DBH hc mfs, what do y'all think about Russia and China android and military tech? I know we ain't got much information from the game but still something.
We know Russia got some advanced military androids (also more resistant than US ones in some points) and less "human", they ain't got that much focus on domestic models but it's something that probably exists. Ah, and they also got the same/similar thirium system tech. Idk much about China, but i think they do 'em own tech (ofc copying a few things) and android tech is something more weaponized (military) and for other dangerous explorations - same as Russia.
Tell me y'all ideas.

Markus's influence to Connor's character is meanwhile underrated, but honestly, it's not the fandom's fault. I think it was written poorly and indeed gives an impression as if Markus was almost like any other deviant in his story, just kinda accidentally ending up being the last push needed. That's not the case, obviously, but it isn't really written in a way to make it feel like it. They interact too little and it's like the scene wasn't really set for them. The conversion, which should have been like one of the biggest moments of the game instead feels fucking underwhelming. You can disagree, but that's just the way I feel.
It's like they weren't given as much thought in their deviant-route interaction beyond their cookie-cutter roles for the plot. It wasn't as impactful as it could, as it should have been. It's implied to be important but not actually expanded on, it kinda falls flat. Machine route Connor vs Markus has so much more chemistry in comparison to deviant route it's just unfair.
If only their fight was inevitable in both routes, if only they could have actually interacted with each other more, actually have the conflict of their interests explored more before deviancy finally cracking Connor open. If only 😭

DBH imagines
In DBH we see news snippets of the Arctic tensions and (potential) war. I included some of the in-game articles at the bottom for your reference, but you don't have to read them.
Imagine the android foot soldiers dressed in white camo, their scanning system highlighting the movement of wildlife and faraway machines. A mission flickers up on their internal HUD as they crunch along the icy ground, hunkered down and peering through the blue scopes on their rifles.
The first androids to deviate were fighting in the trenches. The Ice Cutters shred the ice into complex tunnels and trench-ways, their black guns peeping over the edges. The first US battalion to undergo fire threw themselves into cover. A separated Trojan gasps reflexively as he lays behind an ice boulder, blue blood seeping out from the hole in his shoulder. He stuffs the wound with a medical plug, its effectiveness akin to slapping duct tape on a fence. It'll hold. It'll have to. The mission on his HUD is compelling him to run across the field as a sacrificial distraction for the rest of his unit. His world quakes as he resists, and his LED turns red while his system pulls down the walls around him.
Thirium is spilled. The monotony of the white landscape broken up with blue blood sprayed across its once pristine surface. If a drone took an aerial picture, the desolate, snowy ground could pass off as an early 20s Carl Manfred painting. A human engineer seeks out the battlefield in order to retrieve any Trojan androids that could be repaired. Her nails and lips are cracked, her eyelashes frosted. She crouches to the snow, a knee sinking into the wet slush. Her fingers touch the slash of thirium at her fore. Her grey eyes scan the frozen, mangled bodies. Something bad happened here. A drop of blood from her cracked lip drops onto the ice, adding her own red human stain.
After a US android and a Russian android train their guns on each other, they choose not to shoot. They form an unlikely friendship, starting with sharing unsavoury opinions about the war. Every so often, they'd sneak out to meet each other, drink thirium and laugh, and discuss what they thought the rest of the world was like without the carnage. They form a kinship rooted in brotherly love, mercy, and roasting the everliving shit out of each other.
A military paramedic, dressed in a white shiny uniform that adorned red triangles, stares at her first patient. His white chest sparks, half his biocomponents missing. From his only limb, a metal arm stent jutted through the cavity of his gut. No face, just an eyeball staring frantically back at her. "Kill me," he requests from the voice box in his open throat. The barrier around the paramedic quivers. Her LED cycles red. "Don't send me back out there." She must decide his fate for herself. Her system outline tears at the grid around the hospital bed.
