If you’re doing poly!MC I’d like to request how each brother would react to their one on one scheduled date being crashed by one or more brothers. MC is here to remind them that when they started this relationship they agreed to certain things like not being jealous and not interrupting one-on-one time. Communication is important in a poly relationship!!!!!
Exactly! But anyway, date crashing with the Brothers, coming right up~
Side note: Coming up with someone crashing Beel's date was surprisingly hard 😅
~
Lucifer:
He had taken MC out to dinner at Ristorante Six, a date they had planned out for the last week.
The oldest and MC had warned his brothers not to cause trouble and let them have their date night in peace.
His brothers have a habit of interrupting his dates with their human, more so than they do with each other.
The man had been paranoid for the first half of the date and MC had to calm his nerves.
When the Avatar of Pride finally let himself himself relax, he leaned in to give his Love a kiss
And was immediately hit in the face with a bread roll.
Annoyed, the man instantly turned in the direction it was thrown from and saw Mammon and Levi at a table in poorly convincing disguises.
Both brothers pointed at the other and said unison "It was him!"
MC reached out and laid their hand over his.
"Luce, please--"
The demon rose up and strode to his brothers' table, picking them up by their collars and dragging the two to the front of the restaurant. He told the manager not to let those two back into the restaurant for the rest of the night. Not only is Lucifer a lord of this land, but he is also a friend of the owner so the manager could not refuse.
Upon returning to his table, he found MC with their head hanging low and picking at their food with their fork.
"I'm sorry..." They said softly. "I know they still haven't learned, but--"
Lucifer leaned in, finally giving them the kiss they planned to give them minutes before.
"Love, you have nothing to be sorry for."
With his pesky brothers now out of the way, the man smiled at his Heart.
"Now, let's enjoy this meal, shall we?"
Mammon:
Carnival date! More so MC's idea than the second brother's because he's scared of rollercoasters it's just not his thing, but how can he say no to his cute little Human?
It wasn't a planned date; at the last second, the boy just kinda grabbed them and ran from House of Lamentation, to the other brothers' annoyance. It was okay though since it was his day with MC and no one else's.
Mammon had his back turned long enough to do a carnival game to win MC the giant poltergeist teddy bear that they wanted-- only to then find that his Human was gone!
Freaking out! Goes to text his brothers about the issues just to read in the group chat that they were the ones that took MC. Rude!
Sat down on a bench, all bummed out as he texted his brothers about how unfair it is and how they need to bring the human back
Just to hear that they had just realized MC disappeared from their group too.
Gaah! And they call him a dumbass??
Suddenly, his eyes were being covered by hands.
"Guess who."
The demon jumped up and turned, finding MC there with an apologetic smile.
"I'm sorry..." They mumbled. "Asmo and them came out of no where."
Mammon grinned.
"Yeah, yeah, of course they did." He told them. "But still! You came back to The Great Mammon and that's what matters!"
He hands the human their bear and MC leans in to kiss his cheek.
Leviathan:
Maid cafe date! The otaku had been thinking about this for a while now, but was afraid MC would be uncomfortable with it.
One of the first in the Devildom was opening up at on the west side though and upon hearing this, MC was actually the one to ask him to go with them.
The third brother couldn't stop grinning when they got there and was so happy, his face didn't even get red when his Human grabbed his hand and led them to their table.
The man couldn't keep his eyes off of the maids for the few minutes, but it was more him fanboying over the aesthetic and how well made the outfits were to him; as a cosplayer who made all of his outfits by scratch, he was impressed.
It didn't bother MC in the slightest; they understood all of this and just listened to his excited remarks as they look through the menu.
The two ended up ordering the lovebird parfait, which size was perfect to share.
MC asked him to feed them the first bite and the demon's face went bright red.
Levi goes to bring the spoon to their lips
"Oh my devil, yes!"
The man dropped the spoon in surprise, causing the parfait on the spoon to fall to the table and launch the creme up to hit the corner of MC's mouth.
Levi immediately covered his face in embarrassment as MC looked over and saw Asmo outside the window, cheering on the third brother.
"No, don't freeze up! You have to kiss them now!"
MC let out a big laugh before wiping the whipped cream off of their face, gently pulling the hands from Levi's face, dabbing it on his lips and leaning in for a kiss.
The kiss only last a moment before the man got too embarrassed and pulled away, covering his mouth.
MC giggled before turning to the Avatar of Lust.
"Thank you for the help, Azzy~" MC blew a kiss to their other boyfriend, who caught it before saying goodbye to the two.
Satan:
Study date, both a productive date and a relaxing one for the the two.
Satan helps them with the more difficult topics from their classes and enjoys the quiet time between them in RAD's library.
Was obviously pretty annoyed when Lucifer came in, breaking the peace.
The oldest had some paper work needing MC's signature; it's nothing new and even Solomon gets such papers to fill out at times.
Obviously though, it wasn't really necessary for the human to handle such papers now and Satan knew this.
Still, MC nodded and followed the Avatar of Pride off to one of the side rooms to talk about it all and sign the papers.
A few minutes passed though and the human never came back to their study table.
Annoyed, the Avatar of Wrath strode off in the direction they went and saw MC sitting on a table with Lucifer's arms around them and in the middle of a deep kiss.
MC pulled back.
"Luce, I have to go back and study--"
They were interrupted by another kiss from the demon. The human pulled away and gave a small laugh.
"Really, must you? I can think some other things we could be doing." He smirked.
"Oh Luci." MC teased, causing the man to frowned.
"Must you use that name? Are you trying to be bratty right now?"
MC jumped off the table.
"This brat has a date to get back to." They told him. "So no more stealing me. You don't like it when your brothers do it to you."
