new music! with video!

Produced over this last week, while Ive been seriously sick, the video features some of my oldest 3d models, produced while I was still working in auto-cad.

the retro-spaceship that stars in the video was originally intended to be built as a model for tabletop gaming. I designed it to be made from a mix of 3d printed parts and pvc pipe, but the games never happened, so it was never finished.

the music featues me on bass guitar, a digital marching band, and for synths, the behringer k2, and 2600. A significant portion of the flavor of this production comes from my diy spring reverb, which is all over the percussion.

Die Hard being considered part of the canon of "Christmas movies" simply because the events of the film take place near Christmas is a classic, but for my money the funniest example of this particular phenomenon is Beethoven's Last Night, a rock opera concept album about a conversation between Ludwig van Beethoven and the Devil, consistently being filed under Christmas music purely on the strength that the artists who made it also did that one heavy metal arrangement of "Carol of the Bells" you keep hearing everywhere.

I went to band camp for marching band for the first time, and I found out that the marching band staff was trying to get us involved in a ‘pyramid scheme’ and they were trying to kill us. Later I pulled out my trombone and started sniping the staff with it from a hotel window. I shot a couple before I tried to shoot one of the band directors, who kept dodging.
