|| Carlos de Vil & a crush • X F!Reader
warnings: n/a
authors note: it isnt mentioned who your parent is its up to you for that! mb if its messy i havent written an x reader in like an eon LMAO.
summary: carlos de vil tries to deal with a crush and has his first interaction since first seeing her. (alternate title: jay is an amazing wingman.)
word count: roughly 900 words
A red ball bounced off the wall of Carlos’ and Jay’s shared dorm. Dude chased after it, tongue sticking out as he panted. When Carlos received the ball back, it’d been completely soaked in dog slobber, earning a disgusted groan from him.
“Ugh, Dude.”
“What? I don’t have hands for paws!” The Brussels Griffon retorted.
Carlos rolled his eyes and turned over to Jay, who’d recently set up a little punching bag for training. It’s all he ever came to the room to do besides sleeping.
“What am I gonna do, man? Do you think she even likes me?” Carlos had recently taken a sudden interest in a girl that’d passed by him in the Great Hall… flowing dark hair, elegant clothes (she actually managed to make the uniform look good), and her face. God, her face. Carlos could stare at her for days. She’s seriously all he’d been thinking about.
“Chillax, she probably doesn’t even know your name.” Jay realized what he’d said and stopped hitting the punching bag for a second to look at his woeful friend, “Or… she does! And she’s curious about you too!” He tried to keep his spirits high and uplifting, surprising behavior for the guy if Carlos was being honest.
“I’m doomed.”
“Just talk to her, you coward!” Dude yipped, beady black eyes piercing into Carlos’ own. “You need to get to know her name first before you start thinking way ahead, you know?!”
Jay cut in, “Wait, you don’t even know her name?!” He cackled, running his both hands through his hair in amusement.
“Shut up! Oh my, God!” Carlos threw a pillow towards Jay, hiding his face behind his hands.
“It’s pathetic. Really!” Dude barked out, making biscuits on the pillow Carlos threw at Jay.
Carlos turned to his side, facing the wall. He hugged himself tightly, crossing his arms over his chest for comfort. He brought his knees down, letting his legs hang from the foot of the bed.
It didn’t take a while for Jay to finally take pity on him. He sat beside Carlos on his bed, muscular arms resting behind his back. “Sounds to me you really… like her.” If it wasn’t any more obvious. Jay snickered to himself. “What if I lend you a hand?”
At that, Carlos immediately shot up. “What?! What’re you going to do?! Talk to her?!”
“No, you idiot! You’re talking to her.” Jay said with a smug smile. Carlos wasn’t too fond of the idea, what if he messed up? What if the wrong words slipped out? Everything and anything could go wrong!
“No. No! I can’t! She’ll hate me!”
“Carlos.” Jay pulled Carlos to face him, hands gripping his shoulders, his eyes dug deep into Carlos’ own, staring back intensely at two circles of brown. “Man. The hell. Up.”
The other let out an exasperated groan, pulling away from Jay’s grip to let himself fall back flat on the bed.
It shouldn’t have been that hard, right? Jay had already given Carlos a set of questions he can start off with, scribbled messily on the palm of his hand. So the conversation can go smoothly from there.
He turned to look at Jay who hid in a potted plant not too far behind, an earpiece tucked under his long hair. Carlos also wore an earpiece, a lot more visible than Jay’s but it shouldn’t matter.
Jay gave Carlos an assuring thumbs up signal as he ducked down in the leaves.
Carlos took a deep breath, raising a fist to knock against a dorm room, when suddenly it swung open violently, revealing you. The De Vil boy had nothing to say, words getting stuck in his throat.
You both continued to stare at each other before you finally broke the awkward silence. “Uh, can I… help you?” You asked tentatively, fixing your hair at the sight of a visitor.
“Ah- Y-Yes! Uhh…” Carlos swallowed a large lump in his throat, eyes darting back and forth towards a large potted plant and the girl that stood before him. Her. “I’ve… I’m sure I’ve seen you around before, I never c-caught your name though.” He finally spoke, peaking not-so-discretely at his palm.
You gave him your name uncertainly, “And you are…”
“C—“
You cut him off abruptly with a snap of your fingers, “Carlos De Vil! Yeah, I’ve heard of you.”
Carlos winced, “What have you heard about me exactly?”
“Oh, uh…” You hesitated in answering, fidgeting with your fingers, “Not much. You play Tourney right? You’re on the team?” Carlos lit up at the mention of the sport.
“Yeah, yeah! I play! Do- Do you?”
“Um, they don’t allow girls on the team.” You smiled sheepishly and god, did Carlos almost faint on the spot.
“Right…”
“Is that it?”
Carlos paused, dusting his clothes off and straightening up. “Yeah- That’s- That’s all.”
You tilted your head to the side in curiosity, as if waiting for Carlos to say more, but you shrugged and closed the door behind you, excusing yourself. “It was nice talking to you. Bye.”
You shot him a grin, and you could swear his cheeks started turning pink. A giggle only left your lips as you walked past the boy and a mysterious potted plant that suspiciously had a familiar beanie thrown over it. But you paid no mind and strolled away. Cute.
requests are open!!

Mal x Reader X Evie
Mal, Evie, and Y/N stood at the edge of the forest surrounding Auradon Prep, the trees casting long shadows in the late afternoon sun. The trio had formed an inseparable bond since their arrival at the prestigious school, brought together by their shared pasts and a mutual understanding of one another’s struggles.
Mal, daughter of Maleficent, was the unspoken leader of their group. With her purple hair and fierce attitude, she commanded attention wherever she went. Evie, daughter of the Evil Queen, was her perfect counterpart—graceful, intelligent, and with a sense of style that was unmatched. And then there was Y/N, the daughter of Oogie Boogie, whose masculine presence and confident demeanor completed their dynamic. Her short-cropped hair and rugged attire set her apart, yet her soft-spoken nature revealed a depth of character that only her closest friends and lovers understood.
Their relationship was unconventional, but it worked for them. They found solace and strength in each other, creating a safe space where they could truly be themselves. As the evening approached, they had decided to escape the pressures of Auradon Prep for a few hours, retreating to their secret hideout in the woods.
"Finally, some peace and quiet," Mal sighed, sinking onto a fallen log and stretching out her legs. "Sometimes this place is just too much."
Evie sat down beside her, nodding in agreement. "I know what you mean. It’s like they expect us to be perfect all the time. It’s exhausting."
Y/N, standing nearby with her hands in her pockets, looked out at the dense forest. "Yeah, but at least we have each other," she said, her voice steady and reassuring. "No matter what happens, we face it together."
Mal smiled, reaching out to take Y/N’s hand and pulling her down to sit with them. "You always know what to say, Y/N."
Y/N grinned, a rare but genuine expression that lit up her face. "It’s because I’ve got the two of you. You make it easy."
They sat in comfortable silence for a while, simply enjoying each other’s company and the tranquility of their surroundings. The forest had become their sanctuary, a place where they could shed the expectations of Auradon and simply be themselves.
Eventually, Evie broke the silence, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "So, who’s up for a little adventure? We could explore deeper into the forest. I’ve heard there’s a hidden waterfall somewhere around here."
Mal’s eyes lit up with excitement. "I’m in. What about you, Y/N?"
Y/N shrugged, a playful smirk tugging at her lips. "Sure, why not? It’s not like we have anywhere else to be."
With that, the three of them set off into the forest, laughing and joking as they went. The deeper they ventured, the denser the trees became, their leaves forming a thick canopy overhead. Sunlight filtered through in patches, casting dappled patterns on the forest floor.
As they walked, Y/N couldn’t help but feel a sense of contentment wash over her. Despite the challenges they faced at Auradon Prep, moments like this made it all worth it. She glanced over at Mal and Evie, their faces lit up with joy and excitement, and felt a surge of affection for them both.
After about an hour of hiking, they finally reached the waterfall. It was more breathtaking than they had imagined, a cascade of water tumbling down into a crystal-clear pool below. The sound of the rushing water filled the air, creating a soothing symphony that drowned out the rest of the world.
"This is amazing," Evie breathed, her eyes wide with wonder.
Mal nodded in agreement, her usual tough exterior softened by the beauty of the scene before them. "Yeah, it really is."
Y/N smiled, feeling a sense of pride that they had found this hidden gem together. "Come on, let’s go check it out."
They made their way down to the edge of the pool, where the water was cool and refreshing. Mal kicked off her boots and dipped her toes in, sighing in contentment. Evie followed suit, her laughter ringing out as she splashed water at Y/N.
Y/N chuckled, quickly shedding her own boots and rolling up her pants before stepping into the water. It was cold, but invigorating, and she couldn’t help but laugh as Mal and Evie continued to splash each other.
For a while, they played in the water, their laughter echoing off the surrounding rocks. It was moments like this that reminded them of the simple joys in life, and how fortunate they were to have found each other.
Eventually, they settled down on a large rock near the edge of the pool, letting the sun warm their skin as they dried off. Mal leaned back against Y/N, her head resting on her shoulder, while Evie nestled against Y/N’s other side.
"This is perfect," Evie murmured, her eyes half-closed in contentment.
"Yeah, it is," Y/N agreed, wrapping her arms around both girls. "I wouldn’t trade this for anything."
