Something I missed from the podcast version of Edge of Sleep that didn’t make it into the adaptation was The Moogles. It was the episode that really sold me on the premise. The mix of silliness and terrifying was a perfect example of the absurdity of dreams.

Something I’m glad they cut was the serial killer. It just felt so random and tropey. Replacing him with an old woman dying of cancer that Katie knew personally really fit the overall tone MUCH better.

Is your room covered in posters, or pretty bare? As of only a few days ago, they're almost completely bare now. I'm redecorating in there. I'm leaving most posters behind.

Meerkats have been my longest-lasting and most well-known, but online I'm also very open about my extreme Rammstein hyperfixation (I say "online" because irl I am very embarrassed by being someone who hyperfixates and I don't like sharing), the Silent Hill franchise, watching YouTube, tarantulas...

Addictions? Technology, specifically the Internet. I barely know how to exist without it, and it's sad. I'm aware I'm also addicted to soda, albeit this is an addiction I'm more capable of actually fighting, but I still have a few bottles (not two-liters, don't be mistaken) a week.

What are your #1 priorities in life? My happiness, health (mental and physical), maintaining healthy and fulfilling relationships, and trying to figure out my purpose and what I want to live for (this includes working towards a career of some sort).

I'm probably going BACK to Charlotte next weekend because Girt's picking up a really nice exercise bike Javier has for sale, so he has to pick that up because shipping would be like, $500. The bike is rather small so would fit into Girt's bedroom, and he plans on facing it towards his TV so he can just be on the bike while watching YouTube.

What are you reading currently? Nothing right now; I recently finished the Omen of the Stars arc in the Warriors series, so now I need to order the next arc.

Where do you most hope to visit? The KMP grounds in South Africa.

For what would you be famous? I feel that I'm most CAPABLE of being famous for my writing, but I WANT to be well-known for my photography, at least in the photography community; truly "famous" photographers are extremely few and far between.

When did you last cry? And why, if you feel like sharing. Last night. I had an anxiety attack.

Would you ever want to go back to school? So... as of extremely recently I am considering going back for some sort of writing degree. I don't want to be an author, I just feel like a degree in my strongest skill might come in handy for getting SOME sort of job in writing.

What is the wallpaper on your cell phone? Lock screen is this gorgeous artwork featuring a skull with flowers, butterflies, and bees, and my home screen is another piece of artwork that's a simplistic monarch butterfly texture.

What do you have handy at your bedside? Two lamps (only one is usually on, my little moon one, but the bigger one is for if I need more light), sometimes my phone, the remote for my moon lamp (it can change colors), and whatever book I'm reading.

When did you last sing to yourself? When I was otw home from Charlotte with Girt.

What is the greatest accomplishment of your life? Healing from my trauma with Jason, I think. I could say still being alive, because boy have I wanted to kill myself plenty of times, but in a way I feel like healing from Jason was even harder. A big reason I'm still alive is because I was just too afraid of the experience of killing myself, so like... surviving was the only option.

What is your opinion on brown eyes? Do not get me wrong, brown eyes can be beautiful, especially in the light. However, it is my least favorite human eye color.

Would you describe yourself as more punk or pastel? The child of both.

How do you feel about tattoos and piercings? Explain. I fucking love them and I'm so glad humans conceived the idea for both. Both can be a method of self-expression, and especially for me, making you enjoy your body more.

Talk about a song/band/lyric that has affected your life in some way. Ozzy Osbourne. He was my bait into metal music, and his music has comforted me since I was a pre-teen, and continues to do so to this day. His music makes me feel warm, and it feels like home to me.

Do you have a desk/workspace and how is it organized/not organized? I have a desk for my laptop. It's got my laptop on it of course, plus the Mira plush Girt got me, the weighted meerkat plush Mom got me, my planner and Girt's work schedule, my therapy workbook, and a few art supplies.

