✒ bee’s apartment is eclectic. she’s filled it, in the short time she’s had it, with all the best furniture and decoration that thrift stores and the sidewalk can provide. it’s cozy enough, and filled with plants installed and maintained (mostly! not entirely!) by blossom, to “keep her company.” they do their job. while the one-bedroom shoebox is an upgrade from her previous no-bedroom shoebox in general, bee loves two things in particular about it. one: her desk. it’s always littered with textbooks or medical journals, a coffee mug or three, her notes, and whatever project she’s currently head-deep in. something about that, having a space that’s entirely your own, it’s...nice. new. two: her windows. some have those beautiful, gauzy curtains that sway on the breeze. most don’t. all of them, however, can be found open, unless there is a torrential rain or threat of freezing weather. if you spend the night here: hope it’s during spring or summer. 

what is your muse’s full name and do they have any nicknames? briar lim, aka bee, has a three letter name, and as we all know: short names are notoriously hard to nickname. bb (or was it beebee?) has been heard, and bug. submit yours now!

what do they look like? include hair, eyes, skin tone, tattoos, etc. ! bee’s has shoulder-blade length hair varies anywhere between strawberry blonde to candy pink, depending on where she is in her dye cycle, and honey-coloured eyes. she’s short —  5′4, impassably short, if you ask her — and generally small, though agreeing with that sentiment likely won’t end well. currently, she has only two tattoos: her amaranthine one, hiding in plain sight behind her left ear, and a large nettle tattoo on her right forearm. 

do they have any distinguishing features such as scars, unique birthmarks, etc.? aside from the eyes which, let’s be honest, are quite distinguishing, bee could stand to vanish, if needed. she has scars, sure, some that could be from childhood tumbles, and some that resemble circular burn-marks, but who doesn’t?

what is your muse’s friends and family like? who do they usually surround themselves with? briar stopped associating with her “family” quite awhile ago, but that’s pretty standard for folks in this business. those two earth-and-water elemental fae roommates, however, would be the closest thing to family she has now; lord knows she spends enough time with the fae squad and in their apartment to make that true. 

who would you consider the closest person to your muse? see above: choosing one over the other could result in tears or bodily harm. 

where was your character born and what was their living situation growing up there? bee is born-and-bred korean! she grew up in the suburbs, of course, in a big, non-child-friendly home before migrating to the city proper, but the exact details of where she was born have been lost to time. 

what is your muse’s biggest fear and does anyone know? if so, who, and if not, why not? only the witchdoctor. 🤫

has your muse ever fallen in love before? if so, with who? did it end well? bee hasn’t fallen in love before, no. there have been romantic relationships, after a while of struggle for platonic ones. they didn’t end well for...perhaps obvious reasons. after she began to master the concept of romantic relationships, now, she can begin to learn the concept of love, vis a vis falling in. 

what would you find in your muse’s refrigerator right now? half-drank coffee -- because she always thinks she shouldn’t waste it if she doesn’t finish it, and it’s never good the day after. she’s not a great cook, so mostly staple, frozen things, and dairy-free milk for tea. 

what does your muse usually wear? you can describe, link pictures, etc. ! bee loves loose-fitting things. for one, it masks her size. for two, they flow in the breeze that tends to follow her around, making her feel like stevie nicks. often blacks or neutral tones, but there are a couple pastel sweaters or blood-reds in her closet she can break out when the time’s right. her makeup is typically minimal as well, with a lack of lipstick, thanks to her constant lip-biting or sweet tooth. 

what is your muse’s strongest memory that they carry around? likely not one specific moment, but a collection of small feelings. glass cutting into skin, or tar. maybe the taste of her first drink at amaranthine, the feeling of her bandaged tattoo pulsing behind her ear. first time petting a cat. y’know; that sort of thing.

what is your muse’s full name and do they have any nicknames?

Ryu Jimin is her legal name, but that name’s been dead to her since around 998. She goes by the name her father gave her, Valerius. Call her Valeri.

what do they look like? include hair, eyes, skin tone, tattoos, etc. !

Valeri stands at 5′5″, is relatively fair in complexion, and lithe/slender in physique. Don’t let her soft features fool you, for if you look closely, lightly defined muscle peeks out from beneath her mesh tops and leggings. She could crush you with her thighs and you would thank her for it. Her hair is long, deep burgundy, and cascades down her back in loose curls. Her eyes are a stunning alizarin crimson when using her powers, but are a shade of brown so dark they may as well be black when she’s not. 

do they have any distinguishing features such as scars, unique birthmarks, etc.?

She’s got a small beauty mark under her right eye, but nothing distinguishing outside of that. 

what is your muse’s friends and family like? who do they usually surround themselves with?

Friends? Well… She supposes she’s got Yeoreum, Q, and Liz. That’s about it. Her family is all but dead, aside from her father, but she hasn’t seen him in a fair 100 years or so. Every now and then she grows fond of a member, perhaps a sex worker in her care, but that’s about it. She surrounds herself with work associates. 

who would you consider the closest person to your muse?

At one point, that answer was Q. Now, though? That’s an excellent question. 

where was your character born and what was their living situation growing up there?

Ryu Jimin was born in a forest that would one day become the bustling city of Seoul, but Valerius was born in the freedom that came from the fires in Hell, as dramatic as it sounds. Jimin was confined and restrained in a little cabin in the woods, limited to the world around her. Valerius had full reign to explore her father’s domain as she pleased.  Val preferred Hell.

what is your muse’s biggest fear and does anyone know? if so, who, and if not, why not?

She really doesn’t fear much of anything. Death doesn’t scare her, she knows her father’s just going to spit her right back out, failure is just an opportunity to learn- the only thing she’s afraid of, if you could even call it that, is having her freedom taken from her. She refuses to be limited, and will rest at nothing to ensure that she’s free to do as she pleases. This isn’t something she overtly mentions, but it’s something you can pick up on if you spend enough time around her.

has your muse ever fallen in love before? if so, with who? did it end well?

