the last thing marcus remembered was being in the body of someone else. then the sensation of being sucked into space. floated, the same as he had done to so many others on the ark. a fitting way to go. he could not live on in that body. a trespasser in someone else's skin. for that man's mind to be wiped for his own to be placed in. no, he could never do it. marcus would have wished abby would understand that. but he couldn't blame her for trying to save him in any way possible. that's just who she was. but not only that, putting him into that body was the same as him refusing to let her be on the other side of the bunker door. even after she had asked. marcus was mostly a selfless person, but not when it came to abby. they had both been selfish when it came to each other, despite the other's wishes. being unable to be apart. the thought of that had haunted marcus ever since they landed on earth. but now it was a reality. he was here and she was not. was this an after life? similar to the city of light? he didn't know. all he knew, is that he wished to be reunited with her once more. so after making enquiries, he had finally found that she worked at the hospital. of course she did. marcus had lost track of how long he had been waiting outside the entrance. a few hours maybe. but then she finally appeared. his heart stopped for a moment at the sight of her again. "abby..." marcus called, standing up and taking a few steps closer to her.

⭐ ───── he reached for her hand with ease before she practically collided into him. it took a minute but his head began to nod in assurance to her question. he hadn't, not in any manner worth worrying about. they'd certainly been through worse. "i'm good." he promised her quickly as he shifted and then stepped back purely out of instinct, "are you? alright?" he added to the question to ensure context layered his words. she was a higher priority than himself always.

marcus honestly found it a little cruel to be ripped apart from abby again after reuniting so soon. but he had been doing his best to make a new life in this new place, considering he didn't know when, or if at all he would return to ivy cove. "hmm?" he let out at the other's warning. "someone should clean it then, else they get hurt." marcus didn't know if it was the other who caused the mess or not, so didn't want to accuse at all.

TIM  GLARES  AT  the  abandoned  bottle  he  is  moving.  he  isn't  waving  it  around,  not  even  touching  it  all,  simply  testing  out  this  new  ability  that  he  has  never  been  able  to  do  before.  something  he  isn't  supposed  to  do.  he  isn't  a  meta,�� after  all,  or  an  alien,  or  even  a  witch.  yet  here  he  is.

Starting watching* The 100 with 4×10 sure is interesting. I have no clue who half these people are or what are the relationships between them. But anyway, here are some hightlights:

-I literally only tried this show for Octavia and God, I love her! She has all the makings of a blorbo. Every single moment she was onscreen I was fascinated. Unsurprisingly, the dynamics that most interest me all are centered around her.

-Octavia-Bellamy thugs at my heartstrings. And yet I still can't help but feel they could have been more. In an alternate universe where the show started with O as the protagonist, Bellamy would be a whole other character. I have a feeling he would be more like comics!Batman, a controlling asshole whose entire world centered around his sister and his ~presence would feel smothering everytime he was onscreen.

-No clue who Ilian was and what was his deal, but I was getting Peeta vibes from him LOL

-Octavia-Indra-Gaia! I hope this is a dynamic that is/has been brought up and delved into in other episode cause the potential is there. (When Gaia realizes their clan is doomed and goes to cry on her mom's shoulder, only for Indra to later be like 'Octavia is doing well.' Oh she knew very well what she was doing. I'm convinced Indra had zero faith in her clan's champion so she took advantage of Octavia's already shaky loyalty to make sure they'll survive.)

-How could Luna have THAT backstory and yet she has no interaction with Bellamy nor is Bellamy-Octavia brought up vis a vis her? Wasted potential smh. In another world, she would be O's dark mirror who'll probably haunt her past her death.

-I'm shipping Linctavia and 1. K know they have already been doomed by the narrative and 2. I haven't even properly seen them interact.

-Is...is Kane Octavia's father? (It would make so much sense since they named him Marcus: a Roman name to fit right in with Octavia and Aurora) Or father figure or something? I'm so confused by their interactions.

-Everyone else: if you didn't interact with Octavia, you don't exist for me.

*I'll finish s4 but I don't know if I'll properly watch the show afterwards. I'm here for Octavia and Octavia only and idk if it's worth it.

Humming softly to herself, Niamh leaned against the front desk's counter and wondered if she could manage to start another project of hers before she got any new clients, but that thought process disappeared the minute she heard the bell above over the door, ring. Lately I've been writing 1-2k in response to ideas usually. I'm trying to get myself to write drabbles and flashes but it's not working so likely if you ask you'll get something fairly long.

the 100 wishlist:

-Marcus Kane: she thought the council rediscussed her pregnancy and still kept her in her cell even if it sorta proved her self-defense claim (you can't kill anyway but I assume there is a bit more leniency if you weren't trying to, you were protecting yourself, and you are pregnancy. At least enough not to be in solitary anymore, but as far as Emma is concerned she should have been freed) but he actually knew nothing of this because they were too busy with the Ark dying so there is a weird relationship right there, between the angry pregnant girl who is kinda giving him a pass while hating on all other people with power, and the guy who is trying to do better now on the ground and who later on is visibly !!! about Diyoza being pregnant ??

