i can't believe that instead of gojo, the kids now have kusakabe and meimei and gakuganji. i hope shoko, utahime and higuruma are there to stay with the kids

gojo wasn't perfect, but he cared about the kids, even if he had a personal benefit in trying to make all the kids stronger and a foundation of the jujutsu world

and they all are just kids. strong and capable, yes, but they are kids who need adults who will be there for them, in one way or another

I literally saw someone say laios is too autistic for romance... you guys HAVE to start being respectful to autistic people. like I know he's just a character but its emblematic of real problems. Even if it's just a joke, it is NOT FUNNY to perpetuate ableism in the form of jokes. I see like a thousand posts a day about how he has autistic swag and in the SAME POST joke about how his friends actually hate him, nobody could REALLYYY like him they're all just pretending <3, he's too autistic for sex or romance or love.

He has canonical problems in the text with people pretending to be his friend, or people secretly hating him. We've gone over and over again about how divorcing autistic people and characters from sex and romance on the whole is infantilizing. (individual ace/aro headcanons are fine, but maybe also examine where they're coming from when its characters widely seen as autistic). I feel like a lot of fans don't even realize what they're doing. oftentimes what you think is funny fan content is actually you making fun of him and excluding him from things based on his autistic traits.

And this isn't even MENTIONING the racism in making kabru be aggressive to laios for no reason all the time when kabru has genuine reason and understanding even when he thinks he might need to kill laios. OR how weird it is that people will boil down falin's autistic traits for farcille and say like "yeah she's similar to laios, but she's less of a 'freak' (AKA has developed people pleasing social skills) so marcille likes her still :)"

ngl this pisses me off more than a little bit. i know yugi's played off as a wimp and a baby or whatever while yami yugi is so cool and swag but. yugi has always been a strong duelist? why are they shocked? he's the one who introduced duel monsters to everyone, he lives at a game shop with his grandpa. he's always had a strong will and is determined no matter what, ever since s0/beginning of the manga as a whole. he's determined that jou will be his friend and do the right thing, he sticks up for jou despite having been bullied by him, he solved the millennium puzzle completely by himself and never gave up. yugi has definitely grown up more thanks to their adventures and living with his other self, but he wasn't a super mega baby in constant need of saving beforehand. his friends really do not respect him at all until yami comes around and then once yami is forcefully taken, yugi proves his strength, and they're like "oh wow he's strong now!!!" HE'S BEEN STRONG!!!

This man didn't even touched his cake since he's waiting for his wife to come back so they can eat the cake together while Anya is already devouring her piece 😂😂 It's sweet for him to have this habit that he eats when Yor eats as well. What a husband attitude. And did you see how he defended Yor's innocence in this chapter?

He always gets so defensive when it comes to Yor, since Camilla's party, he defended her in front of her coworkers, in the Eden interview when Swan badmouthed her ability as a mother, he defended her and he was genuinely upset with the way Swan embarrassed his wife, when Nightfall said that Yor's being uncooperative and she should be replaced as his wife, his tone and glare changes into a defensive demeanor. Loid always comes to her defense without missing a beat, and he wasn't calculating those reactions, he did these without the mission on his mind.

This man is already slowly falling in love with her from the very beginning and I think by the time Yor's secret would be revealed to him, not even her real identity as a killer would stop him from being with her for he's already and irrevocably down bad for her

PLEASE pile up on me your favorite Teacher Izuku fics. Ones with some depth and personalities to the students rather than just a one-shot, I'd love to see slice of life fics with Deku dadzawa-ing his students and his students being Deku's personal problem children and all the sweet casual fluff crap 😭 all these tropes and ideas I'm seeing on twitter and tumblr are making me long and I'm close to just starting an ao3 account and writing them myself.

Manga Rec: The One Within The Villainess

Hey tumblr, I heard you like unhinged women.

The One Within The Villainess is the story of the elaborate revenge plan the protagonist/villainess Remilia enacts on those who had hurt the one she loves the most: the girl who was possessing her body.

It starts as a typical Isekai: Emi, a girl from our world, dies and reincarnates in the body of the villainess of her favorite otome game, Remilia, and decides she will live a happy, generous life. But here is the thing: Remilia is not gone. She is trapped inside her own body, so she can both acess Emi's past memories and watch as Emi lives her life.

And Remilia loves it.

The villainess, from within her own body, genuinely starts to love and adore Emi as her own sister.

But then something (or better, someone) happens (if you know the genre, you can imagine what), and all the friends Emi had tried so hard to make to give the villainess Remelia her happiness suddenly betray her. And the emotional shock is so strong that Emi gets "reverse isekaied": she goes to sleep inside the villainess, and Remilia, who had been watching over her for years now, takes control of her own body back.

And my girl is insanely pissed.

And so starts the journey of our villainess to both achieve "The Villainess Remilia's Happiness" that Emi tried so hard to give her and enact her extremely elaborated and cruel revenge plot against those who took Emi from her. She's unhinged and insanely smart and I love her.

The support cast is pretty good too, and the artwork is amazing. The plot doesn't fall back into cliches and the pay off is immensely satisfying.

I have all of these extended thoughts on my head about the amazing way themes and character relationships are handled in Iruma-kun and the inclusion of queerness and the handling of the coming of age narrative in this shonen manga/anime

shut yer mouth because yuji became a student at tokyo only a COUPLE of months before the shibuya arc. within THREE months he learned rct, surpassed gojo in black flashes, learned blood manipulation and unlocked his awakening. ofc sukuna's pissed off bc his biggest threat is a 15 year old boy who has little experience in the jujutsu world..

so if yuji itadori has no defenders, i must be 30 feet under laughing with the devil named sukuna bc what... I WILL ALWAYS DEFEND HIM!!!!
