-Judith Leyster (Dutch, 1609-1660)

During her life her works were highly recognized, but she got forgotten after her death and rediscovered in the 19th century. In her paintings could be identified the acronym "JL", asually followed by a star, she was the first woman to be inserted in the Guild of St. Luke, the guild Haarlem's artists.

-Artemisia Gentileschi (Italian, 1593-1656)

In 1611, Artemisia got raped, and she had to Undergo a humiliating trial, just to marry so that she could "Restore one's reputation" , according to the morality of the time. Only after a few years Artemisia managed to regain her value, in Florence, in Rome, in Naples and even in England, her oldest surviving work is "Susanna and the elders".

-Elisabeth Louise Vigèe Le Brun (French, 1755-1842)

She was a potrait artists who created herself a name during the Ancien Règime, serving as the potrait painting of the Queen of France Marie Antoinette, she painted 600 portraits and 200 landscapes in the course of her life.

-Augusta Savage (Afro-American, 1892-1962)

Augusta started making figures when she was a child, which most of them were small animals made out of red clay of her hometown, she kept model claying, and during 1919, at the Palm Beach County Fair, she won $25 prize and ribbon for most original exhibit. After completing her studies, Savage worked in Manhattan steam laundries to support her family along with herself. After a violent stalking made by Joe Gould that lasted for two decades, the stalker died in 1957 after getting lobotomized. In 2004, a public high school, Augusta Fells Savage Institute of Visual Arts, in Baltimore, opened.

-Marie Ellenrieder (German,1791-1863)

She was known for her portraits and religious paintings. During a two years long stay in Rome, she met some Nazarenes (group of early 19th century German romantic painters who wanted to revive spirituality in art),after becoming a student of Friedrich Overbeck and after being heavily influenced by a friend, she began painting religious image, getting heavily inspired by the Italian renaissance, more specifically by the artist Raphael. In 1829, she became a court painter to Grand Duchess Sophie of Baden.

-Berthe Marie Pauline Morisot (French,1841-1893)

Morisot studied at the Louvre, where she met Edouard Manet, which became her friend and professor. During 1874 she participated at her first Impressionist exhibition, and in 1892 sets up her own solo exhibition.

-Edmonia Lewis or also called "wildfire" (mixed African-American and Native American 1844-1907)

Edmonia was born in Upstate New York but she worked for most of her career in Rome, Italy. She was the first ever African American and Native American sculptor to achieve national and international fame, she began to gain prominence in the USA during the Civil Ware. She was the first black woman artist who has participated and has been recognized to any extent by the American artistic mainstream. She Also in on Molefi Kete Asante's list of 100 Greatest African Americans.

-Marie Gulliemine Benoist (French, 1768-1826)

Daughter of a civil servant, Marie was A pupil of Jaques-Louis David, whose she shared the revolutionary ideas with, painting innovative works that have caused whose revolutionary ideals he shared, painting innovative works that caused discussion. She opened a school for young girl artists, but the marriage with the banker Benoist and the political career Of the husband had slowly had effect on her artistic career, forcing her to stop painting. Her most famous work is Potrait of Madeline, which six years before slavery was abolished, so that painting became a simbol for women's emancipation and black people's rights.

-Lavinia Fontana (Italian, 1552-1614)

She is remembered for being the first woman artist to paint an altarpiece and for painting the first female nude by a woman (Minerva in the act of dressing), commissioned by Scipione Borghese.

-Elisabetta Sirani. (Italian, 1698-1665)

Her admirable artistic skills, that would vary from painting, drawing and engraving, permitted her, in 1660, to enter in the National Academy of S. Luca, making her work as s professor. After two years she replaced her father in his work of his Artistic workshop, turning it into an art schools for girls, becoming the first woman in Europe to have a girls' school of painting, like Artemisia Gentileschi, she represent female characters as strong and proud, mainly drawn from Greek and Roman stories. (ex. Timoclea Kills The Captain of Alexander the Great, 1659).

mari began consciously regressing after her cousin's death 𓈒 despite only being 12 , mari found herself beginning to feel smaller again 𓈒 it was the only time she could escape the putrid , near crippling feeling of guilt , of responsibility , of overwhelming sorrow 𓈒

mari tends to regress between the ages of 6 and 10 𓈒 she tends to regress on the older end of the range , to around 9 or 10 , an age at which she has many fond memories of her cousin , her family 𓈒 however her mental state has a large impact on how small she'll be 𓈒 if she's having particularly strong memories they may lead to her slipping further 𓈒 although pleasant for awhile when left alone with her thoughts the guilt may come seeping back in 𓈒

if mari's having a hard time she'll go younger to a time before everything 𓈒 she'll be 6 or 7 , a little guy with lots of feelings 𓈒 she tends to be a very emotional regressor , going from giggly to weepy in a flash 𓈒 her regression is at the end of the day a coping mechanism after all 𓈒

being a part of a big family and one of the only girls , mari is used to pushing the envelope to get attention 𓈒 she's a cheeky little thing , unafraid to stomp her foot , or throw a tantrum 𓈒 she's quite testy , always pushing the buttons of her cousins and friends 𓈒 she's the type to play up injuries when playfighting or joking around 𓈒 if she wants attention or is feeling mischievous she'll burst into tears seemingly out of nowhere while roughhousing with an older cousin 𓈒 she'll blubber until she's satisfied with all eyes being on her then jump right back up , giggling and shoving right back 𓈒

