I guess after like...months, it’s time to clear some things about Smith’s name. (and it’s origins)

his first appearance in Secret neighbor was this:

a tiny picture on the board, which let us know, that Smith actually exists, and will be a character in Hello Guest.

after a few updates, we actually got the Sombrero man/ManInTheHat event, which included his model in the game as well.

people dug up the files, and indeed, he ran by the name “Man in the hat”

then, the name was obvious. because of the first image, I already kept calling him “Sombrero man”. in-game, this picture is very small, and it looks like he’s wearing a sombrero. (ring ding tharmos!)

after a small talk with some friends, RetroDiscoid put together the “Sombrero Man In The Hat” words and it became SMITH.

and the rest is history.

so yeah, partly our child, at least when it comes to the name. :D
