How to Register a Trademark: A Step-by-Step Guide
Registering a trademark for your brand is crucial to protect your intellectual property and establish exclusive rights to use your mark in commerce. A trademark serves as a valuable asset, safeguarding your brand identity and preventing others from using similar marks that may cause confusion among consumers. This should not be confused with registering a business name. In some instances, your…

Double Trouble
During a convention in Gotham, the Fentons brought the rebuilt Fenton Ghost Catcher, they were extremely proud of their invention and were going to catch as many ghosts as possible at their paranormal convention.
But as is normal in Gotham, a rogue attacked. Croc personally wasn't too interested in what was going on there but he was paid by some others to cause a distraction while some villains robbed the place and extra money was always great.
From the looks of it, the news that the Fentons were coming to Gotham were public. The Fentons were known as very reclusive weapon makers with peculiar interests. Their inventions sold very well, and were extremely dangerous so Peguin assumed that even if they were destined for "ghosts" they would work perfectly fine with bats.
Jason already knew that the two weapon inventors were in the city, the Bat was too paranoid not to know, but the Fentons never showed that they wanted to cause harm so when Croc attacked Red Hood was guarding the place.
The problem was that during the battle he was pushed into the Ghost Catcher and separated into two halves. One looked like the normal him but more ghostly? while the other was more lively and energetic. The second one looked like a bigger version of what Robin would have been without his death. Of course, the invention blew up right after that, and the Fentons looked sad.
Danny scrambled to hide both Jason before his parents noticed, motioning for him to be quiet as he watched the villains make off with the anti-ghost weapons. He knew the convention would turned into a mess since the beginning.
#dp x dc#dc x dp#dpxdc#The Fentons are knew as eccentric out of Amity#but they also sold weapons#that's how they earned money for their inventions#They probably sell it to the government#But you are not going to tell me their weapons avoided the Black Market#Nah#they are probably known as weapon makers#Geniuses that create the most dangerous weapons#but are more interested in weird topics#like ghosts#dp x dc prompt#dp x dc crossover#Danny will follow the rogues later#he is having a crisis about the two Jason rn#HE DISCOVERED HOOD IDENTITY BY ACCIDENT#Danny needs to repair the Ghost Catcher AGAIN#And take care of whole man that was divided in two#The attitudes of the Two Jason are opposite#dead on main#probably#The two Jason probably are uncomfortable with each other and make Danny's work more difficult#because they keep escaping#they are probably confusing the bats a lot too lol

agatha all along is great and joe locke absolutely kills it but something about hearing the word "queer" spoken out loud in a flagship disney property still feels homophobic somehow
#inside of you are two wolves#one wolf says that corporations highlighting queer characters is good because it showcases an increasing acceptance in the media#the other wolf says that disney is co-opting queer identities solely so they can market them for their own profit#agatha all along#joe locke#billy maximoff#william kaplan#marvel cinematic universe#mcu#disney#koolmathgames.com

Is the English teacher good? I believe in bja supremacy but the trailer made it look like very standard sitcom humor
it's honestly pretty solid! i would say it's more toned down than caleb gallo and they're doing something a bit closer to sitcom-brand pseudorealism but a lot of the signature stuff (odd/unnatural-sounding dialogue, the camera work during conversations, the visual gags, the casual absurdism, etc) is still there. i do think that it's not hitting the sort of pat heartwarming triumph beats that i would expect from a standard sitcom with the same premise, and there's a lot of interest in exploring sort of casual self-absorption which has always been an interesting aspect of the characters bja writes/plays. i think it's worth trying out an ep or two and they are only 20 minutes! and his take on what's funny about being gay in sort of a modern american context has always been a lot more interesting and resonant to me than 99% of other "gay comedy" writing
#i have actually a lot of thoughts about the development of a sort of mainstream gay sitcom vocabulary#i do think that english teacher is subject to some of those same pressures due to just the nature of being a prime time network sitcom#but i think it does a decent job of walking that line between having a distinct creative identity and being marketable enough to succeed#it did feel recognizably like it's written for the same sort of audience as caleb gallo#it just also has some slightly easier access points for people who might need to be eased in to his style#anonymous#ask and receive