The man pursed his lips. Before he could say anything though, Satan strode into the room.
MC went to say something to him, but was cut off by his lips.
Lucifer scowled as the blonde kissed their human deeply and passionately. The fourth brother was really putting on a show to teach the older one a lesson.
When he pulled back, he smirked at the human.
"Now, I believe we were on Seductive Speechcraft." He wrapped an arm around their waist and led them out of the room, feeling Lucifer's glare every step of the way and relishing in it.
Asmodeus:
Friday night at The Fall. No surprise there. Dates with Asmo commonly involve some sort of partying, shopping, or spa day.
It was a fun night so far; the two had been there for a little over an hour when Asmo had left MC to go get them both more drinks.
He was stopped by a succubus flirting with him at the bar.
The Avatar of Lust took his relationship with his Doll seriously so he put effort into not falling back into old habits of flirting back with every beautiful person who flirted with him.
He smiled at the succubus, but skillful steered the conversation to support his departure.
When he made it back to where he left MC though, the human wasn't there.
Where did his Doll go??
Ends up finding them deeper in the club, leaning against the wall with Mammon in front of them with his hand against the wall right by their head.
Asmo approached just in time to hear his Dolly giggle at something the second brother said.
"Ugh Mammon! This is my night!" The fifth brother complained.
"Eh, so what? The three of us can hang out together!" Mammon leaned in closer to MC. "Ain't that right, Babe?"
MC smiled and leaned in to kiss him.
"Baby boy, I'd love to spend time with you, but you know this is Azzy's night and we planned it as a one-on-one date."
The Avatar of Greed blushed from the nickname.
MC kissed his cheek before moving around him and bringing themselves into Asmo's arms, taking their drink from him.
Azzy kissed their cheek and smiled happily as he led the human away from his older brother.
Beelzebub:
Picnic date! MC worked hard to prepare enough food for it.
Unsurprisingly, it wasn't truly a one-on-one date; Belphie joined them, but was asleep next to them on the blanket.
With the younger twin asleep though, it might as well have been a one-on-one date.
After Beel finished up all of the food, he and the human laid back, cuddling together as they watched the clouds roll by.
Suddenly, MC's phone buzzed. Not wanting to ruin the moment, the human ignored their phone.
More messages kept coming though. Two minutes went by of non-stop buzzing.
The human sighed.
"I'm sorry." MC told the demon holding them as they pulled their phone out of their pocket.
The human had like twenty messages from Levi. Oh lord boy 😑
They were all centered around the new game he got from Akuzon. The human had promised that they'd play it with him when the game got there, but the the Avatar of Envy was getting too impatient.
'Levi, I'm still out with Beel. Could you be more patient please?' They texted the otaku.
'But you promised!'
'We can play when I get back, okay?'
And with that, MC shut off their phone, just to be safe, before putting it back in their pocket.
"I'm sorry about that; it was Levi." The human apologized again.
Beel kissed their head and pulled his Muffin in closer.
"Don't worry about it."
Belphegor:
Nap... date?
Look, getting this boy out of the house can be a challenge, sometimes harder than even Levi.
MC isn't complaining though. Cuddle sessions are always welcomed, especially with the pro cuddler that is the Avatar of Sloth.
The two were up in the attic, laying in bed. The demon had his head on the human's chest as they played with his hair.
That was when Satan came into the room. He sighed.
"Do you ever take them out anywhere nice?"
Belphie's only response was lifting up a hand to show the blonde his middle finger, causing MC to giggle.
Satan shook his had before approaching the bed.
"I left my notes in your room to look over later." He informed the human. "I could help you over the material later... or we could do something different, Little One."
Belphie growled. Satan smirked. MC blushed a bright red.
"Leave. Now." The younger brother barked.
The blonde rolled his eyes before leaning down and kissing the human.
Belphie growled again, causing MC to break the kiss.
"Satan..."
The blonde smiled at them.
"I'll see you later, Kitten." He told them before leaving the room.
MC looked over to apologize to the demon in bed with them, but was stopped by his lips.
After a long kiss that practically radiated the seventh brother's possessiveness, he broke away and stared at them.
"You are mine right now, got that?"
MC nodded and the man laid his head back on their chest.
"Good."

To Be Happy - Autumn
By: SassyShoulderAngel319
Fandom/Character(s): DC, BatFam, SuperFam - Jason Todd/Robin & Conner Kent/Superboy
Rating: PG/K+
Original Idea: Part 1 Summer. @welovegroot
Notes: (Masterlist)(By Character)(About Me) Ahhh high school. The “good old days” that I’m glad to say I don’t miss too much.
^^^^^
September 7, 1:45PM
“I think Conner’s going to ask me to homecoming,” I said to Robin as we snacked on popcorn in the common room, months later. No one else was at the base except the two of us. They were all on a mission, but Robin had been injured and I was studying.
Robin’s voice cracked as he replied, “That’s great.” He cleared his throat. “That’s great.” A cough. “Stupid puberty,” he mumbled.
I couldn’t help but giggle. “It’s okay, I thought it was cute.” I glanced up from my book and smiled at him. “Do you think I should go with Conner though? I mean…” I sighed and shrugged. “I dunno. I like him but I always feel like he’s keeping me at arm’s distance.” I bit my lip and watched Robin think.
“He’s always like that. He doesn’t show how close he feels to someone because he… just kinda doesn’t know how,” Robin reasoned. “I think… I think you should go with him. Be, uh, be sure to send me a picture of you in your dress.”
I chuckled. “I think I will. Thanks Robin. That… that’s really encouraging.”
^^^^^
Jason you NUMBSKULL! Jason thought harshly to himself. Why are you encouraging her to date another guy? What kind of idiot ARE you?!
