RSA- I mentioned this in one of the earlier asks from like way back but Finn is a soccer goalie. Speaking of sports, Bianca plays volleyball. She looks a lot like penny except she has curly hair. The haywoods have brown eyes in this au bc I can 🤎. Which of her parents does Cherry resemble? Nobody drowned Dian, it was a shipwreck. So there’s possibly other ghosts from the ship as well. RSA- okay one of the asks is refusing to send so I rewrote it. Thea is a ballet dancer primarily for the visual of her as Odette in swan lake (I’m a Tchaikovsky fan). Dian was Indonesian and Thea and Frankie are both from the Mediterranean. Thea specifically is Greek. The two of them met by the coastline. Thea’s original name was Galatea after the Greek myth so maybe Thea is a nickname. Thea 🤝 Mina= having shortened nicknames. Frankie just sleeps in a tub of water under Thea’s bunk.

RSA- Bianca being a squib and not feeling bad about it bc of love and support from her friends and family. I don’t know who her other mom is, originally it was skye. Skye has like a casual romantic relationship with JT and I don’t really ship her with Penny anymore. Mina did not pick up any quidditch skills from either Skye or JT. In general, she’s bad at sports. She also just doesn’t care for them, although she always shows up for her friends’ games.

Speaking of fruits, Rowan’s friends having a reunion near the cherry tree that she and Adel grew. JT is allergic to cherries so she stays away from the tree. Merula keeps her company and pretends that Rowan and Adel’s tree is too sentimental for her. Bc of her allergy, Mina doesn’t grow cherries unless her mom is somewhere else.

Mina dating Mara is a bit funny since I named her after Mina from the Dracula novel.

RSA- Cherry working as a chef at Jae’s restaurant when she’s older. His restaurant is probably on the island or nearby it. Also I have considered Chiara adopting Finn. Finn Lobosca-Kim just has a ring to it. Her and Jae hyphenate names out of respect for each other plus they just really like hearing each other’s names (clowns). I can’t with these two. God, everyone is a sap for each other. Rip to their friends who have to deal with clowns.

RSA- Finn being okay with his lycanthropy because he has someone like Chiara to guide him through it when he’s younger plus growing up in an environment that doesn’t hate him for being a werewolf. I like to think that wolfsbane is more common by this time. I mentioned Chiara adopting Finn and the image of her seeing this tiny little werewolf orphan and immediately recognizing him as “son”. Her on full moons and interacting with him like how wolves treat their cubs.

RSA- okay but mermaid! Adel in this au? Rowan deciding to build her school on an island so she could be near Adel. Mer!Rowan is also v good. In general, life on the island. There’s sand on the coastline so people going down to the shore on weekends. Beach episode with half of it centering on the teachers and the other half on the kids. JT and Mina spend time with each other by doing absolutely nothing. Mara has a really big sun hat and really strong sunscreen bc otherwise she’ll burn up.

RSA- kids getting sick and Chiara making sure that their friends don’t get sick as well if they visit them. When Mina’s sick, any plants she grows turn weird. Bananas turning red,strawberries growing to the size of her head, etc. Finn tried one of the bananas despite Mina and Cherry warning him not to (he was fine). I mentioned her having a stuffed otter (his name is mango. She named him when she was five) and she keeps him as she grows older. Mango just lives under the bunk.

RSA- yopi is such a cute name!!! 🥺 how’d you come up with it? Also more stuff about the school. There’s a mural painted by Badeea that shows the founding of the school. The Khanna family planted trees around the school, specifically rowan trees. The library is really big like the kind that someone could get lost in. Rowan knows it like the back of his hand. Kids can be spotted all over, next to bookshelves or at tables, reading the different books or doing their homework.

Cherry knows, she’s heard them. They’re not as subtle as they think. Penny makes sure Bianca is warm before letting her go out, esp when she’s little. Tiny Bianca waddling like a penguin in two coats and her head wrapped up in a scarf and hat. Bea convinced Penny to relax on that matter after stopping herself from laughing.

RSA- mornings at the school. Cherry seems like a morning person. The sun rises and she’s up and going. Mina is the exact opposite, she has to be dragged out of bed and she refuses to get up before noon on weekends. Adel and Rowan making breakfast together. RSA- ideas I had for the au that were scrapped. I was debating between whether or not the school should have uniforms before deciding on them. Mina originally had an older sister named Skyler (two guesses as to who she was named after) that was friends with Bianca. I ended up cutting her out since she wasn’t that interesting and I changed Bianca’s age to match Mina’s. Speaking of which, Bianca was originally home schooled. The school building went through different designs including domed.

RSA- Penny’s kid is named Bianca (yes that’s from the pjo books). Winter kid is a dhampyr named Mara. Her birthday is in early December and she can turn into a fruit bat bc of that she’s also a frugivore meaning she primarily eats fruit (I had to look up the word for it. They’re both roommates in Cherry’s dorm. The other three roommates are different types of monsters. Mara started dating Mina around their mid to late teens. Cherry was the first person to find out thanks to Mina.

