Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi Film Review
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Image of Lead filmstars in the film Ramprasad ki Tehrvi Plot: This film is about the family of Ram Prasad, who has died, and all of his six children, four sons and two daughters, who come to their ancestral house on the thirteenth day of their father's death. Instead of sharing their grief, they all become entangled in their own problems and begin fighting among themselves. They had never come to see their parents before, but now they have come and are fighting among themselves on their father's rituals. Their mother is silently watching all of this, saying nothing. Now that the mother is alone, whose son will take her with him? Will she live alone in such a large house? To find out, watch the movie. Tone and Theme: The tone of this film is family drama, and the theme is family and relationships. The goal of making this film is to show the reality of today's families, which is that children don't care about their parents. It draws attention to the issue and makes an impression. It forces us to face the realities of our society. Acting and Characters: Supriya Pathak Kapoor has done an excellent job as Amma. She did a splendid job playing her role. Her acting abilities are exceptional. She has effectively conveyed the pain of losing a husband on her face. Naseeruddin Shah plays a guest role. He performed admirably in his limited screen time. Konkona Sen Sharma's performance as Seema can also be described as good. Her acting conveyed a completely different attitude, sadness, pain, and loneliness on screen. The supporting cast includes Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Vikrant Massey, Manoj Pahwa, Ninad Kamat, Vinay Pathak, Deepika Amin, Divya Jagdale, Sadiya Siddiqui, Anubha Fatehpura, Sarika Singh, Brijendra Kala, Shrikant Verma, Rajendra Gupta, Pushpa Joshi, Vineet Kumar, Alka Kaushal, and Yamini Dass. All of whom play their. It directed by Seema Pahwa, a well-known film actress. This is her first Hindi movie, and her directorial debut. She attempted to tell the story in a good way. It moves at a slow pace, but it never deviates from the plot. She has effectively depicted the story's conflict and confrontation. Seema Pahwa has done an excellent job directing her first movie. All the characters very well portrayed on screen. Everyone appears to be acting like real-life characters. Story-Screenplay: Seema Pahwa's story is also contemporary; relationships are no longer important in society, and the screenplay is magnificent. Dialogues: Seema Pahwa has written dialogues of all the characters that seem believable and fit perfectly according to the story of the film. Everyone's dialogues match the tone and theme of the film, The dialogue in the film's narration accurately describes all the characters' expressions. Music and Background Score: Sagar Desai's music and background score had little impact; all the songs were played in the background, and the background score complemented the movie's mood and story. Lyricist: All the songs written by Neeraj Pandey connect themselves to the story. Cinematography: Sudip Sengupta shot the entire movie in a single house. So there wasn't much scope in the film, but all the shots that were shot inside the house were brilliantly shot. Resul Pookutty and Amrit Pritam provide excellent sound design. Production Design: Parijat Poddar's production design was based on the story. Dipika Kalra's editing could have been tighter. The film is slow-paced, and the pace between scenes is weak. Costume Design: Darshan Jalan and Manish Tiwari's costume designs complement the film's theme and tone. Opinion: People who enjoy watching art films can see this film once. Climax: The film's climax was very well executed. Message: In today's families, it is very important to cherish relationships and affection for one another. Nominations for the 67th Filmfare Awards include Best Film, Best Actress, Best Director, and Best Debut Director. Nominations were received for Best Film Critics, Best Story, and Best Supporting Actress. The film received one Best Debut Director award, which went to Seema Pahwa. CBFC-U Movietime: 1h.53m Genre: Family Drama Backdrop: Lucknow Release: 2021 Cast includes Supriya Pathak Kapoor, Konkona Sen Sharma, Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Vikrant Massey, and Manoj Pahwa. CBI Accuses Kejriwal and AAP of Criminal Conspiracy in Excise Policy Case
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a supplementary charge sheet accusing Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his party, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), of a criminal conspiracy to privatise the 2021 Delhi Excise Policy for financial gains. The CBI claims that the policy was specifically designed to benefit select liquor businesses in exchange for kickbacks, which were allegedly used to fund AAP’s campaign in the 2022 Goa Assembly elections.
The investigation highlights that Vijay Nair, AAP’s media and communications head, played a pivotal role in the conspiracy. According to the CBI, Nair, without any formal authority to negotiate on excise matters, solicited bribes from liquor business owners under Kejriwal’s direct instructions. These businesses were promised favourable terms under the excise policy in return for their financial contributions. The CBI alleges that these funds were funnelled into AAP’s election expenditures and used to pay for campaign-related activities, including hiring vendors and campaign managers.