He peeked at Starbeam as her attention returned to her book and she pulled her knees up higher to balance her book on them. He knew exactly what kind of idiotic numbskull he was. The kind who was besotted and bewitched by the telekinetic powerhouse sitting on the other end of the sofa, reading a textbook with her tongue between her teeth and her eyelashes casting shadows down her face.
The kind of idiot who was willing to shove his own feelings out of the way in order for her to be happy. Who was willing to watch her be with someone else as long as it meant that he got to see her smile and the way it lit up her eyes—even if her beautiful smile and laugh wasn’t directed at him.
He sighed to himself, casting his eyes down at his injured knee. He thanked the pain for a moment because it meant he got to spend some time alone with her while the team was out on a busy mission.
“Penny for your thoughts, Robin,” Starbeam said, looking up again.
“Just trying to remember how many dates you two have been on,” Jason said.
Stars blinked and scrunched her eyebrows in thought. “Like… three,” she said. “We only do stuff every-so-often when we’re not busy and only two of those really counted as dates, I think.” She dug into her pocket and pulled an actual penny out. Laying it flat on her palm, she used her powers to gently float it towards him. He took it from the air. “There. Now you’ll have good luck,” she said decisively.
Maybe, but not with you, Jason thought.

September 14, 9:30PM
“WHOO! GO CONNER!” I shouted, jumping up and down in the bleachers. Normally I’d never been a fan of football, but I was having fun cheering for Conner. M’gann was disguised as a normal human girl beside me. We were both cheering. She’d morphed her face to be our high school’s colors and everyone kept complimenting her on her face paint. We just giggled about it once the people left.
Conner caught the football—I think he played as a receiver?—and started taking off down the field toward the endzone.
Our whole side of the stands erupted into cheers, M’gann and I shrieking and cheering. “Go Conner!” I shouted while M’gann whooped. He could probably hear us with his enhanced hearing, but if he did, he didn’t make any sign.
The girl standing in front of us in the student section turned around. “Boyfriend?” she asked me curiously.
I made a face. “Not exactly,” I said.
“But they’re so close!” M’gann supplied.
“Megan!” I protested.
She ignored me.
Conner crossed into the endzone seconds before the buzzer went off to signal the end of the game.
The whole crowd shouted and cheered and shrieked. M’gann and I jumped up and down as the band played the fight song.
“Oh man!” I exclaimed. “We trashed those Gotham Acad preps!”
M’gann laughed. “Careful. Rob and Wing both go or went there,” she teased.
I waved my hand dismissively. “Pffft! Who cares! It’s high school sports!” I shouted over the screaming crowd.
We made our way with the flood of the student section down onto the field.
“Conner! Conner!” I shouted, peering over heads to try and find him. Why did I have to be so short? “Conner!”
Someone’s arms snagged me from behind and scooped me up. “We won!” Conner exclaimed. I laughed, wrapping my arms around his neck just in case he dropped me—which he wouldn’t, but it was a habit.
“Great job, Kon,” I said with a grin.
He set my feet on the ground and dipped me back over his leg. When he leaned down, I reached up and slid my fingers into his—sweaty—hair and brought his face down to mine.
Not a bad first kiss.
^^^^^
Jason watched from the other side of the field—the visiting side—as Conner Kent, football team superstar, lifted Starbeam over his head like she weighed nothing before setting her down, bending her low over his leg, and kissing her.
Jason felt his heart break a little. Dick, who was standing next to him, didn’t even notice. Just chuckled and sighed. “Hooooo. Welp. What can I say? We deserved that,” Dick said. He stood up and moved to head down the bleachers. “I'm going to go congratulate Conner. Wanna come with me?” He gave Jason a look.
“I’ll come say hi,” Jason muttered, following his older brother down the stands and onto the field. They both jumped the railing that separated the field from the track wrapped around it and jogged across the field to the home team’s celebration.
“Conner! Hey Conner!” Dick shouted, ducking under some crazed student’s arm to make it to where Kon, Stars, and M’gann were all celebrating. “Congratulations on the win!”
“Thanks Grayson,” Conner said. Jason broke through the crowd at that moment and gave Stars an awkward smile. She smiled back, friendly as always. Conner’s arm was around her waist and he was smiling bigger than Jason had ever seen him smile.
^^^^^
September 15, 4:57PM
“You look incredible, Stars,” Conner said as I emerged from my room in my homecoming dress.
“Thanks. M’gann helped me pick out the dress,” I said, straightening my skirt a little.
“It looks nice on you,” Conner said. He offered me his elbow the same way he had when we went on our first unofficial date to the movie in the summer. “Shall we?” I took his elbow with a grin.
“We shall,” I said.
We headed into town to go to dinner before the homecoming dance.
Conner did everything right. He opened doors for me, pulled out my chair, chivalrously ordered for me after I told him what I decided on. He’d come a long way since June when he didn’t know whether or not to escort me to the movie. I was proud of him.
Dinner went well, and then we headed to the school for the dance.
“Oh my gosh! Are you two together now?” one of the girls in my English class asked.
“Nope. Just going to the dance together,” I said. Conner and I slipped away from her and into the crowd.
“Why are we doing this again?” Conner asked quietly. “Dances are not my thing.”
“No, but we have to have some normal high school activities. Pretend we live normal lives,” I said.
“I play football. Isn’t that enough?”
“No. Football players are almost expected to be the guys that go to every dance with a different girl every time. Unless they’re dating someone exclusively.”
“But I don’t want to take any other girl to another dance and I’m not dating anyone.”
I laughed. “Then you don’t have to. I'm just pointing out what high school football players tend to do in our culture.”
Conner looked thoughtful.
The song changed to a really loud one that nearly knocked me off my feet. I used my powers to bend some of the soundwaves around us just enough that it wasn’t so loud. We danced with our friends and I found myself having a lot of fun.
