*Lyf is awoken by a knocking on their door. If they choose to open it, their greeted by the sight of Marius standing there, holding a picnic basket*

With slurred speech and slightly wobbly steps, Lyf opens the door. They look incredibly tired, along with the replacement of the usual neat and tidy twin braids, now messy and only one.

The inside of the ship looked like a bloody mess, if you could describe the what looked to be dry splattered rainbow on the wall. Knives stuck out of a certain wall, an inner one, and there were two violins in sight. One smashed and one only slightly stabbed.

At the sound, Marius jerked awake, the movement making him slip out of his chair, and he fully woke up lying sprawled on the ground. He groaned slightly, rubbing his head where it had hit the floor, and staggered to his feet, stumbling towards Nick.

"What’s going on, what’s wrong?" he asked blearily. His eyes widened slightly in understanding. "Oh, that’s an IV, to, uh…" he trailed off, his mind going blank. What was it for, again? "Fluids! To get your fluids back up. It’s not- it’s not like- it’s there to help you," he settled on, fiddling nervously with his hands.

Nick slept peacefully with absolutely no dreams for the first time since connection to The System. Finally, reality started to creep through his exhausted mind and ze woke up. He looked around, still a bit dizzy from a deep sleep but what caught his eye and awoken rapidly his conscience were some wire-looking tubes and the feeling of them around zir.

Was it all a dream? Did he simply pass out and was still connected? It surely was just some sick image that superiors made him see, of course none of The Mechanisms saved Nick.

And yet the hyperventilation and panic began to bubble up inside his chest. And then he saw a ship doctor nearby, sleeping.

So it wasn’t a dream? If so, then he is now trapped in another System of some sort? Or is ze tied to some bunk or medbay? Nick got as quiet as he can so Baron won’t wake up but his breath was deep and fast. Nick propped himself up for a bit but the pain shot through his body and he involuntarily screamed.

The terror made him freeze in place and hold his breath, to the opposite of his previous state. @doctorbaronmariusvonraum

Like... the religious complexities, the light/dark complimentary stuff, the pining and teasing, the goddamn glorious RP that was the porch scene (which for some reason I have a vivid memory of an animatic of that scene I stumbled across years ago before I was a fan, but I can't find it so I think I'm probably going bonkers or it just doesn't exist anymore), and now the entire Chatau Clair de Lune arc.

They have truly found a nice little apartment together in my brain, rent free baybee

I can't wait to hear how Lethica's moth costume and Marius' 'vampire' costume will be described so I can go absolutely feral over that too!

Many of you may know me as a guy who loves Marius and my whole thing being obsessed with drawing Marius and taking both of his tags. But I wasn’t always like this and all my fame and love for this character comes from another person, who introduced me to Marius’ personality and lore: @allthedoorsareopennow with his ao3 myhandisfatemywordislaw (@myhandisfatemywordislaw on tumblr as well!!)

If you are interested in rp side of the mechs fandom you might as well know the rp between my oc @researcher-4e69636b and @doctorbaronmariusvonraum (@von-raum-rp for when we do long rps) with other rp blogs from the same au occasionally showing up: @captainjonnydville and @engineer-nastya which are both from Doors as well!
