you are more than a capable sorcerer. in fact, you are one of the strongest in the field.

however, like anyone else, there are some moments where things get a little out of hand, and you come back bearing a rather long slash on your left arm.

but since it’s pretty late, you decided you will bother shoko about it in the morning. that is how you’re finally in your home, with satoru nowhere to be found.

you frown lightly at the fact that he is still out there fighting curses, but a part of you feels relieved that you don’t have to explain your situation right now.

the night should pass by smoothly, and you will go to shoko tomorrow: a fool-proof plan!

so you do what you can to sanitize the wound, and cover it until you can get it treated properly. you also take the chance to indulge in your favorite snack as a good job treat.

after finishing your food and tidying up for the day, you’re finally in bed, all-cozied up and avoiding anything touching your wound as much as possible.

a deep breathe in, a deep breathe out, and you slowly drift to sleep.

not much time passes before satoru’s familiar footsteps echo throughout the house.

your husband has an abundance of energy.

but it seemed like today’s missions have drained him a bit more than normal, so he skips eating anything and heads straight to your shared bedroom.

his heart softens, and his muscles relax upon the sight of you tucked in bed. he walks to press a small kiss on your forehead, quickly changing into his pajamas and settling right by your side.

he stretches a bit and turns to spoon you as per usual, eyes closing in contentment.

but you wince, even if adeptly, and it sends alarms ringing through his head.

he jerks up, and his hand is instantly placed on your arm again, softly. there is an ever so faint change in your expression as your eyebrows furrow, and he has never pulled his hand away so fast.

he keeps debating in his head whether to wake you up or not, but he swiftly settles for the former.

he needs to know what happened. so he, regrettably, nudges your sleepy form, “y/n?”

you groan, but, nonetheless, you reply, “…what?”

while satoru often likes to base theatrics around his every move and phrase, but he also knows when to get straight to the point, “did you get hurt on today’s mission?”

you’re no longer half-asleep, and you quickly sit up, eyeing your husband. knowing there is no escape nor denial, you fidget with your fingers and nod slowly.

then you hurriedly utter, “but I was going to see shoko first thing in the morning; I promise!”

he nods slowly, holding your hands in his own. you’re left to look him in the eyes. satoru’s eyes being exposed makes him feel so vulnerable, or at least that’s how he is with you.

you can see every wrinkle, and every crease; you can see what he is thinking about in real time. he has long given up hiding anything from you, and, besides, it feels fresh to just let go.

but right now, as you look into his eyes, you see them swarming with confliction, pain, and worry.

he doesn’t scold you about not going right now because he knows that you will tell him that you either thought it wasn’t a big deal or that you didn’t want to bother shoko with it.

instead, he settles on a hushed whisper of “can I see it?”

you throw him a confused look, “why? I am getting it treated tomorrow anyway,” then you smile, “it’s not going to permanent if that’s what you’re worried about.”

he shakes his head, “it’s not that; I just—“ he takes a deep breath then looks at you pleadingly, “just let me see it.”

perhaps it’s to silence his thoughts and to show him that you’re truly okay, as okay as you can be.

you’re still alive, and that’s what matters, he thinks. nevertheless, he feels the need to see just how serious is the wound anyway.

reluctantly, you slowly take off your jacket to reveal the poorly bandaged gash on your arm.

he looks up at you, asking for permission because even if he needs to see it for his own selfish reasons, he has to put you above anything and everything else.

you nod, giving the free reign to slowly take off the bandages. you can barely hold back any pained noises, but you can’t help the wincing of your body.

satoru’s frown deepens, and with every move, your husband’s heart aches. it goes like that until the wound is finally unveiled.

you feel satoru observing the cut so intently that you look away. satoru curses everything that he can think of, and never has we wanted the ability to heal others more than right now.

he straightens his back, “that’s a deep cut, y’know.”