Mal smiled, her eyes shining with affection. "Neither would I. We’re stronger together, and nothing can change that."
They sat there for a long time, basking in the warmth of the sun and the comfort of each other’s presence. As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the forest, they knew it was time to head back to Auradon Prep. But they did so with lighter hearts, knowing they had each other to lean on.
As they made their way back through the forest, hand in hand, they felt a renewed sense of purpose. No matter what challenges lay ahead, they would face them together, united by their love and their unbreakable bond.
Back at Auradon Prep, the atmosphere was as bustling as ever. Students were scattered across the campus, engaged in various activities and socializing. The trio returned with a sense of tranquility, the serenity of the forest still lingering in their hearts.
As they approached their dorm, they were greeted by Carlos and Jay, who were lounging on the steps. "Hey, where’ve you guys been?" Carlos asked, his curiosity piqued.
"Just out exploring," Mal replied with a shrug. "Needed a break from all the craziness here."
Jay grinned, nudging Carlos. "Sounds like you guys had fun. Wish we could’ve joined you."
"Maybe next time," Y/N said with a smile. "But right now, we’re all about relaxing and recharging."
They headed inside, retreating to their shared common room. Mal flopped onto the couch, stretching out with a satisfied sigh. Evie settled beside her, pulling out a sketchbook and pencil to capture the memory of the waterfall. Y/N stood by the window, looking out at the campus with a thoughtful expression.
"It’s weird, isn’t it?" Y/N mused aloud. "How different our lives are now compared to back on the Isle."
Mal nodded, her gaze distant. "Yeah, but I wouldn’t change it. We’ve come so far, and we’re doing things our parents never dreamed of."
Evie smiled, glancing up from her sketch. "And we’re making a difference. We’re showing everyone that we’re more than our parents’ legacies."
Y/N turned to face them, her expression resolute. "We’re writing our own stories. And we’re doing it together."
Their words hung in the air, a testament to their journey and the bond that had formed between them. They had faced countless challenges, but they had also discovered their own strength and resilience. And with each other by their sides, they knew they could overcome anything.
As the evening wore on, they settled into a comfortable routine. Mal and Evie worked on their respective projects, while Y/N read a book she had borrowed from the library. The tranquility of their hideout in the forest had followed them back to Auradon, creating a bubble of peace amidst the chaos of school life.
Eventually, they all decided to call it a night. Mal and Evie headed to their shared room, while Y/N lingered for a moment, looking out at the night sky. The stars were bright, twinkling like diamonds against the velvet backdrop.
Y/N smiled to herself, feeling a sense of gratitude for the life they had built together. It wasn’t always easy, but it was worth it. With Mal and Evie by her side, she knew she could face anything the world threw at her.
With that thought, she turned and headed to her own room, ready to face whatever challenges tomorrow would bring. And as she drifted off to sleep, her dreams were filled with visions of the waterfall, the laughter of her friends, and the unbreakable bond that held them together.

𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐖𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞
↳ includes headcanons for mike & his alters, zoey, alejandro, and duncan
↳ warnings: total drama type violence
↳ song: heat waves—glass animals
masterlist!
𝐌𝐢𝐤𝐞
• He is the most sweetest boy to date ever
• Looks at you like you're the sun to his moon
• He loves to surprise you by hugging you from behind and squeezing. Durring a challenge or otherwise
• Big on cuddling. He's so used to having so many people around him constantly with his alters and all, but physically touch has always been hard. So those moments where he can just sit down and chill with you is like heaven
• Give him a kiss and he'll stop functioning all together. A complete and total mess over you, and is so happy that you feel the same way
• Isn't big on using pet names himself, but swoons when you call him babe or anything like that
• Has a talk in the head space with everyone to make sure they're all okay with him dating you. You were actually the one to suggest he do that, wanting to make sure all of him was okay with this
• Mike's not very jealous, either. Something you appreciate. He trusts you unbelievable amounts and isn't one for confrontation, so situations are normally diffused pretty quickly
𝐒𝐯𝐞𝐭𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐚
• She is constantly wanting to impress you
• "Love! Look at vhat I can do!" Svetlana called out, balancing on top of the cabins roof with a perfect pirouette. You just clapped from below, cheering her on happily
• "Way to go!"
• Calls you her little flower <3
• If you're up for it, her ideal way to spend time together is to go on a little run. Or any sort of physical activity, really
• Complains that she never gets any time with you in between challenges and the others fronting, so the two of you make do with what time you have. Which normally ends up being really sweet moments
• Her favorite place to kiss you is on your nose, often times giggling in the process
• Getting possessive of you isn't her strong suit. She prefers to just hold your hand while you counter any advances, kissing you on the cheek gleefully as you walk away later
𝐕𝐢𝐭𝐨
• He was so surprised when his flirting actually worked for once
• That doesn't mean he stopped, but at least now he could say he's flirting with his partner and not someone he met five minutes ago
• Much like Svetlana, he spends a lot of his time trying to impress you with things. Albeit not his acrobatic abilities
• "I think my muscles grew overnight babe! What do you think?" He grinned, flexing for you boastfuly and completely missing the way you struggled to keep in a laugh
• Uses pet names for you nonstop. Babe, sugar, sexy, etc. Although you could argue that the last one is less of a pet name and Vito just being Vito
• Jealousy isn't as common a theme with Vito as much as insecurity is. He's always a little bit worried you'll see someone buffer or more tan than him and leave. So you have to reassure him occasionally that you love him for who he is
• His favorite place to kiss you is your lips. It's not anything new, but he can't get enough. Most of the times you have to tap out just so you can breathe while Vito watches on, smug as ever
• "Yeah, I did that to em. Who's the man? Vitos the ma— ow! Okay okay I'll shut up."
𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐚
• Aside from Vito, he was the first to make a move on you
• Mike was too nervous and Svetlana hadn't really met you yet, so he took it into his own hands to start something up
• Once you're in a relationship, he will never stop giving you trinkets. They could be from a gift shop, or one of his little adventures. It doesn't matter. He loves bringing you things for you to keep either way. And seeing them sitting on your desk or bed later just makes his heart swell
• Makes up the most bizarre phrases all the time to hear your laugh
• Constanly has an arm around your shoulder head or waist. Very touchy feely. Likes to keep you close to him in case anything happens
• You'll find him tipping his hat your way and winking at you, just to see your neck turn red
• Favorite place to kiss you is on your head/hairline. Doesn't matter if you're taller or shorter than him. He'll find a way
• Doesn't get jealous easily, but that's mostly because he's so sure of himself and his ability to woo you. Manitoba knows he's lucky to have you though, and won't hesitate to step in if things go too far
𝐌𝐚𝐥
• You have no idea how you managed to snag this man
• Didn't even know he liked you back. Or knew that you even existed, for that matter. One morning you just woke up and were suddenly his partner
• Mal isn't really into physical affection as much as the others. The only time he touches you is when he's being territorial—something that happens a lot. Duncan barely looked at you once and he almost bit the punks head off
• Sometimes you'll forget you're even dating him until he monotonely compliments you out of the blue
• His favorite place to kiss you is your neck. He's got a possessive side to him, and loves to see the dark marks he leaves behind. Finds it even more enjoyable when you and the other alters freak out over them
• Will not put up with any nicknames you give him, but insists on calling you doll face and toots. Doesn't matter what your gender is. That's final
• Loves you in his own weird way
𝐙𝐨𝐞𝐲
• She is so stoked to finally be dating you, oh my god
• The sweetest and most nervous thing ever—much like that season four scene where she was fretting if her flower was too much, she'll worry over your relationship constantly. Is she giving you enough attention? Making you feel loved enough? Was that gift she left you the other day alright?
• Will not stop worrying until you assure her that she's just fine. It's that, or you'll have to pull her in for a kiss. That works too
• Gets really flustered when she catches you staring at her lovingly. She feels like she should be the one doing that, not the other way around
• Kisses all over you!! She will just pepper them across your face all day unless you stop her
• Always looking out for your back durring challenges. And if something ever happens, she's by your side in an instant
𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐣𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐨
• Was so persistent at taking you out on a date
• Genuinely liked you and wanted to get to know you more than just as another competitor, so he asked you out
• Smiled the brightest he ever had when you accepted
• Play with his hair please, dear lord. You're the only person allowed to touch his precious locks, but he loves when you do. Could lie with his head in your lap twenty four seven, falling asleep to the feeling of your fingers against his scalp
• Anytime someone else flirts with you, he'll just smoothly slide up next to you and pull you into a deep kiss until they've been scared off. Hasn't failed yet
• Your temple is his favorite place to kiss you, though. It feels so intimate to him compared to anything else
• Will say the sweetest things to you in his mother tounge. And if you don't speak Spanish, he will happily translate them for you
𝐃𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐚𝐧
• He is in so much denial about you at first
• Of course he doesn't like you. Why would he! You're only the funniest, most unpredictable person he knows; who manages to make him at ease everytime he's around you
• Doesn't even care if Courney gets pissy at him for dating you. She can suck it as far as he cares
• Calls you babe so much. Like, he fits it into every sentence
• "Babe, could you hand me that?"
• "Nice going babe!"