She’s fallen in love time and time again. She’s a goddess among men and she’s been around for 400 years. She’s had suitors, lovers, and husbands alike, time and time again. None of them ever lasted long. As soon as they showed their true colors and tried to put her in a subservient position, refused to see her as an autonomous, intelligent equal she killed them. Each and every time she falls in love she thinks they’ll be better than the last one. I know it.

what would you find in your muse’s refrigerator right now?

Honestly, mostly wines. A few staples, some comfort foods- it’s not that she can’t cook, it’s that she really doesn’t care too much about food. It’s a necessity, sure, but she’ll throw a salad or a soup together and call it a day. If she ever feels like having something particular she’ll just hit up the store before she heads home.

what is your muse’s strongest memory that they carry around?

Perhaps it was the first husband she killed… or maybe the second. Maybe even the third? Mostly the idea of just disposing of the men in the world that didn’t deserve women, let alone a queen like herself. Your husband is a chauvinistic, sexist, abusive pig? Just murder him. Simple. Efficient. You get life insurance. Everyone wins… well, aside from the husband, but he doesn’t matter. Really, though, it’s the memory of Q teaching her how to kill her husband for laying a finger on her.

Amano Hanako (Hana for short) is technically a nickname, though it’s the legal name of her vessle. Her name is Castus. Only Kannika knows that, however. Even though it’s just a code name, she does like being called Sakura. 

what do they look like? include hair, eyes, skin tone, tattoos, etc. !

Small frame, petite girl, fair skin, long mid-tone brown hair, and brown eyes. She’s beautiful, but very plain. She doesn’t really stand out too much. 

do they have any distinguishing features such as scars, unique birthmarks, etc.?

Do wings count? She has wings. They’re not out very much, only in the privacy of her home...alone...with the blinds drawn. 

what is your muse’s friends and family like? who do they usually surround themselves with?

Hana doesn’t have family outside of Kannika. The Angels scorn her and push her away, fallen angels give her little regard for trying to claw her way back into Heaven so desperately. Kannika is the only person in her life that loves her for who she is. 

who would you consider the closest person to your muse?

Kannika. They’re literally soulmates. 

where was your character born and what was their living situation growing up there?

She wasn’t borne of the Divine Light of the Creator. She didn’t have a very good time in Heaven. She was just a little off for an angel. She has just a little bit too much free will, was just a little too broken. She was scorned, ridiculed, and looked down on. The other Angels called her the Angel of Death, often told God to cast her from Grace. Sometimes she wonders why she’s trying to return to that place. Is having something to prove enough reason? 

what is your muse’s biggest fear and does anyone know? if so, who, and if not, why not?

It’s silly because she knows its inevitable, but she’s afraid of being completely fallen. She fears the inevitable day her wings turn black forever. Oh, and failing to keep Kannika safe. That one goes without saying, though.

Nope! Doesn’t even have the concept of that. The only love she knows is platonic. 

what would you find in your muse’s refrigerator right now?

Sweets! And Fruits! And that’s about it! She buys exclusively the things she likes to eat. Doesn’t really result in a balanced diet, but she technically only eats for fun anyways.

Marcus Aiden Armitage. Call him Aiden, or Sir. Enemies call him Arsène.

6’4, strong build. Medium golden complexion with short, neatly styled dark hair and deep crimson eyes he keeps covered with colored contacts in the public eye. He has two tattoos: his Veritas binary on the inside of his left wrist, and a magic-infused protection sigil he shares with Alucard on the back of his right hand. 

do they have any distinguishing features such as scars, unique birthmarks, etc.?

A few faded scars from a few centuries ago, but nothing remarkable

what is your muse’s friends and family like? who do they usually surround themselves with?

Elizabath and Amelie are his only living family members, and even then, Amalie doesn’t even remember who Aiden is to her. His friends are limited to Joon and his cousin, Marc, but even then, those two are as good as blood to the man. He considers them family, considers Joon a brother. He tends to surround himself with people who are just as twisted as he is.

who would you consider the closest person to your muse?

Luca. Elizabeth is a close second.

where was your character born and what was their living situation growing up there?

He was born in Jeju, but only lived there for about 10 years or so. He lived in a cabin in the forests with his parents until the humans burnt his home to the ground. After that point, he grew up in England with the man who would teach him how to take his rage and turn it into a beautiful, twisted art. 

what is your muse’s biggest fear and does anyone know? if so, who, and if not, why not?

I honestly don’t even think he knows. He fears loss, that much is certain. The loss of Amelie, the loss of Elizabeth, Luca, and Marc- even the loss of certain members might break him just a little bit. 

has your muse ever fallen in love before? if so, with who? did it end well?

He hates to admit it, but he falls in love far more often that he lets on. The only person he admits to loving, however, is his wife Amelie. But there’s been a Duke and Duchess, a pair of Noblewomen sisters, and his dearest Jane Austen, though she may have been more of a platonic soulmate more than anything. All of his lovers have since passed, presumably, and his wife? Is hidden away for her own safety. Amelie won’t be the last person he’ll fall in love with, no matter how hard he fights with himself over that. 

what would you find in your muse’s refrigerator right now?

Not much. He keeps it stocked with some basics, mostly for show. He gets his meals a few floors down.

what is your muse’s strongest memory that they carry around?

Amalie. Her small, delicate frame limp in his arms, blood splattered on the white sheets of their bedroom illuminated by moonlight. She bled profusely from her temple and a small trickle of blood ran from a shallow gash on her neck. She’d been attacked while she slept next to Aiden and he’d been too slow to protect her. Her assailant, a hunter, was dead, body at the foot of their bed while his head was in the doorway, and Aiden was frantically calling Alucard. That was the night he knew that the city wasn’t safe for her. If she survived, she had to leave until Veritas was able to accomplish their goal of exterminating humans. He was simply too big of a target to let her get caught up in this. She was small, meek, timid, fragile- and if Aiden couldn’t be around to protect her, he was going to lose her.

Vincent di Soriano. Those he’s close to call him Vince. Most of the members of Invictus call him “Don Vincent” or “Don Karma”. Enemies exclusively know him as “Don Karma” (well, they know him as Karma, but they add ‘Don’ if they know what’s good for them).

what do they look like? include hair, eyes, skin tone, tattoos, etc. !

