, she is smart, cunning, and apathetic, with a penchant for doing very odd scientific experiments. She is fascinated by death and has a large variety of pets back home, including a lion named Kitty Kat, an octopus named Socrates, and a spider named Homer. She is an expert marksman, martial artist, and even experiences psychic visions from time to time. She enjoys experimenting on her brother, Pugsley, who will gladly partakes as her test subject.

Her relationship with many of her classmates is just as strange as she is. Many of the students have a respect for her, since she can easily kick their buts in any category.

🕸️Ramshackle

Grim - she finds him annoying and will more often than not leave him Pugsley's care, since they get along better. She does find his caring side endearing, especially after dealing with the more troubling situations she finds herself in.

The Happy Haunts - she finds their company joyful and likes to listen to their stories of when they were alive, and especially the stories of their deaths.

❣️Heartslabyul

Riddle - they have respect for one another as students and often have deep and meaningful conversations about the books they like to read. Riddle also likes her because she helps him hide from Floyd when he's being annoying.

Ace - they do not get along. They fight a lot and have a lot of different opinions on things.

Deuce - she gets along better with Deuce than Ace. She does, however, dislike his apparent like of a brain.

Trey - he treats her like a little sister, often giving her sweets to taste test when she visits Heartslabyul to talk with Riddle.

Cater - she dislikes him taking pictures of her without her express permission, and has even threatened to break his phone on more than one occasion.

🦁Savanclaw

Leona - the first time a Savanaclaw student tried to mess with her and her brother, she easily beat them up and since then, the whole dorm have kept a clear distance of them. Leona respects her for her strength, but finds her friendship with a certain hunter strange.

Jack - they don't spend a lot of time together due to their different interests, but they like to study together. He reminds her a bit of her friend from her old school.

Ruggie - she finds him interesting and thinks he would be better off without Leona. He respects her strength but likes to keep a clear distance from her like the rest of the dorm.

🐙Octavinelle

Azul - she likes him because he reminds her of her pet octopus, Socrates. She'll offer him the same treats that Socrates likes and even refer to him as Socrates from time to time without realizing it.

Jade - they have a shared interest in mushrooms. They especially like to talk about the more poisonous ones.

Floyd - she greatly dislikes him due to his loud and frankly boorish nature. His nickname for her is Frilled Shark.

🪔Scarabia

Kalim - she finds his need to drag her to one of his parties annoying but does have a bit of a soft side for his naivete. She thinks he needs to experience the hardships in life so that he can grow properly.

Jamil - they have a great respect for each other academically, but she thinks he would be better off without Kalim holding him back all the time.

🍎Pomefiore

Vil - while she does understand the need to take of oneself is great, she dislikes his, frankly, extreme views on beauty.

Epel - she thinks his country accent is somewhat cute and lets him speak naturally around her, since she thinks one should not hide themselves behind a mask.

Rook - their relationship is perhaps the strangest of all. When she found out he was following her around campus, she took her crossbow and shot at him in front of everyone! She warned him that there would be consequences if he kept doing it. Rook was delighted by her marksmanship and thus they started a friendly competition to see who can shoot the closest without killing the other. He refers to her as Mademoiselle Noir.

💀Ignihyde

Idia - a dorm based around death? You have instantly won her friendship. Idia could be less than pleased to see her wandering around the dorm, but she says that she likes it so who is he to argue? Plus, he's more than a little scared of her.

Ortho - he's so happy that his brother has found a friend! Kind of? She likes to ask Ortho questions about his gears and he likes to hear her stories about her family.

🛞Diasomnia

Malleus - he thinks her fascination with the dark side of the world is adorable and is more than happy to answer her questions about the different types of fey in Twisted Wonderland.

Lilia - he sees her as an daughter and will pop by the Ramshackle dorm every so often to make sure the siblings are okay.

Sebek - AN INSOLENT HUMAN ACTING CLOSE TO LORD MALLEUS? THIS CANNOT STAND! She thinks he is loud and annoying.

Silver - he sees her in a sisterly light, though he does find her darker tendences more than a littler concerning. She finds it strange that he falls asleep all the time.

📚NRC Staff

The staff have all tried to confiscate her crossbow before, but she keeps getting it back somehow, so they've given up after a while.

They all look after the siblings and check on them to make sure they are okay. Well, Crewel, Trein, Vargas, and Sam do. Crowley is always off doing his "headmaster duties" as he puts it.

Crewel things her interest with poisons is fascinating and lets her experiment in the lab after classes are over. Supervised of course.

Trein finds her company pleasant and they often talk about history and books together.

Vargas tries to get her to do more outdoor activities, but she always tries to find a way to get out of it.

The siblings think Sam may be a long lost member of their family. They love to visit his store and he has even showed them his family's collection of cursed items.

⚔️RSA

The siblings don't really care for the school's rivalry. They go to the events to cheer on their friends. In their own special way of course ;)

Ambrose the 63rd - they haven't really interacted very much, but she does hold respect for him as an educator and as a headmaster.

Neige - unlike Kalim, she finds his apparent naivete a tad bit annoying and wonders if he just putting on an act.

Chenya - she isn't really bothered by the cat beastman's antics, but dislikes when he decides to make her his target.

The Dwarves - she finds them cute, to a certain degree.

Pugsley Addams

The younger of the two Addams siblings, he is a bit on the dim side, but does have an interest in engineering . He and sister are close and he is a willing participant in her experiments.

Most of the student body is shocked by their relationship. With all their talks of sword fighting, electric chairs, and eating poisonous mushrooms, one would think they are trying to kill each other! They have reassured everyone that it is simply a family tradition.

Floyd calls him Pelican Eel and Rook calls him Monsieur Conoissuer.

