I'm so happy to finally share my secret santa work, I had so much fun writing it!

Regulus Black is, against his will, a medium - he's been able to see and talk to ghosts for a long time, just like his brother, Sirius. After a lot of convincing, Regulus visits the most haunted house in England, alongside Remus and James. Unfortunately for Regulus, Sirius decides to do the investigation in pairs. Of course, Regulus just has to be paired up with James. Oh, his poor heart can't survive this, can it?

What is Marauders Secret Santa?

Marauders Secret Santa is a gift exchange fest designed to spread Christmas cheer throughout the fandom we’ve all decided to call home.

Much like the classic Christmas gifting game, everyone will be assigned one person for whom they will create a gift, whether that be a fic or fanart. In return, everyone will also receive a gift from their own Secret Santa.

How does it work?

Sign up

As part of the sign up process, you will provide information about what ships you like, as well as sfw (and nsfw for 18+) likes and dislikes to help guide your Secret Santa in creating your gift. You will also provide information about what ships and content you are happy to create for.

Assignments

Once sign ups have closed, our Mod Team will get to work on assigning everyone their Secret Santa. You will be notified of your Secret Santa recipient via email, including their username, what ships they like, and their likes/dislikes.

Creating

Put your Santa hat on and create your work for the person who will receive your gift! While the likes/dislikes provided to you during sign up are there to act as a guide and inspiration in creating your gift, you are definitely not required to include all of them in your gift.

Gifting

It’s time to reveal your Secret Santa identify and share your gift with its recipient. Gifts can be published any time between December 1 – December 26.

Without making a sound, Remus got up from his bed and crossed the space between them in a single step. He sat down next to Sirius without a word, unsure of what to do next. He wasn’t great at comforting people, especially when the person in need was the usually cheerful Sirius Black. He didn’t know what to say or how to act, so he sat there stiffly, debating his next move. Before he could gather his thoughts, he suddenly felt a weight on his lap. His heart raced, and his breath caught in his throat as he realized it was Sirius’s dark hair sprawled across his thighs.

What was he supposed to do now? Could this be considered just a friendly gesture? Sirius often hugged James, and it was never anything more than platonic. So why did Remus’s heart skip a beat? Why did he allow himself that sliver of hope? It was obvious that someone like Sirius Black couldn’t feel anything for him beyond friendship. Half the school had a crush on Sirius; there was no way he would notice someone as plain as Remus.

Bellatrix isn’t crazy. At least, she wasn’t always. But life hasn’t always been easy for her. All she wants is to make her parents proud, to make them love her. By the time she realises they only love what she can do for them, not who she is, it’s too late for her. An annoying blonde tries to prove otherwise. Rita tries to show her that love doesn’t have to come with unrealistic expectations, and that it doesn’t have to hurt. Or so it seems, because Bellatrix has to make an impossible choice - abandon her family or abandon her lover. Whatever she chooses will hurt not only her, but whoever she leaves. Impossible. Rita understands the difficult position her lover is in. But as the war becomes more dangerous, and Bellatrix is constantly putting herself in harms way, she has to make a choice herself. Abandon the woman she loves, or wait until the day she is told that she will never be able to look into those beautifully dark eyes again.

Merry Crisis! I return with a new fic. A gift to the wonderful Cas, aka @my-castles-crumbling , for the @marauderssecretsanta project. This time it's Wolfstar raising Harry Muggle AU, but make it the setting of the coziest of seasons. Therefore you can expect 22k full of fluff, fluff, and - you guessed it - even more fluff. Using this opportunity to escape London’s typical hustle and bustle, especially during the Christmas season, he and Harry soon find themselves surrounded by wide fields of snow, herds of sheep, and the golden lights of a Christmas market. A shame they ran out of milk… or is it, perhaps, a stroke of luck after all?

Sirius Black, a self-proclaimed Christmas hater artist, is presented with an amazing job opportunity just before the Holidays. It wouldn't be a problem if the CEO of the company didn't advocate for family-friendly policies, preferring to have a person with a stable family situation in a position of authority, and that person happens to be Peter Pettigrew, his direct work and personal rival.

The only reasonable solution? Asking his best friend to fake an established and happy relationship with him and borrowing his godson so they can pass as a very normal family during the Annual Team Building Christmas Trip.

What can go wrong? And why is Remus suddenly acting so weird? Why is Sirius feeling so weird?

So!! It's finally ready to start posting! I decided to participate this year in the @marauderssecretsanta and even if we almost didn't make it, we succeeded (for now!)

I had the absolute honour to write this work as a gift for the great @euripidestrousers. And you'll allow me a second to mention how much I love your writing. “I don’t like shackles, or cages, or at least…” A swipe of tongue over his plush lips. A dimple. “Not that in that context,” Barty finishes suggestively, his voice silky smooth, slipping into Sirius’ system like red wine, fuzzing up his thoughts. And then he winks.

Murder. Barty choking underneath him. Funerals. Barty’s funerals, his dead body in a casket, his mother weeping—Sirius exhales, unclenching his fist.

“Now, though? I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but we’re kind of… in one, so if you’d like to get a move on, anytime. Please. Help yourself.”

Sirius falters for a second, trying to catch up. He hasn’t really stopped to think about why the magic would trap him and Barty there, admittedly. He frowns, assessing their surroundings.

“Look up, darling.”

Sirius grits his teeth, playing a billion scenarios in his head on how to shove that darling up Barty’s arse, but obeys nonetheless, and finds himself faced with—

“Fuck.”

Of course, of fucking course. Because Merlin bless people, and their love for stupid useless shitty traditions. Because it wasn’t even here yesterday, but it has to be here tonight, of all times. Because Sirius and Barty had to be up at the same time, they had to run into each other at this ungodly hour, under this goddamn mistletoe, because why didn’t Sirius think of this scenario?

7. Betas are not necessary, but you can use an outside beta or find a beta on the server

8. The fest allows NSFW content, but only for 18+ participants and it needs to be tagged appropriately

Flames of Love & Revenge

FBI Agent Sirius Black is known to steal Detective James Potters cases. It happens again with their newest case, which leads them to meet a cute beanie-wearing witness.

As the complexity of another case that involves Bookshop Owner Remus grows, so do their feelings for each other. Due to the forced proximity of the two lawmen, it unexpectedly turns into a three-sided love story amidst the Chaos of the Case.

I had the best time (and still have, due to this still being an on going fic) participate in the this years @marauderssecretsanta !!! thank you so much for the mods to organise this amazing fest 🎄❤️‍🩹

When, out of desperation, he does, he's reminded of just why he'd never allowed himself to until then.

The hole in his chest had always felt the most alive when he was with Barty, as if something inside it was crawling around and clawing at the edges, desperate to escape. Sometimes, just being around him made Regulus feel like he was dying, but also as if he was more alive than he'd ever been before. Now, the thought alone of Barty winded him.
