Thinking so many thoughts about...... James and Remus both being Spiderman in their own universes and somehow meeting when a portal opens a passage between them.

- Earth 48915

Remus is eighteen. Your local nerd, the loner with his nose always stuck in a book, the weird kid who's never really made any friends in school or at church. The one who never attempts to talk to girls. Dirt poor, has recently moved to London with Hope after Lyall suddenly passed away in a car accident (Remus was driving the car). Him and his mum left Wales and their little village behind to go live with Hope's brother, Ben, to try and give their lives a new meaning and get Remus a better education while they're at it. He gets into this private posh Secondary thanks to his uncle's contacts and his outstanding academic records.

There, he meets Sirius Black: the fittest, richest, smartest, most successful boy of the entire school who exclusively hangs out with future runaway model, Mary Mcdonald, and his little brother, Regulus. In addition to his all-rounded perfection, Sirius also belongs to the family funded Black Industries, a multi-million pharmaceutical corporation that is well known for its advanced discoveries and unorthodox research methods.

Remus avoids Sirius (and everybody else) to the best of his capabilities until he gets paired up with him for the end of the first trimester science project. Sirius loathes science, chemistry, and everything that has anything to do with molecules or atoms. He still gets top marks in it, but his real forte his maths: arithmetic, trigonometry, calculus. Sirius's brain is like a computer wired to solve equations. Remus, on the other hand, is 100% the science nerd Orion Black wishes his son was. In the end, their project turns out to be so good that they get paired together for the rest of the year, and Remus keeps falling more and more head over heels in love with his new lab partner and is very pathetic about it.

They start hanging out outside of school too, after Remus catches Sirius crying in the bathrooms one afternoon during footie practice and Sirius breaks down to him about how horribly abusive his parents are to him and Regulus. One night, Sirius has the great idea to sneak into his father's private lab with Remus (who's now become a regular in Sirius' bedroom) to employ his scientific knowledge to understand some top secret project Orion has been very elusive about, and there Remus gets bitten by a modified specimen of Wolf-spider that Sirius mistakenly frees from its box.

Spiderman shenanigans ensue (but Remus' chronic joint pain gets cured, so he's not complaining all that much)

- Earth 48916

James is a high school senior in a prestigious private school in upstate New York. He lives in Brooklyn with his british/punjabi mother and puerto rican father. He's the 'five different vacation houses in five different states' type of rich boy. Straight A's and B's, captain of the soccer team with a fullride scholarship to Columbia University, every girl's and boy's dream boyfriend.

Everyone's but Lily Evan's, no one other than his main academic rival and the girl he's been desperately in (unrequited) love with since ninth grade. She's top of half their classes (mainly the ones James can't be bothered trying to excel at), future valedictorian, exceptionally hardworking and particularly gifted in 'all things science'. She also allegedly hates his guts.

James mainly hangs out his two childhood best friends: Marlene, star player of the female's soccer and basketball team, and Peter, their very own regional chess prodigy. When James is not with them, he's usually surrounded by the guys from his soccer team or the ladies from the 'Crocheting for Charity' club he attends on weekends. He never really dates anybody else, albeit being asked out almost daily, because his mom taught him that perseverance is the only way to truly show the authenticity of one's desires.

James gets bitten on a saturday night, when he overhears Lily Evans argue with Severus Snape, her ex best friend turned new nazi schizo, as he was heading out after his crochet meet-up. The two are fighting about something in the school's science lab and Severus keeps trying to get Lily to look at a small box he's placed on the table, but they just end up screaming at each other and Lily storms out of the room. In his hurry to chase after her, Severus mistakenly hits the box and drops it to the floor. James, who had hidden just behind the corner, enters the lab to check for himself what the whole argument is about, and the genetically modified Golden Silk Orb-Spider that once was in the box bites him.

Spiderman shenanigans ensue. James is thrilled, Marlene is too, Peter not so much.

And Lily is too curious, and way too good at science and genetics to not get roped up into the whole mess, unfortunately for her.

Specifically, their powers

Are their powers the same as Peter Parker’s spiderman or are they different and modified to the species of spider you chose?

Hello hellooo I hope you're having a lovely day!

So, powers uh?

I definitely think that both of them have the same basic powers as Peter Parker (super strength and agility, accelerated healing, spider sense and enhanced 5 senses, being able to climb and stick to all surfaces, and producing web fluid) and a couple little quirks on their own.

Remus was bitten by a Wolf Spider (eheh) which is a very robust breed with excellent eyesight and camouflage skills. It's also a hunting spider that prefers close range to kill its victims.

