OC Post- Tharrius Dargoth

DISCLAIMER: All of my OCs are actually my friend's and I's DnD characters, used with permission. Typically, I modify backstories to fit a more modern setting, but for this one I frankly don't feel like it. I'll list the class for anyone curious, but it won't come into much use unless they're a spellcaster. CW: NSFT/NSFW themes

Name: Tharrius Dargoth

Race: Orc, (as a human, he would be Latino)

Age: 24

Sex: Male

Pronouns: He/Him/His

Sexuality: Bisexual (In denial, that's three points thusfar to vbrit for repressed bi twinks. this is consistent)

Class: Hexblade Warlock

Height: 5'8

Hair Color: Black

Eye Color: Yellow

Occupation (Modern Setting): Intern for an arcano-science research facility, otherwise he works as an electrician

Basic Description: Tharrius is often assumed to be a half-orc at first glance, because he stands much shorter and appears much thinner than the majority of orcs. He has very small tusks and overall lacks noticeable muscle mass. He wears common clothes and a torn cloak, but generally keeps himself clean. He has messy black hair, cut short at the sides with some height on top. He doesn't care to brush it often. He has slitted, yellow eyes and a thin, straight nose. It doesn't upturn at all, and is generally as unassuming as the rest of his face. While he may appear average or even attractive to a human, he is typically considered ugly by orc standards.

Background: Tharrius was born as the eldest son to the infamous Tharrstag the Thunderous, the legendary orc war chief imbued with the magic of the giants, as well as one of his four wives. Being the eldest of 11 siblings, Tharrius was expected to be towering and strong, much like his father. However this was far from the case. Whether it simply be bad luck or something sinister at play, Tharrius turned out to be a scrawny and sickly child, with small tusks, narrow features and a measly 5'8 height. This left Tharrius to be mostly brushed aside and forgotten, often an afterthought when compared to his younger, much more orcish siblings. He was mostly left to his own devices and never seemed to receive the same approval of his father that the rest of his siblings received. This left Tharrius a somewhat disillusioned and lonely boy, and something dark saw this and leapt at the opportunity. One day Tharrius began to hear whispers, calling him to the woods surrounding his town. Tharrius couldn't resist the call, one day heading into the woods and discovering what looked to be an old and battered greatsword buried under the snow. He fished the sword out and found that it seemed to be weightless, a weapon he could actually wield with his small build. As his hands traced over the blade, he heard the whispers again, louder and clearer than he had before. They told him he could impress his father, gain the respect of his clan. He would finally be recognized and not the overlooked black sheep of the family. Tharrius had no chance of refusing. That night, he took the sword and left, setting out to hunt the most dangerous monsters that he could find and prove to his father that he was worthy of being his son.

Personality: Tharrius appears quiet and unassuming at first glance, and doesn't go out of his way to make friends. However, he has a sharp tongue and a quick wit, and is great at getting himself out of bad situations or convincing people to do as he pleases. Alas, this charisma does not seem to carry over to his love life, where he lacks the charm and composure necessary to be good at flirting. Aside from that, he is selfless and kind, and endlessly loyal towards his friends. He tries to help people to compensate for the fact that he feels insufficient in many areas of his life. He believes that if he's not strong enough to gain his family's approval, he can at very least be strong enough to help people. He longs to accomplish something and be good enough for other people, since he often feels like he's not good enough for himself. He is severely insecure and has trouble accepting compliments. He also has a lot of internalized homophobia, and thus represses any feelings he has towards the same sex and any interests he has that aren't traditionally masculine enough.

Snz Info: He doesn't typically get sick too easily, at least by human standards. However he is much more vulnerable to colds than the average orc, especially considering he lives in a tundra. Since he didn't grow up around many plants at all, he has awful pollen allergies, and spring is hell for him. His sneezes are deep and forceful, and incredibly loud and vocal. He doesn't really stifle them, and covering a sneeze isn't seen as necessary in orcish culture, so he sneezes openly and unrestrained. His nose is also sensitive to physical touch, to an extent, and his sneezes are quite messy and snotty. Fun Facts:

Has the kink (this was my choice, not vbrits, he just said it was ok).

He changed warlock patrons eventually, to a fae woman who gave him another magic sword. He spends a few weeks every six months essentially being her bitch boy in exchange for magic

She definitely makes him wear a maid outfit

He has ten younger siblings and four mothers. Orc families are weird.

It is often said that all of his orc genes went between his legs (I will leave that to you all to imagine)

One of the few neurotypical characters I will post here.

Would pretend to love soccer but actually knows nothing about it.

Loves to fish, since its the only thing he was good at that he did with his dad.

My newest D&D character. Her name is Jasenka Taban Petrova, and her snake is Lapsha (means noodle in russian). Lapsha is an albino corn snake. Jasenka is an earth genasi rune knight fighter. Cant wait to play her. I made her design using a picrew. I really liked the art style and wanted her to look sharp like a shard of glass.

We've started collecting the data from the survey and organizing it. I can already say that there's not gonna be a consistent theme but a good mix of everything, just like the comic.