• "Mind turning off the lights for me babe?"
• Has fun letting you dye his mowhawk green. You're always the first person he asks for when it starts to loose it color, looking forward to a night of goofing off over hair dye
• Duncan definitely carved both your names inside a heart on a tree at the island. Didn't even tell you about it. Knowing it was there was good enough for him
• Let's you wear his spikes when you ask. Calls you punk as fuck when you do <3

some things are meant to be private // descendants
req? yes
summary: the four VKs with a gn s/o who isn’t big on pda
format: headcanons
carlos
he’s at first was surprised by the difference of you around people and alone, but got used to it quickly
was a bit scared that you were embarrassed of being seen with a VK but was very happy when he found out you’re just not into PDA
people didn’t notice you’re in a relationship at first because of the the lack of PDA but after Jay walked in on you two cuddling, everyone knew
likes to go on walks with you and just hold your hand while you both talk about your days
loves when you kiss his freckles, it makes him feel special. returns the favor by kissing all over your neck and sometimes leaves marks (until jay points it out)
Jay
didn’t realize you didn’t like PDA so he constantly had his arm around your shoulders until you told him to stop
once y’all have a conversation about it he’s fine with it, but still forgets sometimes before remembering again
loves getting to hold you once you’re alone, seeing it as some sort of reward for the both of you
the occasional chance that you hold his hand while walking to class is HEAVEN for this guy, he loves getting to show you off to people once in a while, but still cherishes the time you spend alone together much more
Evie
just like the others it takes a bit for her to get used to it but starts to cherish the moments alone with you more than she ever would with the ones in front of people
absolutely adores the amount of affection she receives from you and tries to replicate the exact amount
the other VKs didn’t think you were dating because they thought y’all would be super public until you both fell asleep cuddling on a couch
kisses all over your face and jokes about having you leave the lipstick marks on for fun
Mal
is actually glad your relationship isn’t super public
happy to receive so much affection but is a bit confused by the contrast at first
adores cuddling and kissing in her room away from people
tried to use her magic to erase Chads memory when he walked in on you two sleeping but begrudgingly didn’t when you told her that’s too far
once in a while you hold hands while walking to class, just so other people don’t think something happened to your relationship
note: this took a lot less time than i thought it would :3 i didn’t know if the ask wanted headcanons or scenarios so i just went with these 🫶🏻

☣︎ Maybe I'll add a part two sometime with Vito, Cody and Scott but for now damn that was exhausting
[𝚂𝙿𝙸𝙽 𝚃𝙷𝙴 𝙱𝙾𝚃𝚃𝙻𝙴]
Summary: The losers play spin the bottle + aftermath ☢︎ | Total Drama | ~4,5k words | gender-neutral reader ♡ | Mike | Mal | Noah ⚠ | swears | making out | cliche much and using Heather as a plot device? | god I can't write, it's so cheesy
[𝙸𝚗𝚝𝚛𝚘]
⚠ | setting: Total Drama Island AU
Most of the people who joined Total Drama have already been eliminated, and so were you. You didn't mind though, as you got to enjoy the positive side of losing - Playa Des Losers.
It was a lazy evening, most of the folks were busy doing their thing, but you were getting kinda bored.
You thought you were doomed with the boredom of yours, until you heard Chris McLean's voice through the speaker.
"Hey happy campers! Guess what. Do you want to win some money, even as a loser?" Were the words you caught.
Some contestants turned their heads towards the source of the sound.
"That's right!" He exclaimed. "You know how on TV there's always some fun hanging out time scenes between the contestants? Well you seem to lack at your job so I'm here to fix it!"
You slightly rolled your eyes at his words. You were a bit of a social anxiety filled loner, but he doesn't have to point that out.
"If you wanna earn a few additional bucks when going home, a measly $100, you're gonna have to play spin the bottle!"
You noticed some gasps, laughs and confused looks from the other people.
You thought the idea is a bit childish, but free 100 bucks is 100 bucks, so you didn't plan to turn down that idea. You were already a loser, so why not get the extra money?
All of the willingly participating contestants joined a shared space near the pool in a small gathering.
You sat down somewhere as well, awaiting further instructions.
Chris instructed for someone to take the bottle and spin it.
"Heather!" He shouted, making the girl turn her head towards the speaker. "You're gonna start! Spin the bottle and give a dare to a fellow loser."
She exhaled through her teeth, making a little "psh." noise.
"Alright."
Her hand twisted the bottle and sent it into a whirl.
"Hey, Chris!" Heather shouted before asking a question. "You want some bonding time, huh?"
Finally the bottle chose it's victim - to your surprise - it wasn't you.
"Yeah?" Chris's voice echoed around, a bit curious.
You were unsure what Heather had prepared, but you knew it wouldn't be anything easy.
"Well then, since Y/N arrived not too long ago, and I observed them hanging around a particular someone recently, why not pull them closer together?" She had a smug smirk on her face, which made you quite worried now.
"Kiss Y/N." Her finger pointed at you.
[𝙼𝚒𝚔𝚎]
"Wh- Wha-" Mike lost balance and nearly fell from the chair he was sitting on as he processed the dare.
You also reacted with a subtle and baffled gasp bordering on"wha-".
"But- What? Why? I can't do that, what if Y/N doesn't want to?" He quickly bombarded her with questions, a bit embarrassed he had to discuss this in front of you.
"Then they'll have to take away your chance at the money." She assumed, innocently shrugging her shoulders.
Upon hearing the dare, Chris once again joined into the convo through the speakers.
"Oh, I forgot to mention, both participants get the 100 bucks to share if they fulfill their dare. Fifty-fifty each." He elaborated.
"And no forcing fellow contestants if they don't want to do the dare. That's not cool, dudes." He felt the need to add that last part, especially for TV.
Mike looked at you with anxious puppy eyes, uncomfortable with the idea that Heather came up with.
You froze a bit.
How could Heather figure out you had a sweet spot for Mike?
You thought you weren't that obvious, Mike never commented on it.
You blinked twice before returning the gaze at him.
"Eh- I don't know if- If you wanna do that, Y/N?" Mike started to sweat a little.
You felt the rising anxiety inside you, was Mike gonna comment anything on Heather's comment?
"I mean, I'd never want to make you uncomfy-" He trailed off a bit before you cut him off.
"Um, no- I mean- I-" You noticed you started to babble so you finally just said the most appropriate response you could think of at the moment with a nervous grin. "Sure, let's get the money."
You could see a bit of Mike dying inside after he heard your approval.
Mike got up from his seat, slowly coming towards you with his hands close to his chest, fidgeting slightly.
You awaited your "doom", feeling as if the time became slower.
All of the losers' eyes were on you both, expecting something to happen.
He met your gaze once he was close enough to you.
You stared at him, trying to keep a straight face and not disclose what was going through your head at the moment.
"Alright then- I'll, uh, start-" He said meekly, nearing closer to your face.
You started looking at his red cheeks until a kiss took you by a surprise.
You were fully expecting a kiss on the lips, but instead you felt it on your cheek.
Guess you shouldn't be greedy.
Mike immediately backed out after he was done, but not too fast so you'd think he finds you particularly repulsive.
You felt the corners of your lips turn into a bashful smile that you couldn't control.
You felt kind of stupid when your first kiss with him was because of Heather, though. You hoped it didn't scare Mike too much.
Mike had one as well, albeit much more worried than yours.
You noticed him hurry back to his place, with his face still subtly red.
[AFTERMATH]
After the whole thing was over and everyone went their separate ways, you tried to find Mike.
You didn't want to leave on an awkward note and you wanted to explain some things. You decided it was time to.
You spotted Mike helping himself near the snackbar, away from other people.
You didn't know whether he wanted to be left alone or not, but you approached anyway.
Mike immediately turned his head as he heard you clearing your throat.
"O-Oh, Y/N, hey!" He greeted you with a slightly nervous, yet still kind grin.
"Oh no, they're here-"
"Hey Mike." You politely reciprocated, trying not to panic inside.
"Okay, calm down. They only came to talk. Maybe- Maybe it's not about that kiss?"
"Um... What's up?" He also tried his best so the situation wouldn't be awkward.
"So... The bottle thing." You gently started, stopping for a moment to regain your thoughts on the topic which were being drowned in your worries.
"They are gonna talk about that kiss. No, no, no, no-"
His face changed for a second into a look of doubt and anxiety which was quickly covered with a smile.
"...Yeah? What about it?" He quietly gulped.
"Well- I- Hope this doesn't- You know." You felt as if your mouth forbid you from forming proper sentences.
"Y-Yeah, me too- It was-" He felt himself being tongue-tied as well.
"It was what, Mike? Nice? You can't say that!"
You and Mike shut up as soon as you realized you're both just as hopeless.
After a moment of silence, you finally heard a pathetic and tense chuckle coming his way.
You were about to panic even more, thinking he's laughing at you, but the thought that he was as nervous as you prevented you from doing that.
"Honesty is the best way to go, right? Just be normal for once."
"Sorry. Guess it got to me more than I thought." He finally admitted without beating around the bush. "I- I don't want you to think I'm a weirdo because of that, though."
"What? No-" You quickly denied that, making him visibly less worried.