He’s not incredibly tall, nor is he particularly short. He’s about average, standing at 5′10 (though he may seem smaller on a bad leg day). He’s pale in complexion and lithe with lightly toned muscle in build. His eyes are a brilliant amber, and his hair... well, it’s always kept at a shaggy, but short length. The color varies on a whim, but he generally gravitates to blonde, silver, or blue. 

He’s got a number of tattoos. The constellation of Lupos lives between his shoulder blades, he has his mother’s initials inked on the skin above his heart, and watercolor peonies on his ribcage with hisoka’s birthday under them are the three major ones that stand out to him. The others are just little pieces for decoration or because he got bored.

Does a 188 year old werewolf mafia boss have scars? He’s got plenty. Scars from fights, scars from stab wounds and bullet holes. Werewolf healing makes them more faded than they would be on a human, but a human probably wouldn’t have lived through the story of half of those. 

what is your muse’s friends and family like? who do they usually surround themselves with?

La Familia. As cliche as it sounds, Lupos Invictus is his family. As far as he’s concerned, the members are blood to him. They’re his pack. His only family family is his daughter, but y’all already know her. He surrounds himself with his pack. With the people he loves and trusts and he’s willing to die for.

who would you consider the closest person to your muse?

His big three: Vic, Leona, Sungmin.

where was your character born and what was their living situation growing up there?

I really have a thing for muses not at all growing up where they were born. He was born in Daegu, but he was raised in the small Italian village of Castelluccio in central Italy. His family would move to Venice eventually, and his young adult life would be spent there until his parents passed.

His life was... honestly, pretty normal? He was loved beyond belief, he was well on his way to becoming a master blacksmith- it was pretty standard living if you exclude the fact his dad was an international arms dealer with the Italian mafia and he watched his parents grow old while he never aged. 

what is your muse’s biggest fear and does anyone know? if so, who, and if not, why not?

He doesn’t fear death. He knows he’s living on borrowed time. 

Is he afraid that he’ll fail to keep people safe? That the hunters will keep coming and coming and coming and he’ll never be able to protect his people? That this crime family maybe wasn’t the best way to keep them safe? Maybe. Does he fear that his child is mixed up in this and that every time he sends her on a mission she might not come home? Yes. 

Vince is a man with many anxieties, ok. He smokes to forget about them.

has your muse ever fallen in love before? if so, with who? did it end well?

He’s 188 years old, of course he’s fallen in love. I’m not saying he was in love with Raiden, but I’m not saying he wasn’t. But he’s never really had anything that lasted, nothing that was more important than his parents or his pack.

Whatever Leona wants. Vince isn’t really picky when it comes to food, and Leona’s always been the better cook. As long as there’s meat, potatoes, and pasta in the pantry Vince is happy.

what is your muse’s strongest memory that they carry around?

He’s standing on the balcony of their small home in Venice with his mother, overlooking the expansive sea. The sun was setting and the rays bounced off the water’s surface, making it sparkle like the most delicate crystals being moved with the tide. The crisp, cool, salty breeze off the ocean made his mother’s golden brown hair flutter in the wind, carrying the birdsong of her laughter away with it.

They were waiting for his father to return home from his latest bout of travels, keeping a weather eye on the horizon for his ship,but just enjoying a small cup of coffee in the mean time. 

“Cucciolo, your father and I aren’t getting any younger, you know. I know we were blessed that we have you, but grandchildren would be nice. I’ve always wanted a granddaughter, after all.” she teased with a smile on her lips.

“Ma~” he whined, a faint blush dusting his cheeks as he grinned, “I’m working in the forge to help afford this place. I don’t have time to find a wife right now. I’ll give you a granddaughter one day, but right now I need to focus on the forge.”

His mothers gaze turned towards the sea, “Ah, my dear. I hope your daughter takes after me. Some freckles, olive skin. Name her after me, will you?” she kept teasing, knowing fully well it was impossible for any child of his to look even remotely Italian. 

“Yes, mama. I’ll have a little Rosalia Leona of my own running around one day, I promise you.” In the distance, his father’s ship peeks over the horizon line, “Maybe even a Luciano too...”

·       What is your muse’s full name and do they have any nicknames? Full name: Alexandre Jisoo Guerrero Moon Nicknames: Alec, AJ

·       What do they look like? Alec is about 6’0 tall with tan skin and steel grey eyes. He has shaggy hair dyed a dark silver. While he is rather lithe and lean, he’s not scrawny by any means. He has a lot of lean muscle and the subtle traces of his muscles can still be seen under his clothes, even when he doesn’t dress to show them off. He has a tattoo on his inner right wrist that is indicative of his father’s pack, a birthright mark given to all of age wolves when they’ve earned their place and role within the hierarchy. Alec was given his mark when he turned 15. (ex. – 1, 2)

·       Do they have any distinguishing features such as scars, unique birthmarks, etc.? Beyond the mark on his wrist, Alec has a vertical scar on the left side of his abdomen from a years old stab wound.

·       What are your muse’s friends and family like? Who do they usually surround themselves with? Alec’s entire biological family was killed, but when his parents and brother were still alive, they were a very close-knit family unit. His father, despite being the one to get his sons involved with the cartel, did his best to protect them and train them to handle anything. He was very close to his younger brother and was very protective of him, which is a trait he continues to display with his friends. His mother was a loving, free-spirited woman who inspired a passion for food and cooking. Alec tends to surround himself with people he gets along with well and those he can provide for. Without a family of his own, he’s built up his chosen family with members of Venor he works with and has connected with another descendant of his father’s pack.

·       Who would you consider the closest person to your muse? Probably Suwei. With Suwei, he has a connection to his father’s pack and is extremely protective over her. He spends an absurd amount of time worrying over her well-being and does everything he can to provide a familial bond for her.

·       Where was your character born and what was their living situation growing up there? Alec was born in Acapulco, Mexico. His early childhood was pleasant and he spent majority of his time in the kitchen with his mother or running amuck in his father’s auto repair garage with his brother playing hide and seek, or pretending to fixing the cars. He was blissfully ignorant of his father’s involvement with the cartel until he was about 15. That’s when he realized what was really going on and when his father pulled him into fold. They lived modestly with the money his father made from his shop (and from embezzling money from the cartel), but never splurged. It was a comfortable life until his father’s greed got the best of him and resulted in the death of both parents.