When a slow song came on, I showed Kon how to slow dance. He was clumsy and awkward, but once he got the hang of it he did well. I grinned and giggled.
On the way back to Mt. Justice, Conner scooped me up and flew me back when we were certain no one would see us. We’d walked there since I didn’t want to ruin my hair but didn’t care on the way home.
When we touched down at the entrance, I bit my lower lip. “Thank you, Conner,” I said. “I had a really good time.”
“Me too. The pleasure was all mine.”
We stood there awkwardly, not entirely sure what to do.
Conner leaned forward, pecked my cheek, and disappeared down the hall.
^^^^^
October 14, 7:26PM
“Happy birthday, Starbeam,” Robin said, holding out a small wrapped package.
“Robin! You didn’t have to get me anything,” I said, trying not to accept it.
Robin pushed it closer to me. “Please. Just accept it. It’s nothing major.”
I opened it—and beamed. “Oh my goodness. Thank you! My copy was falling apart at the bindings!”
“I, uh, I know. I saw you reading it in the common room a few weeks ago.”
“But I didn’t tell anyone when my birthday is,” I pointed out.
Robin shrugged. “Batman trained me,” he said.
I laughed. “Fair enough.” I gave Robin a hug. “Thank you, Robin.”
M’gann appeared. “Wait?! Is it your birthday?!” she demanded. I nodded sheepishly. “OH MY GOODNESS! Why didn’t you tell me?! How old are you today?!”
“Sixteen,” I said.
“Congratulations! Sixteen is an important milestone for humans isn’t it?”
“In theory? In America I guess,” I said. “It’s called your Sweet Sixteen but I’ve never known why. There’s really nothing special about it.”
“Well, congratulations anyway. That’s wonderful!”
“Thanks M’gann,” I said.
“We should all go out and get some ice cream or something.”
“Uh… I'm really good staying here.”
“There might be some ice cream in the freezer,” Robin supplied.
M’gann, looking interested, skedaddled to the kitchen. I turned back to Robin. “Thanks,” I said. “M’gann is a great girl but her enthusiasm really drains me sometimes.” Robin nodded and shrugged, shoving his hands in his pockets.
“No problem,” he said, a little smile on his face.

Hello Nagoya! (03/13)
Proofread: Sophia (@aseria) Thank you so much!!
Visual Board Tour Event:
Sendai | Sapporo | Hiroshima | Fukuoka | Osaka | Nagoya
Mitsuki: Let’s begin for today! IDOLISH7's web program...
All: Kimi to 'Ai'dolish Nai to~!
Yamato: This web program is presented by us, IDOLISH7. It takes place the same time as our tour to seven cities, "Visual Board Tour".
Riku: I wanted to start this off with an exciting feel, but the tour is getting near the end, it's kind of sad...
Sougo: It felt like the tour was going to be very long when we were praying at the shrine on new year’s, but now it feels like it went by very quickly.
Nagi: Endings are sad but, ‘let's leave this’ (‘yorikiri’) just like we usually do. [yorikiri is usually used in sumo wrestling.]
Yamato: No, this isn’t sumo wrestling.
Mitsuki: You meant 'let's end this' (‘yarikiru’), right!
Iori: There were some people that could only meet us in one city, but we really appreciated it, thank you very much. [Iori is using japanese idiom 一期一会 (ichigo ichie)] (1)
Tamaki: I don't really understand but I get that Iorin is saying a really good thing.
Nagi: Tamaki, 'Ichigo ichie' is a remarkable Japanese idiom.
Tamaki: Yeah, I don't want to get told that by someone who mistook 'yarikiru' with 'yorikiri'.
Nagi: A man who never moves on from the past will never get popular, you know.
Sougo: Tamaki-kun, shall I lend you my "four-character idiomatic phrase" book? (2)
Tamaki: I don't need it.
Riku: Iori, this is what they call ‘deviating’ ('dassen'), right? I just found out about it lately! (3)
Iori: It's because of all of you that this is a running joke on our TV program's name, "Kimi to Dassen Shinai to!"!
Yamato: Well, Onii-san will do something about it for you, Ichi.
Yamato: Mitsu, get them back on topic.
Mitsuki: You just leave it all to me!?
Mitsuki: *sighs* Ok then everyone, our tour is nearing its end, did you guys have any impressions up until now?
Riku: Doing this tour made me feel the fan’s encouragement, and it made me so happy! I want to pay it back to everyone by doing a concert and such!
Sougo: Riku-kun's singing is always enough to encourage the fans. They always write it in their letters.
Mitsuki: Reading fan letters makes us feel that our hard work really reaches out to them!
Tamaki: It feels like they are always looking at us.
Sougo: Tamaki-kun.......
Nagi: We should not be satisfied with this, everyone. We should feel 'burnt out' at a time like this. (4)
Riku: Burnt out?
Nagi: Rather than explaining it, it would be easier to understand through action. Riku, sit on that chair there and put your elbow on both of your knees...
Iori & Yamato: Stop it.
Mitsuki: The staffs' faces are starting to look impatient, so let's go to the next corner soon guys!
All: Ooh~!
Mitsuki: The first corner, "Confess Your Love In Dialect!"
All: Confess~!
Mitsuki: Everyone already knows the rules but let's just explain it anyway! Tamaki, please!
Tamaki: Ooh. It's a scary corner where one member must confess using the dialect of the city we're currently visiting.
Tamaki: The confessions are chosen by our staff’s acquaintances so the dialect might be out of date these days, so forgive us.
Mitsuki: Thanks Tamaki! Ok then I'll leave it to Nagi, the one in charge of Nagoya!
Nagi: YES.