Durgesh Pathak, a senior AAP leader, is also named in the charge sheet for managing these funds. The CBI claims that Pathak oversaw the transfer of bribe money through hawala channels, which allowed large sums to be distributed without leaving a clear financial trail. The charge sheet points out that these cash payments were deliberately omitted from AAP’s official election expense reports, raising concerns about the party's financial transparency.
Several other high-profile AAP leaders, including former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, have been implicated. Sisodia, who oversaw the excise department at the time, was previously arrested in connection with the case but has since been released on bail. Kejriwal, who has denied all allegations, has been in custody since March 2024. His bail plea is currently being reviewed by the Supreme Court.
The CBI asserts that it has gathered substantial evidence, including documents and witness testimonies, to support its claims. The case has sparked widespread political controversy, with opposition parties accusing AAP of corruption and financial misconduct. As the investigation continues, the case could have significant political ramifications for AAP, particularly as the party prepares for future elections. If proven, the allegations could severely impact AAP’s reputation and leadership, potentially undermining its governance in Delhi and beyond.
The investigation is ongoing, and the political fallout from the case is being closely monitored. Further developments are expected as the legal process advances. For more politics news in Hindi, subscribe to our newsletter.

Atishi Claims BJP Switch Offer, Says These AAP Leaders To Be Arrested Soon
Four more senior leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) are set to be arrested over the next two months, Delhi minister Atishi alleged today, accusing the BJP of using central agencies in its attempt to crush AAP. The ruling party, she alleged, plans to arrest her, Delhi minister Saurabh Bharadwaj, AAP MP Raghav Chadha and party MLA Durgesh Pathak.
Tumblr media
"The BJP has approached me through someone very close. They have asked me to join the BJP and said this will save my political career. They have threatened that if I don't switch over, ED (Enforcement Directorate) will arrest me within a month," she told the media.
She said the person who approached her on behalf of the BJP had said that the ruling party had "made up its mind on crushing everyone in AAP".
"First, they put everyone in AAP's leadership in jail. Satyendra Jain, Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh and now Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal have been arrested. The BJP's plan is to arrest four more AAP leaders in the next two months. They will arrest me, Saurabh Bharadwaj, Durgesh Pathak and Raghav Chadha," she said.
The BJP, Ms Atishi said, had thought that the party would splinter after Arvind Kejriwal's arrest. "But after the rally in Ramlila Maidan Sunday, the BJP thinks the arrest of four leaders was not enough," she said.
The Delhi minister claimed that she had received information that ED may raid her and her relatives' homes in the coming days. "We are Arvind Kejriwal's soldiers, we won't be cowed down by BJP's threats."
Ms Atishi referred to the ED's submission in court that Mr Kejriwal had said AAP's former communication boss Vijay Nair reported to her and Mr Bharadwaj.
"This information is already in ED's and CBI's chargesheets. It is possible that ED took our names so that they proceed on arresting the second line of AAP leadership," she said.
The BJP described the AAP leader's allegations as "baseless". Party leader RP Singh said, "I too can say that Saurabh Bharadwaj called me up and requested me to protect them from Arvind Kejriwal who wants to put them behind bars and make Sunita Kejriwal the Chief Minister. This is their internal tussle, which is coming out again and again in different forms."
"The truth is that action will be taken against all whose names are involved in the matter. It is clear that the fight for the CM post has begun in AAP. Saurabh Bharadwaj and Atishi are on one side and Sunita Kejriwal and Arvind Kejriwal are on the other," he alleged, according to news agency ANI.
Ms Atishi's allegations and the BJP's counter are the latest in the heated exchanges between AAP and BJP leaders in the wake of Mr Kejriwal's arrest in a money laundering related to Delhi's now-scrapped liquor policy. The Chief Minister has been remanded in judicial custody till April 15 and moved to Delhi's Tihar jail. The ED has said he is not cooperating in the probe.

WHO, besides the CFO, should be involved in procurement's migration to the cloud?
How does your procurement department leverage the cloud, and what benefits do you realize?
As I listened to Manish Pathak, MBA video below, I was reminded of two articles related to Long View Systems#ActivateDigital conferences regarding the cloud. Before I share these posts, “cloud repatriation” was a growing trend in 2019 due to what was referred to as”ill-constructed migration plans with poorly defined objectives.” Based on the repatriation trend, Mark Thiele – whose words are as…