“I know…”

“you also realize that the wound could’ve hit your chest and inevitably heart, right?”

you huff, “listen, if you’re going to give me a lecture or keep making me feel bad about it then I will have you know—“

“you could’ve died.”

you notice the strain in his voice, so you turn to finally look eyes with him. he looks pained, so hurt, maybe even terrified at the fact that there was a chance that he could’ve lost you.

your expression immediately becomes that of sympathy, “but I didn’t, and dwelling on the fact that I might’ve died will only bother you for no reason,” you hold his hand, “I am here and alive, aren’t I?”

your husband sighs, resting his head on your right shoulder, “you’re hurting my poor little heart whenever you put yourself in danger like that.”

a giggle escapes your lips, and your hands naturally find their way in his hair, fingers gently carding through, “whatever shall we do.”

“if things went my way then you would just stay home looking all pretty like you always do,” he states, and you roll your eyes.

“well, they’re going my way tonight, so—“ the clock strikes twelve, “happy birthday, silly boy.”

his eyes widen and he pulls away to look you in the face. he blinks dumbly then looks at what’s in your hands: a cupcake with a candle.

a wide grin of unbridled joy appears on your husband’s face. his eyes shimmer in the moonlight as he laughs, “I really didn’t expect it this time!”

“you outdid yourself, pretty girl,” he hums, hand caressing your cheek.

“I still have a lot more things for you,” you beam with pride. satoru can’t contain himself anymore, and he pulls you into a loving embrace.

“I love you so much,” he murmurs beside your ear, pressing a light kiss to the side of your neck.

you pat his back, “I love you too, ‘toru,” you laugh, “but you’re pressing on my wound, and I think I am just going to cry and not because of overwhelming love.”

"It's so cute seeing a guy take care of girls like that." The older girl says, looking at Jungkook, and you freeze up for a second. It's something that you've noticed happening quite a lot with Jungkook at your side. Maybe it's your girly outfits sometimes looking more cute than sexy just because you feel like wearing something more comfortable. Maybe it's the height difference between you and Jungkook. Maybe it's your rather round face that makes people think you're younger than you are, especially when you don't dress revealing and confident.

He says, catching your attention to look up at him, giving him a good angle to kiss you- something that definitely catches you off guard- before you can feel his hands adjusting your bathing suit to cover your chest a bit better. "Okay?" He asks you, and you're not sure what he's asking-

But you nod.

And so he holds your hand the entire way from the beach to his car, to drive to a more secluded spot like he said. And he also holds your hands in the back of his car, where he shows you just how much he loves your body just the way that it is, no matter how much you dislike it.

And while it doesn't cure your insecurities, his love and care does help you, little by little.

Do you think Marius ever viewed Daniel's turning through the blood and noticed the similarities, how his own experience of turning Armand was replayed 500 years later by his child with another mortal boy who wanted to live in darkness forever?

Do you think he was proud of the care Armand took with Daniel in his final hours and moments? That he may have reflected on his own traumatic turning and been glad that he was at least able to prevent Armand, and by extension Daniel, from receiving the dark gift in the same way?

You made me emotional! 😭 When I first read this I just stared at it for a bit and thought 'damn I really love these three.' So thank you for that! I do think Marius must have seen Daniel's turning through the blood but also, I can imagine Daniel told him all about it, too. What we got in DM is beautiful but I'm sure there are plenty of details left out and I can see Daniel talking about it one night when he's feeling emotional about being a vampire, maybe not long after his recovery.

I think at lot about that elusive time after Daniel is healed from his madness, before PL, when Marius and Daniel's relationship is evolving. I don't know how close or distant Armand was to them at that time--clearly he was not with them, but what kind of contact they had and how regular it was is anyone's guess. But I imagine Daniel spent a lot of that time reflecting on being immortal and how that came to be, and everything that transpired, and I can see him telling the whole story of his turning to Marius one night while they're cuddled on the sofa or just having a quiet evening.

And I do think Marius must be proud of Armand for how he did Daniel's turning, the way he shaved him and prepped him for immortality so lovingly, the way he used his illusion of the garden, etc. (I also wonder if it's something Armand and Marius ever talked about it, either on Night Island, or later. Harder to see that coming up, although then again, when Marius sees Armand again for the first time in centuries, he's got this shiny new fledgling, so maybe they did discuss it.)