Yamato: That's a nice face you got there.
Nagi: It is my usual face. Ok everyone, form a line there please.
Tamaki: Wait!!
Mitsuki: Ooh, what is it!? it's a "wait..!!" situation!!
Tamaki: It's unfair that Nagicchi's team don't have to confess to their unit members...!
Nagi: Please be quiet Tamaki. There are things that are okay and not okay to get noticed.
Tamaki: I won't be quietー. The staff who made the rule will be displeased!
Nagi: King Pudding.
Tamaki: Today's me is different than the usual me. I won't fall for that!
Iori: It's because you have already eaten 3 puddings today so you're already satisfied, huh.
Sougo: 3 puddings.......?
Tamaki: Sou-chan, we can talk about that later.
Mitsuki: Tamaki looks serious....!
Riku: Those eyes are showing just how desperate he is...!
Iori: Let's just do the confession already...
Nagi: Think about it Tamaki. In the first place, it was already weird that we had to confess to another male.
Yamato: It's a justification.
Mitsuki: Nagi looks so funny persuading Tamaki while justifying himself.
Nagi: Yamato, Mitsuki, you can say whatever you want, but if Tamaki wins this you two will have to redo your confessions after this.
Yamato: I am so sorry.
Mitsuki: It was our mistakes. Sorry, Tamaki. We're on Nagi's side.
Tamaki: Ah, that's unfair! Sou-chan, Iorin, and Rikkun are on my side, right.
Riku: Yeah! My turn hasn't happened yet, so I think I'm more on Tamaki's side!
Yamato: Sou, the older's opinion is more important, right?
Sougo: Uh, uum...... Tamaki-kun, I'm so sorry?
Mitsuki: Iori is on Nii-chan's side, right?
Iori: Yotsuba-san, I am so sorry.
Tamaki: The adults are so dirtyー!!
Nagi: Tamaki, your accusations are not valid anymore. It was decided by a majority vote.
Tamaki: I can't accept thisー.
Riku: Ah, Tamaki, there's a note from the staff!
Tamaki: "We didn’t receive any request from the fans to make the Pythagoras Fighter team confess to each other, so it's okay."?
Mitsuki: Ahaha! That's funny but kinda sad, huh!
Yamato: Well~ Onii-san is glad he's with Mitsu and Nagi.
Nagi: We have made the decision already. There's no meaning in continuing this argument. Do you understand?
Iori: You look so satisfied.
Riku: This is what they call 'instigating', huh!
Tamaki: It's really pissing me off!
Sougo: Now, now. Tamaki-kun, you confessed to King Pudding, so isn't it fair?
Tamaki: .... Even if I deny it now, Sou-chan wouldn’t understand why, so just do your DIY projects or something over there. (5)
Sougo: Eh? Eerm... Prop master...!
Yamato: No, don't actually do it here!
Tamaki: Uughー! I hate everyone!
Mitsuki: Now, now, don't say something like that, Tamaki. Let's form a line here.
Nagi: Okay then, I will say it now.
Nagi: I love you. (6)
All: Ooh~!
Nagi: Just like Sougo, I also love all six of you.
Tamaki: .................
Nagi: Of course, I love Tamaki too.
Mitsuki: Now Tamaki, cheer up already.
Tamaki: I know that already.
Yamato: I'll buy you a fourth pudding after this.
Tamaki: ....... I was lying when I said I hated everyone.
Riku: Ahaha, we knew that!
Iori: What a moody person.
Mitsuki: It's one of Tamaki's good points too, though!
Tamaki: Don't treat me like a child.
Yamato: We’re not treating you like a child! So you can eat King Pudding sooner, let's move on to the next corner.
Mitsuki: Thanks, Yamato-san! Well then, onto the next corner!
Mitsuki: Now the second corner! "Talk About Your Memories in That City!"
All: Let's talk about it~!
Mitsuki: Ok, the explanation of this corner, Sougo, I leave it to you!
Sougo: Yes. In this corner, we talk about our time in the city we’re currently visiting.
Mitsuki: Thanks, Sougo! Riku, do you have any?
Riku: That restaurant where we ate dinner, the desserts were so delicious! Tamaki was so excited!
Tumblr media
Iori: Yotsuba-san really loves anything as long as it's sweet, huh...?
Tamaki: No, well. It feels like I really had to eat that, that kind of feeling.
Nagi: OH! It sounds like a 'bushi'! (7)
Yamato: It would have been tough if Tama wasn't there.
Riku: It would have been really tough because we couldn't finish all the dishes by ourselves! It's so funny!
Iori: It really was tough for Nanase-san.
Riku: The way you say it sounds scary, so stop it!
Iori: You said it's funny but now you re saying it's scary. What a complicated person.
Tamaki: Don't worry, Rikkun. As long as I'm here you'll be fine.
Sougo: That's so cool, Tamaki-kun.
Mitsuki: And that one photo was so funny!
Tumblr media
Sougo: That one, right. It reminds me of when we were in Osaka. Yamato-san is actually willingly to do anything if you ask him to, despite how he looks.
Tumblr media
Yamato: Nah, that's not true...
Iori: If it's Nanase-san who asked you, you couldn't refuse, right.
Riku: Eh!? Yamato-san, did you actually not like it......?
Yamato: No, I didn't hate itー It was interesting huhー
Riku: I'm glad! My phone's full of photos I took with everyone, I'm so happy!
Nagi: I feel the same. A phone filled with photos of friends is proof of 'living life'. (8)
Riku: Yeah! That's why, we should go to many places and take lots of photos together from now on!
Mitsuki: That sounds nice~! Riku's words makes me kinda happy!
Riku: We only live once, that's why! I want to have those days where we’re reminiscing like, 'that time was so fun~'!