Enid Sinclair

Wednesday's friend and roommate from her old school. Enid is the exact opposite of Wednesday; she adores bright colors and is kind and caring. She is very friendly towards Wednesday's new classmates, despite their school's rivalry. She is protective of Wednesday, even though she knows that Wednesday can protect herself. Everyone was shocked to learn about her werewolf form.

Floyd refers to her as Wolf Fish and Rook calls her Mademoiselle Loup.

Yumi Yozakura is the youngest in her family, she has six older brothers.

In the universe of my fanfic “a bloodstained flower” Yumi is the monitor of Ramshackle but in the universe of “Ramshackle Isn't on Fire (Yet)” Yumi is one of the 80 people who live in Ramshackle

some information about Yumi's brothers and the Yozakura family

the Yozakura family.

The family has been known since the Edo era as a family of renowned assassins and ninjas. Over the centuries, the family has modernized but still maintains certain traditions. They now work as spies, preventing sects from dominating the world and committing various other types of crimes.

They are the most influential family in the Japanese underworld (or perhaps the world) and are ranked first in the category of best spy family, among other categories.

The family is currently in its 10th generation and consists of 7 members.

Some of the main characteristics of the family are their dark hair and black eyes. Rumor has it that looking into the eyes of a Yozakura is the same as looking death in the face.

Another striking characteristic is Soumeine, a unique protein found in the family's blood.

This Soumeine can make normal humans become superhumans, and so the leader must be protected at all costs, as she contains the largest amount of Someminine

The order from oldest to youngest are, Ren, Keiko, Aiko, Yuki, Akemi, Seiji and Yumi

according to the family rules (which were written in the Yozakura archive) Yumi is the current matriarch

I will soon make a new POST about the Yozakura family, as many things have been changed since the initial version

The family's former matriarch was killed when the children were young, and their father was presumed dead but is only missing.

Despite their "ordinary" appearance, the Yozakura family is a family with abilities far beyond those of any ordinary human.

Rumor has it that the first leader of the family made a kind of deal with the devil so that she and her children could protect themselves.

The strange abilities have continued to this day. Each child is born with a unique and completely superhuman ability, but in each generation a girl will be born without abilities.

This child without abilities is the one who will be the next head of the family, as she is the one who will continue the Yozakura lineage.

Yumi is the child without abilities of this generation and the current head of the family, at 17 years old. The mission of the rest of the family is to protect the leader at any cost.

Yumi, even without supernatural abilities, is still a force to be reckoned with, knowing 5 types of martial arts, in addition to having great knowledge of poisons and the use of various types of weapons.

Unfortunately, because she was the next boss, she didn't have a normal life, and unfortunately she didn't have many friends, and she couldn't trust people other than her brothers, because murders and kidnappings are common.

Since her blood could be used to artificially create superhumans.

The few friends she had were also connected to espionage or were online friends. The last time she made friends who weren't connected to this work was the first and last time, because they ended up dead and to this day Yumi blames herself for this, since her first friend and his brother ended up dying just for getting close to her (when she arrived at Twisted Wonderland and saw two people identical to her friend and his younger brother, she almost had a breakdown).

A little about her personality

Yumi is a very calm person and doesn't usually get involved in conflicts, but when she does, it's better to run or pray, because she shows no mercy.

Because she was raised in a family that was anything but normal, she isn't afraid of many things, and because of that, it's hard to scare her.

So many years of suffering assassination attempts have given her nerves of steel. So she doesn't usually show much emotion when she goes through a dangerous situation.

She's so silent that she could be right next to you and you wouldn't notice. She's already scared the first-year class a lot because of this. Marina once joked that they should put a bell on her, like the ones they have on cats' collars, so they know when she's around.

She is quite quiet with strangers, or people she is not very close to, but despite being somewhat introverted she has a good level of social battery.

But with people she is already used to, her personality transforms into a cheerful and agitated girl who is a little sarcastic and ends up swearing a lot, or cursing and making some morbid jokes.

She talks a lot, especially about her hobbies, and is a little agent of chaos. She likes to create her own devices, she ended up creating a kind of hologram communication device for the entire first-year class, now they all have a new device, never seen before and other people are a little jealous.

The device is round and looks like a small makeup case with a mirror for Yumi and the twins, while for the boys it looks like a pocket watch.

The devices were made to be worn on a special belt with other things that Yumi gave as gifts. Each device was customized to match the dorm uniform and the owner's personality.

Some interesting facts and other information

Current mayor of Ramshackle

She is ambidextrous, so she can do things with both her left and right hands.

When she was a child she dislocated her right arm after falling from a tree, she started trying to learn to use her left arm to do things, and ended up being able to do various activities with both hands

She likes animals

She has a dog named Goliath who is the family's guard dog

Goliath is an old lab experiment that ended up being saved by the family, and since then he has been part of the Yozakura family. No one knows how old he is, since he has been in the family for years.

She really likes Disney and has a great knowledge about it

When she arrived at Twisted Wonderland and saw the statues of the 7 greats, she immediately recognized them and explained a little of their history to Grim, which surprised Ace.

When asked how she knew this information, she didn't answer directly, she just said that they were also known in her dimension but that their stories were different from those that Night Raven knew, and she refuses to talk about it, no matter how much they insisted that she talk about it.

Even though she doesn't have magic, she ended up being great at history and potions. She also ends up doing well in physical education, but most of the time during Professor Vergas' classes she finds a way to hide.

Her characteristic colors are white, pink, red, black and gold.

She has a pet snake that she calls Jade.

The Havik sisters kind of adopted her, so they are always together.

After several events, the first-year class was mistaken for a gang. Yumi is the leader, the twins are her assistants, Ace and Deuce are her right and left arms. Jack and Sebek are the security guards. Epel seems to be the secretary and Ortho is the group's hacker.

