Seemingly every Primarch* was designed to be two halves of a single unit, or a "pair" (see: Belial & Lucifer, Halluel & Malluel, the Four Primarchs). Once they clear things up, Sandalphon and Raziel work together with such ease and trust, it feels like they were designed with this in mind. Even their roles benefit each other: the Supreme Primarch who protects the Skies, and the Archangel of Enigmas who records them.
*There an exceptions, of course, most notably Sariel, but he's been learning how to work with others at an astonishing rate. Maybe Primarchs were all designed to have the same teamwork abilities as Skydwellers, to better protect the Skies?

While Magus and Horus do look great I agree it's definitely frustrating that their first units are summer units rather than normal units.
their base art's also are just reskin of their actual talking sprite, which is something Granblue only does for outfits they don't want to actually make canon usually, this is beyond lazy and annoying
they deserved proper introduction to the crew, it's not like Halluel and Malluel who started out with their summer event while they had a summon AND were ALLIES in the previous events. And it was in relation with the Maydays not 000. (even if it is sad they started out as summer units).
here it's just a mess??? Those are anni units but they're summer? They were enemies so instead of seeing how they actually decided to stick around it's just immediately summer fun? And that's how they're introduced to the pool??
their uncap arts look pretty and i do like Magus, Horus sounds interesting but it's not like the anni really gave us a lot to work with and i assumed we should get starter units first to get to know them. But this is a terrible way to introduce them to the pool and such a sad way to celebrate the /10th anni/....

Episode 1274: Who’s To Your Liking...?
Translator Notes:
There’s what might be a neat Japanese pun in the first panel that I thought I should note, as there wasn’t really any way to translate it.  The term in question describing the location of Sandalphon’s wings is seotta, which can literally mean that something is being carried on one’s back, but can also figuratively mean that one has been burdened with something.  In the case of Sandalphon’s wings, both meanings can potentially apply - they are literally on his back, but they represent a power that he has been burdened with, too.
Also, full disclosure: large portion of the lines in this comic are very loosely translated to make things sound as natural as possible.  Comics featuring the Lowain Bros are pretty much always like that.