But I especially agree that he probably loves that despite what may have happened afterward, both Armand and Daniel were born into darkness in the most loving and gentle way, nothing like how Marius was taken against his will and tortured and forced into it. And his own turning of Pandora, too, was sort of foisted upon him and done hurriedly, without preparation or planning, so having been able to give Amadeo that ritualistic, loving turning was probably so important to him, even though it was done under the pressure of Amadeo being on the brink of death. And knowing Armand did similar for his only fledgling must warm his heart.

These three have so much love between them. There's a lot of trauma and mess passed down, too, but having such a pivotal thing be done to them out of love is just.. so important. No matter how much Armand and Marius may come at odds, or how often Armand and Daniel fight, they will always have that and know they were brought into immortality with love and adoration. And that makes me emotional AF. 🤧

This man is just so happy to have you by his side, he doesn’t care what you do so long as he gets to spend time with you.

See, what you do is meditate for 2 hours straight, praying on your muse to beam ideas and writing straight to your skull. Grab an acorn, a candle (your favorite scent), red twine, and a bottle of henny. And make a circle...lmfaooo jk jk.

TL;DR: my mind never shuts up 🫠 never turns off, never stops running, and that energy has to go somewhere, okay 😭

I wish I could take all the credit. I am the one writing it. But I have a close group of friends who let me vent out my ideas or give me ideas on how to improve. They listen to my nonsense, love yall so gd much 😗 @planetblaque @westside-rot @babybratzmaraj .

Other times, the ask is just so detailed, so rich, that it sparks some inspo and I get to writing. I am so in love with the creativity yall have on here. Completely blown away by these ideas you request!

It also helps that I went to film school and was taught how to think visually. You don't have to go to school for that, you just have to expand how you currently think about scenes.

Most times, as mentioned, my brain doesn't shut up. Even when I'm sleeping. There's this running commentary in my mind where I'm constantly turning over fics in my head. I think about scenes, I think about dialogue, I think about sex positions. Half the time, I'm scatterbrained irl because I'm too busy fucking in my head 🤣🤣

I write in my head, if that makes sense. I have these loose scenes in my head that I kind of play around with. I attack the scene from multiple angles trying to think of what sounds better.

Soo, when I sit down to write ive already done half the mental battle. I've already thought about the characters, the scenes, the motivations, the positions. It's just a matter of sitting down and writing it and it flows. I re-read my own writing all the time. But *way* after I've written it and moved on.

There's still moments where I have to pause and think about what comes next. Theres still times where I have to picture what tf is happening 🤣 or what's being said. Or what they're feeling at the moment.

Truth is, I just like to write. I've been writing since I was 11. It wasn't until I re-joined Tumblr at age 30 that I fell back in love with writing. I always loved it. But at a low point in my life, I felt hopeless that no one would ever want to read my writing. I thought I should've just quit altogether.

But by writing on here, I discovered that writing is for ME. If im having fun, then i know you will. I wont lie and say its not scary. I post overnight because I dont want the anxiety of seeing comments and reblogs trickle in 🤧 but the one rule I had for posting my writing, was to write for me. Write for the little girl who thought she couldnt. Write for the little weirdo who loves marvel and has anxiety and constantly feel like im being rejected. Thats who i write for. Thank God I didn't quit 😍🥹 I never would've met any of you. I never would've grown as a writer.

Being here with all of you, sharing my writing, seeing your reactions makes my fn day every day 😭 it's because of YOU that I felt confident enough to write a book.

I've been a huge fan of America Ferrera since "Real Women Have Curves," but Betty Suarez is my ultimate favorite of her roles. Like you, Betty is just so special to me. I'm always telling people to watch the show (many mutuals on Tumblr will attest to this 😂). I talk about the show so much you'd think it was still airing. I started a new job five months ago, and just last week, I was having lunch with one of my new colleagues, and she saw my Ugly Betty Pop figure on my desk (I commissioned it, and it's one of the best gifts I've ever given myself tbh). When she saw it, we spent half of our lunch discussing our favorite scenes. Ugly Betty is essentially my friendship litmus test lol.