What’s one thing you don’t want your parents to know? I would never share my sexual life with either of them. Specifically kinks, no fucking thanks.

Don’t Cry | Drabble

Author’s Note: Y’all, I couldn’t handle myself. I wrote Markiplier. I love him, okay? This is a drabble, but something full will probably be out in a few days. - Haley xx 

I groaned as I heard Chica scratch her front paws against the closed bedroom door. She was in locked with me and was demanding to get out. I threw back the covers, stood, and stretched. I saw that the alarm clock read 1:55 am and sighed to myself.

I opened up the door and Chica trotted down the hall and down the stairs. On the other side of the hallway, I heard someone whining and rustling. I crept up to the room it was coming from and rested my ear against the door. With the light shining from underneath and the noises continued, I opened the door and saw Mark standing at his desk.

Videos were slacking the past week because of a small impromptu vacation we took to Cincinnati to see his family. Mark was good at keeping his videos regular but this was a no work vacation, which he desperately needed, so now here he was, working his ass off in the middle of the night. “Baby,” I yawned, “come to bed. Work can wait.”

When Mark looked over at me, I could see his eyes were red and puffy. Tears streamed down his cheeks.

I rushed over to him and wrapped my arms around his middle. “Mark, what’s wrong?” I whispered.

Mark wrapped his arms around me tightly, burying his face into my hair. “I love you, so much, Y/N,” he muttered.

“I love you too, Mark, but why are you crying?” I asked him. Mark looked up and I raised my hands up to wipe away his tears.

“There’s a new fan video,” he sniffed. “For my seventeen million subscriber congratulations. Ugh, I’m such a blubbering bitch, but I can’t help it.”

I gave him a small smile. “Mark, they make you those videos because they love you. You’ve done so much for them and – “

“- and you’ve done so much for me,” Mark interrupted.

“I have not,” I said, wiping a new tear that ran down his nose.

Mark grabbed my hands and kissed each knuckle. “Yes, you have, Y/N. You believed in me when I first started youtube when even my own family didn’t. You’ve been on me with during this whole journey, the dumb skits, being in some lets plays, to now holding me while I cry. You mean so much to me.”

I started to tear up. “I can’t give you a fan video to show how much I love you. So, I guess that means I’m a fake fan.” Mark laughed that loud markiplier laugh and pressed kissed around my face. “Come to bed, now, please. It’s not warm anymore since Chica went downstairs.”

“Oh, so now I’m her replacement?” he asked, quirking a brow.

“Baby,” I leaned up and pressed a warm kiss to his lips, “of course you are. You’ve always been..”

Mark: 

You mostly only tickle Mark in bouts of teasing. He’ll jokingly comment on your outfit our how weird your hair looks, and in revenge, you tickle him. For some reason, he’s foolish enough to think he can win in a tickle war, and always attempts to pin you down. You always overpower him, however, and a few tickles on his neck can make him squeal like a pig and admit defeat. Every once in a while, the commotion can excite Chica and lead to her standing on the two of you while you grunt and try to push her off. 

Tyler:

Tyler is probably extremely ticklish in all areas, though he has a strict not tickling rule. It’s not that he doesn’t like to be tickled or is against it, he’s just afraid he’ll hurt you in the midst of squirming and flying limbs. He accidentally kicked you off the couch once, and ever since then refused to let you tickle him. However, every once in a while you can find the perfect scenario and sneak up behind him when he’s sitting to tickle him. You always go for his sides, and just one small pinch can make him squirm like he’s having a seizure and laugh until he can’t breathe. 

Ethan:

Ethan’s typically the one to start the tickling, and he often bests you. He loves to sneak up to you and surprise you with tickles, which can lead to you getting upset. He always apologizes when this happens, and pretends not to notice when he sees you trying to sneak up on him. You always put your hands directly under Ethan’s arms and tickle his armpits, which makes him giggle like a little schoolgirl. You’ve found that the best way to get back at him is to poke the spot in between his shoulder blades. Not only does it tickle, but leads to him bending over and conceding, and can also hurt a bit. No hard feelings, though! All tickle fights and wars end with a sweet kiss. 