why are all the queer stories romance (unless they're about the 1 token ace person)
#saw a cool looking kickstarter of a book of queer stories#messaged the creator to ask how many had romance#the answer was 'all of them except the one with the ace protag'#which is. fine. and i'm glad i checked before i backed it.#but the marketing did not suggest that it was romance focused. just queer focused. particularly with a wide range of identities#a couple stories were specifically described as romance. the others had other premises that sounded interesting#and i was like oh this is cool. i'd be down to read a non-romance story about a bi character#or a cool adventure with a trans character#yknow#but no. they all have romance#this is not the creators' fault or anything. to be clear. they are telling queer stories and that's great#and i am simply not in their target audience#but i wish the marketing had been clearer#and i wish it did not feel so much like queer representation = romance. except for the singular ace/aro character#stars rambles#amatonormativity#shipping culture#(tagging those for followers who filter related topics)

i'm into horror for a lot of reasons, but one of them is that it has this capability for externalising a kind of violence that is often only felt, not seen. my favourite works of horror use experiences like mental illness or oppression as springboards - they elevate psychological terror into something you can actually see and fight against. like, yeah, depression DOES sometimes feel like you have a monster living in your cellar that nobody can see except you! puberty DOES sometimes feel like you're transforming into something weird and dangerous! that's why i often find horror movies so cathartic - even comforting, in some cases.
and that's why i originally started to explore splatterpunk - because i read exquisite corpse and loved it, because it was a queer novel by a queer author that took the political violence of the aids crisis and made it literal, blew it up to a monstrous scale that matched the monstrous pain felt by the victims and their families. it felt genuinely subversive. it felt visceral. and then i read a bunch of other splatterpunk fiction, and was disappointed to discover that most of it was just an excuse for men to self-publish their badly-written snuff porn.
#if you've followed me for any amount of time you'll know that i am profoundly anti-censorship and pro-sicknasty fiction#and i usually try to separate the author's identity from their work#but i have no stomach for stories by cishet men that are committed to exploring all the ways in which a woman's body can be brutalised.#it is not interesting to me. i don't enjoy it#unfortunately that seems to make up the vast majority of the current extreme horror market#depressing!#violence cw#rape cw#horror tag

my theory is that people aren't actually as tired of musical adaptations as they think they are because some of the most popular musicals both in general and right now are adaptations in some form or another. the issue is that recently there have been a lot of musical adaptations of properties that simply do not lend themselves well to the stage
#i wrote two paragraphs trying to explain this point this is my condensed take. i've been thinking about it today...#i also think the issue is when shows start leaning on their recognizable ip as a marketing crutch#rather than taking the leap into the show having its own unique identity. because historically that is what tends to make a show succeed#.txt

"We're nothing more than toys to these gods, Marinette!" Adrien continued to dodge her strikes, that accursed spinning yo-yo whirring past his ears every instance it was thrown and retrieved. "They're going to get rid of us soon, taking their side won't change that!" "Maybe they wouldn't want to get rid of us if you played your flipping part!"
The yo-yo missed again, clacking against a wall behind him. Adrien took a breath, the soles of his boots digging further into the ground.
"I did what I had to," he cried out. "My part was slavery, Marinette! My part was torture!" Marinette's tear-stained frown was deep and furious, the corner of her mouth drooping to bare her lower teeth. Her face—her ears—were a bright, blinding red.
"A future with me is torture to you?!"
#the tragedy of sillynette's insistence that her story must revolve around an idealized romance is so personal to me.....#it's exactly what the show does in a meta sense right? so why not have it be diegetic?? it's a central part of the story and it's WRONG#(it's also not totally her fault. she was essentially groomed into a parasocial relationship with adrien by gabriel's marketing tactics)#but also the contrast in what both marinette and adrien consider to be “his part” is just... AAAUGHHHH#to adrien his role involved being abused and exploited and having to just let that happen to him.#to marinette his role was to finally fall in love with her after she finally “proved herself” as ladybug and to live happily ever after#also yeah the maribug lines are intentionally blurred. imagine this is after an identity reveal or something#thewarmembraceofshadow#rotten love square

