*Yes I know that's nowhere near all of the fictional wolves or fictional werewolves but I'm tired.
**For obvious reasons, Dracula has not used Adolf or any of its diminutives/feminine versions since WWII.
***A lot of these names are just different spelling variations of the same name. He spaces out his use of these so the wolves don't get confused.
****His favorite wolf name is Jello.
The Scholomance Class Reunion
Carmilla: To begin, I'd like to thank the Count for offering to host us at his wolf sanctuary.
Dracula: I'm so glad to have you all here! I've prepared a slideshow to introduce each and every one of our wolves.
Ruthven: Oh, Count, you really don't have to--
Dracula: Here, we have Beowulf. He was our first rescue. Here's Wolfgang. And this beautiful creature is Adalwulfa.
Ruthven, muttered: For fuck's sake.
Dracula: This is Wulfric. Wolfheart, Cathwulf, Wolfy--
Carmilla: Do all of these creatures have "wolf" in their name?
Dracula: Of course not. Some of them coming up are named after mythological characters. And then, famous wolves of pop culture.
Ruthven, muttered: I went into the kitchens earlier to see if he had any blood stored. There's a velvet wolf painting in there. A velvet wolf painting.
Carmilla: Sir Francis, can we host the next reunion at Ratford Abbey?
Dracula: --Bisclavert, Lawrence, Ginger, Bertrand--
Varney: I, uh. I lost possession of the abbey.
Carmilla: What? How?
Varney: My fortune was waning, and I was assured that NFTs were a stable investment.
Carmilla: By whom? A teenager on Twitter?
Ruthven: I don't know why I bother to come to these. I can't even get drunk beforehand.

first line game
rules: list the first lines of your last 20 stories (if you have less than 20, just list them all!). see if there are any patterns, choose your favourite opening line, and then tag 10 of your favourite authors!
thank you @bunny-bopper for tagging me 🥺💕i’ve included some wips since i haven’t published a whole bunch since the last time i did this. alsoo they’re not all hp this time so 👀👀 i’m exposing my bad taste to this acc.
what a mess i leave (to follow) · wip · severus & eileen | hp · He’s born breech, feet kicking before the screams can start, like he’s already ready to leave her.
the world’s a beast of a burden · wip · boba fett/din djarin | the mandalorian · The sky is always clear here, beyond the Dune Sea.
untitled nd snape week fic · wip · gen · He keeps the vial in his palm, gently tracing the glass ridges with his fingertips.
a soft place to fall · fennec shand/din djarin(/boba fett) | the mandalorian · Din is hot beneath her, skin flushed and sweaty.
an invention of darkness · severus/lucius/narcissa | hp · You could say it starts like this: Cold, concrete halls, with little light and no portraits.
at the seams · din djarin/boba fett | the mandalorian · Boba smells it in the cockpit of Slave I, as the beroya stands behind the co-pilot’s seat, hands clasped around the headrest as he fights the urge to fidget.
blacker than blue · gen | hp · Hunting, Mulciber calls it.
a feeling so peculiar · gen | the mandalorian · When he finally turns away from the elevator, the others are waiting.
sweeter than heaven (hotter than hell) · elliot stabler/olivia benson | law & order: svu · Olivia’s apartment is quiet.
this feeling (i wish i could freeze and own it) · gen | hp · Take your pick, Lucius says, and be down by nine.
something wicked this way comes · severus & eileen | hp · The riverbed glistens in the night, his mother a silhouette against the moon’s reflection.
i live in you · lucius gen | hp · Lucius scours the Manor’s library seeking answers and finds them scrawled on the back of a stray photograph.
resist the temptation · lucius gen | hp · “What happened to the rest of them?”
no sacrifice without blood · lucius gen | hp · Lucius dies in daylight.
its own charms · lucius gen | hp · Malfoy Manor is void of portraits.
hungry for you · lucissa | hp · Lucius is already there when she slips inside, hip pressed to the vanity as he leans, waiting.
straight lines, he’s running out of time · lucissa | hp · Water runs over reddened flesh, Draco’s arm held in Narcissa’s hand.
follow you down · eve/carolyn/elena | killing eve · It’s Eve’s voice—a hitched breath, filled to the brim with pleasure—that Elena recognises.
don’t play with fire (unless you want to get burned) · snarcissa | hp · “He should be back already.”
a world alone · snucissa | hp · “Congratulations, Headmaster.”
woooo i definitely messed up the order of fics i think, but i’ve been in class all day so i’m running on half a brain cell and it’s fine. as for trends - i hate opening with dialogue and love not using names??? and as for my fave, i think probably the first one 👀
tagging @maria-de-salinas @sapphicathenas @marshmallowmcgonagall @solasnarealtai @deathdaydungeon @celta-diabolica @wisp-of-a-spook @sportivetricks (though idk if you follow this acc - it’s @humanveil 😚) aaaand anyone else who wants to do it, really. no pressure though 💕
#posting here instead of main bc it's where most of my fic mutuals follow meeeee hope no one minds#also wow i've barely written in like. 8 months#mine#tag games

BDRPWriMo Task #21 -- A list of 10+ characters you’d like to see in the RP
Any fc ideas I put are ofc hypothetical lmao
SO HEEERE is a list of 10+ characters I selfishly want to see here! Yes a ton of the open Elena of Avalor characters are on the list but! That’s not all!
