Narinder stood at the side of the festivities, watching as the flock took turns dancing around the bonfire. An old tradition to finish out the cooler season before the first warmth, where young families would teach steps to their children, friends formed lines of perfect synchronization, and lovers would come together hand in hand as a sweet confession. He'd witnessed many festivals like this one. Even participated when he was a new crownling under Shamura's watchful eyes.

But this was the first time he had his own flock to host without any aid from his elder siblings. And it was also the first time he himself did not dance with the congregation. But that was fine by him. He was content to observe passively, taking note of all the gentle smiles and bright laughter.

Though he wished someone else would go join them.

"Why not join the dance, Marrock?" he asked. "You do not need to stand at my side."

The dark mauve wolf shook his head. "No. I don't dance. And what's more, I'm meant to act as Guardian. That means I watch. And I wait. And I jump in at the first sign of danger."

"Perhaps, but you're still mortal," Narinder countered. "You do not live a very long life. You should enjoy it."

Marrock shrugged. "I'll live longer than you might think. It has been decided, after all."

Narinder nodded slowly. He'd heard before from the wolf about the prophecy. How Pep, though still inexperienced, would someday join the pantheon of Crown Bearers. And that Marrock would be there by their side. Even so, the two chose to join his sect, and worshiped him as though there was not a looming end to their arrangement. Loyal almost to a fault.

But he didn't mind. He was still a fledgling getting on his own two feet. Even if it were temporary, Narinder was grateful to have them there.

"Indeed. It has been decided, I suppose...." He glanced at the dancers, holding back a laugh as Doris practically began to throw Pep into the air only to catch them. Pep laughed, staggering when their feet returned to the ground, only to be pulled along again. "They look like they're having fun, don't they?"

"....yes. They do."

Narinder glanced at Marrock, raising a brow at the soft expression. "You should tell them."

"Tell them what?" Marrock asked.

"You fancy them, don't you, Marrock?" He nodded toward the duo. "Pepromene."

"I...." Marrock glanced away. "It's....complicated."

"Complicated," Narinder hummed. "You two have been inseparable since the day you met, right? When did it start feeling complicated?"

Marrock didn't say anything at first, simply reaching up and scratching at his left ear. Then, as the songs began to shift, he let out a sigh of defeat. "In truth...I always felt that way about them. From first seeing Pepromene, I felt something in my heart just....grow. We became friends well before Evie told me of my future. Even if I never learned of it, I would have followed them anywhere. The prophecy is simply..... a reassurance. That I am not in fact without purpose. That my place is by Pepromene's side." He chuckled softly. "I would do anything for them. They...they're my reason for living. I truly love them. Most desperately, in fact."

"Then you should tell them."

"I cannot."

"And why ever not?"

Marrock looked back to the dancers, and Narinder saw the wolf's eyes gleam with pitiful acceptance.

"Their heart belongs to another," Marrock stated simply. "And as long as that person is who they care for most in the world, I cannot step between them."

Narinder looked over at the the duo, ears twitching anxiously. "Doris and Pepromene? I mean...I can see why, but-"

To this, Marrock laughed. "No, no. It isn't Doris. Doris does not feel that way towards Pep. And Pep sees Doris more as a big sister."

"Then who, man?" Narinder demanded. "Who has Pepromene's heart and dares keep it from your reach?"

"It matters not," Marrock assured. "I appreciate the enthusiasm, my Lord. But you needn't trouble yourself." He stood tall, his shoulders finally relaxing. "As long as Pep is happy, that is all that matters."

Narinder's tail sharply wagged back and forth. He certainly did not think this was fair at all to one of his most faithful.

Later, when the festival was done and all went to bed, he made note to finish mastering the mind-reading spell Kallamar had taught him. He would fix this, even if it killed him.

I created this piece for truth and reconciliation day though it became a great opportunity for me to explore cultural customs of both mine and other indigenous cultures and brought me peace. The sentiment online regarding that day was rancid. I did not realize there were deniers of my families experience. This piece was made with strength and I hope I conveyed that. Im able to create art like this because of my family who lived in spite of their horrid situations. They were warriors.

This was an exploration of North Stars home life/life outside of Tokoyami. Her sibling and dad died in the incident tm and is how she got her scars. Her mother is Russian and where she gets her accent. North is the oldest of the four with Moira as the youngest. Moira is also the only one with children. The Nightingale bloodline continues due to her.

On the left I just had to illustrate Saeran/Sedna and Chihiro just so that I could draw baby Ichiro. Though I should have drawn this in a specific timeline… oh well.. it is random and baby Ichiro (kinda… he’s like 6-8)

I hope this piece could capture the love in my heart for mine and other cultures as well as my love for North Star and her lore. The silly ever + her little bird sidekick Tokoyami I love them. I wanted to include Tokoyami in this piece but it was already massive and overwhelming lmao.

