I still can't draw my Oc wearing glasses, so in the drawing (which I still have to transfer to digital) she is without glasses.

The first drawing is a little old so the style is a little different (for some reason I can never make two identical drawings)

A helpful guide to Gargoyles, Grotesques, and other statues

Gargoyles serve the same function as a modern day roof drain or gutter. Originally built to reduce erosion from storms, they became much less popular in the early 18th century. Must be built into the building high on the wall and have spout capabilities.

Example picture:

Grotesques are purely aesthetic and are the Gargoyles less functional but cooler cousin. They were believed to ward off evil spirits, so they were most popular on churches or other religious buildings. These must also be built high on walls and were usually hidden for the casual viewer's pleasure. The reason grotesques were believed to ward off evil is the hideous mixure of human and animal features, much like how halloween started.

Neither of these fixtures can be gifted or sit at ground level. If they do, they are neither a Gargoyle nor a grotesque, but instead a regular statue.

As far as my knowledge goes, Europeans in the 14th to 18th century never actually used grotesque-style or other statues to protect their gates. The closest I could find were The Lion Gatekeeper statues, popular in Egypt, Greece, and Mesopotamia.

This kind of thing:

NEVER EXISTED. The idea of the modern-day "gargoyle" wasn't popular until Disney's 1994 cartoon, "Gargoyles". If you ever write about Gargoyles, they were NEVER ground-level decoration.

To summarize: Gargoyles were a wall figure designed to drain water. Grotesques were a wall fixture meant for aesthetics and to ward off evil. Anything else is a statue. Do not get them mixed up.

Their name is Quincy. They use any pronouns, but primarily They/them. They like to sew, which they made the skirt that they often wear. That’s all I’m going to share for now but feel free to ask me questions about them.

Its so funny to me when people behave similarly to their faves. How in character for a Leona enjoyer (🫵YOU) to be so casual about Malleus at best

Not sure if this comment is in reference to a particular a previous ask, but I did receive a description of myself that sounded vaguely like L*ona 😭

***PLEASE NOTE: Everything I express in this post is my own opinion and is in no way meant to disparage Malleus enjoyers.***

hcbsjsbwksks. To be fair 😅 I have disliked Malleus LONG before I ever liked L*ona (I disliked L*ona in the beginning as well) so things ending up this way is coincidental. I just don’t feel like Malleus should be heaped with praise for doing what is essentially the bare minimum that sounds like a L*onaism, I know. Genuinely do not understand the hype around him simply appearing and saying maybe a few lines for half of the main story or why every little thing must somehow relate back to him. (The latter point is more of a behavior from the fandom; I assume some of this comes from the Diasomnia content drought we experienced for some time and Malleus being a major yet mysterious part of the marketing… Even so, I find it the reactions to be overblown at times, especially when I can’t discuss certain story segments, events, or vignettes without someone coming in to aggressively defend Malleus’s honor.) L*ona voice) “You don’t impress me, lizard.”

I’ll give him credit where credit is due, but in most cases I think he hasn’t done enough to earn the copious amounts of love and respect he gets (both from the EN fandom and in-universe). When has he acted like a leader? When has he been humbled and accepted the consequences of his actions? It really is frustrating seeing someone who typically rests on his laurels get all the attention. He needs to be called out more for his missteps instead of those missteps largely being hand-waved away because of his power, status, age, race, or any other factor which separates him from his peers. I need to stop talking because the more I do it the more I sound like L*ona—

cbdksbkwkwkw So yeah, “casual” is the best it gets for Draconia until he can demonstrate to me otherwise. I of course don’t expect complete maturity from Malleus (or any Twst character), but it is still so unappealing to watch him remain stagnant, throwing temper tantrums, etc. I’m holding out for the end of book 7 to do something for his character, but I’m not super optimistic given his track record up to this point 😔 Malleus’s character development wouldn’t be that fast.

The day that the twisted wonderland fans realize that prefect/yuu was never a therapist /acted like one is the day that i can rest peacefully!

because let me explain it: the overblot characters never and i mean ever came to yuu and talked about they're problems, no in fact they where closed off and yknow did trouble. and just a little reminder when we defeat the overblot characters we see they're backround sad story/why they are acting this way but yuu cant see it nor the other characters who are helping yuu defeat the overblot and probably think its weird on why the character is acting different now / changes for the good but they still accept the overblot character and somewhat forgives them.

because its like this: character meets yuu, they are closed off and not just shoots they're whole problem onto yuu, the characters make trouble and yuu fixes it, character overblot because of represst sad back-story, yuu defeats overblot, sad backround story for us and yuu cant see it, character changes just like that wich is definitely weird for yuu and the characters who helped yuu, but they just accept it as change and forgive the character. Its like this!

And now im not saying that you cant make Prefect therapist jokes etc im just saying how it is because some people genuinely believe that Prefect is a therapist wich in fact they are not!

I'm a big twisted wonderland fan I have been for years. Last year, I learned that Yana, the person who made Black Butler, also helps with Twisted Wonderland. So I've been thinking... What if at the "end" of the game or what we think will be the end, Yana pulls a plot twist. Like Crowley has found a way home for us, but Grimm overblots, or something else crazy happens, and all the Twisted wonderland characters get stuck in our world. They get stuck in our world, a world without magic, beastmen, merpeople, or fae. They'll have to navigate our world, but an even crazier thought: what if the characters get sucked into our world, and we stay in Twisted Wonderland. That would be Crazy, but Yana always has some crazy plot twist in her stories, and there hasn't been one yet in Twisted wonderland. Maybe she would also do the theory that Dire Crowley is Malleus's father, and we would get double shocked. Not only that, but both of these theories or ideas coming true would give the game a way to continue after we find a way home.

The way Lilia says this line to Crowley’s appearance in Special Lessons is funny…he doesn’t say “home” in JP, but does encourage Crowley to stay longer and relax. I see…not very often that characters want Crowley to stay with them longer (<- this is severe levels of copium here)

Law is very amused by the cuteness and determination of tiny!Luffy and has already assured him he's going to help him become Pirate King. Luffy promises tiny!Law they're going to kick Mingo's ass together. Tiny!Law is now in love.

SABOALA

Tiny!Koala is a bit of a mess due to her Tragic Backstory being more recent. Sabo has moved "murder some celestial dragons" up on his mental to do list. Koala finds tiny!Sabo adorable, which he likes since he thinks she's very pretty.

MARACE

Ace is so into how cute tiny!Marco is and keeps squishing his cheeks. Tiny!Ace kicks Marco in the shin and declares adults are stupid and he's never going to date one.

ZOSAN

Sanji likes hearing tiny!Zoro talk about how awesome Kunia was and how he's going to be the best swordsman ever over some rice balls. Zoro is trying to stop tiny!Sanji from trying to out-cook his older self...and failing.

NAMIVIVI

Vivi regales tiny!Nami of how big Nami escaped Arlong and went on to help save Alabasta. Nami may or may not have conned tiny!Vivi out of some jewelry as a life lesson.

FROBIN

Robin has tiny?Franky wrapped abound her little finger. Tiny!Robin just threw Franky overboard.