RSA- Cherry’s friends helping her with baking 🥺. Mina helps every time except if the recipe contains peanuts (allergy) in which case Finn steps in. That did not stop her from stealing a peanut butter cookie one type and promptly giving both Cherry and Finn a heart attack. She wanted to know how they tasted. Does Cherry have any allergies herself? Speaking of baking, home economics class and the school offering magical and non-magical versions. Different teachers pitch in for that one.

RSA- Mina was not a very social child when she was little so it makes perfect sense that her parents would encourage her to spend time with Cherry. Cherry was probs her first human friend, before that it was mainly her family’s pets and a stuffed otter (Yes that’s the same one that she said was sick once. That was after she befriended Cherry). Also Cherry and Rowan Jr. !!! 🥺. Does she have any pets of her own? She seems like a dog person tbh.

RSA- the kids looking for formal wear together and their different styles. Mina goes for the same thing everytime. A pink/magenta dress with no sleeves and matching shoes. Her friends keep an extra jacket on hand in case she gets cold. Finn picks out the tackiest suits available, the kind that would give Andre a heart attack. Bianca and Mara usually wear pantsuits and dresses respectively. I have no idea what Cherry’s sense of style is but she seems like a tux person.

RSA- Cherry and Finn bonding over the sports they play. Finn is an only child and Bianca is too until she’s eleven as that’s when Penny adopted a baby. The different friends helping out with the kids. Merula isn’t very good with children so she usually only watches them when everyone else is busy. Ben helps her out. Now I just realized that Merula not knowing how to take care of kids is likely because of her parents’ neglect, besides her general disinterest (she teaches older kids.)

RSA- Winter on the island. JT and Diego teaching kids how to figure skate. Badeea painting the walls of her classroom to look like snowfall. Cherry and her friends baking winter foods. Mina brings peppermint desserts to her mom. Both her and JT get cold easily so besides figure skating, they stay indoors. Finn loves the snow. When he’s younger, he sneaks out on full moons to play in the snow before Chiara finds him and brings him back inside. The visual of her carrying him like cats with kittens

RSA- the rest of the roommates. Frankie a half-human half-mermaid demigirl (she/they). Her last name is Fishman bc I have no sense of subtlety. Dian(He/She) a ghost who drowned when he was fourteen. He died before the school was built so he’s the only student that doesn’t wear a uniform. Thea (she/her) a swan maiden (for clarification, they’re like selkies except they’re swans instead of seals). She’s a trans girl and the oldest of the roommates (besides Dian) though she’s only a year older.

RSA- cultural backgrounds: JT and Ismelda are both partially German. They both speak the language and maybe teach it as well. Finn is welsh. Chiara is apparently an Italian name so her parents could be Italian immigrants. Unless the game specifically refers to them as being from England, they are not english.

RSA- I forgot about Adel’s phobia. If it’s any consolation, I’m afraid of most bugs (literally every bug except bees). JT has nosophobia (the fear of disease) so flu season is an absolute nightmare for her. RSA- sometimes Thea gets mistaken for a lobosca-kim since she’s got white hair and pale skin like Chiara plus black eyes. I like to think Chiara is tall so Thea looks like her in that regard as well but no she’s not related to any of them. She also follows the wolf trend of obvious names. Her full name influenced her design since Galatea means “milk white” and in the myth, Galatea was originally a statue. RSA- the kids tried burying Dian in the sand once. It did not work for obvious reasons. Also what if Mina added violets or cherry blossoms to Cherry’s hair? Idk what Mina’s favorite flower is but her favorite fruit is mangoes bc they’re the first thing she knew how to grow. She grew other stuff before that but it was out of her control and wouldn’t last too long. JT’s favorite flowers are sunflowers so Mina grows them on her mom’s birthday and Mother’s Day. RSA- I mentioned the former existence of Skyler and the angel au reminded me of her bc she had blue wings. So what if after the lines between demons and angels have been blurred there are kids with more colorful wings. It does make it more dangerous since people would be able to tell that they’re half demon half angel instead of just a fallen angel or demon. Bianca being homeschooled was cut out since her mom already teaches at a school in this au plus there’s not the ch 18 trauma

RSA- Rowan passing her scarf down to Cherry 🥺. Cherry wearing it every year during the winter and showing it to her friends. Finn absolutely loves it. When did cherry get interested in baking? Baby cherry with her parents 🥺. When Mina was a baby, JT refused to let anyone besides herself and thistle hold Mina for the first few months. Penny, Tonks, and Chiara convinced JT to let them watch Mina so that Mina’s parents could take a break. It was the least they could do for their old roommate.

I remember I sent in an ask to a different person about picturing Penny with brown eyes and someone reblogged that with an edit of brown eyed Penny. I was going to include a link to that in this ask but that didn’t work. (The edit was by theatricalasshole. He did a great job on it). RSA- the school in the early years with Rowan as the only teacher and twenty students like those schoolhouses in the olden days. We both know the school gets bigger as more people teach/study there but the small, cozy nature of the early years. Students growing up and some of them teaching at the school when they’re adults. Students and teachers having positive memories of the school after they graduate or retire. Wait Rowan in dark academia aesthetic/ fashion 👀