To earn more money, she opened a kind of fight club in Ramshackle's basement. Almost all the dorms show up either to watch or fight, Leona usually shows up and stays in the VIP area watching everything. (And mainly because most of the people who enter are students from Savanaclaw)

Speaking of Ramshackle, the dorm is completely chaotic and it's not because of the ghosts that the dorm seems to be alive, besides the fact that the room and strange objects appear out of nowhere, there was one time when Yumi found her computer, she doesn't know how it got there but she doesn't complain.

She usually hacks into the school's system sometimes to bribe the principal, he's always crying because Yumi steals his money and can't even say anything, the last time she tried to complain, Yumi showed her evidence that Crowley was stealing money that the Al-Asim family donated to the school, and she said she would send it to the newspapers and ruin his reputation, he never complained again.

She uses the money she bribed from Crowley, and also from the fight club, to restore her dorm.

The first years are always having sleepovers, and at these parties they have discovered a bunch of secret rooms and underground passages that connect Ramshackle to the rest of the school.

Other information

•She doesn't fully understand some feelings. Yozakuras normally only know five feelings: Joy, Sadness, Anger, Hate and Love. Other feelings are confusing to them.

• The matriarch is the one who understands the feelings of others the most, but does not fully understand them like a normal human being.

• Yumi doesn't see any problem in killing or getting rid of something that bothers her. Despite being the most "human" of her siblings, Yumi also has great aggression and a huge hunting instinct.

• Regarding the hunting instinct, Yozakuras were created to kill and annihilate enemies. Not even Yumi is free from this factor in her DNA.

• Despite being a bit cruel, if you're not part of the family and you're not someone Yumi cares about, she doesn't even bother to remember your name.

• Yozakuras were created for battles, and because of that, they have an enormous thirst for blood, and they constantly get into fights to reduce this thirst.

•If they spend too much time without being able to release this thirst for blood and adrenaline, they become uncontrollable.

In The Dark

[TWST AU]: An MC/Yuu who fights like Xu Shang-Chi

[Synopsis]: In this timeline, MC/Yuu was transported to Twisted Wonderland and uses their knowledge of material arts to survive through chaotic adventures.

[Gender Neutral MC/Yuu]

[(A/N)]: I love Simu Liu and how he acted as Shang-Chi to show Asian representation in the Entertainment Industry.

The first time MC/Yuu came to Twisted Wonderland, they were in a middle of a battle against The Ten Rings clan.

MC/Yuu broke out of the coffin with their bare hands, shattering the lid into splinters and scaring poor Grim.

They were confused and still on defense mode then asked Grim who send him.

MC/Yuu: Who sent you? Wenwu?

Grim: Who-wu?

MC/Yuu: Never mind. *Sprints out of the room*

Grim: Hey! I need those clothes!

The chase still happens like in the canon storyline, but with some parkour stunts and losing Grim until later in the Library.

Crowley was almost knocked down while he came into scene, but you know you can’t sneak up on a former assassin.

MC/Yuu (plus Grim after he was captured by “The Whips of Love”) were dragged into the Dorm Sorting Ceremony and the same disaster happens.

MC/Yuu: *Witnessing a mess after under a minute* …This is crazier than seeing Morris the first time.

They brought Grim in as an emotional support buddy since their childhood wasn’t too good.

[Campus]

MC/Yuu: *Blocks an attack and knocks out the Savanaclaw student* I told you to stop, but you didn’t listen. I mean, what were you proving? Your large physique or that attitude?

Ace: Whoa! How did you do that?

MC/Yuu: I was trained to be an assassin in a clan called The Ten Rings. They’re not good people and last time I was with them, Wenwu was tracking down his son after he left.

[During Chapter 1]

Trey: Thanks for coming with me, MC/Yuu. I could use a set of hands.

MC/Yuu: No problem. If it saves Ace from being a “magicless student”, then he doesn’t have to complain about my living situation.

Trey: Yeah, it’s for the next Unbirthday Party. I just needs some over from that tree.

MC/Yuu: Okay. That sounds easy.

Trey: Careful, they have an outer shell covered in spikes. I provide some gloves-

MC/Yuu: *Kicks the tree which shook off some chestnuts* This enough for the tart?

Trey: *Surprised* Huh. They are enough.

[Back in the Heartslabyul kitchen]

MC/Yuu: Wenwu talked about some wannabe who was impersonating him as The Mandarin, the leader of the Ten Rings. Anyway, I found out he’s reintroduced to his career of becoming an actor.

Deuce: *Curious* When did that happened?

MC/Yuu: Oh, when Shang-Chi, Katy and I were looking for Xialing after she was imprisoned.

Deuce: Oh.

[During Chapter 2]

MC/Yuu: *Fighting against Overblot!Leona* Is this what you want?! *Pulls out replicates of the Ten Rings* You sore fighter!

Ace: Beat his ass, MC/Yuu!!!

Deuce: Careful, Prefect!

Jack: Don’t kill him!

MC/Yuu:

Overblot!Leona: *Falls back from the impact and spat out the Blot stone*

Everyone: OH!!!

Ruggie: Ya didn’t have to knock him unconscious!

MC/Yuu: I’m sorry! I’m still getting use to the rings.

A big thank you to @reddoransu for sharing the story with me, and @moonlight404-translates for helping me out with the translation! You’re both great and I am giving you a homemade eclair

This was REALLY fun to translate, and I hope you can tell that in the finished product! Like is kind of standard for me, I localized it just enough that it sounds normal in English--anything further than that I’ll make a note of

Also like is standard, it can be very difficult to find translations out in the wild thanks to shitty tumblr and twitter search features, so if this has already been done I apologize for stepping on toes OTL

For the sake of having their wish granted, for the sake of earning the title of the strongest martial artist… desire in each of their hearts, martial artists from all over the continent are now gathered at the FBG.

