If they're going the "Ladybug is no longer a true hero but instead a zealot-level controlfreak" angle... I kind of hope that at least they're gonna use this thing they've now established about "powers working differently when used for evil" (and lets be clear, covering Gabe's ass lying to an entire planet, and controlling information on this level is evil). I want her to use her powers, and i want it to get easier. The same way that every Evil version of the ladybug powers always got what they wanted (wether its a sword, a gun or whatever). I want her power to give her the thing she wants instead of the thing she needs like they used to. I want her to slowly get used to her powers getting "easier" to use, simpler in their execution, less creative and less nuanced and pacifistic. Until she almost forgets she ever struggled with her Lucky Charms at all... Until one day she doesnt have all the knowledge to form a plan of her own again, and she realises too late that "what she wanted"wasnt what she needed, and someone gets hurt. I want her to ask Tiki why she got the wrong Lucky Charm. And i want Tiki to tell her. Cause if that doesnt happen, why establish the "powers work different when used for evil" rule at all.

i wanna see season 6 Nathalie project Gabriel onto Ladybug. i wanna see her fall in to old habits to both her and Marinette's detriment.

and i wanna see her recognize the worst aspects of Gabriel in Marinette and guide her away from them

the summer after finishing university in New York, Marinette gets invited to a camping trip with Alya and Nino and his best friend. which, honestly, is for the best. at least she has more time than the four years she's already had to figure out how to reach out to her one-time superhero partner, with whom she fell out of touch after the reveal.

only, it's Adrien Agreste waiting for them on the meeting point, beaming so hard at her that it's blatantly obvious they know each other well. in her panic, what is Marinette supposed to tell Alya and Nino to protect their identites, if not that they used to date?

Emotion (s5) doesn’t really make a lot of sense to me writing-wise. I think Felix’s plan and execution was weird, but… damn it was FUN. It makes so sense, but if I wasn’t vibing with it the whole episode.

Kagami accidentally insulting Lila (“you’re just a stone”)? Vibing.

A bizarre wealthy-person masquerade as a social commentary? Vibing.

Amelie yelling at Gabriel? Vibing.

“Adrien” and Kagami’s banter before their dance? Vibing.

Marinette dancing with “Adrien,” then immediately getting hostile when she learns he’s Felix? Vibing.

Felix having a Disney-villain style musical number in the streets as he Thanos-snaps everyone? Vibing.

Adrien blowing up at Felix? Vibing. (he’s earned that so bad)

Felix having a mental breakdown on a roof? Vibing.

Plot-wise, I have a few issues, but I can honestly say I am so happy to ignore them because I just had a BLAST watching it. Top-tier episode. 10/10. 5 stars.

I'm a 100% sure Chloe is the reason why Adrien was able to Enroll in public school without his father's authorization.

And I just wished Adrien and Chloe's friendship was more like, She abuses power for nothing and everything and He is embarrassed to use it, but casually starts using it. And they bond over how funny it is the influence they have on silly things.

Like, no, yeah. Let's organize a runway for one of the biggest fashion powerhouses and put Agreste junior's best friend to lead music.

Or he could push Bob Roth into giving Kitty Section a real, no enslaving, morally decent contract record.

Or giving Marinette the chance to associate with big names in the industry or showing her how it looks from the inside.

And because he's not sure how to pull it off Chloe shows him her evil ways, (for the better good of course, might get crooked a bit in the process tho).
