Hello, and welcome to the Blog!

The place where practically all MakoRukkha content on Tumblr started! (i checked the MakoRukkha tag, theres literally nothing there, we are literally the only ones writing for it goddamn—)

My friend and I literally came up with this crackship on Discord and, after large amounts of time going insane about it there, decided to go "fuck it, we ball" and made a Tumblr for it!

This is a place for the two of us to brainrot about the ship and hope that you come to enjoy and brainrot with us as well! We make content when we can, be it art or writing, and generally just do it for funsies. This is quite literally just a crackship that we made with no lore backing or evidence (unless were fucking delusional and the dendro + electro reaction DOES have lore backing because wtf thats so weird and sus, also khaenriah is possibly underneath sumeru so tHERES A CHANCE MAKO CAME TO SUMERU TO HELP RUKKHA—)

We're very normal about this ship.

If you ever feel shy about sending in asks about our AUs and the ship, please don't be! I get it, it's incredibly nerve wracking to send asks and the stuff like that. We won't get sick of it, we promise! We'd love to have some attention and interaction with the community, especially about this ship because honestly, it just feels like the two of us in our little gremlin corner AHAHA— We won't get sick of it, and it won't come off as annoying or demanding because with the amount of shilling I'm doing right now, I'm pretty sure that I'm the demanding one AHAHA—

This is the main post containing all the main and relevant MakoRukkha content, and also just a summary and starting point on where to jump off about the AUs and the content we make about the ship and the world we made about it

Makoto adopts Scara / Modern AU Summary:

Set in present/modern times, we translated what happened in Genshin's actual story and lore about Ei's abuse and neglect of Scaramouche into a more parent/child dynamic. Unlike actual lore though, Makoto is very much alive and sees the abuse that Ei is putting Scaramouche through. After an argument that Makoto wins, she successfully adopts him and takes him away from her where the two begin a new life without Ei. In their new life and neighborhood, Makoto begins to catch up with old childhood friend Rukkhadevata which eventually blooms into a beautiful romance and a new family.

Makoto Lives AU Summary:

Instead of dying in the cataclysm / Khaenriah, Makoto instead returns alive but terribly weakened to the point of having a comatose. Distraught over her sister's condition and in lack of a Shogun to rule over Inazuma, Ei creates Scaramouche, who is at this point nameless, as both a replacement for Makoto as Shogun and as a helper/caretaker of the comatose Makoto. But due to her conflict with his role as both a replacement for Makoto and her caretaker, he was banished/hidden away along with her sister in Tatarasuna where Scaramouche, still nameless, cares for her for the many years she's comatose. After waking up and spending time with the people of Tatarasuna, Makoto discovers the horrible job Ei has done ruling over Inazuma, and resolves to do something about it.

SpiderMakoto AU Summary:

While the AU is named "SpiderMakoto", it would still make sense for it to be called the "Genshin X Marvel AU" but, we chose to call it the "SpiderMakoto AU" due to the fact that it started off as a Spidersona for Makoto. The beginning is similar to the Modern AU, the twins live together with Yae, Ei's partner, and Kabukimono, Ei's child. The inciting incident here is, instead of having an argument with Ei and winning, Makoto instead gets into an electrical accident with a spiderbite. She is then comatose for a number of years, wherein she slowly changes and mutates into having the signature abilities of the Spidermen along with her own electrical twist on it.