"I-" Words yet again got stuck in your throat, which started to piss you off a little. Mike could do nothing but listen intently to what you were about to say.
"I-If you promise to also not think I'm a weird for what I'm about to say, then-" You tried to put on a confident facade as you started fidgeting with your hands a little.
"Of course not!" Mike quickly chimed in, now even more desperate to hear your response. "I promise."
You knew if you screw this up, it'd be game over. The words finally flew out of you.
"I- kinda hoped you'd aim for the lips."
You saw Mike freeze the moment he processed what was being said to him.
"Aim for the lips."
You broke him. The four words were floating in his head, covering every free space in it.
You remained tense and quiet, dreading each second he didn't reply.
Finally he got to his senses and slightly shaked his head.
"I- I'm sorry, it just took me by a surprise-" He couldn't cover the red that was on his face after that info. "Usually people try to get away from me, you know?"
It was your turn to let out the meek chuckle that was forming in the back of your throat.
"Yeah- Well- Not me." You admitted.
"U-unless you want me to-?" Anxiety got a hold of you once again.
"N-no!" He tensed up once more, slightly reaching out his hand towards you as if you were about to run away.
Until he realized his reaction was a bit too much.
"I mean-" He instead quickly scratched the back of his head with the hand that he extended prematurely. "Y-You can stay."
"I- I hope they're being honest."
He waited a second before speaking once more, leaving you with anticipation.
"...You can even- come closer, if you'd like."
You noticed the familiar, sweet toothy grin that was coated with an unhealthy dose of worry and hesitation.
You took a step forward, making Mike subtly cower.
"...Yea?" Shy but reassuring smile appeared on your face.
You didn't fully realize how tall he was before you stepped closer. Usually it wasn't a problem to look him in the eyes, but because of the close proximity you had to move your head up to face him.
If his focus wasn't entirely on you now, Mike's second worry would be his profuse sweating.
"Well- Um- Y-You won't get money for it, but if you're still interested, I could..." If it wasn't for your very close distance, you'd almost miss Mike's murmur.
Fortunately, you managed to catch it all.
With this reassurance, you reached out your hands so they could hold Mike's face.
You felt his cheeks getting even hotter with your touch.
Smooch.
You heard a surprised half whimper and gasp come out of him as soon as your lips touched.
He looked at you like a deer in the headlights as you pulled away from the kiss, knowing he already lost the battle with his face showing all the emotions coursing thru him.
"You know, that 'pay-off' is enough for me."
[𝙼𝚊𝚕]
Mal was sitting in the corner, the only indication that he participated in the game was his place near the pool.
Not too long ago he was sulking about his recent "unfair" elimination from the show he planned to win and so he was extra grumpy from the moment he arrived.
He almost stopped paying attention to whatever unimportant was happening until he noticed the bottle pick him.
"Kiss Y/N." He heard Heather's dare.
"What am I, fucking 14?" He bluntly spat out his annoyance at the childish topic.
"This is a family friendly show, Mal. Language!" Chris had to beep out Mal's profanity for sure.
You just sat there, frozen with the implications of the dare and what Mal might possibly think about what Heather said now.
Mal obnoxiously rolled his eyes, as to show his irritation further.
Suddenly you felt his piercing gaze sizing you up.
It made you tense.
"Y/N sure seems to act out their crush like a teenager. Make a move already, sweetie." Heather mocked you with the audacity of sounding like she doesn't even care about it.
She couldn't actually have a clue about you actually being interested in Mal, though.
She disliked Mal as much as Alejandro, knowing he's a proper rival to her, and with your "fascination" with him, you were more inclined to hang around him.
You were just in a "wrong place at a wrong time" and she wanted to make a jab at him.
"Well, Y/N, are you 'above 14' and up for it?" Chris dared to joke as he waited for your response.
"Uh- Yeah- Okay." You nodded while saying, albeit a bit quietly from the shock that was still in your mind.
Mal sighed dramatically as he so gracefully got up his butt to slither your way.
His walk was careless but still arrogant, matching his opinion about the topic.
He looked at you from above as you were still sitting on your place.
His face got closer as he bent to whisper in your ear.
"You really up for it?" He asked with a mix of "i don't care" as well as some not so subtle mocking and teasing grin. "With me?"
You avoided looking at his eyes to not betray too much, although you were sure that if Mal weren't conveniently casting a shadow on your face with his, he'd be able to see your blush.
"Yes." You managed to spit out, hoping that your attempts at being casual worked. "...For the cash righ-"
You tried to explain yourself further so he wouldn't take you for a pining weirdo, but you were promptly stopped by his lips touching yours.
You yelped quietly as he pulled you into a deeper kiss that you were not prepared for at all, grabbing your chin.
Mal wanted to make a show and so he did, much to everyone's surprise.
Heather's eyebrows even raised in shock, but they were nothing compared to yours.
After a not so steamy make-out, he finally backed off, leaving you with a need to process what happened.
"Oh, what a terrible fate. Truly embarrassing. Get a grip." He made a disgusted face at Heather, leading the point further with how stupid the idea was.
Mal was above the silly dare and so he didn't make a fuss about it.
He just wanted to shock people for his own amusement, per usual.
And maybe even subtly express his anger at people trying to make kissing him out of all people a "terrible fate".
He moved back to the place he was sitting on before, leaving you with a memory of the situation burned into your brain.
[AFTERMATH]
He was always good at reading people - skill he had to develop due to his upbringing.
So he didn't really worry about being in the wrong in the situation.
The smug brat knew you were into him, seeing your behavior around him.
After the game was over and everyone had fulfilled their dares, he approached you when you were least expecting it.
"Hey, lovebird." You heard the voice you knew too well, from someone you wanted to avoid for the moment.
Mal noticed your visible flinch as he went up to you from behind and chuckled under his breath.
"Not so happy to see me now?" He gazed at you while crossing his arms with cocky amusement. "I thought you enjoyed yourself not too long ago."
You had to wait a moment before the words could properly formulate in your mouth. You were baffled that he had the audacity to taunt you with it so casually.
Mal waited out your silence with an eye roll.
"Come on, I don't have all day." He impatiently hurried you, making you regain your voice.
"I-" You had trouble looking him in the eye after what happened.
"I am- not displeased by seeing you." You nailed it.
(No you didn't.)
"That's a step in the right direction." He concluded and dared to show you a mocking smirk, stepping closer. "But how about you admit that you're very happy to see me?"
His shameless cockiness and nonchalance thrown you off a little. You weren't sure if he was playing a cruel joke on you .
You decided to turn the question on him, somewhat smoothly.
"Well- It seems you are. Why else would you come to see me?" You replied with fake confidence, hoping it'd fool him.
Mal only chuckled at your attempt at being cool.
"Well, I can't deny I've been thinking about you." He once again managed to shut you up with a shit eating grin.
You remained silent for a longer second, obviously not knowing what to respond.
"You seem very speechless today, dear." He raised his brow amused, he was clearly thriving on making you uncomfortable.
"Don't get me wrong, it's adorable. But a conversation is a two way street, you know?" He was becoming bolder the more he saw you squirm.
"You don't really give me easy things to respond to, you know." A bit of truth escaped from you. He got you.
"Oh, I'm very well aware." He grinned and tilted his head confidently. The way he was staring at you made you feel very small. "What's wrong? Too afraid to say something?"
"Did you really come here only to make me feel stupid, or-" You tried to remain casual, but a bit of anxiety managed to fall into your response.
"Oh, the fun part of seeing you all shy and stumbling over your words is just a plus." He exhaled with amusement. "Besides, you don't need me to think you're stupid, you're doing a good enough job all on your own."
You furrowed your brows a little. So you were right. He was just making fun of you?
Mal rolled his eyes. You obviously weren't reacting how he wanted you to, but he wasn't about to give up.
"Why don't you just be honest for once? You seem awfully tense for such a simple conversation." He pushed your limits a bit, testing what made your nerves tick.
You sighed with both frustration and hopelessness.
Your mind was too preoccupied with thinking what a fool you were potentially making of yourself, you didn't even realize how many signs Mal was giving you. In his own way.
"... Okay." You started to gain some courage to finally speak up.
"There we go." The corner of his mouth curved into a sly smirk for a moment. He seemed pleased with his success, but made no move to make his intentions clearer.
In fact, his expression changed from smug to an impatiently raised brow, daring you to make the next move.
"Yes, I am into you." You finally decided to stop stalling and say the obvious. You tried your best to hide your embarrassment and fear of rejection on your face, which made Mal's eyes flash with curiosity and something else.
Mal looked pleasantly shocked for a moment, but quickly regained his composure and the smug expression came back.
"Finally, someone's not afraid of saying it." He paused for maximum dramatic effect, as if he'd been waiting for this moment. After the pause he leaned in close, bringing his face close to yours.
When the tension was highest between you two, he abruptly backed away and smirked at him again.
"You'll have to do better than admitting you're into me, though." He once again tested you.
"Huh- What else do you expect me to say?" You turned your head slightly, a bit dumbfounded by the demand.
"Oh, you don't have to say anything." He then took you by the waist, making you squirm a little by the sudden contact.