1. Originally this was “Battle in the ring!” 2. I believe this is Omi’s shikona (しこ名), his sumo wrestling name. Ookamiyama (狼山) has the kanji for wolf and mountain. 3. Omi says のこった (nokotta), which refers to when a sumo wrestler is still in the ring. So he’s saying that the battle hasn’t been decided yet. 4. The original line here was “friendly rivalry.” I changed it a bit to make it rhyme

Twst oc in progress!

I've seen a few twst ocs that are twisted from lord Shen in Kung Fu Panda 2 so how about an twst oc twisted from Tai Lung? I like to write a book writing about him like this:

"when a snow leopard enrolled in NRC, he literally managed to defeat Leona for the dorm leader role, Leona's pride is scratched and he's going to have a rematch to claim what he belongs. When he heard that Yuu is a magicless student who came from the other dimension that takes care of the overblots when they came but Yuu is a strategic kendo user, he challenge Yuu to a martial arts styled fight so it's up to them to get the house warden role back for Leona that "Tai Lung" stole from him. Morela and her twin have had to depend on each other since childhood, their parent always fighting each other and they never gave any attention to the twin. Their father was barely at home and their mother was always drunk. Sometimes the mother beat up the twins for very small things, so they had a lot of bruises on their bodies. When Morela and Yuri were 10 years old, their father died because of car accident, their mother was very happy thinking she would be able to take all of her husband's money so she went to the bar and had fun with the celebratory party but she was got robbed and killed on the way back home. The twin were forced to move to live with their uncle in England. In here, they had known that their uncle is a wizard, they were taught magic and also changed their last name to his uncle's surname-Hill

While walking around the house, the twin accidentally discovered a secret room that their uncle didn't tell them. It was a room with nothing but a strange mirror hanging on a wall covered with a cloth. Because of curiosity, the twin removed the cloth and……The twin' journey begin here.

Personality:

Morela is pretty grumpy person and kinda rude when talking to someone she doesn't like. She doesn't like to socialize with strangers and prefer stay at home and play video game than going outside. Morela really love her brother, she won't let anyone harm her twin. Morela is also an impatient person, if she waits something too long, she will give up and go home

Trivia:

Her name "Morela" meaning "apricot" in Polish

Her Japanese name was Yuna but after moved to England, she changes her name to "Morela"

Morela was born 5 minute before Yuri

Morela represents "Magic" - half of Merlin's soul

Morela loves drawing, her paintings often have sad themes

Morela had a friend name Aera but she passed away because of cancer

The magic the twins use aren't the same as Twisted Wonderland's magic, so the Dark Mirror couldn't sense anything ( that makes everyone think that the twin don't have magic)

Morela won't use her magic unless there's an emergency

Unlike her twin, Morela can control her magic quite well and she can use magic with her hands instead of using wand.

Because Crowley was too gracious, he refused to provide money for the twin, Morela have to draw pictures and sell them on Magicam to buy personal items and tuna for Grim

Morela also has a tattoo on her nape

Funfact:

When the twin were young, they used to fan of disney so when they look at the Great Seven, they always feel familiar

Morela accidentally used fire magic and almost burned down her uncle' library

Morela is really powerful that she can break Riddle's Unique Magic and unaffected by Jade and Jamil's Unique Magic

Like Yuri, Morela was hated by everyone at first and they thought she used dirty tricks to get enroll in the school.

Because of "beast tamed", all students are more friendly with twin

Morela and Yuri often comes to Ignihyde to play video game and watch anime with Idia

Morela often talk to her twin by English (Old trade) when they are alone or whispering