·       What is your muse’s biggest fear and does anyone know? If so, who, and if not, why not? One of Alec’s biggest fears is his past catching up with him. His father and brother’s mistakes led to their deaths and while Alec wasn’t directly involved in the embezzlement, he took what was left of it all and ran with it. He made a few mistakes along the way and he’s aware that while he covered his tracks to the best of his ability, both the cartel and the yakuza aren’t his biggest fans. He hasn’t told anyone this, primarily because he wants to bury the past and keep his slate clean in Seoul.

·       Has your muse ever fallen in love before? If so, with who? Did it end well? Alec has never been in love. He’s only had a handful of hookups over the years, but hasn’t found anyone he’s connected with enough to say he’s in love.

·       What would you find in your muse’s refrigerator right now? He loves to cook, mostly Mexican food, though there’s probably a small jar of Kimchi in there somewhere. There’s plenty of homemade leftovers and fresh ingredients for spontaneous meals. He’s stocked up on bottles of Corona with a couple limes in the bottom drawer, with a stray orange or two. There’s a carton of eggs, maybe a half carton of milk and a 12-pack of Pepsi. He also has a ridiculous number of takeout boxes, most of them half eaten and filled with Chinese leftovers.

·       What does your muse usually wear? Alec generally lives his life in jeans and loose cotton shirts, both crew and V-neck. Working in the auto shop, he doesn’t have any use for fancy, expensive clothes given how dirty he tends to get and how worn out the fabric ends up. He doesn’t bother splurging when he knows he’s going to ruin most of his wardrobe. He tends to stick with darker colors like navy, charcoal grey and black because it hides the dirt and grease better and if it doesn’t wash out, it’s still not all that visible so he can get away with it. He sticks with sneakers, generally Adidas or Nike and leans more towards comfort over style. When he’s not working in the garage or working on his skills in the Venor training room, he’ll get a little more dressed up, but only if he’s specifically going out or spending time with someone. At home, he tends to just wear sweatpants or basketball shorts and if he gets cold, he’ll throw on a zip up sweater.

·       What is your muse’s strongest memory that they carry around? Alec remembers vividly the sight of his parents’ bodies in the living room of his childhood home. It was an awful scene to witness and as much as he tries not to remember, it’s still his strongest memory to this day.

001. what is your muse’s full name and do they have any nicknames?

well, whose name do you want? in 1938, this body belonged to a dryad who was born with the name jung kyuhyun. in 1949, the dryad lost all memory and was assimilated into his adoptive family under the name quinn alvarez, and he didn’t discover his birth name kyuhyun until years later as he dug through his parents’ files. the demon who currently inhabits the body is simply named q, a name picked out by quinn himself to give to the mysterious voice in his head. q can’t remember what name he went by before turning up in quinn’s body, but he’s sure he must have gone by something. legally, at current, his name is registered as quinn jung, as he dropped his adoptive parents’ last name before he moved back to korea, but he didn’t feel attachment to the name kyuhyun like he did quinn. such a long story only to come to the conclusion that q is in control, and he likes to be called q. nothing more, nothing less.

002. what do they look like? include hair, eyes, skin tone, tattoos, etc. !

q is one of the least intimidating people you will ever meet, standing at 5′6″ with a lack of muscle mass and some of the cutest fairy-like features you’ll ever see. though he was born with a common fae coloring– pastel pink hair and deep blue eyes– he opts to constantly dye his hair a different color to distance himself from his fae identity, and currently, he has it dyed black. the blue eyes can stay though, he likes those. other than his binary veritas tattoo, he has a snake wrapped around his other wrist and a knife and rose on his upper arm.

003. do they have any distinguishing features such as scars, unique birthmarks, etc.?

( tw: self harm??? ) q has multiple burn scars from where he has pressed iron against his skin on multiple different occasions in order to cause quinn pain. he’s done it for various reasons, the most serious of which being that quinn forcibly took over to stop him from killing a target, and the most petty of which being that he just wouldn’t shut up when q had a headache. sure, the burns hurt q as well, but the satisfaction of quinn apologizing for whatever he’d done and going silent for a few hours (maybe a few days) is worth it.

004. what is your muse’s friends and family like? who do they usually surround themselves with?

to be entirely honest? q doesn’t really consider himself to have friends nor family. he usually surrounds himself with the members of his gang, but even then he doesn’t truly consider any of them friends.

005. who would you consider the closest person to your muse?

undoubtedly, quinn. as at odds as the two are, quinn is the one person q will go to any means to protect. is that because they share a body and anything that kills quinn would kill him as well? maybe. but there’s also just something about spending your entire life with someone, unable to separate yourself from them, that cultivates a sort of sibling-like bond.

006. where was your character born and what was their living situation growing up there?

quinn was born in seoul, though neither quinn nor q remember ever living in korea before they moved there after high school graduation. for however long they can remember, they grew up in upstate new york in a fairly large family of adopted supernatural children, all with different unique characteristics which set them apart from others of their respective species. their adoptive parents had always been cold and methodical, never quite giving them the kind of attention that one would associate with a kind and loving household. 

007. what is your muse’s biggest fear and does anyone know? if so, who, and if not, why not?

q likes to think that he has no fears. no true fears, at least. he avoids death at all costs, but wouldn’t be afraid should his time be upon him. he does not fear failure, only lets it fuel him to do better next time. the only thing he’d say he’s truly afraid of is feeling powerless. does that automatically make it his biggest fear? maybe.

008. has your muse ever fallen in love before? if so, with who? did it end well?

... no. q thinks love is fake and irrational.

009. what would you find in your muse’s refrigerator right now?

fruits, vegetables, and lots of noodles. q is a vegetarian, and dishes with noodles or bread are his absolute favorite. he’s not home very often, and when he’s out he usually stops by restaurants or orders takeout to his office, so his kitchen is truly sort of bare. but the snack foods that he does stock up on are there for when he needs to stress eat his way through leader things or when quinn finally gets time to breathe and curl up with a bag of popcorn and his favorite novel.

