Nakageno Week 2023 - Day 6 [Idol AU]

literaly lost my mind drawing this, the 1am air killed me but anyways heres's some headcanons for the idols within:

Maki:

Visual and Soft Vocals

Famous for his pretty eyes and his constant state of 'what is going on'

Gets accused of being lazy all the time

Literally clueless half the time, Akki or Kai would have to guide him through everything like a baby

They still love him though (painful parental love)

Fans love him because he's just there to look pretty and be treated like a princess (real)

Akki:

Sunshine Main Dancer

Surprisingly dances very well but always made fun of for having 50+ allergies and 60 records of hospitalisation due to said allergies

Everyone also loves him

Just so cute overall

Sometimes says the most out of pocket eyebrow-raising stuff with the most innocent smile ever and no one knows if he knew full well what he's saying or if he's actually innocent

Gets into the most random scandals ever ('Have you heard about the rumour where Akki blew up an island?' 'What')

Anya:

Power vocals (Would fit in a rock band)

His fans are so masochistic and down bad I'm telling you ('kick me glare at me STEP ON ME' yknow yknow)

Has the most god awfully basic fashion style

Always frowning because he's tired

Ongoing joke in the fandom where 'you know they're singing live on stage if Anya looks angry when singing'

Can and will engage with physical violence towards Zak all the time (cats and dogs fr)(Kai and Akki has to step in)

Surprisingly never got into a scandal

Kaikoku

Smooth and deep vocals

Because of his tone and his overall aura he always gets mistaken to be flirting when he is just being nice

As a result he gets into so many dating scandals with literally the most random people ever

Mature and never shy to reveal his skin, his fans are so well fed they want him to cover up more

Acts suspiciously sometimes only to reveal that he's just doing it for the wellbeing of his members without them knowing

90% of the time he's wearing a mask because he's insecure about the scar on his lips, his fans adores the little scar though

Dresses so modestly to the point it would be 500 degrees out there and he's bundled like he's going to Antartica

His fans are like victorian men, just revealing half of his face for the first time got the entire fandom in shambles, now imagine his ankles or just the tiniest bit of his wrist

So basically as the same as normal except for when someone hates him for accidentally charming their partner Makino uses up him word limit to roast the hell outta the asshole. Plus all his favorite video/audio edits and AMV have this song ^

In english dub it would be 81 words in sum but if you make it Japanese (full vocab):

It makes 89 which means Makino would slow down or stop at it either way. He wouldn't have to add anything more because the jerk would be scared to say anything more and the partner would run after them.

Makino is tired of random people loving him instead of his family just like in canon.

Himiko, Anya, Yuzu, Karin, Makino x gn!reader dating headcanons fluff

-Himiko is very shy about all things romance. Hand holding could cause her to become flustered and embarrassed and pull away from you.

-A big fan of cuddles. She loves when you both get a blanket and cuddle under it. She likes being near you and the added warmth makes her fall asleep.

-Prefers to be the little spoon as well. She likes being held because it makes her feel safe.

-She loves going to pet shelters to see the animals and if they allow it, she'll take them out to play with them as well.

-Himiko loves when you listen to her talk about a recent game she's been playing or even about anything! It makes her feel so loved and happy.

-Anya hates the idea of being teased about being in a relationship. He gets visibly annoyed and debates about lashing out about it but he holds his tongue.

-He likes when you are sitting next to him while he plays games. He doesn't mind if it's while he is streaming or not, he just wants you to be there.

-Since he has insomnia, he sometimes uses it as an excuse to have you sleep beside him (even when he takes his meds). He doesn't mind being the little or big spoon as well.

-He has a hard time with romance and often finds himself struggling to do things a normal couple would do since he isn't often interested in being super romantic.

-You both have such a slowburn relationship because he often denied his feelings towards you and couldn't come up with how to deal with them but as long as you're patient with him, you won't regret it.