Betty is my favorite fictional character of all time, no contest. But I also want to shout out the ensemble because WOW. The entire cast was incredible and hilarious. The show was a true dramedy; I was often in tears, either from laughter or an emotional storyline. Judith Light AND Vanessa Williams? ICONS. Michael Urie and Becki Newton? What a DYNAMIC DUO. Ana Ortiz and Mark Indelicato? PERFECTION. Eric Mabius? The TALENT. Daniel could have easily been such a vacuous character, but Eric gave him a depth that surprised me. Plus, his chemistry with America?? EPIC. I loved Betty and Daniel so much (shout out to the bridge scene in 1x13!).

I often wonder how unhinged I would have been if Tumblr had existed when the show was airing. My enthusiasm over your ask indicates that I would have been absolutely bonkers and loved every minute of it. 😆

If you're interested, this is my favorite Detty fanvid edit and my favorite Detty article. I loved their friendship through season 3 and didn't ship them romantically until about season 4. While watching the ATX reunion panel in 2016, I realized that Eric was also Team Detty, and I so wish we could have seen what happened next!

Hi. So this is random, I’ve never sent u an ask, but I had a dream about dacre two days ago???? ( ironic since I love billy and have never had a dream about him). 3. Who is more into taking showers/baths together? Who tries to make it relaxing and who tries to make it sexy time? i think belle is definitely more into it than adam. adam Enjoys it, don’t get me wrong, but he’s such an autistic loner boy (honorific) that i think he just enjoys having his alone time sometimes. which he does get most of the time, since belle is in general a way busier person than he is. it’s easier to find windows of time that he can take for himself. (that’s before they have kiddos, of course. it gets more challenging later on, lmao.) and for the second question, i’d say belle slightly more? but she also just likes to get in the bath with him to be with him. it’s not always a horny reason. sometimes they just sit in the bath and read their books in comfortable silence. (but belle, being an adhd queen, can definitely get more easily distracted by the handsome naked man across from her 😊) (not to say adam’s NEVER been distracted by the beautiful naked lady across from him, of course😏)

he also just feels so so guilty about how they met. like even though he’s grown so much and changed and very much apologized for who he was, he still can’t shake the feeling that she’s staying there out of pity or obligation. i have a really rough draft of a wip where they get into some heated argument about something else but the underlying truth is that adam just feels like everything negative that happens to her (in their royal court) is his fault. because he kept her here in the first place and now she’s stuck here. and she’s like ?????? because she could’ve left a million times by now!!!!! she had every out in the world, she had every excuse in the world to leave him, but she didn’t care about any of that! she loves him! and she CHOOSES to be with him! she CHOOSES to be his wife! every day!!!!! and she says something like “you need to forgive yourself for who you were. because if you don’t, it is going to break us.” and it’s so INTENSE because like. HE NEEDS TO FORGIVE HIMSELFFFF. or they’re just never gonna be able to move forward. and he works through it and does eventually, but he still always quietly basks in her magnificence and wonders how he got so lucky.

OUGH. i think they’re both really scared of losing the other. belle is more level-headed about it just because she’s more emotionally stable, lmao, but like. watching him die was Not something she very easily got over 🥲 she had nightmares and she still always clings to him so much when they sleep. she always rests her head on his chest just to listen to his heartbeat. it calms her so much. and OF COURSE adam is terrified of losing belle. his entire family has been so riddled with death, he almost expects he’ll lose her when they’re young. growing old with her is his greatest honor in life. and same goes for their kiddos too!! he worries SO much about his family because they’re just… truly the life he never thought he’d get to live. they’re his whole world 😭😭

and lastly for this one, who thinks they keep messing up !! agh. it’s both. but different ways. adam always thinks he’s messing up as a husband and a father. which is ironic because those are the jobs he is truly best at. (and belle says so in a toast for one of his birthdays. but i haven’t written anything beyond her little speech so. 🤫) but yeah i mean, it goes hand in hand. he never feels worthy enough for belle, so of course he thinks he falls short. but belle always reminds him that she’s happy, their children are happy, and they love being loved and protected by him.