-a Bellamy to freak out with questions about his mom and then to freak out even more when he realizes why he's being asked these questions, he was working so hard to 'be better' and protect people and lead, what is he supposed to do with this time-ticking bomb

-all the interactions with Murphy to see what happens in an universe where someone is weirdly caring from beginning to end ?? John Murphy having a tiny blonde girl who finds a little too easy to kill who has his back (possible 'trapped in the bunker together' situation there with the added terror of her pregnancy advancing though) (also he can cook, it's canon, which means he'll have Emma's undying love for that alone)

-interactions with Emori who is now around a girl who would never shun her son even if he was born a mutant and does everything for his sake but doesn't judge Emori herself for her crime-lifestyle, and later on Emma actually tries to volunteer to save her from being experimented on, because she's sure she'll be left to die in Praimfaya anyway and is giving her son one more chance it if the nightblood experiment works and saving someone in the process

-Raven having someone who picks her first even if it's platonically ?? Raven getting this big sister bond and helping Emma out too, she hates asking for help but it's a bit different when it's very mutual

-if it's possible for a Jasper not to completely fall apart after Mount Weather because Emma is not staying too close to a constantly drunk depressed guy while 8-9 months pregnant, maybe not losing it completely because he gets to protect/help someone else (Emma), that same Jasper who started to feel a bit of a spark of life again when he bonded for five minutes with a girl in Luna's place, maybe gets to feel better when helping Emma with baby Henry and going with them all to space later on ?

-Spacekru being a weird family unit to baby Henry though, all the aunts and uncles he needs // if Henry is the bunker and Emma is in space they'd have to keep Emma from dying of heartbreak though

-Clarke finding someone who agrees with literally all of her choices except for the one of forgiving and sorta dating Lexa (never forgive! Never forget!) and regardless of which faction Emma belongs to Emma actually agreeing that Madi should have been left flameless, are you kidding.

-I actually want to write with an Abby and fix the relationship because I like Abby, but I think it would be terrible for the other rper if we don't know each other well because Emma would be an ass.hole for a while and refuse to be reasonable about not hating the adults

-the weirdness of 'oh no, it's not that I don't trust Lincoln because he's a grounder, I don't trust him because he's a man' and 'I can understand how a traumatized kid started shooting up a village of Grounders after being terrorized by Grounders all along, I will not excuse cheating' 'I may follow Jaha because Pike is going to kill us all but my god will I feed him to the water monsters if I get the chance'

More random in defense of s3 Bellamy thoughts...but under the cut because I get so heated by the end lmao.

Something else that really bothers me is how K*ne just assumes Bellamy turned on Pike not because it was the right thing to do but because it would save his sister. Yeah, that’s why he handed Pike over to the grounders, but he was willing to betray Pike before that. The very second K*ne was sentenced to die, Bellamy switched sides. When Hannah asks him, “It’s not really that hard doing what’s best for your people, is it?”, his response is, “No. I do it every day” and that’s why he turns on Pike. Not just for his sister. For every single person that he loves. Because that has always been his motivation. 

K*ne just refused to understand and acted like Bellamy was the fucking enemy the entire time and only ever wanted to save Octagon and no, you fucking idiot. Bellamy was that upset over your potential death which is far more than you deserve that he wanted to betray Pike and he had a fucking plan to save you and the others, but Octagon didn’t let him. 

Obviously K*ne doesn’t know this, but he never thought to ask. He just decided Bellamy was the villain, and I can’t fucking stand it, especially since Bellamy was fucking terrified when he asked Octagon where Lincoln was???? And he sounded absolutely wrecked when he told Octagon he was sorry???? Meaning he had not wanted Lincoln to die???? And therefore would have helped save him had he not been chained up???? So, for Kane to not put two and two together and just let Octagon beat him because Bellamy said it was okay--it’s inexcusable. He’s a fucking enabler of abuse. He knew this wasn’t Bellamy’s fault and yet he let him get beat bloody for it anyway.

And then he had the audacity to lecture Bellamy, while his face was still bloody with the abuse K*ne enabled, about how he had only ever betrayed Pike to save Octagon???? Newsflash you fucking dumbass, Bellamy has cared about all of you the entire fucking time. You’re the one that never gave one (1) fuck about him, so maybe sit down and shut the fuck up and let Bell breathe for once???? Was enabling his sister’s abuse of him and then calling him the enemy and using him as a bargaining chip for Monty as Octagon held a sword to his throat not enough bullshit to put him through??? 

He just outsmarted all of you, Pike included, and handed him over to the grounders, proving that he would have saved the fucking day earlier had he been given the chance to. In other words, if Bellamy hadn’t been drugged and chained up, Lincoln would still be alive today. A moment of silence please for the man who had to die so that Octagon could prove she “didn’t need Bellamy.”
