up way past my bedtime, but the people were right about supersonic 2016. a magical magical movie... escalating haze of three spectacular years, never to be recreated again. the precognition and just knowing what's going to happen while stuck in history. everything happens for a reason and destiny is real; somebody hammered the music into him & my old fella beat the talent into me. incredible songs that just come out from seemingly nowhere, some mystical place in the right time in the right place. mythical and biblical and intense. and cathartic, there was something special and beautiful about the stage back then.

I don’t much care about the personal lives of musicians / singers I like, much less their partner’s lives, and if anything I’m just inclined to assume they’re grand people (naturally enough), but you do end up getting a good few random anecdotes about wives and gfs from listening to interviews, and I have to say … Sara MacDonald just doesn’t seem like a very nice person. not my business of course, so whatever