"You could always express yourself with actions…" He smiled devilishly, his brown eyes never leaving yours. He kept his hands resting on you, enjoying how awkward and nervous he made you.
Your face was undeniably at least a bit red by how quick it all went down.
Nonetheless, you wouldn't forgive yourself if you screwed this up when the fate gave you a chance to kiss your object of affection twice.
[𝙽𝚘𝚊𝚑]
"...What?" He stared at Heather with his skeptically raised eyebrow, which was conveying more so confusion and bafflement at this point.
You couldn't help but look at Heather the same, except with even more surprise.
"No hard feelings Noah, I don't care." She "lightheartedly" said. "But Y/N here..."
You knew Heather would start picking at you sooner or later.
You didn't really have a good relationship with her, and few days ago she seriously started to piss you off.
You had a little altercation before all of this but you didn't really think it was something to dwell on.
Apparently Heather thought the opposite.
Noah's face stayed the same until his expression softened into something else, but was promptly changed back.
"Wow. Really mature." He discarded her attempt at clowning on both of you.
"Well, dare's a dare, ain't it?" She repeated the rules of the game, shrugging carelessly.
He took a long and hesitant sigh as he lazily made way towards you.
You followed his moves with your eyes, finally meeting his as your gaze landed on his face.
"...Eh-" He stopped for a moment, cringing internally. "So- You okay with proceeding?"
"Yeah-" You nodded, sensing the awkward atmosphere.
Noah didn't make much effort to blow the kiss out of proportion.
He just smooched your lips in a quick manner and then, without a word, moved to his seat.
You tried to copy his demeanor towards the situation, not making a big deal out of what happened.
Your eyes wandered around the place after, but you managed to catch a glimpse of Owen playfully nudging Noah and letting out a silly giggle.
[AFTERMATH]
You couldn't bear the thought of the tense note you left off with Noah.
You felt immense second-hand cringe for Noah, who visibly didn't want to end up in the situation.
Even though it was a dare both of you accepted, you didn't want him to associate you with a gross memory.
So you gathered all of your confidence to go talk to him.
You noticed him reading a book somewhere in a secluded place.
You thought it's normal, since most people prefer peace and quiet while reading, but you also knew Noah was able to read just fine around other people to, if he wanted to.
You weren't about to question him about that, though.
He was deeply focused on his book, so when he heard you clearing his throat, you noticed some alarms going off in his brain as he saw you.
"Hey-" You awkwardly started.
He subtly stopped himself for a moment, grabbing his book and putting it down so that he'd show his attention is on you.
"Hey." He reciprocated your greeting, responding flatly but not maliciously.
You were a bit lost with how to start, so you just talked on the spot.
"So like, I know we don't really talk, but I just wanted to make sure that it's not, uh, weird between us because of Heather's immaturity." You explained as best as you could.
It was true, you and him weren't really close, but you also never shown any maliciousness between each other, and you wanted it to stay that way.
He digested your words for a moment as he searched for a proper response.
"I'm not affected by Heather's stupidity. It's not contagious." He summed it up in calm but witty manner. "Why would I be weirded out by an immature dare?"
"Right- That's cool then-" You tensed up slightly, but his response was also a bit relieving.
"... Unless it's you who has a problem?" He asked, raising his brow.
His expression stayed analytical and with a healthy dose of skepticism, but there was also a part of soft insecurity thrown in.
"No, no!" You quickly chased away his allegation.
Both of you once again found yourself in an uncomfortable silence.
You haven't made a peep, but you swear you could hear some quiet and unsurely irritated sigh from Noah as you planned to end this interaction.
Suddenly he opened up his mouth. "Well then, as we established-"
He tried to keep his words as casual as they come, with fear of coming more awkward than he intended te situation to be. "I think we should just, move on, and stop acting like it's a big deal."
"Yeah. You're right." You agreed with a nod, yet still felt a bit blursed about the fact that now you had your crush's attention on you.
"I mean, it's not like it was a first kiss on a school trip." You tried to joke to make the moment lighter.
"...Yeah." Noah's response came off a bit flat, with his movements becoming stiffer, but his expression remained a mystery.
"... It wasn't your first kiss, was it?" You blurted out without thinking over what you're gonna say.
You noticed the surprised and a bit called out face of his.
"Yeah- no way. You're like my fifth one this week." He quickly saved his face as he responded in a sarcastic manner.
You chuckled, although you weren't sure if he's joking or not.
"Wow, okay, sorry, that came off a bit weird of me, huh-" You backed away with your question apologetically.
"Yeah." He responded with the typical dry tone, but you could hear some light amusement from the reply. "Well, if you won't go bragging about it to others, then..."
You felt your face get a bit hotter, were you really his first kiss?
Now you felt a bit bad.
Did he have any regrets??
You had to know.
"Oh- Sorry for- taking that, I guess-" You tried to not dig at the "issue" further but also show that you're sorry, in case he expected that.
He softly smirked in slight amusement at your unsureness.
"It's just a kiss." He reminded you both.
You only chuckled nervously in return.
The moment was broken by a familiar blond-haired boy coming your way in a hurry.
"Noah, I saw Y/N heading your way!" You both heard Owen's voice nearing closer. "Maybe you can finally talk about that kiss-"
You saw Owen's face faltering into surprise and then embarrassment when he saw Noah's face trying to say "quit it" without making a sound around you.
"-Hershey's kiss, that you ate this monday, because, there were some, in the kitchen." He "smoothly" saved the situation and began to slowly retreat.
"Man, I'm hungry- I wonder if there are any left- I'll go check." And so he ran off.
Once again, the tense atmosphere creeped into to your surroundings again.
Noah couldn't help himself but let out a disappointed, given up sigh as he facepalmed.
"...What was that about?" You looked at him questioningly, but not trying to overwhelm him.
"That was my last chance at keeping this conversation not awkward." He cynically replied.
You stopped for a moment, unsure how to proceed.
"Okay, I'll just stop being immature and say it. I like you." Noah mumbled out your way, although he tried to make sure you hear it, his hesitance was obvious.
You were stunned to hear such words leave specifically his mouth, but you were in no mood to complain.
"I like you too." You didn't think much, you just said what's been on your mind in the current state.
You were about to take back your words, afraid of how easily you let on your feelings, but hey, he said it first, right?
"Oh. Wow." Was his only response after a moment.

Noble To The Core- CH. 3
Descendants × Fem! Reader Summary: They finally made it to Auradon.
Prev Chapter
•| ⊱ First Day ⊰ |•
The days seemed to drag on while at the same time, it seemed like nothing could stop moving for Ben. He was running around the school to make sure everything was prepared for the new students. His girlfriend, Audrey, begrudgingly helped him even though she was very vocal about how against this she was.
She wasn't the only one to voice concern. There were plenty of others who tried to sway the prince from doing something so daring and foolish. Yet he didn't back down in the face of it all. There were parents that threatened to unenroll their kids from Auradon if he went through. A number of students went back home or to another well established school to continue their studies.
Even when his supporters were outnumbered by detractors, he stood his ground and sent those five letters.
As much as Audrey loathed the idea of isle people coming here as free people. She had to give credit to Ben for sticking with his plan. Even if she didn't like any of this, she was willing to support Ben if he fully believed in reforming the few "innocent" people of the isle. But if she learns of any wrong doings she'll have those five shipped off back to the isle and make sure that letting someone off the isle will never happen again. She and others would make sure of it.
When the morning of the Isle kids finally came round everything was tense. Even those few who supported Ben's idea were on edge. The school, the people here were always quite loud, bustling with life. Now everyone was almost silent as if everyone were at a funeral and they were mourning while the casket was lowered into the ground. The air was suffocating. It was unbearable to withstand, but Ben told himself that this had to be done.
This was a necessary step to meaning old scars. He knew this wasn't going to be easy or walk in the park. He was hopeful, not senseless as everyone liked to believe. There were many risks taken to build up to this moment and if everything falls apart then he'll gladly take responsibility for his ambition.
"Everything's going to be okay." Audrey whispered as she squeezed his hand. Ben swallowed a lump in his throat. He couldn't fight off the ever growing anxiety that was building up. Noticing how tense everyone else around him wasn't helping either.
Seeing that her words weren't getting through, Audrey whispered to him again. "No matter what happens I'll be here for you. Remember that, Benny." He finally tore his eyes away from the distant view and looked at her with her supportive smile. Her dark brown eyes betrayed her, showcasing the same growing anxiety of her own.
Still that was enough to make him slowly grin. They had different thoughts on this matter, but she'd always support him and that simply made his heart flutter. "You know, with your smile you could be a Charming."
Audrey let out a flustered giggle and playfully slapped his shoulder. "I think you're the real Charming here." Her response only made his smile wider. They gazed at each for a moment before the band started playing. The sudden noise made them both nearly jump out of their skin.
There were two carriages that came closer. The horses that were pulling the carriages were white as snow and galloped with a refined pride. The carriages matched the elegance of the horses because Ben asked for only the best.
As the carriages came to a stop in front of Ben, the band started to slowly quiet down before going silent. The door swung open and two boys fell out. They were screeching at each other and trying to pull something out of each other's hands.