Based on the Wolf Spider I'd say that Remus has these few extra powers:

- Perfect Night Vision: enhanced vision works in complete darkness too, so that Remus can easily make his way through the night without missing a single detail. Along with all his other superhuman senses, it makes it nearly impossible to surprise him.

- Camouflage/invisibility: (Like Miles Morales) He can disappear from sight and become completely invisible for brief periods of time. This power is aided by the suit that Sirius and Mary make for him because Remus can't make his other clothes disappear alongside him.

- On full moon nights, Remus' canines switch out with a pair of fangs that can inject Wolf-Spider venom in whoever he bites. The venom is not powerful nor painful, it just makes the "prey" lightheaded and easier to capture, (Sirius tries to get freaky with it IMMEDIATELY). They are retractable on every other night, but Remus rarely uses them because he doesn't want to go around biting people.

On the other hand, James was bitten by a Golden Silk Orb-Weaver (or golden silk spider) which is specialized in intricate webbings and is a very agile hunter. James makes the most of this silk weaving abilities during all types of combat, especially because he has:

- Organic webbing: James produces and can use his own silk without web shooters (like Toby's Spiderman). His webs are extremely durable and very hard to break out of. He also produces more silk than other Spidermen, but doesn't know exactly how much more.

- Soften or Harden the Silk: after James shoots a web he can then either mollify it (by making it into some kind of gooey substance) or harden it. When a web is hardened, it turns very sharp and can cut through most semi-solid materials (like skin, rubber, plastic, etc).

• Web bullets: with hardened webs, James can shoot small bullets straight from his wrist (though they're way more powerful if he uses a tool like Remus' classic web shooter. He, Lily, Marlene and Peter make one. Sirius makes him a better version in three hours).

• Web Shields: James can weave a shield for anybody he wants to keep safe (or himself) and then harden the webs to grant them maximum protection.

- Sunlight vision: James can stare directly at the sun without damaging his eyesight, and he still has perfect vision in any type of artificially or naturally lit spaces.

Their little quirks and different personality types make it so their fighting styles are almost complete opposites.

Remus makes a more classical use of webs (swings around with them, uses them to trap criminals...) but he hates doing acrobatics and much prefers climbing on walls or ceilings rather than flying around. He excelles in single target/close range combat due to his Camo skills and physical strength, and he carries out most of his missions during the night thanks to Night Vision.

James prefers long range combat with multiple targets, since his main weapon are his webs and his agility. He is almost never on the ground, doesn't climb unless he specifically has to, and typically fights in the air. Web bullets let him hit multiple targets at high speed and he can instantly shield himself if he doesn't have cover in open spaces. He usually chases criminals during daytime, especially at dusk because by then he's out of school and also really likes the golden hour. It makes his red and gold costume pop.

GUESS WHO FINALLY FOUND SOMETHING TO GET THEM BACK INTO THEIR WRITING GROOVE!- yeah- okay, that’s right, it’s me, who else would it be- (I’m talking to myself ಥ‿ಥ )

BUT- I had like a really random thought about the marauders and spider man, I DIDNT EVEN KNOW THERE WAS MARAUDER SPIDER MAN AUS- sooooo, I’m now thinking of a modern spider-man poly marauders (+ oc, cause I’m pathetic.) soooo, I’m thinking the oc is Spider-Man, because I’m sad that I’ve yet to make my own spidersona so this is my way of making up for it-! Okay, so maybe the oc is their friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man, while also being a regular high school student (like a typical Spider-Man story-) and he’s some how recruited into something similar to the order of the Phoenix, to take down something similar to the death eaters, and he’s just brought really closely to James, Remus and Sirius. BUT! It could also just be this silly litter story with fluff and goofing around- hmmm

For anyone interested here's a bit of info so yk what you're getting yourself into:

The story starts at the very begining, with the spider biting Remus and him becoming the one and only Spiderman. On one hand we have his super hero life: fighting everyday crime and trying to figure out who is murdering innocent people with some... Weird, dark magic? And on the other hand we have his school life: humbly grown in Scotland, he moves to London to study in this incredibly posh school, filled with disgustingly posh people. He meets the marauders, who he doesn't like at first but he will end up warming up to: James, a Spiderman obssesed boy who proclaims himself his number one fan; Peter, a boy who's just kind of there and says whatever James says; and Sirius, a devilish, incredibly handsome boy who for some reason hates Spiderman.

Note that I'm not native (I'm Spanish lol) so I have SO MANY grammar errors. So I need help w that too. THATS IT THANKYOU!!