A Russian Myrmidon, dressed in a dark blue swimsuit, pulses his flippers through the water, a laser saw on the end of his marine harpoon. His neon LED, the only light in the void. The drag of the ocean lures him to the hull of the enemy reinforcement ship. He swivels into position. His scan calculates the precise location of where his harpoon needs to penetrate the ship. With a specialised red laser, he quickly cuts a perfect circle in the thick metal hull. The vibrations in the sea notify him of the alarms wailing on board. He pushes himself off the bottom of the ship, shoots the circle with the harpoon, and grits his teeth as he forces the broken hull down. The ocean is strong, but he's stronger. He unplugged the metal. The ship will sink. Mission successful.
Two comrades are in the front line, and they're hiding in cover. One's heart is defective. The other is compatible. Cue Markus and Simon scene, but it's in a blizzard. And this time they're actually gay.
A kick-ass Mad Max Fury Road truck chase scene where the US races across the tundra. The driving android catches a glimpse of sapphire Russian snowmobiles in the side-view mirror. She slams down the accelerator. The huge cargo truck barrels through the snow and a bullet zips through the window, catching her by the arm and spraying blue blood over the windscreen. She hisses and calls: "Contact!" Her squad mates are already engaged in the car-to-truck-top firefight. She yanks the wheel down to smash a car into the next ice spire, one she narrowly avoids. On the other side, she yanks the wheel down again, but this time, the whole truck skids sideways on aquamarine ice. She attempts to fix the wheel, but the truck keeps going, and going, and going, in one long howling drift across a frozen lake. Far into the abyss below, the surface bellows in warping cracks that echo like the call of an eldritch creature. She finds grip on solid ground. Wheel, straight. The truck catches traction and hurls itself back into control. The race continues.
The androids don't want to fight the polar bears since they're extremely endangered, so the soldiers promptly run away from them. Imagine an escape sequence with tropes like "creature too big to fit into small space so it gnashes and claws at you" and "jumping off a cliff from a waterfall and into a pool below to get away from the scary creature".
Themes like 'polar opposites' because they're all at the north pole. Red vs Blue theme continuation from the canon game.
Deviant androids argue back with their human commanding officers, who are dressed in thick red fatigues. The humans on both sides are having trouble keeping control over the situation. The androids are bonding. Forming alliances. Ones they shouldn't be forming. It's cold. The humans shouldn't be here. The androids raise their guns. They found out the truth about why they're here. The thirium. The minerals that rightly belong to androids worldwide. "Leave," a Myrmidon commands. "The minerals belong to our people. You fear for your people's wealth. I fear for my people's lives."
I have so many more ideas. Maybe I'll just make my own game at this point lmao
Bonus: If happened after canon DBH and CyberLife ending is canon, Nines is sent into the war as a negotiator.

I played Detroit: Become Human like it was Dungeons and Dragons (rolling dice left and right based off of these character sheets I made, with the help of @detroitbecomeonline). Here’s how it went:
First off, I rolled d4s to decide dialogue options, then d20s + their ability/proficiency modifiers for general checks and saves, and even initiative and attack rolls.
AND Each Character got their own dice set because I just so happen to have 3. So I only roll for each character using their corresponding dice set.
It honestly started off a bit slow. Connor rolled terrible investigation and didn’t notice shit about Daniel, then got himself killed by sacrificing himself to save Emma.
The first few chapters are pretty inconsequential so the most that happened were wacky dialogue options and also for fun I rolled a Stealth check for Markus to see if he could avoid the protestors and he Could Not.
I determine these things by setting what I’m calling “Room DCs”: for each character, the environment they’re in has a minimum DC they need to roll higher than on investigation, perception, stealth, etc. Each room DC varies on the characters’ proficiencies in investigation. Connor’s room DC is 18 bc his investigation is highest, then Markus whose room DC is 16, then Kara whose room DC is 15… It makes sense I promise.
(The Room DCs only apply to non-characters though, like investigating an environment. For situations like Markus avoiding the protestors, I rolled a Stealth check for him and a Perception check for them. They won.)
