Lawrence would be very reluctant. He loves dogs, but its been a while since he's had any pet.

He'd make a deal with Marshall, telling him if he's extra well-behaved for the next few months, he'd get him a dog (and giving him the "its a big responsibility" talk a million times).

how delta met malyshka

so this is one of several bits of an origin story i have in the mix for delta, how they got their dog! malyshka is (basically) a belgian malinois and yeah, her relevance in the story is that she is delta's service dog! she accompanies him wherever is safe and makes sure that his panic attacks/anxiety don't cause him harm or affect him in the field. Clearly delta's been through some stuff, and there will be a comic forthcoming about that at some point, too. :)