011. what is your muse’s strongest memory that they carry around?

the most vivid memory q has is of him trying to destroy quinn’s tree. this particular memory is so strong because it’s the exact moment that he realized there was no separating himself from quinn. everything that quinn felt as limbs were hacked off of his precious tree, q felt as well. that was the moment that the permanence of his predicament truly set in.

scars. those were the most abundant marring on jaehyun’s pale skin. he has a scar around both of his upper arms that took the shape of the silver chain that embedded on his skin when the humans tied him up. right below his rib cage, was the scar from the silver knife that the humans stabbed him with that night. it was a curse, jaehyun thought, to look at the mirror every time and see the reminders of his weakness.

what is your muse’s full name and do they have any nicknames?

Born Izumi Hisoka. Legally changed her name to Rosalia Leona Hisoka di Soriano. Rivals and enemies know her as Mirage.

Her most common nickname is ‘Soka’, but she’s got plenty. Meme Queen, Dumbass— and on a real note, Rose, Rosie, Rosa, and Lia are all common things she hears from members who are particularly close to, but everyone knows better than to call her Leona. That name was reserved for Vincent. It still stings when Haseong uses it sometimes.

what do they look like? include hair, eyes, skin tone, tattoos, etc. !

Hisoka is pale in complexion with baby blue eyes that take on a striking, almost iridescent hue when she taps into her powers. Her hair is naturally black, and while sometimes she’ll rock her natural coloring, she’s generally seen with pale blonde hair. She bears the tattoo of Lupos Invictus beneath her right breast on the side of her rib cage, and a tattoo of the letter ‘A’ with a heart in memory of her late father whose alias was ‘Ace’.

Sometime Hisoka thinks she can see faint scars from calls that got a little too close, but her physiology as a djinn rarely ever lets her skin mar. Sometimes she wishes she could scar, if only to have proof of the life she lives. Validation for the bullets she’s taken, every fight she’s been in- every time she’s shielded a loved one on the line- but she doesn’t, and she probably never will. 

what is your muse’s friends and family like? who do they usually surround themselves with?

Hisoka lives in a rather odd state of family limbo. Her biological family is dead- never knew her parents, her uncle died when she was young. She was raised in the loving arms of Lupos, nestled in the den of their leader. Vincent was her dad in every way but blood, but he’s passed as well. Legally, her only living family is Haseong.

The members of Invictus, however, are her family. She grew up with them, was raised by them- they’re her aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters, and cousins. Outside of Invictus, though, she really doesn’t have friends. Her friends are her family. 

who would you consider the closest person to your muse?

It’s a genuine tie between Haseong and Chanwoo. They’re the most important people she has in her life, and she relies on them in different ways. 

where was your character born and what was their living situation growing up there?

Hisoka was born in Tsushima, Japan. She was never there long enough to truly have a living situation, though. Her uncle fled Japan with her when she was barely a day old. She’s basically spent her entire life in Seoul, nestled safely with Invictus. She lived with her uncle until he passed away when she was 4 or so, and from that point she was raised by the leader of Invictus.

He wasn’t a wealthy man by any means- he really didn’t have much to his name, but he made room for Hisoka anyways. He did everything he could to provide for her. He slept on the couch so that she could sleep in a bed. Skipped out on lunch and breakfast so that she could eat dinner when she came home from the best school he could manage to put her in. Hisoka grew up knowing what it meant to be loved earnestly, truly, and unconditionally. 

what is your muse’s biggest fear and does anyone know? if so, who, and if not, why not?

Forgetting. She’s terrified that one day she’ls going to forget the little things about Vincent. The little crinkles at the corner of his eyes when he smiled the brightest gummy smile, the sound of his voice, the way he smelled, the way his favorite reading chair would stay formed to his shape for how often he sat in it. She’s afraid she’ll forget who he was- she so, so often finds herself thinking What would Dad do? and sometimes- more often than she’d like, the answer is I don’t know... 

She thinks Chanwoo and Haseong know. She’s never said it out loud, but to the two that know her better than she knows herself, it should be glaring obvious.

has your muse ever fallen in love before? if so, with who? did it end well?

Who hasn’t she fallen in love with? She swears she’s in love every few months. She’s been in love with half of Invictus, practically, and fallen out of love just as fast. The only love she’s ever had stick for longer than three months is Sungmin, Of course, he thinks of her as a niece at best, but that doesn’t mean she didn’t have it bad for him.

what would you find in your muse’s refrigerator right now?

Hisoka loves to cook! Her fridge is always well stocked with fresh fruits and veggies. She tries her best to get fresh meat when she wants to cook it rather than freeze it. There’s nothing wrong with freezing meat for later, but she thinks it taste so much better fresh- and then there’s more room for ice cream in the freezer. She’s always got milk and soy milk in her fridge because she’s a high maintenance kind of girl- the normal milk is for chocolate milk and cereal, and the soy milk is for her coffee. Though it’s not in her fridge, there’s a keurig on top of her counter that she lives off of.

what is your muse’s strongest memory that they carry around?

Trauma aside? When her YouTube channel surpassed 10,000 subscribers, it felt like the most surreal moment of her life. It happened years and years ago, and she had just over 300,000 subscribers before she had to step away to lead Invictus. Just the moment of realizing she had more subscribers than could fit in her university stadium was mind blowing. She felt so honored and so fucking proud, and just so incredibly thankful to everyone who actually watches her content- it truly made her feel like one day she could be more than just an assassin- she could be more than just a gang member. She could take her passion and make it something wonderful— life seems to have had other plans.