In Partners, everything was going great, Connor rolled high investigation and found all the evidence… but then when relaying that evidence to Hank, the d4 fucked me over and had Connor insisting that both the android and the victim attacked each other “without a weapon”, to which Hank called bullshit and the mission failed. Oh well.
Kara rolled low Sleight of Hand and was caught stealing by the supermarket guy, so no money for the motel.
She rolled low Persuasion on Alice, so no car. But she rolled high Perception so we found the wire cutters to get into Ralph’s house
Aannnndd then she rolled low Perception so she forgot to grab the gun off the dresser after she finished changing :/
Kara and Connor both rolled high on their Dex saves for the highway chase scene, but Kara rolled higher so she got away.
Off to a very bad start with Hank, thanks to Connor’s d4 that fucking hates me I guess. (pay back for all the times I’ve dissed on Connor?)
I rolled opposing strength checks for Markus and Leo to see if Markus holds his ground or pushes Leo, and yeah Leo Got Pushed.
Connor rolled high investigation and found Rupert… but Rupert rolled a significantly higher Acrobatics check so he got away.
Kara rolled a low wisdom save on Zlatko’s “Forget Spell” so she forgot, but then rolled a high Investigation check so she found all the clues. Thank God.
Connor’s Animal Handling is -2 AND I rolled a 5 so he did not get to pet Sumo in Russian Roulette :’(((
Markus rolled high Acrobatics so he took down the drone, but then the d4 said John wasn’t allowed to join them so they had to run, but the mission was mostly successful.
Uhh Connor rolled high Investigation at the Eden Club but Ripple rolled like an 18 attack roll and Connor’s AC is only 14, so she kicked his ass.
BUT THEN THE D4 MADE HIM SHOOT BOTH TRACIS AS THEY RAN AWAY I WAS FURIOUS
Hank FUCKING hates us
To make everything WORSE, the fucking Bridge chapter, oh my GOD I swear this d4 is literally fucking possessed by Gavin or some shit, bc it kept rolling the WORST dialogue options, and yeah needless to say Hank shot Connor :/
Like it was maddening but also so so funny. Connor kept saying the dumbest shit and Hank’s metre kept going down. He legit said “I know you’re not gonna shoot me, Lieutenant” and then got fucking shot. Dear Lord.
Stratford tower! Markus’s d4 LOVES me. He rolled to Ruse the guards, and then rolled to Shoot the runaway newsboy, so Simon is safe! (for now)
Connor rolled SHIT investigation in Public Enemy AND he kept attacking the wrong kitchen android so they just left. I didn’t even know you could fail that chapter, but Connor sure did.
Midnight Train could’ve gone SO bad, but Kara rolled super high perception, found all the deviant evidence, d4 rolled good dialogue options, and then everything was fine. I was so stressed tho.
Capitol Park was pretty lowkey, other than Markus failing his Acrobatics check, again, and failing to take down the drone. I rolled percentile dice to decide violent or peaceful, 1-50 for pacisfism and 51-100 for violence, and unfortunately I rolled a 40, but the public STILL hates us bc the d4 made Markus shoot Chris :/
Connor fucking shot Chloe so now Hank is gonna fucking kill himself. All because of a stupid d4.
I’m gonna have to replay and see if I can do any better with these dice rolls cause jfc
Freedom March, d4 decided we are attacking. Markus rolled a very high attack roll and a mediocre dex check so he won but with a few missed QTEs. The public HATES US.
