Some of the guilt lingers. In the end, leaving that match with their first victory, he still couldn’t turn back to look at the one he’d slighted. If Kiyomine and Kaname were two faces he wished he’d never have to see again, Makita was another. It wasn’t that he’d done anything to Chihaya. In fact, it was the opposite. He hasn’t made up for dismissing Makita’s efforts yet. That chance will come when they play in the summer tournament—is what Chihaya finds himself hoping. He knows the second year Kirishima is their starting pitcher, but he also knows that Makita wouldn’t just accept that. He’d challenged them, after all. I won’t lose next time, he’d said. Chihaya just wasn’t expecting to hear from him again until they faced off in the tournament.

Makichi Haruhara is an Ultimate Criminologist and they are fusion of Shuichi Saihara (Ultimate Detective) + Maki Harukawa (Ultimate Assassin).

Criminology ran in their family, so they picked it up mostly as a hobby when they were young. It as clear from then that they were talented, and so their talent was cultivated.

They work on a great number of different cases to tap into the ethics and motivations, maybe draft a couple potential policy changes due to the specific situations.

They don’t like talking about themself at all, but they don’t mind listening to their friends talk about themselves. Though they would rather just spend quiet time with other people.

Sometimes they can seem unapproachable because they tend to glare a lot. This is the intended effect; they don’t like people they don’t know well interacting with them for no reason.

They aren’t afraid of looking at harder cases. There actually isn’t much they’re afraid of anymore, not after the kind of cases they’d seen before attending Hope’s Peak.

He wants to feel Todo’s hair between his fingers and poke fun at him for bleaching it to a crisp. He wants to feel Todo’s body, made strong through dedicated training. He wants more than to have to make do with imagining these things when he lays in bed at night by himself, trying to fall asleep without Todo’s warmth pressed against him. He just wants. He picks up the bottle and pours a stream of crystal clear liquid into the tiny glass he’d found somewhere in the back of a cabinet, crinkling his nose as the sharp, sweet smell hits him. It’s even stronger on his tongue.