The screaming alerted the other carriage door to fly open. A [hair color] haired girl jumped out with a frightened expression. She whipped her head to where the ruckus was coming from and her face became more relaxed maybe even relieved. Two other girls emerged from the first carriage and quickly broke up the game of tug of war.
Everyone watched the isle kids in disbelief. They didn't know what to expect, but they didn't expect something like this. Some found it amusing while others found it distasteful. Ben swallowed the urge to let out a chuckle and swiftly took a step forward.
His voice was as sunny as his smile making some of the isle kids grimace. "Welcome to Auradon!" He stood in front of the girl on the far left and held a hand. The [hair color] haired girl looked like a frightened animal when he came close. She didn't look like she wanted to attack or anything, it seemed more like she wanted to run or faint like a possum.
Yet she gathered courage that wasn't sure was there and held his hand. "Thank you for inviting me. I am y/n Vainira." He gave her hand a slight squeeze before letting out. "The pleasure is all mine," He swiftly took a step to the side of y/n to face the next person which was Carlos. He held out his hand to Carlos and said with a dazzling smile, "It's a pleasure to meet all of you really."
The isle boy just nodded his hand with a false smile and said, "I'm Carlos De Vil." Though he didn't show it, the Isle kids could tell how nervous he was by how he forced out his words and stood as stiff as a statue. The prince didn't show that he was perturbed by Carlos' reaction and responded in kind with a nod.
"I am Prince Ben and I welcome you all to my kingdom as well as the school." Evie nearly jumped at his words. When he stood in front of her, she grabbed his hand and shook enthusiastically. "I am Evie Grimhilde, daughter of Evil Queen. It is an honor to meet your majesty." She suddenly let go of his hand and did a quick curtsy and bowed her head.
Mal rolled her eyes, 'Why don't you kiss his shoes while you're at it.' With that Ben went to greet the next person. "Me and my girlfriend, Audrey, will be showing you around the school." When Ben held out his hand to Jay, the isle boy shook his with his left hand and effortlessly forced out a charming smile. "Jay."
Ben waited for Jay to continue, but he didn't. "Jay. Just Jay?" Ben asked mildly perplexed. Some of the files and documents weren't fully filled out. Isle was practically its own nation and the other kingdoms didn't bother with it. The only reason why and how Ben was able to find records of at least most of the respondents was because Auradon was the only kingdom to care about such things. It was quite easy for the other kingdoms to forget about it because they didn't see it outside their window.
Still Ben knew that Jaffair's son file and birth certificate was recorded unlike some. It was odd, though Ben wasn't bothered by it. "Well it's good to have you here Jay." Jay only nodded his head, that charming smile still plastered on his face even after Ben went on to greet the last person.
'How long do I have to smile? My face is starting to hurt already.' Jay thought to himself.
Facing the girl with purple hair Ben said, his voice ever chipper. "And you must be-" She rudely cut him off, "Mal. Just Mal." She shook his hand and quickly pulled her hand away with disgusted expression. He was surprised by how cold her hand was even if they touched for a brief moment. It was like touching snow. Not to mention her complete disinterest bordering on disdain of his presence was interesting to put it mildly.
Watching the prince greet everyone y/n prayed that they could survive at least until dawn and no one would be executed.
"Well just Mal, it's good to have you here today." Mal tried to force out a smile, but it came out more as a sad attempt to cover up her hostility. 'Someone needs to work on their acting,' Jay thought while trying to hold back a laugh.
A girl with long brown hair wrapped her arm around Ben. She quickly looked over the group with an almost accusatory gaze before slipping on a smile. Her voice was as if not more peppy than Ben's. "Really it is wonderful to meet you all. I am Princess Audrey Rose, but everyone just calls me Audrey. Oh and don't worry about your luggage. We'll have people take your stuff to your room."
With that the group was shown around the school. They met some of the saff, students, and even Fair Godmother. Though disappointingly she did not seem to have her wand with her. About halfway through the tour when Ben was showing them the tourney field a water balloon smacked y/n in the back of her head. "Agh!" y/n let out a confused and frustrated sigh.
Everyone turned to her. Jay busted out laughing, "What's got you so blue, y/n?" Confused, the girl touched the back of her head and then looked at her hand. It had blue paint dripping down. Just as Jay asked his question a water balloon filled with green paint slapped the smile off his face. Wiped the green out of his eyes and said with a stern voice, "It was pretty funny when you threw one at dullard. Me? Not so much."
Mal was the next victim and her right shoulder was hit. Bright pink coded her side. After seeing that Jay's smile re-appeared and said to the mysterious water balloon sniper, "Okay, it's pretty funny again." Carlos started booking it across the tourney field and into the woods. Audrey quickly held up her purse to protect her face. While Evie screamed and clung to y/n as a human shield.
Evie yelled to y/n, "Protect me!" Not expecting the sudden weight to be put on her, y/n fell onto her back with Evie on top of her. Evie tried to get back up quickly so that she could use someone else as a human shield, but it was too late. Being perfectly out in the open, Evie's chest was hit by a water balloon. When she looked down at the color, she shrieked, "Brown!? They got pink, blue, and green! But I get brown!? And it's all over my favorite outfit!"
y/n put her thumb and pointer finger together to feel the paint. The paint was rather thick. "I think this might be acrylic." Evie looked down at the girl still laying in the grass and asked, "Can I wash it out of my clothes?" She had a desperate and pleading look in her eyes that y/n never seen before. y/n hate to say, but Evie asked. "It's impossible to get out."
After hearing that Evie went back to screaming and throwing a justified tantrum. While Jay laughed at the whole thing.
Ben had already made it to where the water balloons were being thrown. It was just from a tree not too far or too close to them. The prince took a deep breath before shaking the tree. It took a few shakes, but eventually a boy fell down. The boy had a basket of water balloons that all fell on him. Making him a rainbow mess laying on the grass.
"I knew I should have had someone keep an eye on you, Percy." Ben hissed to himself. Everything was going perfectly. "You- I just can't believe- I'm speechless, Percy. You always know how to leave me speechless." The boy called Percy groaned. "Okay, sure whatever. But this wasn't even my idea!"
"No. It may have not been your idea, but you still did it."
Percy desperately tried to defend himself, "But he's up there too! If you're going to punish me then you better punish Gallagher as well." They both looked up the tree, but no one was there. Percy wanted to scream in frustration. His supposed partner in crime has bailed on him once again.
Ben helped Percy up and told him to apologize to the new students. The boy really didn't have much of a choice and walked with Ben over to the group. Percy grumbled, "You guys don't know how to have fun around here."
"I am so sorry for this happening. Our local self proclaimed prankster thought it would be a funny–" Evie stomped up to the boy. Grinding her teeth, "How dare you! Not only did you terrorize me on my first day, but you also ruined my clothes that I made myself! Do you know how many times I pricked my finger on a needle to make this!? Not a lot, but a few times!"
Not a lot of people have seen Evie so enraged before. Quite frankly, she was scaring y/n a little bit. The girl was kind of aloof at least to y/n. The worst insults would be hurled at her and she'd just shrug it off. She's been mad before, y/n had witnessed it multiple times, but never such rage. Even Ben didn't want to get into it until Evie was done with her screaming ranting.
Percy didn't seem fazed by the reaction. More bored than anything else. He seemed grateful to finally leave when Ben explained what they'd do next. "I'll Percy to the principal and Avery will show you your rooms so you can all get cleaned up. Right?" Ben looked at the girl and sighed to herself before putting on a smile. "Right. I'll take you to your rooms."
"What about Carlos? He ran into the woods." y/n question with an anxious expression. "We'll have people look for him. He'll be back here before you know it." Hearing Ben's explanation, y/n decided to trust him. Jay added, "And if we don't find a body then we can just tell his mom that he's been adopted by a pack of wild dogs."
"Jay!" y/n squeaked out in horror.
"There aren't any wild dogs, wolves, or even bears around or near the school. He'll be fine I assure you." Ben tried his best to reassure the girl. She thought it over quickly before accepting his words with a slight nod. "Yeah, there's no need to get your undies in a twist. The only thing you'd have to worry about is Carlos touching poison ivy. Or maybe eating it."
y/n rolled eyes at Jay's remark and slightly pouted. "Carlos is smart enough to not start eating random greenery." The isle kids all seemed to stop and think about y/n's statement for a moment. Mal spoke up, "Does he even know what poison ivy is?"
Getting a bit antsy Audrey reminded them that she was here by making a loud 'ahem'. Once everyone was looking at her, she said, "Well, just follow me and I will show you to your room." The group followed the girl back into the school. All of sudden she came to a stop and called someone over. A scrawny boy with glass came over to them with some hesitation. He wasn't hiding his fear well.
Audrey pulled him over by the arm and shoved a paper into his hands before turning around to face the group. "This is Dough, he'll be showing you to your rooms. Say hi, Dough." Dough swallowed and gave a barely audible hello. After that Audrey told him good luck and scurried off down the hall.
Dough stared at the group with unhidden fear until Mal snapped him out of his frozen state. "Hey, aren't you supposed to take us to our rooms?" He stammered a bit before looking at the map Audrey gave him. "Y-Yes. Of course. This way." They made a stop at the boy’s dormitory since it was the closest to them and dropped off Jay.