Amy: 

Tickles with Amy take place during cuddle times on the couch. Depending on who is bigger, Amy is either laying on you, or you’re laying on Amy. You always brush your nose against her neck or give her soft pecks in the same spot, leading the soft giggles and returned pecks. When you’re not cuddling, you always greet Amy in her pottery studio with the same tactic. Gentle kisses and nuzzles, occasionally a few small pinches on her sides, then you retreat to where Henry is laying and cuddle with him until it’s time to start making dinner. 

Kathryn:

Your relationship with Kathryn isn’t too frisky, and late nights with her often end up with both of you on separate couches, huddled with your own pets and watching a movie, until you retreat to your bedroom and semi-cuddle through the night. You don’t tickle Kathryn that much, which is okay. The times you do tickle is when you’re excited and in an extremely playful mood. You always glide your fingers up her calves, making her squirm and giggle a bit. Whenever this happens, she always tickles you back more, knowing exactly how to make you giggle harder every time and always ending the short tickle-session with a kiss.

One restaurant that my brother worked at had their ‘Ultimate Dipping Sauce’ which was mayo, ketchup(?) and their signiature BBQ sauce. Arctic Circle made the Fry Sauce, but every other restaurant here is trying to innovate further (and won’t tell us the recipes for each iteration).

Depression (Teamiplier Preference)

Mark-

I sit on the couch just staring at the television, not really watching it. Mark sits next to me, his arm draped over my shoulder laughing at the show that's on. My life is great. I have a man I love and who loves me back, we both have great careers, we have a house, and awesome friends; but there are times, like now, where I just feel empty.

"Y/n?" I keep staring, "Y/n, babe?" Mark's hand waving in front of my eyes snaps me out of my thoughts.

"Huh? What did you say? Sorry. Spaced out I guess." I mumble looking at Mark.

"I asked what you wanted for dinner." He explains.

"Whatever you want is fine. I'm just gonna go to bed." I reply, standing up.

His grip catches my wrist, "are you okay?" His brow is furrowed, concern written on his face.

"I just don't feel good." I tell him, pulling my arm away, and heading to our bedroom. I climb in bed, wrapping the comforter around me. Chica climbs on the bed and wedges her way under the blanket. I feel my chest tighten and a small whimper comes from my mouth. "Why am I like this?" I whisper. Rationally, I know everything is fine, but I just feel an aching emptiness and a sense of impending doom. Tears are actively falling against my pillow, I don't even hear the door open.

"Baby, what's wrong?" Mark asks, the bed dipping. I just shake my head. He climbs the rest of the way into bed and pulls me to him. "I'm not gonna make you talk about it, just know I'm here. I always will be."

His arms wrap around me and he runs his fingers through my hair, until I manage to stop crying. I hear his stomach rumble, "Mark go eat." I tell him.

"I've got more important things to worry about right now." He replies, seconds later his stomach growls again.

"Go. I'll be fine." I look up at him.

"You sure?" He asks. I nod. "Well, as soon as I'm done, we're gonna cuddle and go to bed. I love you." "Love you too Mark." I reply. He slides out of bed and again I'm left to my thoughts.

Ethan-

I walk into the kitchen, the smell of food having woke me up. Tyler, Ethan, and Kathryn sitting at the island eating pancakes. "Morning guys." I mumble, making my way over to the coffee pot, pouring a cup and taking a spot next to Ethan.

"So any plans today?" Kathryn asks everyone.

Tyler finishes a bite and says, "Mark wanted us to come over and help film something." Ethan nods.

"Well I've got an appointment today." I say. Ethan looks at me confused, nobody else notices. Tyler and Kathryn continue talking about their plans when Ethan gets up to clean his plate.