his birth name is 𝐊𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐉𝐔𝐍𝐒𝐄𝐎, but he preferred to go by 𝐋𝐔𝐂𝐀𝐒 𝐊𝐀𝐍𝐆 while living in australia. he almost exclusively goes by junseo these days ( or 𝐆𝐈𝐍 among veritas and other gang members, of which the meaning his dorky self does not want to explain to anyone ), though he still responds to lucas and people who have known him for quite some time might prefer to call him that. his former pack affectionately referred to him as 𝐏𝐔𝐏 because he was the youngest—except for his brother, who called him 𝐉𝐔𝐍𝐍𝐈𝐄 instead. both nicknames are off limits to anyone outside of those he considers family. if you really must call him by a nickname, he doesn’t mind being called 𝐉𝐔𝐍, but he responds to 𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐄 and most other not so nice names as well, as he isn’t too fazed by being insulted. do not call him 𝐌𝐔𝐓𝐓, however, unless you want to get punched in the face.

junseo has 𝐃𝐄𝐄𝐏 𝐁𝐑𝐎𝐖𝐍 eyes and naturally 𝐃𝐀𝐑𝐊 𝐁𝐑𝐎𝐖𝐍 hair, though his current colour is a tad bit lighter. he doesn’t dye his hair super often, and when he does, he tends to stick to more natural colours. he has 𝐓𝐖𝐎 𝐋𝐎𝐁𝐄 piercings ( one in each ear ), along with a 𝐋𝐀𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐓 piercing, the latter being a very recent addition. he has a 𝐋𝐀𝐑𝐆𝐄 𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐎𝐎 of a tiger that covers half of his back ( vertically ) and a part of his right arm and is thinking about getting more done as he uses them to cover up his scars, as far as that’s possible. 

𝐈𝐈𝐈. 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐔𝐈𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐒.

his body is littered with so many 𝐒𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐒, that he has lost count over the years. the most noticeable ones are those on his hands and above his eyebrow, all of which he acquired from fighting. surprisingly, his face is fairly unscathed, aside from the aforementioned scar. his largest scar is located on his back, accompanied by a couple of others, which he gained when someone cowardly attacked him while his back was turned to them. it’s not super uncommon to find him with 𝐒𝐂𝐑𝐀𝐏𝐄𝐒 and 𝐁𝐑𝐔𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐒 and the occasional 𝐒𝐏𝐋𝐈𝐓 𝐋𝐈𝐏, and he doesn’t remember a time he wasn’t sporting some sort of injury. 

𝐈𝐕. 𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐒 & 𝐅𝐀𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐘.

having left his pack means that he currently has 𝐍𝐎 𝐅𝐀𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐘 in seoul, and because they tend to travel around a lot, he isn’t aware of their current whereabouts. friends are 𝐒𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐄 as well, at least, if you ask junseo. while he doesn’t like to admit it, he has come to care about veritas and considers them his substitute pack—meaning they’re not as good as the real deal, but they will do for now. that said, he would absolutely put his life on the line for them, especially the fox spirits, as they’re closest in kin and he feels protective of them. other than that, he likes to surround himself with people who are 𝐍𝐀𝐈𝐕𝐄 and 𝐆𝐔𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐁𝐋𝐄 because they’re easy to manipulate, and he generally doesn’t keep them around for longer than he needs them.

𝐕. 𝐂𝐋𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐑𝐄𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏.

the most important person in his life is and always will be his 𝐎𝐋𝐃𝐄𝐑 𝐁𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑. they were attached to the hip before he left the pack and he carries around an old picture of the two of them when they were younger. he misses him a lot and hopes to be reunited with him someday—and the rest of the pack too, if possible.

junseo was born in 𝐆𝐘𝐄𝐎𝐍𝐆𝐉𝐔, but considers 𝐀𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐀 his true home, despite having spent an equal amount of time there and in south korea. the pack moved around a lot and rarely spent more than ten years in the same place, which wasn’t something he was very fond of at a younger age because it made maintaining friendships incredibly difficult. now that he’s older, he misses the freedom of not being tied to one place and would leave seoul if there wasn’t any reason for him to stay. the pack itself was 𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐌 and 𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐃, and they always managed to make him feel at home, no matter where they ended up, which made moving around a little bit easier for him.

𝐕𝐈𝐈. 𝐁𝐈𝐆𝐆𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐑.

aside from being extremely ██████████████, junseo fears 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇—more specifically, he fears not being remembered by anyone after he passes because no one considers him important enough to be remembered. this isn’t something he openly shares with just anyone, and his brother is currently the only person who knows about it.

𝐕𝐈𝐈𝐈. 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐄.

junseo has been in love 𝐎𝐍𝐂𝐄. the relationship—if you can even call it that—didn’t end well, and he takes all of the blame for it because they were nothing but patient and understanding with him—until one day they got fed up with his antics and decided to skip town without telling him. looking back on it now, he realizes his behaviour was what pushed them away and he deeply regrets it, but instead of improving himself, he’s only gotten worse as time went on because he believes he’ll never fall in love again. however, deep down he craves affection and attention, and he frequently hooks up with strangers just to satisfy that need. it never lasts for long because one-night stands are meaningless and he desperately wants a deeper connection with someone, but that is something he isn’t ready to admit to yet.

𝐈𝐗. 𝐑𝐄𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐎𝐑.

his refrigerator is 𝐄𝐌𝐏𝐓𝐘 at all times because despite that he’s a decent cook, he doesn’t like to cook for himself.

he wears 𝐁𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐊 most of the time, claiming it perfectly fits his aesthetic and that when he spills oil on his outfit while at work, it’s less visible than it would be on lighter clothes. he can often be seen wearing a 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐉𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐄𝐓 and 𝐑𝐈𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐃 𝐉𝐄𝐀𝐍𝐒, and it isn’t uncommon to find him wearing his 𝐆𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐒 either. if you look closely, you’ll find they’re no ordinary gloves, but weighted-knuckle gloves—his preferred choice of weapon. when he’s not wearing them, they’re in his pockets or bag, but never too far from his reach, just in case he needs them.

Victor Yi: An Analysis

what is your muse’s full name and do they have any nicknames?

His name is Victor Joon Yi. The people he love call him Vic. The ones he doesn’t call him Joon. He hasn’t heard that name since he left The Aegis.

what do they look like? include hair, eyes, skin tone, tattoos, etc. !