All dormitories want the twin are member of their dorm but they always refuse

Kiyoteru Hiyama is the host of the game show. Big Al is in the role of Chef. ——Episodes——— Prologue 1- Introduction to concept. Characters see the advertisement for the game show and contemplate going on it. The winner gets a million dollars! Prologue 2- Introduction to characters via their audition videos, part 1. Kiyoteru chooses contestants. Prologue 3- Introduction to characters via their audition videos, part 2. Kiyoteru chooses contestants. Episode 1- Everyone arrives at Total Drama Island and meets each other. Some get along, and many clash. Notable big-drama-causers include Tei, Eleanor, Dandy, Parsec, Cider, Merli sometimes, and Zatsune sometimes. Koto, Genbu, Ritsu, Haiyi, Daina, and Dex stick out for being especially wild. But really, everyone’s unique personality contributes to the drama and pot of chemistry in their own way. Another camper who sticks out is Gakupo Kamui, who enthusiastically boasts about his skills in martial arts and how ready he is to win Total Drama Island. He begins to get on the nerves of the other campers. “I can out-run, out-kick, out-sing, out-wit, and even out-PISS anybody else here.” Gakupo says. “Well, can you do us a favor and GET-out?” Meiko says. Episode 2- Campers have to jump off a one thousand-foot cliff into a shark-infested lake. Then they have to pull some crates back to camp, and the team from before with the most people who jumped get carts to help them. Then they have to build a hot tub from material found in the crates. The team with the best hot tub wins the challenge. The campers who were too scared to jump off the cliff have to wear chicken costumes for the rest of the day. Despite his incessant bragging previously, Gakupo is one of the few campers who does not jump off the cliff, because it is revealed he is scared of heights, sharks, AND deep water! He even pisses himself and dramatically faints when he gets close to the edge of the cliff... and then he faints off the cliff! However, his jump isn’t accounted for, because Gakupo was not conscious during his fall. Luka has to be the one to jump in after and rescue him! This causes Gakupo of The Dangerous Dolphins to be the first campter voted off. “Well… I guess he was right about out-pissing everyone here.” Neru laughs. The other campers too scared to jump are Taya, Dandy, Eleanor, Clara, Muxin, Chris, and Kaito. Haku is at first too scared, but her best friend Neru encourages her to be brave. They jump together and yell funny things on the way down. Even though Eleanor is scared, she ends up going over anyway after Chiyu pushes her off the cliff, being sick of Eleanor’s arrogance. However, it isn’t even accounted for, because Eleanor did not jump by her own will. Clara is too frightened and doesn’t make the jump, which is surprising, because she was so enthusiastic before. However, her boyfriend Bruno jumped without her… Taya takes one look down the cliff and starts backing away, crying from fear. He feels ashamed that he’s so scared, but he cannot help it. He gets pats on the back from Clara. Dandy makes an excuse as to why he can’t jump. He says he has an open wound from a fencing accident. In reality, Dandy does not fence. Muxin is too scared, but asserts that he doesn’t have to jump off the cliff if he doesn’t want to, and that the challenge is ridiculous. He then comforts Taya, who is curled up sobbing, and tells him not to feel shame. Taya and Muxin become friends, but sadly are on different teams. Chris is too scared and actually starts crying too. People don’t expect it. Kaito is scared to jump, panics and makes a bit of a scene, and is then picked on and belittled by his brother Akaito for the rest of the day. Kaito then vows he will become braver from here on. Braver, and stronger! Leeds actually does jump from the cliff, but it causes her heart to become weak and she has trouble walking for the rest of the day. Some of the members on her team rudely deem her a nuisance, but others tell her to take it easy and understand her. Afterwards, Clara gets a bit sour at Bruno, who is her boyfriend, for jumping the cliff without noticing she was too scared. Koto jumps the cliff and she actually has fun. But afterwards, she wears a chicken suit anyway, because she loves birds. Episode 3- The challenge is to stay awake the longest in the "Awake-A-Thon" after running twenty-kilometers and eating a huge meal that includes turkey, which is known for making people sleepy. Dell of The Killer Porpoises gets voted off for falling asleep first. He generally has a bad attitude and is apathetic. Haku feels heartbroken because Total Drama Island was the first time she had seen Dell since her parents’ divorce (by complete chance, even,) and he is not the warm person he used to be. Also, the time was so short. But unexpectedly, Dell acts nice to Haku right before he leaves, calling her to his room when he’s packing to go off the island. They have a nice conversation. Before Haku says goodbye, Dell says “Listen, I’m just not cut out for this wacky game. So you better win. I KNOW you can do it.” Haku begins crying and hugs Dell. Just like when they were kids. There will eventually be a list of who falls asleep first to last, but that’s quite convoluted. So I will say Dell falls asleep first, and Ruko second. Campers were not allowed to drink coffee during the challenge, rendering our Long Sleeper without access to her “secret weapon.” Koto stays up the longest, because she is a bird lover and loves birds too much to consume them. She was the only one who didn’t eat any turkey with her meal, and therefore didn’t become as sleepy. Also simply because she is badass and feral. Episode 4- A best-of-five dodgeball game. Five people are randomly chosen on each team. This is repeated three times for a total of three rounds of dodgeball. The Dangerous Dolphins win 2 out of 3 games. Zatsune of The Killer Porpoises gets voted off for being scared of dodgeball. It was a fear ingrained into her from her elementary school days, when the “dodgeball kids would bully her.” Sadly, since Zatsune always acts so cocky, nobody feels much sympathy now. Taya and Muxin want to spend time with each other. Being on different teams, they can’t, and are deemed traitors. But when Tei, on Taya’s team, suggests Taya could get valuable information about the other team via Muxin, Taya refuses to sabotage their friendship. This causes Tei to begin picking on Taya… Episode 5- A three-on-three talent show contest. Dex of The Killer Porpoises gets voted off for no reason. He wasn’t even in the talent show! Dandy wanted to get chosen by his team, the Dangerous Dolphins, to be in the talent show, claiming his “talent” was unmatched. However, he wasn’t chosen because he didn’t exactly have any real actual skills despite his claim! Taya, Luka, and Gumi are eventually chosen by the Dangerous Dolphins for their talents in music. Luka will play piano, Taya will play the violin, and Gumi will play the electric bass as they all sing a song cover. This causes Dandy to criticize their every note and call them amateur. Given Taya and Gumi’s low self-esteem, Dandy’s criticism gets to them before the final talent show. As for the Killer Porpoises, Yuuma, Ritsu, and IA get chosen as the team’s musicians. They form more of an idol dance group, with a pre-recorded background track. (It will also be a cover.) The