I've been elbow deep in a surprise Steddie smut fic that just keeps growing and growing 🤣 Here's the last little bit I wrote, because it made me laugh.

“Dude!” Steve says. “Put your pants back on!” “Why?” Eddie calls over his shoulder as he moves into the other room. Steve sits up and starts doing his pants back up. “You can’t be Donald Ducking it around my house, man, that’s fucking weird.” He reaches for the remote and turns off the useless redhead and her screechy wailing. Eddie doesn’t say anything, but a second later his dirty shirt sails out of the kitchen and lands in the middle of the living room floor. “Oh, real nice, Eds!” Steve yells. “That’s unsanitary!” Eddie, he thinks, is starting to get a little too comfortable around here.

Podded for Voiceteam 2024 as a collaboration with @kbirbpods! We each recorded this double drabble, then traded each other our Kanan pieces, and then created 2 unique pods featuring ourselves as Hera and the other person as Kanan! We also picked music for ours that we thought the other would like, and each made the cover art for each other.

Tommy shrugs. It’s easier to let everyone think he doesn’t like to be touched because if he starts letting people touch him he’s going to want more and he knows better. He knows how tactile he can be, he’s aware of how annoying it is. He also knows not to want too much or to share too much. Howie shifts slowly over, picks up the frog and holds it out to Tommy. Tommy takes it.

Thank you for answering! I would actually really love to know who to follow on tumblr especially. I cant get enough clone content on my dash it seems XD. Writing Patterns (Tag Game)

Boil's eyes snap open, his heart thudding in his chest, but there's no jarring moment of disorientation as the strange dream slides away. (fic)

Touching Waxer is always good these days, but Boil can't deny taking particular pleasure in feeling Waxer's body move. (drabble chapter)

The sun has only been up for about an hour when Waxer, with Boil and Pala in tow, reaches the outskirts of Nabat. (fic)

The general's lightsaber deflects three more red plasma bolts in rapid succession. (fic)

After three and a half years of friendship, Waxer knows that sleeping close to Boil tends to help with his occasional bouts of insomnia. (fic)

"Well," the junior medic says to Boil, "those wasp-like insects stung you in a few spots where your armor wasn't protecting you, but as far as I can tell, you're alright." (fic)

"All turbolift passengers, please stand by," the speaker drones in Ryl, then in Basic. (drabble chapter)

Waxer slips from dream to waking with a shaky exhale against his pillow. (fic)

Leaning back against Waxer like this, Boil is twisted awkwardly to keep his shoulder out of Waxer's face, but he has no complaints. (drabble)

After the whole thing with the gutkurrs a few weeks ago, Boil took some painkillers for his bad knee and figured that would be the end of it for a while. (fic)

Haha, well, I pretty much start all fics in medias res in some way or another, whether it's combat or mid-smut or a character waking up—which I seem to use a lot, haha. I don't seem to start with dialogue much, and the remainder are fairly evenly split between inner monologue and what's happening physically to/around the character.

Thanks for the tag, @amukmuk! :D Here's something I just started this morning for @waxerboilmonth (last paragraph I wrote, unedited):

Boil and Waxer miraculously ended up with matching sleep shifts, so they took advantage of their officers' privileges to claim a bunk in the small barracks. Boil's squad griped at him good-naturedly, but it's not as if he's the only sergeant in Waxer's platoon who jumped at the chance to sleep indoors for a few hours. He's not even the only sergeant bunking with his LT, and he knows for a fact that Wooley, who should be crashing with the other ARCs, slipped off in the direction of the commander's temporary quarters hours ago.