a caregiver for mari would have to be patient 𓈒 mari is quite emotional , fussing whenever scolded , kicking and screaming when an attempt to stop playtime is made 𓈒 "c'mon munchkin , time for a bath 𓈒" akilah will say gently 𓈒 mari will scrunch up her face in frustration , refusing to let go of her toys or stop her game 𓈒 she'll pretend not to hear her caregiver , loudly "la la la" - ing while she continues to play and will lash out by biting or hitting when given a gentle tap 𓈒

mari is a messy little one 𓈒 she refuses to clean up her toys , dropping them where she stands when it's time for lunch or a potty break , picking them right back up when she's finished 𓈒 she'll leave her toys strewn about the floor where they'll often be stepped on & a few times broken 𓈒 mari will scream and fuss if she comes back to her action figure missing a limb or if her legos are swept into a neat pile 𓈒 she'll refuse to use sippy cups or bottles , insisting that they're for babies and she's NOT a baby then like clockwork end up spilling her brightly covered juice all over her rug or a friend's tablecloth 𓈒

despite mari’s insistence that she’s big and her tendency to poke fun at the younger regressors on the team she's not immune to more "babyish" comforts herself 𓈒 mari is a big thumb sucker as much as she tries to protest this fact 𓈒 she'll poke fun at misty when she sucks her thumb yet the minute mari begins to drop her thumb is inching toward her mouth 𓈒 whenever the poor girl is upset she'll begin nibbling at her thumbnail , a tell tale sign she's slipping 𓈒 if nat or shauna pokes fun at her she'll immediately glower at them , snapping about how she's not a baby 𓈒 she's insistent that only babies suck their thumbs 𓈒

much to her embarrassment mari is prone to accidents while regressed 𓈒 she is a kiddo with a short attention span , always thrusting herself into new activities and tending to ignore or even be unaware of her bodily needs to fully immerse herself in her play 𓈒 she's prone to meltdowns , both embarrassed and angry at herself and worrying akilah will think she's a baby 𓈒 mari needs a lot of reassurance and help calming down after an accident 𓈒 she'll be quite scowly and tearful for awhile after , avoiding her playmates and caregiver but with enough reassurance she'll bounce back to her usual bubbly self 𓈒

mari is tough to please 𓈒 with her generally short attention span combined with adhd she gets bored of activities very quickly 𓈒 babysitting mari is a tough job 𓈒 you might think you've brought enough activities for the whole afternoon but mari on the other hand is through with them all in 30 minutes , prodding and poking you asking for something new 𓈒 she's a whiner , making it everybody's problem when she's bored 𓈒

mari is quite fidgety as well 𓈒 she needs reminders to play nice with her toys often bending them too hard or playing too roughly with them 𓈒 she's oftentimes understimulated , taking out her frustrations on her toys 𓈒

although she's definitely proud of her status as a brat mari is such a sweetheart when it comes to her caregiver akilah 𓈒 she's quite loving always drawing her pictures and holding her hand , making up little songs to sing to her 𓈒 she can be quite clingy with her but akilah doesn't mind a bit ! although she's a notorious rule breaker normally , she does her best to be a good girl for akilah and akilah only 𓈒 mari will fuss and throw fits if she gives too much attention to someone else though 𓈒

mari is tough to be friends with 𓈒 she's bossy and teases just a little too hard often leading to tears which only frustrates the girl 𓈒 "you're fine , don't be a baby ," she'll say with a pout 𓈒 she's stubborn oftentimes refusing to apologize or acknowlege when she makes a mistake 𓈒 all of these factors tend to leave the other regressors on the team wary of mari 𓈒 mari however , is blissfully unaware of this fact 𓈒 one thing a little ! mari loves is making friendship bracelets , matching ones for her and her friends 𓈒 mari will slip you a bracelet with a shy smile on her face , a peace offering after she's made you cry or thrown an extra big tantrum 𓈒

little ! mari is infatuated with none other than lottie matthews 𓈒 though she refuses to admit it she looks up to lottie as a cool older sister figure , copying her every move 𓈒 she's always ranting to akilah about how "lottie said this" and "lottie did that" , begging her caregiver to let her "pretty please with sugar on top" see lottie again 𓈒 lottie doesn't quite know what to make of this but she's flattered nonetheless 𓈒 despite mari's typical brashness and her poorly hidden obsession with the older girl she tends to get shy around her , suddenly out of quips and sassy remarks 𓈒

mari loves going to the park ! she's quite fond of outings of any kind but her most favorite tends to be the playground 𓈒 she's not afraid to side eye a littler kid than her whose using the swing she wants though this earns her a scolding from akilah 𓈒 she's always challenging her caregiver to swinging competitions , seeing who can swing higher or jump further 𓈒 she's a very playful little monkey , quick to challenge her playmates to little competitions 𓈒 she's definitely a sore loser though , making up excuses and hurling insults when she loses 𓈒