꒰ ˙ᵕ˙ ﹑𝐚𝐝𝐢'𝐬 𝐛𝐮𝐝𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐦𝐬 ! event requests are closed. inbox: 1/10.
ah, november. how wonderful a month it is.
a late autumn’s breeze tugs at the fabric of your coat, gently urging you down the market’s dirt path. your latest acquisition, a hot drink cradled between your hands, dispels the chills nipping at your skin, leaving both body and soul warm as you peruse the stalls’ offerings. a tote bag filled with previous purchases swings in tandem with your steps, a reminder of just how wonderful a decision it was to visit the yume creator’s market in the first place.
glancing off to the side, a newly set-up stand catches your attention, a pair of silhouettes idly chatting behind their displays. crates of vibrant flowers catch the sun’s golden rays, drops of water glistening like gems against the surface of gorgeous petals and leaves. thoughts of your beloved invade your mind, and you soon find yourself changing course to approach them.
the taller of the duo, a violet-haired man with an egregiously thick book in hand, is the first to notice your presence — though it’s actually his brunette companion who rises to greet you. they gesture eagerly to their goods, a small smile pulling at their lips as they introduce themself and their partner, who nods along in agreement to their words. touched by your desire to purchase a bouquet for yours, they quickly reach for a clipboard and pen.
“so,” they begin, “what would you like today?”
001 ﹑guidelines.
i'll be writing selfship drabbles / ficlets for this event, which you can expect to be somewhere around 500 to 1,000 words long. while i'll do my best to complete any requests as quickly as possible, university may slow me down.
when submitting a request, please include as much detail as you possibly can about your selfship! dynamics, ship memes, picrews — anything works!
i won't be accepting any other selfship requests involving dr. ratio, as he's my "main" selfship for the event. my other f/o's are fair game, however, both for requesting your own selfships or asking about mine!
as i'm not yet fully caught up with penacony's / natlan's storylines, any writing i do for their casts may be ooc. i apologize for this in advance!
002 ﹑choose a centerpiece.
red rose: symbols of romance, commitment, and undying love. uncontestable in their popularity, different quantities of these flowers harbor their own hidden meanings. ↪ ꒰ baking together꒱
white yarrow: symbols of courage, restoration, and adoration. named after the greek hero achillies, they possess the ability to cure several maladies and stop bleeding. ↪ ꒰ lazy mornings ꒱
gardenia: symbols of harmony, affection, and rebirth. having represented secret love within the victorian era, they're still commonly used to express feelings for crushes. ↪ ꒰ fall picnics ꒱
honeysuckle: symbols of happiness, devotion, and protection. you recall learning of their medicinal properties while examining them, fingertips gliding over curled petals. ↪ ꒰ snowball fights ꒱
white peony: symbols of romance, happiness, and prosperity. a long, long time ago, you'd sit cross-legged before a tv screen, decorating block houses with tall lilac buds. ↪ ꒰ ice skating ꒱
pink hyacinth: symbols of rebirth, playfulness, and all-permeating love. beautiful baby pink buds gather on lush green stems, a gorgeous display their of everlasting unity. ↪ ꒰ huddling for warmth ꒱
write-in: decisiveness doesn't have to be a bad thing. there's no shame in striving to achieve an outcome you're aiming for, after all, so just go ahead and give it your all. ↪ ꒰ create your own prompt ꒱
003 ﹑choose some wrapping paper.
clear cellophane: simple, but classic, and absolutely perfect for all the minimalists out there. red hearts line the edges, reminding you of the flowers sold in grocery stores. ↪ ꒰ canon compliant ꒱
translucent cellophane: lacking any printed designs, the varying colors of these semi-opaque sheets provide their own spin on the classic. layer sheets to create gradients. ↪ ꒰ modern au ꒱
embroidered tulle: embellished with all kinds of cute yarn flowers, this wrapping paper is sure to bring joy to all who see it. you recall favoring such styles during your youth. ↪ ꒰ university au ꒱
printed paper: endless patterns mean endless possibilities, a thought terrifying to some. they come with mini notecards, perfect for expressing any urgent sentiments. ↪ ꒰ mutual pining ꒱
004 ﹑submit your order.
"finally," adi calls out, piercing through peaceful silence as they place their clipboard before you, pointing at an empty section near the bottom of your order form, "i'll just need you to write the name of the special someone you'd like to address this bouquet to, as well as confirm everything you've chosen thus far. that is to say, your completed order form should follow this format: ꒰flower꒱ + ꒰wrap꒱ + ꒰f/o꒱."
"you can drop it off in that little 'inbox' besides me once you're finished. we'll also be accepting orders until 11:59 p.m. est on november 18, 2024, so there's no need to worry if you'd still like some time to mull things over."
they pause for a moment, allowing you to process their words before continuing. "regardless of whether or not you decide to place an order, however, i hope that you have a wonderful rest of your—" you interrupt them, then, as they begin to turn away, one final question slipping past your lips. adi regards you with wide eyes.
"huh? buy something for us? are you sure?" you nod your head, and they smile brightly. "that's awfully sweet of you. really, i appreciate it. and, in that case," they trail off, "go ahead and address your order to adtio. i'll know what you mean when i see it."
"now — thank you for stopping by! i hope you have an amazing day! "