Dangerous Dolphins actually win. If they were to have lost, Dandy would’ve probably been the one voted off for being a prick. Episode 6- Campers have to go to the forest, stay out there overnight, then race back to the campgrounds in the morning. Yukari of the Killer Porpoises gets voted off. See, it wasn’t really Yukari’s fault, but… she got attacked by a bear and is now too injured to stay for the game, so the voting off was mandatory, even though the Killer Porpoises otherwise won. Everyone becomes more-or-less traumatized at this, and feel very hurt for Yukari. Episode 7- Campers have to face their worst fear, specific to each camper. Yuuma gets voted off. Koto’s worst fear is the perfume department from Spongebob, because that scene scarred her as a little kid. So the host of the game show, Kiyoteru, magically opens a door to the perfume department at a real department store and Koto has to walk through it. Koto only makes it 5 steps in before she runs out, screaming. She does not pass her fear test! Yuuma is scared of the Crab Rave because there are too many crabs. So he is taken to a part of the island overrun by crabs, and Kiyoteru turns on the Crab Rave song and they all start dancing. Yuuma dives into the water screaming. But the crabs chase him. He doesn’t pass his fear test. Taya attempts to outwit Kiyoteru and pretends he is afraid of strawberry shortcake, which is actually his favorite food. But everyone remembers how scared he was in the first challenge at the cliff. So Taya’s specific challenge is to jump off the cliff this time… Episode 8- Row a canoe to Boney Island, portage across the island, start a bonfire, and canoe back to camp. Wil gets voted off. Episode 9- Hunt the other team dressed as deers with paintball guns, or if one is a deer, avoid being hit by them. Piko gets voted off. Episode 10- Create a three-course meal for Kiyoteru to judge. Three chefs are chosen from each team. Miku gets voted off. Episode 11- Participate in a set of three-out-of-five trust exercises. Shian gets voted off. Episode 12- Make it through Big Al’s life-threatening and disgusting boot-camp challenges. IA gets voted off. Episode 13- Participate in three extreme sport challenges. The challenges are "sofa skydiving", riding a moose while avoiding being tossed off it, and water-skiing on mud. Lapis gets voted off. Episode 14- Eat a nine course meal of disgusting food made by Big Al. Drink shot glasses of blended cockroaches. Yuu gets voted off. Episode 15- Episode 16- Episode 17- Episode 18- Episode 19- Episode 20- Episode 21- Episode 22- Episode 23- Episode 24- Episode 25- Episode 26- Episode 27- Episode 28- Episode 29- Episode 30- Episode 31 Episode 32- Episode 33- Episode 34- Episode 35- Episode 36- Episode 37- Episode 38- Episode 39- Episode 40- Episode 41- Episode 42- Episode 43- After this challenge, the teams are disbanded. It’s now every camper for themself. Episode 44- Get through several rounds of torture, lasting at least ten seconds in each one. Eleanor gets voted off because she can’t take torture. Episode 45- Receive a clue to find a key hidden somewhere in the island to open a treasure chest containing a prize. Ritsu found a dud chest and his prize was… getting voted off. Episode 46- Avoid getting sprayed by Big Al’s water gun in a game of hide and seek. Parsec gets voted off. Good riddance! Episode 47- Build a bike from scratch, and then race it. Who rides who’s bike? Anyway, Dandy gets voted off. Probably because he’s 7 foot 4 and huge. He probably broke all the bikes. Episode 48- Watch a horror movie and then avoid being captured by a "deranged killer". Gumi gets voted off because she was scared. Episode 49- Catch the specific animal assigned by Kiyoteru and bring it back to the campground unharmed. Taya had to bring back a raccoon. He came back first. Koto had to bring back a bear. She came back second. What a total beast! And I’m talking about KOTO! Genbu had to bring back an eagle. He came back third. Leeds had to bring back a frog. She came back fourth. Kaito had to being back a squirrel. He came back fifth. Haku had to bring back a moose. She came back sixth. Tei gets sent off because she couldn’t bring back a mere chipmunk. The little chipmunk was trained in king-fu and ended up beating her up! Hooray! Episode 50- Compete in the following while handcuffed to one of the other campers: eat disgusting food with your hands behind your back while the person handcuffed to you feeds you, return a fragment of Haku’s cursed tiki idol to Boney Island, and assemble a totem pole with the wooden heads of the voted out campers in the order that they are eliminated. Taya gets voted off. Episode 51- Campers have to find Kiyoteru and Big Al after being washed away by a storm. Leeds gets voted off because her condition came to its worse. Her weak heart had finally failed on her and she suffered a heart attack. She was doing so good in the game despite her shortcomings, and will serve as an inspiration for many. Leeds will not die. She is in good hands. She will get top medical care. Now, a twist is revealed to the audience. Everyone who was voted off actually went to go to a beautiful island resort. The remaining campers still don’t know about this. When Leeds finally gets consciousness back, she finds she is in paradise. At first, she thinks she is dead. The room then fills up with everyone else voted off, and she begins crying. “They really killed you?” She cries. “No, Leeds!” Yukari says. “You’re alive! You made it… to Paradise Island!” Episode 52- An episode dedicated to the Island of Losers, which is actually a five-star island resort paradise. Yukari has fully recovered from her injuries. Gakupo and all the others who were eliminated early finally get their time to shine! The losers will also be involved in the episodes to come, as they will be the audience. Episode 53- The campers have to find their way back to camp after being left in the wild with limited supplies. Unexpectedly, our total beast, Koto Fuuga, comes back last. Rumors have it, this is because she found a bird sanctuary and got distracted. Episode 54- Survive a series of dares, given by the eliminated campers until someone drops out. Haku is forced to do something horrible by Tei. Tei dares Haku to joke around and portray offensive stereotypes. On national TV. She just can’t do it… She drops out, but not before insulting Tei to her face. But Kaito says Haku made the right choice. She sacrificed her chance to win a million dollars so that Tei didn’t have to force her to make a choice that could hurt people when they see it on TV. Kaito thinks Haku deserves an amazing consolation prize. Genbu respects Haku for this as well. Episode 55- The two remaining campers have to climb a pole and retrieve a flag, walk across a board on top of shark-infested waters while carrying an eagle's egg, and run a race to cross the finish line. Kaito is about to give up… but… There is ice cream at the finish line! Kaito makes a mad dash to the finish line and wins Total Drama Island!! Episode 56- Kaito won! But there is a twist. In order to actually win the million dollars, he has to find the a case containing the $1,000,000 and bring it to the Dock of Shame before anyone else does! This is a race between him and all the other campers! I propose this idea: an Ouran High School Host Club AU, in which Yuu is Haruhi or Grim, since he would probably want to eat fancy tuna like Haruhi.