Iori: To make that come true, we have to try our best, right Nanase-san?
Riku: Yeah!
Tamaki: Let's play games together again, Iorin, Nagicchi, Rikkun.
Nagi: I won't lose.
Iori: I will not hold back.
Yamato: Then we should look over these children while drinking.
Sougo: Fufu, that sounds nice.
Mitsuki: Okaay! This is a good time for Nagoya's detailed announcements. Nagi, please!
Nagi: Roger, Mitsuki. I shall announce Nagoya's news.
Nagi: IDOLISH7's tour across the country, "Visual Board Tour 2017" will take place at Nagoya starting today on March 13th.
Nagi: Everyone, have you seen our billboard picture in Nagoya Station? There will be posters, CM, and other merchandise, so please check it out.
Yamato: There's also Nagi's message on the billboard in Nagoya Station this time.
Nagi: Yes. Please accept my message of love.
Riku: Thank you for liking the off-shots on Twitter! Look forward to Nagoya's photos too, okay!
Sougo: It seems like the responses for our off-shots in Osaka were great too.
Yamato: It's about Onii-san's mischievous glasses, right?
Tumblr media
Mitsuki: No, no! it's definitely about that photo of Izumi brothers getting along!
Tumblr media
Sougo: U, umm... I think it's both!
Mitsuki: Ahaha! Sougo’s confused now! Let's wrap it up, guys!
Mitsuki: Everyone, see you next week! 3, 2, 1!
All: The next "Kimi to 'Ai'dolish Nai to!", don't miss it!!!!!
T/N
(1) Iori is using japanese idiom 一期一会 (ichigo ichie). Ichigo ichie literally means “one opportunity, one encounter”, so “Treasure every encounter, for it will never recur.” The term is derived from Zen Buddhism and concepts of transience, and it is particularly associated with the Japanese tea ceremony.
(2) Sougo means he would lend Tamaki his Yojijukugo dictionaries because he doesn’t know about Ichigo Ichie. (Yojijukugo (四字熟語) is a Japanese lexeme consisting of four kanji (Chinese characters). English translations of yojijukugo include "four-character compound", "four-character idiom", "four-character idiomatic phrase", and "four-character idiomatic compound". It is equivalent to the Chinese chengyu. Ichigo Ichie is one of Yojijukugo idioms.
(3) Dassen (脱線) means derailment/digression from topic
(4) Nagi's "Burnt out". 燃え尽き症候群 (moetsuki shoukougun) literally means 'burn out'. It is like, a feeling when you're not satisfied with the results of something. It’s so stressful, you just get burnt out.
(5) Tamaki likely wanted to say "I didn't confess to King Pudding, your Ousaka Pudding is not the same as King Pudding!!" but stopped bc Sougo thinks his Ousaka Pudding is as cute as King Pudding (lol)
Tumblr media
(6) Nagi’s confession is in Nagoya dialect, the romaji is "Dera suki da ga ya"
(7) Bushi, or Bushido (the moral of the warrior) is a Japanese term for the samurai way of life. Bushi terms usually end with "-- naranu" and Tamaki's line was "kuwaneba naranu" (I had to eat)
(8) Nagi's "living life" here, he literally said リア充 [riajyu] here. riajyu is an abbreviation of リアルが充実している[riaru ga jyujitsu shiteiru], or in other words, being satisfied with your life. You can read about it more here
Thank you for reading!!💕

so i wrote up a review/rambling about persona 5
you can either read it [here on twitlonger] or you can read it placed underneath the read more cause its super long and i dont want to make your dashboards gigantic
Persona 5: My Thoughts since it has been consuming my soul for the past few weeks, I thought it was about time I wrote up my thoughts proper on Persona 5 and not just some weird half sentence that I garbled at the bottom of the ocean. i'm not really formatting this much it's gonna be a lot of rambling and a bit scattershot but please bear with me. lets do this in categories and then an overall, shall we GAMEPLAY, THE BATTLE PART: How You Gonna Shoot With A Toy Gun the gameplay of Persona 5 is, well, incredible. it takes the one more system used since Persona 3 and refines it to an absurd degree. while the weaknesses of shadows still kind of don't make sense at all and the guessing game aspect of battles remains, everything else has been improved. battles are really, really fast and super satisfying. attacks look good and snappy, and nothing feels like it's dragging too long. but what Persona 5 adds to this mix that really puts it over the edge is demon negotiation. not only does it bring some of the most interesting aspects from Shin Megami Tensei proper into Persona (using your enemies as your new strength), it also gives a lot more value and strategy to knocking dudes down. in P3 and P4 your party members would ask "hey we gonna all out attack fam" and there was never really a time you would say no because, why? but in P5, a full knockdown results in a holdup, where you can extract money, items, or the demon itself as a persona out of the mix, as well as being able to just do an all out attack. this is F A N T A S T I C. it enhances a lot of aspects of the battle system, and really makes hitting weaknesses and figuring out what to do more satisfying. and as the icing on the cake, P5 added the baton pass system to battles, making them even more fluid and satisfying. in short, it lets one character, after hitting a weakness, pass their extra turn to another character, while boosting their stats for that attack. it allows for a lot more strategy and creativity, where your whole team can contribute. some of the most fun I've had with turn based battles. GAMEPLAY, THE RUNNING PART: I Gotta Have Me A Good Steal one of the more lackluster portions of Persona games was wandering around in dungeons, whether it be a giant tower to the moon or some bathhouse. outside of visual elements, they all bled together. floors were randomly generated to some extent, and you just wandered around, grabbing some items and fighting shadows that randomly spawn. it was serviceable, but nothing spectacular. P5 takes this and cranks everything up to 11 million. proper dungeons are now actually designed experiences, with shadows and layouts specifically made for each dungeon. every dungeon has its own mechanics and style that plays up the unique aspects of the person whose heart you're traipsing around on. but the biggest change is the way your character moves. with a full stealth system that's a blast to use, jumping from hiding spot to hiding spot, a lot of P5's dungeons are somewhat stealth oriented. being seen by shadows raises security and makes things harder, and if you're seen too much you gotta bail. but through ambushing enemies, you can undo the security raises of your mistakes, while also getting the huge advantages of an ambush. as well, being able to climb around the