Word's out! I'm enrolling in a specific paid UX/UI design traineeship given in Rotterdam with ties to the international market. Will probably relocate to Rotterdam/The Hague by the end of the year. Hitting a career ceiling in regards to international ambitions, and I decided I cannot continue riding the wave on which I find myself now. I am unplugging the blockage, and it feels like a weight off my shoulders.
The communications field to me is too broad, too unspecific, limited global growth opportunities (unless you are part of some royal network) and too biased/discriminatory/prejudiced. From my experience, much of it revolves around who you are as a person (Dutch employers love 'em happy-go-lucky, blonde, giggly marketing 21 y.o. girlies, and hey that's just not me), instead of the quality of work you deliver.
I am not abandoning communications completely. I just find myself facing closed door after closed door. So for now, let me craft some lush stuff, become great at what I do, and live in international-minded vibrant cities :)
#I feel so revived. Like the Jenny Holzer billboard “you saw a way to survive and you were full of joy” lol#5 years ago I'd say ending up as a designer/storyteller for web apps feels lame. but I prioritize my career now as a means to gain freedom#- Not as a title that is synonymous to my whole identity#Besides I got my artichoke business plan as back-up whenever I am sick of flipping computer work lol 🤘 I'm doing cool#Also the career opportunities/salary within the field of marketing are prospected to be highest for UX-designers till at least 2038!#fuck yeah#personal

Btw this is very random and out of the blue but i had a fem sorcvalier idea like they're lesbians but Rui is fem and Tsukasa is a butch like i just had a thought im curious about your opinion
lowkey this is just my usual sorcevalier LMFAOOO ..
the curse of being a lesbian insane abt a mlm ship is that i must yurify everything. they are both girls and boys to me at the same time. this constitues lesbianism.
do i refer to any of my ruikasas as fem (aside from my explicitly tfem au)? no. does this mean that they aren't also girls? no. schrödinger's gender, if you will.
#ask#the sanitization of queer identities yadda yadda all that matters is love and peace#if it doesn't make sense to you that's fine.#but gender and sexuality has never been something that can be perfectly segmented into specific groups#and it sucks that people tend to believe there are only so many identities and options. like no make it what you want. be free#SORRY THIS TURNED INTO A RANT i just think abt queer sanitization and marketability a lot