I’m feeling nostalgic today.

Tamaki...

...could be a couple people, honestly.

I think Vil commands the “king”-like aura that Tamaki is known for--plus, Vil is very pretty.

However, I feel like Rook is better at actually flirting/giving compliments (plus he can speak French, and if I recall correctly, Tamaki is part French).

Neither Vil nor Rook seem like the types to give needless lip service though, which is basically the whole point of a host club.

I think Vil would be great at pointing out strengths and guiding guests towards honing them rather than blindly complimenting others.

Rook, though...Rook seems like he would outright roast people for their shortcomings, albeit in subtle way.

I considered Leona for this spot as well since he is a “king” in his own right, but he’s way too lazy to be a part of a host club and let’s be honest here, all of you would die if Leona flirted with you.

Overall, Vil is probably the best Tamaki equivalent overall, even if he does calls his followers potatoes.

Kyouya...

...is obviously Azul.

They are both shrewd businessmen who know when to smile and when to be scary.

On top of handling the finances, Azul also handles promotional materials and comes up with ideas--since he does the same for the Mostro Lounge.

Azul probably loans out the Mostro Lounge for the host club to use. He takes a cut of the club’s funds for himself as payment.

The true brains of the host club, and one man you do not want to mess with.

Plus...megane.

The Hitachins...

...well, they’re the Leeches, of course.

This really needs no explanation.

They’re twins.

They’re mischievous.

They’re basically the same people.

Honey and Mori...

...go hand-in-hand. Therefore, the characters that suit them should also be a “pair” that works well. For example, Jamil and Kalim or Epel and Jack!

Jamil gives off an intimidating vibe, but he’s really just a tsundere that wants to protect and serve Kalim--and Kalim has that bubbly, child-like persona down. He’d probably charm people without even trying, to be honest.

Jack has a similar aura to Mori as well--he looks very tough, but he’s actually very fluffy and sweet. Epel is cute like Honey, but he has that determination to be tough--and Honey is a tough martial artist!

If I had to pick one, I’d say Kalim and Jamil work better just because I feel like Epel would be insulted at people constantly fawning over him.

For honorable mentions, there’s Malleus and Lilia, Idia and Ortho, and Trey and Riddle. I don’t think these pairs work particularly well, even if they look the part at first glance.

Malleus pulls off the quiet, intimidating presence of Mori while also being a softie.

But Lilia doesn’t seem like the overly childish type even if he does enjoy playing pranks every now and again. He has his wisdom and his dignity to uphold as an elder.

Idia has way too much social anxiety to ever want to be part of a host club.

Also, Ortho is a robot...so unless you’re really into machines, I don’t think that would work.

Trey is too friendly to be a Mori equivalent--and no way would Riddle want to purposefully act childish to appeal to others.

He wouldn’t want to spend any time around those shady Leech Brothers, either.

His Deal: Main protagonist of Cowboy Bebop. Bounty hunter born on Mars. A skilled martial artist that practices Jeet Kune Do. Well acquainted with guns. Owns a mono racer Swordfish.

His Criminal Past: Before teaming up with Jet Black aboard the Bebop, he was part of the Red Dragon Criminal Syndicate. But after being tangled up with his former colleague Vicious (and fell in love with Julia), he decided to leave the life of crime. Unfortunately, his past kept on creeping back to him during the course of the series.

His Deal: Looks mean but he's actually a good guy. Can make a good house husband since he does all the work in their household. Takes good care of Taiga Aisaka, his eventual love interest.

The Tiger and the Dragon: Taiga and Ryuuji crossed paths on their second year of high school when the latter accidentally bumped into her. Thing got even more interesting when one night Taiga "attacked" Ryuuji in his home to retrieve the love letter intended for Ryuuji's friend Yusaku Kitamura. What's more, Taiga discovers that Ryuuji has a crush on her friend Minori Kushieda. The two then decided to help each other out with their respective crushes. And then chaos ensues... 😅

ALPHONSE ELRIC (Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood)

His Deal: Younger brother of Edward Elric. After performing human transmutation with his brother to revive their mother, he lost his physical body in the process. His soul is retrieved by Ed, though it is now enclosed in a suit of armor.

Polar Opposites: While his more famous elder brother is a bit stubborn, Al is kinder, more patient. Amidst battling his own insecurities, Al cares deeply to the people closest to him, even risking his own life in the process. Cases in point: Al protecting Xing princess May Chang and his ultimate sacrifice to save his brother Ed, both happened during the Promised Day arc of FMAB.

ASHITAKA (Princess Mononoke)

His Deal: Former Emishi prince. Have to leave his village to find the cure for the curse bestowed upon him by a demon he faced (in a shape of a wild boar). A skilled archer and sword fighter.

Caught in the Middle: While traveling far and wide in search for the cure, he was caught in the crossfire between to warring factions - the people of Irontown led by Lady Eboshi (one of the most complex antagonist in the Ghibli canon) and the forest creatures, spearheaded by San.

MAKI SEIJI (Bloom Into You)

His Deal: The Student Council's resident aromantic (though he admires people in love and even gives love advice). The one who first to discover what's going on with Touko Nanami and fellow freshman Yuu Koito.

Yuu's Lifeline: Maki has been a key figure in guiding through Yuu's journey especially regarding her relationship with Touko. His shining moment came in Episode 39 of the manga, during their day-off at the batting range. While Yuu admitted that she does not care about romance anymore, Maki made her realize that: 1) they are not the same (aromantic) as Yuu claimed to be; 2) she's been in love with Touko all this time (as Maki repeatedly telling her beforehand); and she's just running away for the fear of getting hurt. That moment became a turning point for Yuu, as it sets its stage for the fateful Episode 40.

TOMOMI MASAOKA (Psycho-Pass)

His Deal: Former Detective of the Public Safety Bureau then was demoted to Enforcer after his frustration on the Sibyl System. He was assigned at Division 1, working with the likes of Shinya Kogami and Nobuchika Ginoza. He also has a prosthetic left arm.