Victor is a man and a half, standing at 6′3 with broad shoulders and a lean, but slightly muscular physique. His hair is a dark black (that Vic won’t admit he dyes bc his real hair color is a dark warm brown and he just thinks a cool back suits his coloration better), generally kept long and curly. His eyes are a dark-chocolate brown, his skin tone has been classified as ‘light-medium neutral’ by Hisoka when he did some modeling for her videos, and he’s got a small menagerie of tattoos on his body. He bears the shield of The Aegis over his heart, the constellation of lupos between his shoulder blades, a father/daughter celtic knot on his inner left forearm, and his wife’s initials on his left ring finger. 

do they have any distinguishing features such as scars, unique birthmarks, etc.?

He’s got a teeny little beauty mark under his left eye, little scars from silly things here and there, but nothing serious or major. 

what is your muse’s friends and family like? who do they usually surround themselves with?

His family... is estranged, to say the least. He hasn’t spoken to his father in years, he really hasn’t heard much from his older brother either- really, the only family he’s got is his daughter Yeona. That being said, Invictus is his newfound family. He loves each and every one of the members with his whole heart, and truly wants the best for them. 

He surrounds himself with warmth, love, happiness, and acceptance, and he finds each and every single thing within the members. 

who would you consider the closest person to your muse?

If we’re talking over the age of 10? Sungmin. Ever since Vince passed away, the mage has come to consider the skinwalker his best friend and closest confidant. Sungmin is the one person he can freely allow the give-and-take of unconditional support. Sungmin is his pillar, and Victor is his. 

But let’s not get it twisted, Yeona will always be Vic’s closest person.

where was your character born and what was their living situation growing up there?

Vic was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois (well, in the suburbs, but no one cares about any Chicago suburbs aside from Gurnee and Schaumburg so he says he’s from Chicago.)

He grew up, like I mentioned, in a suburb about an hour out from the city in a fairly wealthy neighborhood. He was put in an excellent school, was raised in a safe neighborhood, and went on to enroll in one of the best medical universities the state has to offer. He grew up with the stereotypical expectations of an Asian-American kid, do well in school, become a doctor- but along with that, he was expected to excel in his magical training as well. Even so, he was content with his childhood. He supposed that he really lucked out. He loved school, he loved learning, and he loved magic. It never really felt like an obligation to him more than it felt that he was being encouraged to pursue what he loved. 

what is your muse’s biggest fear and does anyone know? if so, who, and if not, why not?

What’s any parent’s worst fear? Losing their child. 

has your muse ever fallen in love before? if so, with who? did it end well?

Once, when he was about a decade younger. He fell in love with the prettiest witch he’d ever laid eyes on. Whether or not it ended well is up to debate, because what love ever ends well? So. Many. Fruit cups. Yeona fucking love fruit cups. Fruit in jello, fruit cocktails, mandarin oranges, peach slices- you name it, Yeona wants it. Victor is a doctor, so he keeps healthy food stocked in the fridge. There’s also organic apple juice and organic orange juice- there will never be grape juice in their home because grape juice is made of lies, according to Yeona, and Vic’s gotta agree. It’s just not good. Vic tends to make a lot of “American” foods, and his fridge and pantry reflect that. 

Aside from that, he’s got a lot of baking supplies in his pantries. Anyone who knows the Yi Duo know that they bake together all the time.

The day his daughter was born. That’s a no-brainer. Yeona would always be the greatest gift he could ever ask for, and he would never forget that day. He would also never forget the day his pregnant wife passed, but Yeona’s birth would always be a positive memory for him.

001. what is your muse’s full name and do they have any nicknames?

wu feihung. that’s the name her father gave her and therefore a name that will follow her no matter how much she tries to rid herself of it. she does not consider herself a wu, not anymore, but what is a family name to a girl with no family? she merely goes by fei, doesn’t think it necessary to tell anyone her full name except to keep in venor’s records for organization purposes. in her personal life she’s fei, when she’s working she’s cypress. that’s all there is to it. 

002. what do they look like? include hair, eyes, skin tone, tattoos, etc. !

fei is a 5′1″ bubbly little thing who looks quite innocent and unassuming upon first glance. she’s quite on the small side for a grown woman of her age, but her hair more than makes up for it, the dark curls framing her small face and falling wildly over her shoulders. her eyes are dark, but should you be one of the few unfortunate souls she chooses to feed from, you might find that they have quite the unnatural gold color. her body remains clear of any tattoos, though if one were to look closely, you might find remains of her father’s crime family tattoo where it once adorned her skin.

003. do they have any distinguishing features such as scars, unique birthmarks, etc.?

fei has a faint scar on the back of her left shoulder in the shape of an origami crane, from where she went through the process of removing her father’s family tattoo. 

004. what is your muse’s friends and family like? who do they usually surround themselves with?

fei has cut all ties with her father and the rest of her family. she no longer uses their name, doesn’t associate herself with them in the slightest bit. they’re no longer important.

meanwhile, fei’s friends are her new found family, a mix of people from all walks of life whose only unifying factor is that they’ve developed a soft spot for a bubbly pink-clad succubus. fei doesn’t like to be alone, so she usually bounces between these friends of hers when she’s not working, always finding someone to bother at any given point in time.

005. who would you consider the closest person to your muse?

fei is, by far, closest to her best friend and roommate, mira. these two have climbed ranks in venor together and have been each other’s rock through the whole process. they’ve even adopted a kitten together, who they so gracefully named bagel. for all intents and purposes, mira is fei’s sister.

006. where was your character born and what was their living situation growing up there?

fei was born in seoul, though her father was from hong kong and she is technically a chinese citizen– her father moved to seoul to run his operations, he met her mother in seoul, and so seoul is where fei took her first breath. she grew up wealthy, living in quite the mansion of a house, going to a snooty private school. still, she was sheltered, kept isolated from the real world to learn the things that he father wanted to teach her without outside influence. 

007. what is your muse’s biggest fear and does anyone know? if so, who, and if not, why not?

fei’s biggest fear, in the grand scheme of things, is dying alone. not in the sense of being single, but being truly alone, with no one who honestly cares for her. it’s not something that she actively hides from people, but no one knows simply for the fact that it’s never been brought up– it’s not exactly information that she readily offers to everyone she meets.