I grab my coffee and head back towards mine and Ethan's room. I set my cup on the dresser and pick out my clothes. I settle on just sweats and one of Ethan's shirts. The door opens as I pull my shirt off.

"You didn't say you had an appointment." Ethan says, I turn and see him take a seat on the bed.

"I forgot to tell you. Doctor visit. Gotta have a med evaluation." I tell him.

"Ah. Are they still helping?" He asks.

"Kinda." I reply, pulling my clean clothes on.

"Kinda?" He repeats walking over to me and pulling me into a hug.

"Yeah, I've started feeling a bit off. Like my anxiety is getting worse and I just don't feel as even as before. It's not terrible, just not quite where I want to be." I tell him.

"Well I'm glad you're getting it figured out then. I know how hard it was on you before. It's hard seeing you like that." He tells me.

I look up at him, "I know. Thank you for putting up with me."

"It's quite the inconvenience." He chuckles, "of course babe, it's not putting up with anything. Depression is something you go through, and I'm here for the long haul. It just part of your life, and I plan on helping as much as I can."

Tyler-

I lay in bed, just looking at the ceiling. Tyler is at work, filming a live stream. I stayed home to get some work of my own done, but the last few days my depression has been a bit harder to cope with. My phone rings, if just let it go to voicemail. After a few minutes I look to see who called. It was Tyler. I listen to the message:

Y/n, I'm on my way home. I wanna take you out. I know haven't been doing great. Don't deny it either. You haven't eaten much of anything in three days. Let's go get chicken nuggets and maybe see that one movie you were talking about. If you don't wanna do that we can just hang in bed and watch dumb movies and nap. Whatever you want. Love you, see you in a bit.

I look at the clock, it's 6:37pm. The front door opens and closes. "Babe, I'm home!" Tyler calls.

I hear Ethan reply from somewhere in the house, "Hi baby, I missed you." He laughed soon after.

"Not you, blueberry." I hear Tyler reply, his voice just outside the door. He opens the door and comes in. "Can I turn the light on?" He asks.

"Yeah." I reply, covering my eyes with the blanket.

"So, what do ya wanna do tonight?" He asks, sitting down on the bed next to me and kissing my forehead.

"You want the truth?" I ask, sitting up.

"Well yeah."

"Nothing," his eyes fall, "but, I do know I need to do something. The doctor did tell me that even when I get in these ruts I should get out of the house and do stuff."

"So you do want to go?" He asks, adjusting his beanie.

"Not exactly, but if it'll put you at ease and possibly could help, I'm not terribly opposed."

"Okay, well you may wanna put pants on." He tells me, looking at my bare legs. "I mean, don't get me wrong, I love those legs of yours, but mine."

"You're such a doofus." I tell him getting up and getting dressed.

Captain Neutrino calls Mark their "fish" because 1) they used to exclusively refer to him by "Fischbach" in their early work relationship and then 2) this fucking meme came up

and it became a stupid inside joke that he's a "fisch" that wants them djskssks

Mark caught wind of the captain's old nickname "trino-rino" and he has been abusing it ever since

Absolutely Mark. Man would triple backflip into a wormhole for the captain, there's no way he doesn't have their food preferences tattooed into his brain

You’d walk up to Ethan, looking really over tired. “Ethan?” He’d look up from whatever he was doing and immediately his face contorts into concern. “Babe, are you alright?” He’d walk up to you, grabbing your face in his hands and staring at the bags under your eyes. “Yeah, I’m just tired and I want cuddles,” you pouted, holding your arms out for a hug. He chuckled, wrapping his arms tightly around your shoulders. “Then, lets go.”

Tyler:

“Tyler! Cuddles!” You yelled, walking through the house trying to find him. As soon as you peeked your head into the living room, you ran over to him on the couch. “Tyler!” You crawled on the couch and leaned against the arm. “What?” He laughed, smiling widely towards you. “Cuddles.” He quickly gives in, laying on his side in between you and the back of the couch. You turned to hide in his chest and hopefully fall asleep.