Daddy Issues: As he appears to be the father-figure of Division 1, he's actually the biological father of Inspector Ginoza. Although their relationship can be a little strained at times, they do care about each other, esp. when Ginoza seeks advice to her father. Tragedy struck when Masaoka fell into the hands of Shogo Makashima, in an attempt to save his son's life.

SHUN KAZAMA (From Up on Poppy Hill)

His Deal: Student at Konan Academy. A regular contributor to "The Latin Quarter Weekly", the school's newsletter. Have a bit complicated family backstory (I won't spoil it here for those who have not seen the movie!).

Jackass Moment: In one of the attempts in voicing out their disgust on the impending demolition of the Latin Quarter, the clubs made a bit of a scene during the school's lunch break. Shun - an active supporter to the cause - jumped from the Quarter's rooftop, hit a tree, then fell on a pool full of water. Umi Matsuzaki - the heroine of the movie - lended a hand to help Shun out.

DUTCH (Black Lagoon)

His Deal: Former US marine that fought in the Vietnam War then went into hiding and become a mercenary. He is the leader of the Lagoon Trading Company.

A Lover Not A Fighter: Dutch is more into negotiating to clients in a peaceful manner and giving orders to the rest of the crew. But he can be one dangerous fellow if the need arises (he's an ex-Marine after all!). But 'til then, he leaves all the dirty work to their resident trigger- happy colleague, Revy.

NAGISA "NAGI" AMANO (Weathering With You)

His Deal: Hina Amano's younger brother. And he's pretty much a scene stealer in the movie.

Ladies' Man: At a very young age (elementary school age?!?), Nagi has been pretty smooth with girls. This came in handy, when he seeked the help of her girl friends to escape on the foster care facility, and also save Hodaka as well.

JET BLACK (Cowboy Bebop)

His Deal: The captain of the Bebop. He can be one hell of a tough guy but he knows how to do house chores as well. On occasion, we may see him either cooking or tending his bonsai trees.

The Black Dog: In a series that deals about the past, Jet's backstory is no exception. Before living a life as a bounty hunter, he is a detective of the Inter Solar System Police (ISSP). But during his years as a cop, his girlfriend Alisa left him (as shown in a flashback on Session 10: Ganymede Elegy) and was betrayed by his former colleague Fad during a case against Udai Taxim (another flashback, this time on Session 16: Black Dog Serenade) that cost his left arm (hence why it is in prosthetic) and ended his career in law enforcement.

My brain shut down some part of the way through if you couldn’t tell. I thought about not posting it up, but I still wanted some proof that I’m still alive and kicking if just to respond to sudden artistic sparks of motivation via sketching over official art. I may or may not clean this up whenever motivation returns, but who knows.

Anyways! With Ochako’s hero costume getting a new look, I figured I may as well give Yuu’s yet another redesign as well! The whole Valkyrie theme honestly felt like a stretch, so I was more than happy to go back to paralleling canon design. Instead of having Astral Hero: Valkyuurie (アストラルヒーローヴァーキュリ), we now have Cosmic Hero: Nebula (コズミックヒーローネビュラ). Clearly, this works much better -- it not only keeps to the space theme, but also incorporates the ‘yuu’ sound as well.

Details on equipment features are under the cut!:

Body Suit --- Again meant to retain the original proto!Uraraka design, although the tightly-fitted collar’s design is just a bit different to incorporate the Ochako neckwear features (pressure point bumps for reducing migraines/headaches/etc). If the torso looks wider, it’s because I tried to keep it more faithful to its original design. Apparently, I’ve been making it too thin, a result from following along Ochako’s suit design.

Forgot to mention last time, but while the suit’s design is meant to replicate the original one, the mesh on each of Yuu’s sides are also breathable!

Mask --- Still just for aesthetics/retaining that original prototype design.

Headgear --- No longer has a visor or headband attachment, making them more like earmuffs Ochako’s new headgear instead. Still retains Ochako’s helm features (reducing stimulation of the semicircular canals) while also incorporating two other features:

flashlights on the top, which can be adjusted with a light panel on the respective sides.

microphones on the bottom ends for a communication device inside. The ‘antennae’ on the back also serve as signal for said communication device.

Gauntlets (incomplete design) --- Still parallels the main feature on Ochako’s wrist guards, containing a device that clamps down and releases like a blood pressure gauge in order to stimulate the pressure points around the wrist area which help suppress nausea. Visual design is now also compact/more similar to Ochako’s because good lord was I struggling with the design I made.

Funny enough, Horikoshi ended up making the grappling hook feature canon, albeit in a more compact/minimalistic way, so I just went with trying to work off his design while possibly incorporating Ochako’s concept design.

Fingerless Arm-gloves --- Again helps keep the gauntlets in place with inner-elbow pads for buffering the arm’s range of motion while gauntlets are on. It isn’t shown clearly, but the bottom half of the pads is attached to the gloves, while the top half has a strap that goes around just above the elbow.

Belt --- Decided to keep it parallel with Ochako’s new belt, down to the back container pockets on each side. Only difference is the addition of two retractable hooks on each side of the belt, meant to latch onto multiple things that Yuu can float to keep her hands/gauntlets’ hooks free. The buttons below each respective hook reel them back in.

Boots (horrifically incomplete design) --- Supposed to be much more visually faithful to Ochako’s boots in addition to the cushions and spring-loaded heels on the soles, but adjustments are still needed in order to optimize Yuu’s martial arts. At the very least, the knee-guards are again meant to keep Ochako’s concept design.

Horikoshi made the boots’ thrusters canon in chapters 253/256, though seemingly only for when Ochako keeps her legs tucked in while afloat. Not wanting to inhibit Yuu’s martial arts, I’ve decided to stick with them being more compact. The only problem is just designing this.

There are supposed to be 3 small compartments on the outer sides of the boots for additional supplies, but for some reason I did both inner and outer sides.