When they went to the girl’s dormitory and stopped in front of a door. Dough explained that Mal and y/n would be staying there while Evie will be rooming with another student. Mal became tense and clenched her fists.
"I'm not staying in the room as-" Mal quickly stopped herself from calling y/n a name, but she couldn't help herself from insulting the girl in some way. So she slyly added with a hiss, "Right, Vv? We’re just better off away from each other." y/n's slightly frowned and furrowed her eyebrows at the nickname before she turned to Doug.
Any and all traces of annoyance were gone from her face as if nothing had happened. "I'm fine sharing a room with anyone." Her voice was light and the small resurging smile she gave Doug made Mal sicker. Mal rolled her eyes while thinking, 'Two-faced.'
Unsure of what to do under Mal's glare, Doug decided that one change wouldn't wouldn't hurt. "Ah, well- I'll show you to your room Miss. Vainira. I’ll carry your suitcase to your new room." Doug's voice held an anxiousness that made Mal smirk. The two went further down the hallway and y/n said, "You can just call me y/n. There isn't a need to be so formal with me."
Mal's smirk reverted back to a scowl at hearing y/n's voice. She could just hear and see the small smile y/n wore. She never liked y/n's smile. Even after all these years she's only begun hoping for y/n's downfall. It seemed like Harry was y/n's downfall. Mal had actually begun to search for y/n after hearing about the break up. Hoping to see that pitiful expression. Maybe y/n would even grovel at her feet and beg to back with her group. That moment would be sweeter than any sugar and Mal would savor that moment. Laughing in the girl's face.
Alas that fantasy never becomes reality. y/n was nowhere to be found and Mal knew better than to go snooping around the Vainira house. Even when they were leaving the y/n acted all the same. Her smile didn't falter when she was pushed to ride with their luggage. It was quite frustrating. "Fake as ever, I'm sure she'll fit right in here." Mal muttered to Evie before entering their new room.

Okay, hear me out
Total Drama fanfic where the reader is dating Mike and the alters (minus Chester) and it's really just the series + the reader
I haven't written anything like this so it'd definitely be a challenge... I think I'd probably replace a character or make her a surprise character (honestly, I might replace Anne Maria out of everyone simply because I don't want her near my man🔫)
Imagine all the cute scenes oh my god ??
Vito fronting and immediately looking for his babe aghagha
Mani holding onto her waist so she doesn't wander off and get hurt while in the caves AAAAA
Svetlana helping reader with challenges so she can show off ❤
MIKE BEING A SWEETHEART AND FREAKING OUT OVER HER KISSING HIM
Mal being a sour puss about not being able to love on the reader like everyone else can, so the second he is finally able to, he runs off to find her and will literally not keep his greedy paws off her. He tries to play it off as being Mike, but reader knows her baby well and he's never this assertive... Suspicious hmmmm
And no I will not be doing that "erasing the alters" bs I hate it SO MUCH. WHY IS THAT CANON
#so giddy i could puke lowkey#and of course i'll be using zoey as an object of conflict#it isn't a total drama fanfic without drama#sorry love these guys#total drama#Total Drama: Revenge of the island#total drama x reader#total drama revenge of the island x reader#mike x reader#mal x reader#svetlana x reader#manitoba x reader#vito x reader

Prologue 2 : Childhood Memories Of a Young Heart
Descendants x male Oc (you can read it as a self-insert if you want).
Master List
Next Chapter | Prev Chapter
TW: None Word Count : 2.7k
A/N: WELCOME, THE DAY HAS FINALLY COME. Sorry not sorry but like life just came and made me inactive sorry <3. Now here is the next prologue, the next chapter will be the start! In this story Eli and the other VKs are still kids and this is how they all met, and some foreshadowing in the group dynamics. HOPE YALL ENJOY!
AGAIN, NOT PROOF READ. if there is any mistakes or like just things that are confusing. Please forgive me for this is just my early days of writing, also if you notice a like change of past or just vibes at the ending parts. That is because thats when i came back to continue this chapter. ANYWAYS JUST ENJOY PLZ.
“Do you know who your father is, Eli?” A boy with white hair and black roots asked Eli. Carlos was his name, ever since Eli could remember he was with him. Being neighbors did make them closer than the other kids in the alley.
Today was a gloomy day at the isle, it wasn’t that different from most days; and like any other day Eli dragged Carlos with him to find something to do in the isle. There they passed countless people laying in the streets with just mere boxes and metal sheets sheltering them, going under the hazardly built complex of the buildings in the isle and passing the people who worked almost everyday.
“Why ask?” Eli replied and looked back at him.
our voices were so high pitched back then. We both were in our daily garments with patches of fabrics that covered out past activities that left holes, in the isle it was rare to have multiple sets of clothing.
“I was wondering since..” Carlos continued while he walked closer to Eli “I asked my mom who my dad was last night!” He whispered only loud enough for them to hear
“Who is he?” Eli whispered back, they both now stood blocking the middle of the walkway.
Carlos gave Eli a frown in return. He looked at the ground before answering him with another whisper “Mom just told me to stop asking and to never ask the same question ever again. and made me sleep early...”.
“So you don’t know?”
“Well…yeah..”
“well..” Eli was trying to think of a way to cheer him up a bit, then a memory came to mind. It was when he tried asking my mom the same thing. “Well my dad is a monster! So it's fine if you don’t know yours...”
The old nanny that came with mom to the isle told me this story. I tried asking mom and she just looked terrified when I did. The nanny then grabbed me and left my mom in the room and told me the story of how my mother was kidnaped by an evil monster alone and then left her with me by her side. It wasn’t until I grew older that I was finally told the truth, again making sure my mom was out of sight when the nanny told me the truth.
“A monster?” Carlos looked at Eli with a confused look. “Yeah!”
“So your…your half monster?” Carlos asked with a confused smirk
“I think? Is that how it works?”
It was laughable how little we knew back then; still kids. In a place we didn’t even know was that bad since we didn’t even know any other place than the isle.
He started to laugh, Eli cheered him up with his cluelessness. They would then continue exploring the isle, looking through crevices they found with fungi growing in them, Abandoned buildings that collapsed in itself, and the bustling space of merchants.
As they strolled down the streets they saw two girls. One had jet black hair like the roots of Carlos the other had navy blue hair. They seemed to be arguing over something.
“Mal I think we’re lost…” The bluenette said to the ravenette. “Relax, Eve! I know the way back.”
Even as kids, Mal was always so stubborn; yet was still with Evie. Those two even back then were inseparable. Be it for better or worse. Huh.. I just noticed that nickname Mal gives her, Eve. Didn’t know that even back then she called her that.
“A-are you sure? It's getting dark soon…” Evie asked Mal, they were holding hands the entire time. With Evie now tugging at her to make Mal look at her.
“I-...I’m sure Eve..I-” Before the ravenette can continue Carlos interjected and asked them. “Are you both lost?”
The bluenette noticed the boy and was thankful that someone was there, that might even be able to help them. “Yes, please help us. We-". "No we’re not.” said the raven haired girl that now has an unpleasant face.
“It's obvious you are.” Eli said, finally showing his presence and walking to stand next to Carlos. “We can help you, I’m Carlos by the way, I'm Cruella's Son! We're used to these parts of the isle so we can help you easily!”
“You can? Oh what a lucky princess I am! Two brave knights came to save us Mal!” The bluenette was filled with joy with the response from Carlos. Mal was still there being stubborn and not even facing both Eli and Carlos.
“You’re a Princess?!” Carlos was in awe, but it's not like it was new to him. Eli was also royalty in his eyes. “Oh I am! I am Evie, Daughter of the Evil Queen!” She introduced herself. Evie now looked at the ravenette and nudged her elbow a bit, but she wasn’t budging. “This is Mal. She’s a close friend of mine and the daughter of the great Maleficent!”
“And you are?” Mal then asked in a still annoyed tone, she was aiming the question to Eli. “Eli. Son of the Mad Queen of Hearts.” Evie gasped, “You’re royalty too?!”
“Hmmm I think?” Eli responded. He thought more deeply into this. “Carlos, am I a prince?”
Both Evie and Carlos answered with a loud yeah.
Mal, now getting more irritated, made a grunt for attention “Are you going to start helping us or not?”. “Where are you both heading then?” Carlos asked Evie so they could help them.
Now that I think about it. I think Mal got irritated about how close Me, Carlos, and Evie were starting to get. She was always so protective of her. I think she also got more irritated because of how close Evie was getting to Me. Which was stupid to be honest.
After a while of going through the alleyways and pathways towards their way home, Carlos and Eli were able to guide Mal and Evie back. Carlos himself was actually seemingly wanting to get closer to Evie, but Mal would always be a barrier between the two.
The entire time they were walking home, it was getting darker and closer to dusk. The sun was already down low in the horizon but they didn’t even notice that for the heart of the isle was filled with claustrophobic building complexes. They only noticed how it was getting darker and darker signaling the time of night.
However Mal was still apprehensive with the two, she was more irritated by Carlos and him trying to get closer with Evie but was suspicious of Eli’s quiet observing nature; he was behind them when walking back but didn’t talk much other than joining in a bit of conversations. She didn’t like how quiet he was.