Connor found Jericho thanks to the Tracis and a high Investigation check, but then rolled a shit dex save against Gavin’s attack roll of 24. So Gavin killed him LMAO
Fucking shit balls ass motherfucker, as you can imagine, Crossroads went so bad. So first of all, I was right, Connor couldn’t deviate. Oh well. Then when he faced the one soldier guy the d4 rolled “Attack” so I rolled Connor’s attack role and rolled a fucking natural ONE. Against the soldier’s AC of 14. So yeah Connor died again. Then for Kara, I rolled to save Luther thank God, but then when they were escaping the d4 rolled for “Run” and then “Attack”, and APPARENTLY LUTHER ATTACKS FOR YOU??? I DID NOT KNOW THAT. So anyways now Luther is dead too bc he saved Kara and Alice. Then, for Markus, I rolled a SHIT Stealth check so he got shot, only once though! Then d4 rolled and got the Not Intervene unfortunately, rolled a high Strength check to drop the thingy on the soldiers, then d4 rolled to Hide instead of saving Josh which sucks. THEN the d4 actually DID roll to save North, but APPARENTLY if Markus got shot before, his Vital Systems Damage doesn’t let him save North!!! So she fucking died!!! I’M SO SAD😭😭 So now it’s just Markus and Simon, but Simon’s relationship status is at NEUTRAL, which is the lowest I’ve ever gotten with him and idk how I fucked up so badly to make the guy who likes Markus the easiest not give a shit about Markus, I’m crying it’s so funny. Imagine hanging out with a group of people and they all like you but the nicest guy in the group just considers you like a coworker. Embarrassing. Anyways. Markus successfully blew up the ship at least (he rolled an attack roll against the soldiers of 23) so there’s that.
D4 got Carl killed bc his weak white privileged ass can’t stand it when an oppressed man is angry. Fuck him. I literally couldn’t care less. I’m just sad Leo didn’t get his closure.
Simon is our Friend now yay I love gay people
Hank… yeah. And I’ve seen this scene like 4 times now (only once my own, the rest other playthroughs) and I still fucking cry my eyes out every time, I hate d*vid c*ge so much for making that one of Hank’s outcomes I hate that there’s literally no way for Connor to stop him and I hate that it’s entirely determined by his relationship with Connor, idc how much he reminds Hank of his son it shouldn’t fucking matter bc that’s not how depression/suicidal ideation fucking works, I would know. It makes me so damn mad. Anyways wbk Connor’s dice hate me.
Revolutionary Markus babyyyy let’s just hope Simon survives this at least otherwise Markus loses everyone.
It was Connor on the roof with the sniper rifle! Haha, just a little Clue joke for ya. Anyways it was actually Captain Allen on the roof with the handgun, because Connor got his ass beat. Thanks to a nat 1 attack roll. Again.
Yeah I fucking jinxed it, Markus rolled a shit Strength check (which is ironic) in attempting to grab Simon so Simon died. Now Markus is all alone :’((
BUT Markus rolled high attack roll after high attack roll, one missed and he got shot but the rest succeeded so he won the Revolution babyyyy.
Kara rolled high Deception against Oliver’s parents’ low Insight so she took the tickets. Slay.
For the Markus v. Connor, I rolled initiative for both of them, and where Markus rolled an 18 Connor got a nat 1. Again. Maybe I should redo this but only use one set of dice for all three of them. I don’t believe in dice superstition, but this is just ridiculous. So anyways then I rolled attack rolls for both of them and Markus hit while Connor missed. So Connor gets killed dead, AGAIN. Which I mean I’m not at all complaining, I LOVE watching Markus beat his bitch ass up.
Side note, when Markus wins the revolution, since all of his friends are dead, one of the Zac Efron looking Chad bots tells him they won, that the soldiers are fleeing, and he says it so cheerfully it made me laugh so hard. Markus is standing there, broody as fuck, carrying the weight of the war and the Toll of the Dead (d&d pun intended) on his shoulders, and here’s this Just Some Guy android jumping up and down excitedly, clapping his hands and cheering “we won!”. It’s so funny.
I’m so upset. Kara and Alice made it all the way through, but since Luther died, and I rolled a low Stealth check so I couldn’t save Jerry, she couldn’t sacrifice anyone else, then of the “sacrifice self” or “no sacrifice” I rolled the latter, so they both got shot. I’m so mad. Literally no one gets a good ending in this God forsaken game
Except technically Markus because he won but also he lost everyone, so did he really win?