environment, jumping up walls and flipping around just feels and looks great. god damn. and just in case you really miss those randomized dungeons, don't worry! there's a fun and not too long randomized dungeon a la tartarus/midnight channel in the game too! GAMEPLAY, EVERYWHERE ELSE: I Can't Believe This Is Three Parts. Jeez here's where persona 5 doesn't make astronomical leaps and bounds forwards, but just some nice improvements. outside of dungeons/battle P5 follows the Persona formula. everything's on a timetable, and you can do one (1) thing in the day and one (1) thing in the evening, except if you A: are in a story event where for some reason your free time goes missing B: go to a dungeon and can't hire your teacher to give you a massage C: your cat says you're sleepy the overworld of P5 and the various locales in it are pretty interesting and fun to walk around in, but there's a lot of areas that exist solely for hanging out with confidants. if you just play properly though you really don't get much to any use out of them, and that's kind of disappointing for me. I wanted to visit more zones but what we have is very memorable. what P5 adds to the formula is the various boons granted by confidants, most notably Temperance (which you should really max ASAP that's a pro-tip) that will change certain things in daily life and in dungeons, but we'll get to that part later. from giving you access to more jobs, to allowing you more free time in class, to unlocking more fortune telling options, there's a lot of stuff to do. P5 also has a small selection of minigames to pass the time, from B A S E B A L L to F I S H I N G to C R O S S W O R D S and more. what's nifty is each minigame also can serve a practical purpose and raise social stats but we'll get there. the map showing you if confidants will rank up or not is nice, and fast travel is very generous in this game. not much else to say here. I don't get lost so that's nice SOCIALIZING: Who Taught You ___, Nasty Crime Boy ah.... confidants. aka social links, they're the meat of the non-dungeon crawling experience of P5. like in previous games, most major story characters that aren't complete scum or trying to kill you will have confidants, with ranks 1-10. this is where the visual novel/dating sim components show up, and there's not a ton to say here so i'll keep my rambling down to a minimum. each confidant has their own little side story that you partake in when they're free, where you read and then give answers when prompted. it can go as menial as "hey wanna go eat ramen" to "please come with me to help me save a little girl's life." based on your answers, you get points towards the next link. this game does something nifty where when you get points (1-3 notes) there will be a little additional uh, graphic and sound that plays that's kinda subtle but tells you that you have enough points to immediately rank them up again. that's a really good addition. you can romance people too, and you can romance EVERY girl in the game. who cares how much older than you they are just do it loser (don't actually) but here's where confidants change a lot in p5 from past things. in P3 they kinda were just to fuse hot personas, while in P4 they were mainly for that but also unlocked some abilities, but not a ton. mainly party members. in P5, every confidant gives several abilities that will greatly enhance your experience with the game and make your character grow a lot stronger. from giving party members the ability to endure blows and baton pass, as well as recover from ailments, to the even more absurd non party member abilities. some confidants let you swap party members in battle, allow you to breeze through negotiation, get double money, reduce security levels, buy and modify weapons, get free time in class, read fortunes and get bonuses based on that, and so on. this makes (nearly) every confidant not just useful on a "hey man i wanna fuse a good persona" level, it makes them invaluable to your characters growth. it makes the visual novel part much more important, and more enjoyable. plus they're (nearly) all fantastic little stories that flesh out each character and the world around you. lastly and real fast, most confidants will give you a mission to go complete in the other dungeon, mementos, in order to help them through their struggles and advance their story. these minibosses give out a lot of good money, items, and exp, as well as being a fun part of the story and something else to do in mementos. it's neat. oh yeah and confidants are now no longer on such a rigorous schedule like previous games, and a lot more accessible and free flowing. its nice SOCIAL STATS: Eating A Burger Made Me The Perfect Man i'm devoting a whole section to this. buckle up kids. P5 has 5 social stats, knowledge, guts, proficiency, kindness, and charm. each of them has 5 levels of progression. (you start at 1). some stats, like proficiency, give tangible boosts. however, almost all social stats are progressed solely for the sake of starting and advancing confidants. you need X level knowledge to start Y confidant, you need X level proficency to advance Y confidant at rank Z, and so on. raising social stats is accomplished through various overworld activities and whatever, and take up time. however, in order to max all confidants, and most of them honestly, you're going to need rank 5 in every social stat. sure, fine, its a conscious design decision. here are my complaints, notarized 1: first time through, it's not communicated well what activity boosts what, but more importantly how MUCH each activity boosts a stat. 2: while you can check what stage each social stat is at, there is no way to tell how much you've progressed to the next rank. just pour it in and pray. 3: some stats (KINDNESS) are very difficult to raise optimally as they may require rng events to give you the full 3 note boost as opposed to 2 notes. 