1. Olivia da Silva (fc suggestions by McKala: Marina Nery, Bruna Tenorio, Barbie Ferreira, Cierra Ramirez)
I made this skeleton woowoo! Come play an Avaloran character! A young sorceress honing her craft! Worldbuild Avalor with me, yaaaay! I put Brazilian-preferred on the skeleton for fc suggestions because the Avalor we’ve crafted in game is a bilingual society in South America with Portuguese and Spanish influence about equally. It’s not requiiired, like you can change her last name to be Spanish and not Portuguese, but! I tracked down a ton of Brazilian fcs with resources so you don’t even have to hunt! Below the list of Brazilian fcs, I also have non-Brazilian fcs listed.
2. Professor Guadalupe “Lupe” Mendoza (fc suggestions by McKala: Gina Torres, Charo Bogarin, Jessica Alba, Velina Hsau Houston, Lana Parrilla)
COME PLAY A COOL AVALORAN WOOOO
Join me in Avalor world! Lupe Mendoza is so cooool, she’s a professor, a scholar, a genius, a really cool lady forced to flee Avalor because of the new dictatorship.
4. Jasmine (fc suggestions by McKala: SO MANY. including Claudia Doumit, Njoud Al Shammari, Dalal AlDoub, Adila Sedraïa, Sonita Alizadeh)
I’m honestly shook Jasmine’s not taken yet y’all! She’s a great character, you can go so many diff directions with her and HEL-LO worldbuilding!
5. Aladdin! (fc suggestions by McKala: Derrick Monasterio, Toni Mahfud)
Y’all again! Think of the worldbuilding you’d get to do with Agrabah!
6. Li Shang (fc suggestions by McKala: Shawn Dou, Lewis Tan, Osric Chau)
Y’all how do we not have all the Mulan characters yet??? But I would pay someone physical money for a Li Shang ahhhhh
Free URL for you - thetimes-theyare-ashangin
7. Jafar (fc suggestions by McKala: JOHN ABRAHAM omfg, Omar Lofti, Adrian Pasdar)
Swynlake needs a new evil sorcerer! And it’s a chance to do some cool worlbuilding for Agrabah, like Team Avalor’s done with Avalor!
8. Star Butterfly (fc suggestions by McKala: Prilly Latuconsina, Kiana Lede, Rola, Liza Koshy, Normani Kordei, Anastasia Tsilimpiou, Zara Larsson)
Y’all, again. The worldbuilding! Potential! Here! you can make her a magical princess from a another dimension how DOPE
9. Alonso Cordoba (fc suggestions by McKala: Taylor Zakhar, Diego Tinoco, Maluma, Rafael De La Fuente)
Come play the snobby Avaloran noble turned refugee, childhood frenemy/pain in the ass of Princess Elena! Join Avalor Squad and get a piece of Avalor worldbuilding. Help me develop the Avaloran nobility, the pop culture, the youth culture. Being from Avalor is a cool enough plot, with the coup and civil conflict now, but being nobility? With a potential connection to the princesses? Woooo!
10. Armando Salinas (fc suggestions by McKala: tricky, bc he has to be Latinx and body diverse, but I have three possible ideas in mind and I can make gifs for them! They’re Harvey Guillen and Erik Griffin.
Wow there HAS to be more body diverse Latinx men out there. But!!! Join the Avalor party y’all!
11. Cristina Elizaga - FCs by McKala: Tamara Mena, Annie Elainey (non-binary, so must be non-binary), Kallyna Sampaio
I actually made the gif packs for 2 of 3 of these suggestions! Since Latinx fcs who use wheelchairs are very sparse, I went ahead and made gifs for two potential fcs. Join team Avalooooor!
12. QUEEN CLARION, Y’ALL. FC ideas by McKala: Deborah Mailman, Otsuka Nene, Gabrielle Union, Kulap Vilaysack
I canNOT believe Queen Clarion is still open y’all
who doesn’t wanna be a nearly immortal fairy queen!
13. Hay Lin!!!! (fc suggestions by McKala: Janice Wu, Lauren Tsai, Jelly Lin, Lai Meiyun)
Play a Guardian! Travel across diff dimensions, weeeeee! Have the power of WIND, WOW
14. Taranee Cook!!!! (fc suggestions by McKala: Karidja Touré, China Anne McClain, Sammi Maria)
H O W are the guardians still open omg.
15. WILBUR ROBINSON !! (fc suggestions by McKala: Aedy Ashraf, Yoon Sanha, Laïs Salameh, Boo Seungkwan, Odiseas Georgiadis, Anuarbekov Nurgisa, August Vachiravit, Đoàn Thế Lân, and more)
someone bring me and Mary our SON omg! Wilbur’s adopted so literally any ethnicity works - I think his skeleton says he has to be POC so as long as he’s POC!