Anyways this sucked balls I cannot believe this is literally the worst playthrough I’ve had yet. I wanna redo this but tbh I don’t wanna restart from the beginning, so maybe tell me what chapter I should start at? Cause most the beginning chapters are inconsequential.
That’s all! Hope you had fun reading!

Of Roses and Ravens Day 9
Detroit: Become Human Prompt Challenge from @connor-sent-by-cyberlife
Day Nine-Harvest
Words-721
Ao3 or
Zlatko Andronikov had always found this place creepy. Even before that damn revolution, it had been called a graveyard, but he found the term to be highly misleading. Graveyards were still, silent, not writhing mounds of half-functioning bodies.
It wasn’t that he cared about the androids there. No, they were just broken machines, glitching and spasming to fragmented lines of code. But having a corrupted voice call out suddenly, or a disembodied hand grabbing and refusing to let go would unsettle anyone.
“Get a move on!” He shouted at the hulking android following him. “Gavno, you’re useless. I should sell you like the rest of them.”
Luther followed after him wordlessly, his expression blank as it always was, unaffected by Zlatko’s threat.
They picked their way across the filth. As much as Zlatko hated this place, it was exceptionally useful. Many of the androids had been tossed out with only minor issues and a plethora of working biocomponents making it  a cornucopia of unclaimed parts, ripe for the picking.
Zlatko swore as his foot slipped on what was once a jaw-plate. This was so much easier before the revolution. With deviant androids able to walk around freely, his trap had lost it’s bait. Without openly abducting them, new stock was hard to come by.
He pulled out a dirty, but still perfectly functional optical unit, ignoring the screams of protest from the WB200 it came from. He tossed it to Luther to put with the other scavenged parts. Piecing together complete androids from these scraps was tedious and getting more frustrating by the day. His own experiments had almost completely come to a stop, not having the resources to spare anymore.
But, that was a sacrifice Zlatko was willing to make as long as there was still a market for them. Owning androids was illegal now, but that just sweetened the pot for many of his buyers. They may have become harder to acquire, but he had been able to jack the price up to more than compensate.
He swore again, tugging on the head of a PC100 that didn’t want to budge. “Luther!” he called. “Bolt cutters!” Luther complied, handing him the tool before moving away again.
The head came off as he cut away what remained of the spinal column. Zlatko didn’t have time to be delicate. He had no doubt that even harvesting biocomponents like this would only be an option for so long. That mudak, Markus, would probably clear the graveyard soon. Already ‘rescue’ efforts had started.
Living beings or not, Zlatko didn’t care. They were interfering with his profits.
A functional arm and leg came from a writhing KR200, but when he turned to pass them off to Luther, he was nowhere to be seen. “Luther!” He shouted, but didn’t get any response. He stood up, muttering curses under his breath. The TR400 had become less and less useful lately and it was severely pissing him off.
He found Luther around the corner, beyond a mound of mangled bodies that put even his projects to shame. “Luther! I called you! Is your audio processor broken, you piece of junk?”
Luther remained where he was, staring solemnly at a female android half buried in the pile. It was still partially active and singing softly to itself.
Zlatko only looked at it briefly. “That thing’s too damaged, it’s not worth it,” he said. “Besides, if I want to sell an AX400, I’d sell the suka back home.” He handed him the disembodied limbs. “Put these with the rest. We need to get going.”
He didn’t wait for a response, turning away to grab any last minute pieces before they left. The less time he spent here, the better.
“Kara,” he heard Luther say from behind him.
Zlatko turned back, more annoyed than anything else. “What?”
Luther looked him in the eye and he felt a chill run through him at the intensity of the stare. There was an awareness there that had been absent since Zlatko had reset him. “Her name is Kara.”
---
When the rescue crew from New Jericho arrived the next morning, they were surprised to find a human corpse among the rubble. He had been beaten to death. Left bruised and broken, crumpled in a pool of his own blood. Nearby, an AX400 sang softly.
