Funfact: Lynette originally drew what Mara looked like according to Alexander. But being unable to actually see Mara in full before, she couldn't tell that Mara was a siren. Siren come in many shapes and variations. They are created from parasitic tongue latchers that if left untreated take over the mind, voice, and use magic to subjugate others via a sealed kiss to do their bidding. Also much like other deep parasitic creatures, if they sense the death of their host nearing, they will flee to another. Tongue latchers flee via a kiss too.