Alma Lopez, Heaven mural, 2000
ARTIST STATEMENT IN HEAVEN… Love is heaven. Yet, growing up, we are told that when we participate in acts which have been labeled perverted, deviant, or sinful, we are going to hell. In Heaven a young woman rejects the institutionalized religious patriarchal system and gazes at her lover’s image in the golden heart brought to her by an angel. This image was created in the tradition of a retablo or ex-voto, which is a Mexican prayer painting typically done on tin. The retablo lends itself to an intimacy portraying personal themes that are important and sacred. THERE WAS A PRINCESS AND A PRINCESA... According to the Aztec legend, Popocapetl wanted to marry the Princess Ixtaccihuatl but to do so he had to earn his warrior feathers in battle. Upon his triumphant return, he finds that Ixta, believing he had died in battle, killed herself. Grieving, he takes her lifeless body in his arms to the highest mountains in Mexico so that the snowflakes would wake her. But she never wakes up and they both remained frozen, forming the now two famous snow-covered volcanoes in Mexico. Growing up in El Sereno, a neighborhood in northeast Los Angeles, I would see this image of Popo & Ixta on murals, lowrider cars, and Low Rider magazine. Every December, the local bakery or restaurant would give our family at least one calendar with the image of this Mexican Romeo & Juliet myth. As an artist, I asked my two friends Cristina Serna and Mirna Tapia to help me recreate this familiar myth however, the two princesas are on the US / Mexico border. AND THE STORY CONTINUES… Even as I attempted to return to previous work such as my original project of 1848, images such as Lupe & Sirena in Love persisted. After some thought, I realized that these images were important to me in that they address and challenge images that I grew up with in my neighborhood. I am "re-imagining" these cultural icons from my own worldview as a Chicana Lesbian. For example, Ixta is a re-interpretation of the sexy Ixta draped over strong Popo’s arms as seen in murals or calendars. Tattoo refers to the tattooed men that have the image of the Virgin on their bodies. Mexican votive paintings inspired Retablo and Heaven. Old photographs of married couples are included in Pix. Diego, December 12, and Our Lady touch upon the myth of the apparition of the Virgin of Guadalupe to Juan Diego. My life is special because it is shared with beautiful family and friends. This work was possible with the love and encouragement of so many friends, especially those beautiful beings who shared their body-image and a little soul-spirit: Jill A. Aguilar (Tattoo); Raquel Gutierrez & Raquel Salinas (Our Lady); Cristina Serna & Mirna Tapia (Ixta); Claudia Rodriguez & Stacy Macias (Heaven); Rigo Maldonado (Diego); and Noni Olabisi (Pix). Super special thanks to Raquel Gutierrez who posed for me for hours in the beginning when I was figuring things out. Special thanks to my dear friends and editors, Maria Elena Fernandez and Reina A. Prado, and my printer Pedro Rios Martinez. The Lupe & Sirena series was funded by a C.O.L.A. (City of Los Angeles) Individual Artist grant from the City of Los Angeles Cultural Affairs Department, the California Community Foundation’s Brody Visual Artist Fellowship, and a California Arts Council Artist in Residency.

VISITING SICILY - THE SUN TASTE - Do not visit Sicily if you do not eat the sicilian desserts. You have to take this seriously because food in Sicily is very important and desserts are the most important part of every lunch and dinner. Eating in Sicily is not just eating, but a real social activity. There is no important event in a Sicilian family that should not be celebrated or remembered by a lunch or dinner. Those who are invited to lunch must not only avoid to eat three days in advance to make room for all that they will have to eat, but have a duty to bring sweets and if these sweets, for unfortunate event they will not be good, for the rest of your life it will always be remembered as your mortal sin. Every religious Party has its own special sweets: St. Joseph, St. Martin, St. Agatha, Easter, Christmas, Carnival, the day dedicated to the dead people, every little party has a sweet that is only done on that occasion because it is not a party if there isn’t that specific sweet. So you have to sacrifice yourself and visiting Sicily you have to eat all the desserts you can, those on the street or homemade (granita, ice cream, ice cream with croissants, giuggiulena, nougat, honey biscuits, rewards, sfinci, fravioli, u pupu cull 'ovu) and those of the pastry (cassata, cassatine, minne di Sant'Agata, olivelle, soft nougats, nougat of pistachios, cakes seven veils, babbà, sweets of the dead, pignolata, martorana fruit, lemon trunk, zuddi, parfait of almonds, biancomangiare, bucellato, African, savoia cake, San Martino biscuits, sweet peaches, queen biscuits, Elena pastas, minni di virgini, pigtails, gelo of orange or mandarin orange, cinnamon, watermelon, Tetù and Tetò, mpanadigghi, cuddureddi, Petralla's pegs, Bersaglieri, Cassatelle di Agira, Santa Lucia's bed, Aniseed biscuits, sighs of a nun, Marsala's Spagnolette, almond cakes, curly biscuits, piparelli and all the others and all the other hundreds of sweets that I am not able to write here but that you can find on this site https://www.dolcisiciliani.net/)