“I’d forever be grateful for this! And I’m even more glad that I got to meet another royal!” Evie said with her high pitched voice while giving Eli a smile, even when it was now getting night time and was visibly looking tired; she still kept up her imagined image of a princess.
“It was nothing really…” Carlos blabbered with a blush on his face visible, he clearly has a crush on her. “It was nice making new friends.” Eli stated back.
It's so weird looking back and seeing Carlos having a crush on Evie, now they’re relationship is nothing more than brother and sister. I bet if I ever tell Evie that Carlos had a crush on her back then, he would be so embarrassed and ashamed. Bet Mal never forgot though, I wonder how she feels about Carlos now.
The lights were dimming, soon they would find themselves below the stars. “It's time for us to go Carlos.” Eli told him. Mal would then scout Carlos towards Eli and away from Evie as she did she said “It's night now at this point. You two should head back home.”. “O-Oh…I didn’t notice it was this late now…” Carlos looked up at the fog polluted skies. “Come on Carlos.” Eli grabbed him and started heading back home.
“Ah- WAIT.” Carlos tried to stop Eli from dragging him a bit. “GOODBYE EVIE! BYE MAL!” he screamed since he wanted to say farewell but couldn’t stop Eli from making him go. “GOODBYE SHINING KNIGHTS!” Evie waved back towards Carlos and Eli who were about to turn into an alleyway where they would last see them for the night. Mal on the other hand was thankful they left, sure they helped her. But they also irritated her a lot.
The streets were dark and littered with men and women, some were drinking, some were talking, most were smoking. It wasn’t really a child friendly place to be in, but by some miracle. Eli and Carlos were able to get home safely.
Albeit with a long scolding by Eli’s mom Mary. Carlos was supposed to go to his home but Cruella, his mom, wasn’t home yet. She would work day by day sewing and tailoring for the people of the isle. It was the only way she could earn a living and raise her only child, both her and Mary would sometimes switch responsibilities in taking care of the children when the old nanny wasn’t around.
After the punishment of kneeling on the floor for a long period of time given to them, Eli and Carlos got to bed. They shared a room in cases like this. Eli would sleep on his bed while Carlos would sleep on the spare mattress, if Cruella was taking care of them. It would be vice versa but in Carlos' room.
Carlos asked Eli while looking at the ceiling thinking back to the girls they met. “Do you think they're cute? Evie and Mal I mean…” There was a period of silence. Eli was contemplating about his answer
“I don’t have much of an interest in them if i'm being honest…They’re nice, well Evie seems to be. But nothing much of note rather than Evie being a princess like me.” Eli answered back now looking towards Carlos from his bed.
“Ever since we met, you never thought of girls as being cute…why?” Carlos asked him not maliciously but just curiously, Eli chuckled. “It’s simple, I don’t see them as that. I find other boys to be much more appealing!”.
Now this was a big lie, in fact. When I was younger, I never found any other boy to be appealing. The taller more mature men though, now that was what I found appealing even at that age.
“Huh... .Am I cute?” Carlos asked him.
“In a scared little kitty way, yeah!” Eli answered him with a smile while cuddled up with his pillow and blanket.
“...” Carlos looked away from him and remained silent.
“Carlos?” Eli called.
“...”
That was the first ever time I got the silent treatment from him. He may be soft and just little back then, but he took such pride in being a ‘man’ as he would say back then. Even when I grow older like now, I still find that stupid.
PANG!....
It was early in the morning, the moon hadn't even set yet. However Eli and him being a light sleeper woke up to noise coming from the kitchen. He looked over at his side and saw Carlos wasn’t there now. Cruella must have brought him home after she came back from her job.
PONG!...
He heard it again, more noise from the kitchen. It sounded like falling metal things, like the pots and pans used for cooking. It was attached to some doors at the kitchen cabinets so he wondered if it fell because it was recklessly opened.
He got out of bed to check what was happening downstairs, was it his mother?
When he got there, he found a tan skinned boy going through the cabins of the kitchen with food wrappings scattered at the floor alongside the crumbs. Some notable silverware was gone missing and supposedly now in the boy’s pockets.
“When robbing someone, shouldn’t it be done quietly?” Eli was able to grab the burglar’s attention. The balancing act he was doing while going through the cabin vanished for he was startled, causing him to fall into the floor.
“Wow…” Eli was surprised how clumsy this boy was.
The boy had dark brunette hair that was reaching his shoulders while wearing red, even as he laid on the floor Eli could tell he was taller than him. It was silent after that. The boy eyed him, he couldn’t think of what to do now.
As protection, Eli bent down to grab one of the cooking pans that fell. Even as his burglar seemed clumsy and a meat head, he wanted to have a way to protect himself.
“..Why aren’t you screaming…” The boy asked him as he sat up from the floor looking up at him.
“‘Cause you're a kid.” Eli answered simply, he pointed the pan at the boy’s face and continued “If you were an adult I wouldn’t have even spoken and ran to my mom.”
“..Are you not scared of me?” He asked.
“No. You’re a child, not much to fear than your idiocy.” He told him. Food crumbs were still visible on the boy’s mouth. “If you were hungry my mom would have fed you out of pity. Now while I’m still merciful, give back those things you stole. Now.”
“..Fine…..” The boy stood up and grabbed all the spoons and such from his pockets and dumped them to the sink. “I said back to where you stole them. Not. The. Sink.” Eli was ready to strike the boy’s face with the pan, even as the boy stood a few inches taller than him.
As the boy fled and grabbed all of it and placed it back to their rightful place Eli was noticing him more. With a more muscular form than normal, tanned skin, scruffy attire. He guessed he was from the morning merchants area not far from here. Maybe he was a laborer, some unfortunate kids in the isle are forced and made to work for whatever reason the adults had. Maybe financial aid, familial businesses, or so on.
He wasn’t that bad, “What's your name?” Eli asked him when he finished. “...are you not going to tell on me?” the boy asked him, he was worried since he was caught if he was gonna be punished. “I’m a merciful kid. Now, what is your name child?” Eli questioned him back with a condescending smirk and his cooking pan now resting on his shoulder.
“Jay. Call me Jay.” He answered back. “Well nice to meet you Jay, quite the first impression huh?” Eli showed his free hand to shake.
“What's yours?” Jay asked him. He seemed less shaken and worried now by his voice, he grabbed Eli’s hand.
Eli shook his hand and smiled at him “Eli. You can call me Eli.”
Jay had a blush when hearing the name, Eli didn’t seem to notice. “Are we friends then?” he asked
“Maybe. You have to prove to me you’re worthy though, the first impression of you being a burglar isn’t exactly helping you.” Jay smiled for it was his first time gaining a friend, one he thought was as cute as Eli.
It wasn’t that surprising that Jay and I dated once we got older, now looking back at it. That day seems more crazy as it was the first time I met other kids that I like other than Carlos. My first time meeting Mal and Evie, alongside Jay. Now look at us, we’re on our way out of the isle, going to this school we haven’t heard off since just this morning.
Mal and Evie are still quite close together, but with Mal tolerating us more. Carlos was still like a little brother to me, but now he wasn’t as quiet and shy as back then. Then there is Jay, possibly the one that knows me the best out of everyone.
It was nice when we dated, even when it hurt to break it off. Becoming and then staying friends with him was the right choice, though I am happy that I got to experience what I was like to be with him at the time. I’m sure he does too, his one of the best mistakes I ever made. Now, he is one of my closest friends.
As I stare out of this Car window, I can see the clear blue skies outside. We’ve reached Auradon and have left the isle. It's beautiful, I hate it.
An : Did you guys like it? So I tried doing a mix of 2nd and 3rd person, if you can’t tell. The initialization of paragraphs like here in the end, this is all Eli’s Monologue. Also just in case Y'all also didn’t get it, the entire chapter is just Eli reminiscing about the first time he met every other VKs! PLEASE LIKE IT, IM SORRY I’VE BEEN GONE I HOPE YALL ENJOY THIS.

Crafting Their Own World - Y/n and Mal create a world of their own within the chaos of the Isle. They find abandoned spots to retreat to, decorating them with stolen items or graffiti, turning these places into secret sanctuaries where they can escape the harsh reality of their environment.
Rivalry with the Gang - Y/n often gets caught in the rivalry between Mal’s gang and Uma’s crew. While Mal initially tries to keep him out of it, Y/n insists on being involved, leading to tense standoffs and daring missions that test their relationship but ultimately bring them closer.
Dangerous Adventures - The couple thrives on the thrill of danger, often embarking on risky adventures that other Isle kids wouldn’t dare to try. Whether it’s sneaking into forbidden zones or challenging authority, they share a mutual love for the adrenaline rush that comes with living on the edge.
Learning from Each Other - Mal teaches Y/n how to be more ruthless and cunning, while Y/n shows Mal the value of subtlety and creativity in their schemes. They’re constantly learning and adapting from each other’s strengths, making them a formidable team both in and out of conflict.
A Shared Sense of Humor - Amid the darkness of the Isle, Y/n and Mal find solace in their shared sense of humor. They often joke about their enemies, make light of their dire situations, and playfully mock each other, finding laughter to be their best weapon against the Isle's harshness.