“miku as your home culture really shows that the USA has no culture” discussion has lost the plot. say it with me folks . it’s not that USamericans don’t have a culture it’s that we’ve so aggressively globalized it that people feel it’s the “default” rather than an amalgamation of the popular culture we produce and export and explicit geopolitical decisions. it’s neocolonialism. this is like. necessary to understand if you’re going to meaningful critique the USA’s impact on the rest of the world culturally and otherwise
#not to MENTION you could 100% do that trend with individual regions within the USA. or states. because the US *does* have#unique regional cultures. the country is just ridiculously big and the perception of it by non-USAmericans is heavily defined by the upper#middle class southern california experiences platformed by hollywood#and if not literally that it’s perceptions of *other* regional american cultures as filtered through said uppermiddle socal lens.#no society has *zero* culture. that’s not how culture works. the US has just played the cultural long con of imposing our neuroses on other#and suppressing our internal variation for the sake of national identity and marketing#text✨#the reason why so many people who are mad at the US think the US doesn't have a culture is an additional reason to be mad at the US

I played Never Grave's demo so I could see if it had any ambition at all beyond smashing a bunch of popular things together to create something kind of interesting and in short:
no lol
The unique mechanic, possession, is so sidelined you might as well be playing as the Cutesy Witch Character that is the mascot despite being a hat that possesses corpses, because it's not actually a hollow knight style metroidvania, it's smashing hollow knight's style and pacing into dead cells' room generation and enemy placement and creates an unhappy compromise that makes me wish it would shit or get off the fucking pot. It also has drops which are supposed to incentivize replay so you can get upgrades and whatnot, but what it mostly does is make me resent how transparently shoehorned the mechanic is.
also why is the build mode so crusty
Oh also this area is like 50% of the demo (since it is the area you actually do all the combat exploration in):
If you have a game that is making me think, at all times "man i wish i was playing another, better game that looks like this/plays like this that I enjoyed more" you've failed to give your game a unique identity and that, more than anything, irritates the shit out of me. The video game industry is built on clones, at least make it a fucking GOOD clone that isn't creatively bankrupt.
Also they have the whole roguelike random upgrade thing going on but they all feel pretty meaningless because there's no real indication or sense of balance. Everything feels like it's there because it has to be there, because it's popular, instead of trying to have some kind of creative identity and stand on its own. It's deeply, agonizingly mediocre. It feels like it was designed by a fucking marketing team because This Is What's Popular, Right?
Which sucks. Because I would play a game about being a fucked up little creature that possesses corpses to get around! But it doesn't even commit to that premise enough to get me interested, DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH OF A SUCKER I AM FOR EVEN THE SLIGHTEST BIT OF AESTHETIC PANDERING?
Also there's no flavor text or lore or plot which like, if there was SOMETHING i could be interested. There is fucking nothing. It feels like someone slapped this together from a bunch of premade templates and expects you to get excited about it.
ALSO IT'S GOING TO BE ANOTHER EARLY ACCESS GAME, FROM A STUDIO THAT SEEMS TO PRODUCE NOTHING BUT EARLY ACCESS GAMES THAT NEVER MAKE IT OUT OF EARLY ACCESS, JESUS CHRIST POCKETPAIR
#this is also my beef with palworld#at best it's an amateurish smashing together of things that the devs think are cool with no attempts to synergize#at WORST it's cynical marketing jargon#i shouldn't be thinking 'this feels like it was synthesized in a lab'#I don't hate Never Grave for being ''a hollow knight ripoff''#i hate it for being mediocre and creatively bankrupt#either its soulless because it was made out of components that were individually popular#or its too cowardly to have a creative identity
