thinking about marc being bad at nuance and learning lessons and bad at self protection and bad at learning how to not reach for the things he wants. not taking the hint about vale hating him seasons 2015-2018. still saying reconciliation is up to vale himself. lip service about being careful on the ducati that lasts for all of one race. abandoning it entirely once he sees an opportunity to fight for the front. sometimes being OVERLY cautious and shooting himself in the foot in terms of the win in jerez. just no ability to realize what is actually safe until he’s already in the gravel and even THEN it’s hard for him to internalize. and then thinking about the rosquez reunion :)
