A BSM & MBF COLLAB? We are so back.

Hi gays! Me and the incomparable @mybonafidefeelings felt like having a little fun and challenging ourselves to write more. So welcome to Black Sapphic Summer, where we'll be doing multiple writing challenges! (Or is this a soft launch of something else? Maybe.)

Here's how this works!

One of us writes the first 1000-3000 words of a story featuring at least ONE character played by Lashana Lynch from our repertoires/previous works (BSM / MBF) - chosen by one of us as a random number from a list of characters. Then the ship is chosen from a similar list. There are currently no constraints on what themes (angst, fluff etc.) can be used. Neither of us see the lists the other person has or the writing until it's posted, to ensure that it's random each time. Simply put: we write it, post it, and the other reblogs it with the next 1000-3000 words and so on until we see fit. It's going to be a great, gay time!

Alexandrine:...yeah so that was my holiday. I dunno what's gonna happen with Jack...but other than that it was great. Spent Christmas with Grandpa and Grandma. How was Scotland? Maria Aisha: Oh it was nice, Aunt MC was great. Hortense really outdid herself with the decorating. Which led to some mistletoe shenanigans which was fascinating. Alexandrine: Maria Aisha, what did you do? Maggie mentioned-

Maria Aisha: I didn't do anything! She walked right into that all on her own. Alexandrine: You. Are. Ridiculous. Maria Aisha: Look. All I know, is that Maggie and Louis were fine that night. Next morning, Maggie couldn't even look at Lou.

Alexandrine: You think something happened? Maria Aisha: I mean...it looks like it but I can't be for sure...she looks happy with Magnus so Louis either needs to get his act together or step his game up.

Alexandrine: Well I'm surprised that Magnus didn't pop the question over the holidays. Maria Aisha: Wait what? Alexandrine: Yeah...he asked Mum and Dad about 2 months ago! Maria Aisha: oh my Watcher.

Alexandrine: And thing is, I know Maggie would say yes if he asked... Maria Aisha: So what's up with him I wonder?

Hello, people of Tumblr! How have they been doing all this time? As always, your friend Rankakiu hopes you are doing well. On this occasion I bring you my contribution for the school photo collab, organized by the group Rushing Rattah on Facebook. For the collab, I chose to draw María Robotnik, along with Princess Elise of Soleanna.

For this collab, it occurs to me that Elise would be a somewhat reserved and shy student, whose strength would be history; while María would be a more cheerful and active student, whose strength would be mathematics, physics and biology. Hope you like it!

The year is 1969, and between the growing tension in the streets of New York, there's... something, certainly, blossoming between two young women in a small café.Will the two of them weather the coming storm, or will the events of the summer keep them forever apart?

I was lucky enough to be paired with @7thedisasterdyke for the collab and our alt ship pairing was spumoni! (Emerald and Neo). Because I whine without ceasing she allowed me to write a tiny bit of DWR.

Isabella: Are you alright?

Queen Francesca: It’s just a slight headache. I’ll be alright in the morning

Isabella: Have you-

Queen Francesca: Yes, I have taken my medication. I’ll be fine Isabella

Anita: Your Majesty, Your royal highness

Queen Francesca: Hello Anita, give me just a moment will you?

Anita: Yes ma’am

Queen Francesca: Maria Aisha, come here please

Maria Aisha: Yes ma’am?

Anita: Your royal highness

Isabella: What is it Anita?

Anita: I’m afraid her majesty has been suffering more than just headaches

Isabella: What do you mean?

Anita: I spoke with Ines, who wakes Her Majesty every morning. She informed me that Her Majesty has been suffering from nausea, vomiting, severe headaches, diziness, amongs other symptoms like... forgetfulness

Isabella: It’s clear that she’s unwell. And even the public is beginning to notice

Anita: Yes, but Her Majesty still insists on not seeing a doctor about this

Isabella: Well then... have the doctor contact her. Inform him of her symptoms and instruct him to tell her that it’s simply a routine check-up. He’ll have to find a way to diagnose her without any scans or bloodwork but I’m sure he can do it

Anita: Yes ma’am

Liliana: Hello your highness

Maria Aisha: (to herself) Ignore her, just ignore her

Liliana: I hear your brother came to visit

Maria Aisha: (to herself) Just let it go so you don’t become like her

Liliana: It’s unfortunate that I wasn’t able to see him. I hope he’s doing alright given the horrible scandal that hit the papers recently about your family

Maria Aisha: Oh you’re still here? I didn’t know you hand’t been fired yet

Liliana: I think you misunderstand, your highness, that I have a higher social standing in this family and in this country than you do

Maria Aisha: And I think you misudnerstand how much longer that is going to remain

Maria Aisha: Why are you even here? What are you trying to prove? Are you following me now, is that it?

Liliana: As if I don’t have more important things to do. I’m simply fulfilling my duty by assisting Her Majesty

Maria Aisha: So you work for the Queen now?

Liliana: Occasionally. So I suppose we’ll be seeing a lot more of each other from now on 

Maria Aisha: Haven’t you ruined enough lives? 

Liliana: ... You have a good day your highness

Aza seems to be getting more active in yt now. I wonder if bilibili became lax with their rules, but then again I don't really know how they work since they are a separate entity from enkr even though vtr is affiliated with them both.

I do hope this change is a sign that other vtr livers might stream on yt from time to time because it is an easier platform to navigate for non-cn speakers. But also, I can't help being worried about them attracting the ugly side of the fandom since they will be more accessible to en speakers.