-Yuzu is the most forward someone could get. She loves taking pictures of and with you as well. Not a day goes by where she hasn't taken at least 5 pictures.

-She loves to do puzzles with you as well. The ones where you both can work together on it is the ones she prefers to play when you're around.

-She loves going to the movies with you as well. It's always a fun outing for the both of you espesially since she normally lets you pick the movie.

-Yuzu hates the rain. She always will jokingly complain when it rains because she doesn't want to her hair to get all puffy from the humidity.

-She often will ask you to give her shoulders a massage because they get stiff quite easily and she also really likes it.

-Karin likes to play the piano for you and will learn your favorite song so she can play it for you whenever you ask.

-She hates when you manage to take her to a haunted house during Halloween. She gets freaked out and ends up clinging to your arm the whole time.

-Depending on the horror game she's playing, she might have you there with her as her mental support in case she gets scared.

-Karin says she doesn't like when you call her nicknames but her red face tells you otherwise so you continue to call her them.

-She's defiantly the little spoon when it comes to cuddling but she doesn't mind holding you if you need it.

-Your relationship with Makino is as slow burn as it can get. You both don't make any moves on each other at all. You both just do small gestures that could be seen as a romantic thing but it flies over his head mostly.

-You both take a lot of naps together. You both could be in the middle of something and if one of you falls asleep, the other soon will as well.

-Cuddling will include you both holding each other rather than spooning and his cat will normally come sit by one of you and nap too.

-It's hard for you two to go on dates because Makino will often fall asleep even if he's having fun or enjoying it.

-He likes to kiss your forehead before he goes to sleep and this normally happens if you fall asleep before him.

In which Makino has fallen in love with his classmate Akatsuki, who doesn't quite return his feelings the same way... and somewhere, in the back of his mind, Makino thinks it would have been too good to be true if, just this once, someone loved him the same way he loves them.

Day 2: Crossover / YouTuber

Kaikoku, who also happened to be there, intervenes when Makino and Chiaki fell asleep while doing a stream together

Tried to come up with YouTuber names for these characters since they didn't really get one in canon (Chiaki isn't even canonly a YouTuber lol)

Apologies in advance since

1. I have 0 JP knowledge, both the language and the behavior of YouTubers & its fanbase there

2. There may already be YouTubers with these names and I didnt know :')

Gouji (ゴージ) - Makino

This was meant to be a pun on 五 ("go") which means "5" & 王子 ("ouji") which means "prince"

The "5" references his 5-second stare that can charm anybody lol

Nananemu (7ねむ) - Nanami

The "7" is because the 七 ("nana") part of her name means seven

While "Nemu" can mean "sleep / drowsiness"

Onikai (鬼カイ) - Kaikoku

I think it'd be funny if he's the type to be uncreative with names so this is basically the "oni" part of his family name combined with the "kai" of his first name

Also he already kinda uses "oni" as part of his brand so I feel it'd make sense he'd include it in his username

MARSHROOM - Zakuro

Meant to combine "marshmallow" & "mushroom"

Not much explanation here other than mushrooms are often associated with him wheeze

But "marsh" in itself is a type of terrain, which can be fitting for someone who plays stealth-type of games maybe

Sakusaki (サクサキ) - Sakura

Both 咲 ("Saku") & 咲希 ("Saki") have "bloom" as part of their meanings

"Saku" was derived from her name "Sakura"

Ichineko (1猫) - Ichiya

一 ("Ichi"), which is also a part of Ichiya's name, means "one"

While 猫 ("Neko") means "cat," and it's there to reference his role as Carmine, who's associated with a cat mask

Tamagohan (タマゴハン) - Himiko

This was meant to be a pun on 卵 ("tamago") which means "egg" & ご飯 ("gohan") which means "rice"

Not much to explain here other than this references Himiko loving tamagoyaki & that she was called a "rice god" at one point

(I know these characters playing tetris doesn't make much sense but I wanted to throw in some easter eggs 😂)