So. It's safe to say that this, right here, is my favourite episode of the show so far, and it's not even close. The fights, the drama, the mysteries and intrigue! I gobbled it all up like a savage (not Savage, leave the poor wanker alone, he doesn't deserve your attitude! \lh), and was left with a mind whirling so fast I'm still dizzy a whole planet cycle later

Welcome to my silly hyperfixation sperg!

I love me some mythology and history of these fantastical creatures. I do enjoy the movie approach and filmography of the werewolf history. (Even though you skipped shapeshifters from ❤️💀🤖) but I wanted to add to the cryptozoological side of it even if I’m a bit amateurish of the study.

Let’s dive in

Though early origins to the term of lycanthropy dating back to Ancient Rome and Ancient Greece via Latin language, humans that transform into dog like hybrids is a universal concept that can be found all over the world from Europe to South Asia!

As was our human way to explain what wasn’t yet known scientifically of modern times, for the civilizations who came before us, strangeness in people from neurological to physical abnormalities were thought to be otherworldly!

A rare mutation but oldest documented instance is when the hair on the body grow longer than what is “normal” leading to top to bottom fully covered in hair people: Hypertrichosis. Which is where the image of transformation came from or at least hypothesized to have been the origins of. Then there’s the actual clinically diagnosis of “clinical lycanthropy” which is when someone who has this believes they are in fact a werewolf.

So with the fun science out of the way! Allow me to list off every lycanthrope from around the world!

They’d watch over flocks and tend to chores and leave behind fish on the windowsills of homes once they’re done helping. It’s said they’d only act in violence if provoked but other than that they were mostly seen as good!

I’m shook that no one mentioned the werewolves from the Halloween anthology film “Trick or Treat” or “the wolf among us” which was about the big bad wolf being a detective in a modern setting with fairytales and murder! Or the other red riding hood movie! “Red Riding Hood” (2011); with really good color story of mostly black and white scenery and striking red from our leading lady!

Ohmygod I nearly forgot that Pokémon even has a werewolf pokemon!

I don't think it's going to come up any time soon (or maybe it will lol patty) but this book really, for the first time, seems to be setting up Adam as a future Marrock.

the constant mentions of Adam as a good leader

the multiple mentions in this book that Adam and Mercy are beginning to tangle with weirder and weirder shit, and have to have both an awareness of and are active players in politics outside of the werewolf world

the entire fucking conversation Adam has with Darryl early in the book

where it's brought up that there are both multiple super Alpha wolves in Adam's pack who butt heads occasionally but ultimately are chill with being in Adam's pack.

also there's multiple wolves with Old Wolf Drama in Adam's pack; both of these things are just like Bran's pack.

Bran may no longer be the leader that the werewolf world needs. Patty makes a point of mentioning in the past few books that since going public the werewolves are under a lot of stress, and in this book she mentions that "the average life expectancy of a werewolf who survived the initial Change was now around eight years." Like Bran has to take care of business but maybe there's another way? there's clearly some tension building there

A first attempt at a mini-comic from my 7DS ff.

Well, bad drawings and coloring is better than none at all.

That's from the first chapter of a project which started in 2017 I think. While reading the manga as soon as the chapters were out, and being a big fan of Arthurian legends in general, I started thinking about writing a little something about different generations of Knights of the Round Table (that was long before 7DS ended and KotA went out).

I already had some ideas about Lancelot, because of course a lot has been written about him, but... What about the other Knights? What about the rest of his family?

And, well.

Here you have my OC Hectoria Evainne de Maris Maliaron, future Queen of Gaunnes. Because yeah, why not?

I actually merged Hector de Maris and Bors de Ganis into this female OC... which happens to be a WereBeast. Because WereBeast were so interesting but severely underused and under-represented. And because, well, King Arthur did have a kind of Werewolf among his knights.

Bringing Ban's sister Killa back from the dead would have been more "canon", family tree-wise, to bring Lancelot's cousins/nephews to life, but... 7DS is anything but """canon""", to be fair xD

So the story begins at Vaizel tournament and I just couldn't resist trying to draw a little something

Since the story covers many years and different generations of knights, I also put in there:

Morgana, ispired from BBC Merlin Morgana, which is, obviously, a Fairy

Mordred, ispired from Fate Apocrypha Mordred, who, being thus half Fairy, is non-binary

Kayley and Garrett, inspired from the protagonists of Quest for Camelot

Marrock, who is a WereBeast (wolf) just like Maliaron

I really don't know where the story will go, now that KotA is going on, but I think I will simply keep on writing what I like.

Who: Open Where: Lupine Lane When: A December evening, 2024

Benji had never been a big fan of winter. He didn't like being cold, he always got sick and SAD plagued him every year. He often wondered why he moved North instead of South on days like this. New Orleans was looking mighty nice, to be perfectly honest, with its humidity and his beloved India House hostel. But he was trying not to wander anymore, trying to be as close to a sensible adult person as he could be. And Marrock was where he’d chosen to stay, at least for the time being. He had a job. He had his own place. He had friends, or at least people who didn’t seem to hate him.  So he was going to put up with winter.