Mark:

"Markimoo, can we cuddle?” You asked, walking into his recording studio. His head snapped over to you as he faked a scared look, flipping you off playfully. “No, stay over there, Demon!” He joked and you laughed loudly. You walked closer, holding your arms out for a hug. He stood off his chair, taking a step back. You continued this until his back was against the wall. You then walked up to him, grabbing his wrists and wrapping his arms around you. “Fine,” he groaned, wrapping his arms around your waist and throwing you over his shoulder. “To the couch!” He yelled and ran towards the living room.

amanda “ava” koci. 28 years of age, wisconsin born. dance instructor

amanda, preferred to be called ava, was born to parents that came to america from albania. as a child she never really had one place to call home, she was always moving around and thus she never had too many constant friends growing up. she was a rather lonely girl growing up. this caused her to grow up and want to stay put so she could build longer lasting connections. once once she was eighteen, she stayed between los angeles and new york, not moving much more than between the two.

while she was in new york she took classes for dance and she’d practice like no tomorrow. as she did this, she also dabbled in writing and recording her own music trying to get out there musically but this completely bombed, however it didn’t stop her from singing and writing music for her friends and family. she wouldn’t share with the world since she never managed to get signed or even really get a song out there.

she still started her signature ‘max cut’ trend and it actually played well into her career and she opened up ‘dance to the max’ dance studio in los angeles and later on also in new york. this caused her to moved between the two during different times for classes. los angeles during fall and winter, new york during spring and summer.

when she was on business she met a man named mark fischbach ( @bachiplier ) who after a year they started dating and even hold a secret engagement but nothing more as come of things with the two as they want to take things slow. ava is a very loving sweet and helpful girl, despite the career set back she stayed positive and focused on making something of herself. she loves meeting new people and sharing her dance skills with the help of friends at her studios.

    “Here,” you offered an out of breath man a bottle of water. “You look like you need it.”

    The man almost choked on the water as he drank it. That’s how out of breath he was. “Thanks,” he blurted.

    “Why did you push yourself so hard?” you wondered as politely as you could.

    He shrugged, bewildered at himself. “I don’t know...I haven’t run for a while, and I guess I thought I could run the same as I always have.”

    “That’s pretty stupid,” you bluntly remarked.

    The man smirked, “Thanks.”

    “Wait a minute,” you finally got a look at his face when he straightened up from being hunched over. “I know you. Your Markiplier. I watch your videos!”

    Mark got a clear view of you, too. “Holy shit. You’re Y/n L/n! Wow! It’s so nice to meet you!”

    “Likewise.” You shook his hand.

    He had the biggest grin on his face. “I love your videos. And you watch mine? That’s insane! I’m so sorry you’ve been subjected to the travesties that are my videos.”

    Mark was doing his normal job of making you laugh effortlessly.

    “So what are you doing out here?” he inquired.

    “I actually just moved. Yeah, so I’m here now. I decided not to tell my fans ‘cause a problem with unwanted visitors at my old place.”

    Mark nodded, “That’s completely understandable. I don’t know how people haven’t found me yet.”

    “You’re one of the lucky ones,” you joked.

    Mark smiled at you again. Wait, was he nervous? “Hey. So, um...if I didn’t get too starstruck upon meeting you...Would you like to go out with me sometime? For like coffee or something?”

    “Uh, wow. Yeah, sure! You want my number?” you were suddenly laughing out of surprise.

    He was laughing, too. “Sure!”

    The two of you put each other’s numbers into each other’s phones.

    When that was done, Mark was sort of awkward. He couldn’t wipe the smile off his face. “I-I guess I’ll see you around...”

    Biting your lip, you tried to minimize your grin as well. Was Markiplier always this adorable? “Yeah. See you around.”