008. has your muse ever fallen in love before? if so, with who? did it end well?

fei has fallen a little bit in love in so many different people at so many different points in her life– she’s a hopeless romantic to a fault. however, many people would say that these feelings that she caught were not truly falling in love, just a brief case of infatuation. 

009. what would you find in your muse’s refrigerator right now?

takeout leftovers. lots of takeout leftovers. fei never really learned how to cook, so her kitchen is the most underused room in her apartment, the shelves of her refrigerator filled with only the essentials, some snacks, and lots of leftovers from meals that she didn’t have to cook herself.

010. what does your muse usually wear? you can describe, link pictures, etc. !

fei likes pastel colors ( mostly pink ), lace, ruffles... anything frilly and cute. she likes to dress up even in the most casual of situations, usually finding herself wearing cute skirts and dresses even just to take a trip to the grocery store. she prefers strappy sandals, cute boots, and kitten heels to sneakers in any given situation, and is not afraid to sacrifice practicality for aesthetic.

011. what is your muse’s strongest memory that they carry around?

although traumatic memories plague her mind constantly, the memory which has the most impact on her as a person is her first shooting lesson. perhaps if she’d never picked up a gun, never felt the thrill of hitting a target dead on, she would have quit her life of crime after she left her family. whenever she reminisces on her childhood, she pictures a little girl picking up a handgun for the first time in her life as her father guides her tiny little hands and teaches her how to aim.

001. what is your muse’s full name and do they have any nicknames?

while her full name is kannika baramuk, those close to her will often shorten her name to nika. meanwhile, her codename as a spy is skylar, as this was the informal nickname that she went by in her childhood. while her mother called her by her given name, her friends and fellow coven members usually called her skylar, and as such, she feels as if she’s making them proud by using the name as an alias for the first honest work she’s done in her life.

002. what do they look like? include hair, eyes, skin tone, tattoos, etc. !

kannika is of average height, though the ridiculously tall platform heeled boots that she tends to wear cause her to tower over others of the same stature. naturally, she has dark eyes and dark hair, but she has begun to bleach her hair as of late to stick out in a crowd— sticking out isn’t quite ideal for espionage, however, so she tends to wear various wigs when she’s out on a job. kannika’s body is quite literally covered in tattoos, as she started to ceremoniously mark her body at a very young age. these tattoos range from runes that help boost her abilities to pentagrams and other markings which help her to call upon demonic energy. truthfully, it’s hard to even spot her amaranthine tattoo, as it tends to blend in with all of the other inked bullshit covering her skin.

003. do they have any distinguishing features such as scars, unique birthmarks, etc.?

blending in with her many tattoos, some of kannika’s ceremonial markings were made by process of scarification rather than ink. these marks were made by her coven elders at a young age, and mostly channel protection spells to keep her safe from demonic possession and other supernatural threats that dark witches and warlocks are often susceptible to. she also has scars around the base of two of her fingers, where they were once cut off and haphazardly mended back together by her own healing magic when she was still learning and wasn’t adept enough to heal scar-free. she could probably heal the scars now if she tried hard enough, yes, but she prefers to focus her energy elsewhere. 

004. what is your muse’s friends and family like? who do they usually surround themselves with?

kannika’s coven used to be what she would refer to as her family, but after the fall of her mother’s leadership, she felt as if she no longer deserved to live amongst their ranks and fled to seoul. now, she would consider amaranthine to be her family. even if she wouldn’t dare say it out loud simply because she has an angsty reputation to uphold.

005. who would you consider the closest person to your muse?

kannika’s closest person is her guardian angel, hana. when the angel first showed up in her life and claimed to be assigned to keep her safe, she thought she was insane, truthfully. what god would want to keep her safe, after all? but after spending some time to get to know her (if only because hana was hellbent on not giving her a second alone), she’s come to really appreciate her company and her dedication to her job. now, she wouldn’t hesitate to say that hana is her best friend and anyone who tries to hurt her will receive a dagger to the chest. who’s really guarding who here, hm?

006. where was your character born and what was their living situation growing up there?

kannika was born to the leader of a coven of dark witches and warlocks in bangkok, thailand. her upbringing, financially speaking, was extremely comfortable. in nearly every other way imaginable, however, she had a tortured childhood. training to be a coven heiress was never an easy feat, but her mother took training to an extreme, shaping kannika into the powerful witch she is today through the most horrible of means. she was rich in companionship, in the sense that her fellow coven members were like her family, but lonely when it really counted.

007. what is your muse’s biggest fear and does anyone know? if so, who, and if not, why not?

kannika doesn’t fear much at all. she’s so comfortable with death, doesn’t even flinch at the idea of it. takes shame from her past failures, but has never been afraid to fuck up anything else in the future. all creatures, even the most horror-esque, are simply creatures in her eyes. any fears had been desensitized to her as a child. perhaps it’s because she has no deeply rooted fear that she’s become so reckless.

008. has your muse ever fallen in love before? if so, with who? did it end well?

no. kannika has never allowed herself the time or energy to have feelings for someone, not like that. perhaps it could happen in the future, but if you were to ask her, she’d be doubtful.

009. what would you find in your muse’s refrigerator right now?

mostly thai food and ingredients for thai meals. her aunt samorn used to cook the most gloriously nostalgia-inducing meals for her, and after the woman’s death, kannika has been going through her recipe books and learning to recreate many of the meals she’d prepared for her in the past. it gives her a sense of comfort.

kannika typically chooses to dress herself in all black. her pieces range from inherently witchy aesthetics to punk to gothic, and she combines them together to create something she deems her dark witch aesthetic. 

011. what is your muse’s strongest memory that they carry around?

her strongest memory, by far, is something that she’s plagued by every night when she closes her eyes. her mother dying by means of her own hands isn’t something that she can easily forget, after all.

He usually surrounds himself with positive people. When he was younger, he typically didn’t talk much to his family. His family was a bit distant from him, though he was closer with his older brothers than his younger brother and sister. 

who would you consider the closest person to your muse?

Somin is the closest person to him! She’s his boss, but also a really dear friend. 

where was your character born and what was their living situation growing up there? 

He was born within the fae realm, and grew up pretty well off really.  Like really well off.