Still, at the moment, he wasn’t a fan.

It was his day off and what he really wanted to do was hole up by himself, huddle in his chair with a blanket and watch stupid horror movies. Maybe even go with a Christmas theme; The Killing Tree and Jack Frost and The Gingerdead Man. Smoke a joint. Eat some pop tarts.

But.

There was always a ‘but’, wasn’t there? But. He was not only trying to be a sensible adult person, he was also trying to keep the melancholy at bay, and he could already feel its icy fingers latching at him. Isolating himself was not the best course of action and he knew it.

And so, feeling leaden, he sighed and got bundled up, complete with stripey scarf and flappy hat, and went out the door to see the neighborhood Christmas lights (though he allowed himself the joint before leaving). His own place was a chaos of multi-colored, mismatched lights and shiny tinsel trees to reflect them…and a vintage Halloween blow mold of a ghost that he’d forgotten to put away and decided to call thBoots crunching in the snow and breath puffing out in misty plumes, he paused at each residence, studying the displays solemnly. This was Benji being festive.

Curious as to what you think about that mysterious solider in black? Do you think it’s Tech?

Hmm, I’m very much 50/50 about this.

So first of all, if it reveals to be Tech, it won’t be our Tech.

Kinda just like how Rex isn’t Fives and how Fives isn’t Echo and how Echo is not the same as all the other regular clones. Same DNA/cloning perhaps but just a different version of himself.

If we’re being logical about this, when Tech sacrificed himself and fell, his body - to be blunt - would’ve most likely exploded on impact because one, physics and two, plastoid is not the sturdiest of armours. Therefore if it is Tech or a version of him, it’d be his blood but not him.

BUT, another part of me thinks it’s not him at all. It could literally be a cloned version of someone else entirely and dare I say, maybe Cody didn’t go AWOL? Maybe they had a different plan for him which could lead to an amazing battle between himself and Rex.

But from my personal perspective, I do not want it to be Tech.

I can not mourn him again.

It can be hard to tell apart unless you have a red saber to compare it to (like Marrock's), but Shin's lightsaber has always been orange! No idea what it's intended to mean

Name: Marrock Follower Form: Purple Wolf Pronouns: He/Him Affiliation: Cult of the Lost One (current), Cult of the One Who Waits (former), Cult of the Fanatic (former) Position: Guardian

Story: Hatched from a Silver Egg and raised in (what is now referred to as) the Cult of the Fanatic, Marrock was a child who always felt he was directionless and that he had no reason to live but to act as sacrificial fodder for the Gods. And he felt that way until the arrival of Evie, a travelling prophet and the bearer of the Pink Crown. Evie had given Marrock a prophecy; he would be the guardian and first follower to the future bearer of her crown, her adoptive child Pepromene. Following this, Marrock felt a renewed sense of purpose, and began to train himself in combative arts and medicine so he could fulfil his role when the time came.

Shortly after he came of age, however, Evie lost her godhood, her crown lost to the winds, and was slated to be used as a sacrifice at the hands of the Fanatic. At Evie's request and the child's protests, Marrock took Pepromene, who had inherited their adopted mother's gift of prophecy, and escaped the Cult during the sacrificial ceremony, leaving Evie to die.

After travelling for weeks on end, the two eventually came into contact with the newest bearer of the Red Crown, a cat by the name of Narinder, and joined his Cult as one his first followers. The two spent time in his care, feeling it to be a true home. Marrock served both as Pepromene's bodyguard and as the head of Narinder's personal enforcers during the war of the Gods. There, he lived a fulfilled life.

Eventually, however, the Five Bishops of the Old Faith began fighting amongst themselves, and Marrock learned from Pepromene that the war would end with Narinder falling to his siblings in combat, and that a long slumber awaited the remnants of the Cult of the One Who Waits.

When Master Narinder was finally locked away, Marrock and Pepromene took their fellow survivors and went into hiding, eventually falling into an enchanted crystal cavern and being frozen in time.

Now, a millennia later, their frozen slumber has ended, and the Pink Crown has made itself at home upon Pepromene's head. Marrock now stands by their side as their first loyal follower, and swears to protect his Master and their crown, acting in their name until his dying day.

Me: I bet "The Cavalry Has Arrived" is going to parallel "Rookies" because Echo is wearing the white armor and it's dangerous to go outside, especially after an enormous beast climbs up from hell and eats someone and there is going to be a sacrifice in which one person gets shot but blows up the lab like Hevy did and Grievous said "we can't let a few puny clones stop us" and clones are going to be the reason Tantiss gets blown to smithereens. ...maybe you're reading too much into this, calm down, girl.

Finale: That's what happens.