4: some confidants give you social stats which WOULD be good but they only give you them on rank up. outta here w/that without prior knowledge, your first month or two of P5 is gonna be filled with poor scheduling decisions because how could you know that X activity is actually terrible for raising the stat you want? and since it takes up time (usually an evening slot), it really hurts your confidants overall. with good decisions and scheduling, you can actually max confidant (minus autos that will just progress through plot) with nearly a month to spare, but that waste and sufffering of the start may make you miss out on several confidants. it's a good idea, but still needs work and feels really cheap sometimes. (WHY DO I NEED 5 PROFICIENCY TO HELP A GIRL GARDEN WHAT THE FU) PLOT: Ya'll Wanna Read Some Anime this will be much lighter than the rest because I don't wanna spoil the plot so here's very broad strokes. the plot of Persona 5, overall, is very compelling and enjoyable. it's not perfect by any means, and has its dips in quality (anyone want a burger), but I enjoyed pretty much the whole thing. we'll get into characters separately BUT i found the narrative to be much more engaging than Persona 4 and as compelling as Persona 3. it's much darker than P4, but still maintains moments of levity and fun, even when dealing with serious issues. its take on rebellion, the subconscious, and shadows are all very enjoyable. it does suffer from a few frankly stupid conflicts between party members to build ~drama,~ but 99% of the time interactions between the characters and the world around them are wonderful. a real sense of camaraderie and friendship between the cast is evident and helps shape the narrative. it does suffer from a bit of "wow some of these kids are stupid/lack common sense" but its nowhere to the severity of Persona 4's "gee who is that on the tv gotta wait a week to find out" style stupidity to keep the plot rolling and not solve things instantly, but it will occasionally hit that type of thing. but that's a nitpick as it happens infrequently. to try and not spoil anything, the ending arc does suffer from a bit of P4 syndrome too wherein the last and true conflict kind of comes out of nowhere, but less so this time. it's still something I'll say is a minor problem, but the actual writing and gameplay/moments of the final arc ultimately redeem that. on replay you can see SOME hints but it's not built up enough In My Onion. hope i didnt spoil anything lets move on CHARACTERS: I Was Gonna Type Waifu Wars And Then Jesus Wept again, I will attempt to dance around spoilers here. I feel like the characters of P5, with how much emphasis is placed upon your bonds with them and the existence of the confidant system, deserve their own little writeup. with two exceptions I love every single major character/confidant in the game. one of them has their character arc go up in flames for a bit to stir up ~drama~ but ultimately regains its footing by the end, while the other just sucks. some confidants may be a bit slow to start (DEVIL) but by the end of each confidant i was very attached to each character, and was utterly charmed by them. the main cast are all extremely charming with full-ish character arcs approaching p3 level. in fact, one of my favorite smaller details in the game is the small conversations characters have while driving around in mementos. the writing and character banter is well written and charming, with characters all having their own distinct personality and vibe. this helps the school life portions of the game a LOT, as now school trips and various other events where in other games I cursed them for stealing my free time (mainly p4 but p3 has a few), they're snappy and fun. there's some anime thrown in there so if you can't stand a bit of melodrama and long winded rambling, then some things might not land as much for you as they did for me, but I feel that P5's characters have something for everyone. no matter who you are, you're going to love at least ONE of the many confidants available. ART/SOUND: I Have Listened To Whims Of Fate Over 100 Times And Don't Plan To Stop I'm no art critic and I'm not gonna pretend to be one so I'll keep this short. the art design in P5 is some of the best, if not the best I've ever seen, at least for my tastes. every little aspect of this game is incredibly stylized, from the more dramatic like all out attack finishers, to even the simple things like menus. everything is positively BURSTING with style and personality, all while functioning as a slick and fun interface. and I mean everything. even the text boxes. if you haven't played it, just look up the all out attack compilation. or look at screenshots of the menus. it's really hard to put into words just how happy it makes me. the color scheme of red, black, and white also reminds me a lot of persona 2 and i love you p2 please remake p2 as one complete game package atlus finally, the music. every single persona game (and nearly every megaten game) has a fantastic soundtrack, and this one is no exception. honestly? just go listen to it and see for yourself. the vibe/aesthetic they chose for P5 is one that I don't really have the ability to describe for I am an uncultured fool who plays games all the time, but it is SO good. while I still prefer the P3 soundtrack mainly due to bias, the p5 soundtrack is one of the most solid overall soundtracks in any game. to add to this, the sound DESIGN of p5 is also phenomenal. music changing with the weather, small details of adding instrumentation to a song over time and progression, and the use of leitmotif all really sell the game. the vocals still have a bit of "yeah thats a non native speaker singing english" but the songs are so good and the singing is so good anyways that it doesn't really matter. because its fun here's my p5 song ranking 1: whims of fate 2: with the stars and us 3: nothingness...? 4: days when my mother was there 5: life goes on/rivers in the desert 6: theyre all so good help OVERALL: I Am Erect in summation, this game is really, really, REALLY good. i'll wait for the dust to settle in my soul to rank it properly, but this is easily one of the most enjoyable experiences I've ever had in a video game. the best Persona game easily, and possibly the best SMT/Megaten game as well. this may sound like hyperbole but this game is genuinely everything I've wanted out of an RPG. atlus is really knocking it out of the park lately with SMT4: Apocalypse being one of the best RPGs ever made and now this. i cannot recommend it enough. even if you usually don't enjoy turn based RPGs I still recommend giving it a try. I usually hate visual novels, and I enjoyed every second of my tons of reading. just be warned, this is a longass game. my first playthrough took around 70 hours, and I generally get through games faster than most. ng+ is fun too to send this ridiculously long thing off, I will now proceed to list my top 10 characters of P5 because I love lists. 0-BIAS: Takemi 1: Futaba 2: Sae 3: Sojiro 4: Makoto 5: Yusuke 6: Iwai 7: Chihaya 8: Morgana 9: Hifumi 10: Kawakami GORO AKECHI: Goro Akechi THE WORST ONE: Shinya tl;dr: Persona 5 is one of the greatest games ever made and it made me feel alive thanks for reading everyone, and as a sinful man once said; "Please don't troll me online."