i think — and gosh i’ll try not to tangent too much here, famous last words — i think that’s a big part of it too. the way his father abused him psychologically, was by telling him he was never man enough. too weak too quiet too scared. so adam, growing up, has just always had so many issues surrounding masculinity and what it means to be a man and all that. he’s never been very masculine but he never disliked being a boy/man either. he was who he was. but he had to mask so much of it, to the point of becoming just as ruthless and awful of a man as his father was. becoming a monster, even. so now that he’s all new, clean slate, he’s in this weird ambiguous state of being allowed to be himself but struggling to recall who “himself” is. and now he’s “husband” and now he’s “father” and he’s seen what those words have meant in the past but what do they mean now? what kind of husband does his wife need? what kind of father do his children need? and i don’t know. i think he just struggles with that. he doesn’t feel like he does a good job of being those roles, because maybe it’s not the way it typically is done. but he feels so protective of them all, so he lets that drive it, and he worries about them, and loves them, and cares for them when they’re sad and hurt. and that’s precisely who they need :”) he keeps all of them very grounded and secure <3

BELLE ON THE OTHER HAND!!!!! doesn’t super struggle being a wife or mama (no more than the average person, i mean) but she very much does always worry about her role as queen. she’s so Not Used To having ANY kind of power in her life, let alone RULING A COUNTRY, so it’s a very insane flip for her. but being who she is, she does jump right into it!! she dives head first into projects and changes and ideas and !!! she’s so full of ideas !!!! but the people of the court are snarky and rude and bitchy and it takes many of them a LONG time before they decide she’s “one of them”. she’s STILL an outsider. she’s STILL the weird one. no matter where she goes. she was too different for the villagers but she’s still too different for the aristocracy. so she struggles a lot with finding her place. and like, sure, she has the title, so Legally people DO respect her. but behind closed doors, within the court, gossip swirls and people are just awful. and she struggles to tell adam about it because she knows he’d take the blame for “bringing her into this life.” (which comes full circle back to the beginning of my answer to this question. how did i do that?? so powerful.)

anyway she DOES tell him things but it’s just always so hard. and she feels like such a failure sometimes. and they make her feel so crazy for having the ideas she has. and it just SUCKS. but adam is always so firmly in her corner, ALWAYS backing up her ideas when she presents them to councils and things (which is hard for her too, to accept his help. she’s just so stubbornly independent. they had a convo in my head the other day about adam offering to write to someone, to perhaps sway them in the right direction of belle’s idea, but she’s like no no i got it. and adam’s like “i know you do and /i/ know you’re capable of this, but a lot of these people don’t. and sometimes you need to speak their language in order to gain what you want.” and it’s just like UGJGJDKFJ!!!! it sucks how often they’ll disagree with her but then adam steps in and says he agrees/likes it and they’re like oh yeah nice totally!!! like. she may be queen but she is first and foremost a woman🫠.) anyway. belle struggling to be accepted/be herself is something i wanna grapple with more. and i do i think but. need to do it more. WHEW. okay, next question.

30. Who is embarrassed when they have to wear their glasses and who thinks they look super cute? HEHEHE that’s so cute. i have an old headcanon that adam gets reading glasses in his 40s (belle has like super powerful eyes and doesn’t need them til her 60s??? adam is very jealous) anyway adam Hates his glasses he thinks they look so STUPID. but then belle wraps her arms around him and calls him her sexy librarian and he rolls his eyes but also blushes SO MUCH >:3!!! she really does think he looks so good in them, which certainly boosts his confidence <3

Teen Titans rewatch episode 4

⭐️ When Beast Boy’s prank goes wrong and Starfire uses a Tamaranean term I appreciate how Cyborg and Raven adopt it into the conversation instead of glossing over a word they don’t know which acknowledges their friend. For a children’s show I think little details like that in dialogue are especially wonderful!!

⭐️ Robins smile while he uses a snapped bridge rope to fly through the air 👍

⭐️ Stars ice out of Beast Boy is the perfect way to deal with him lol. I also think having Beast Boys apology be more forced by having him assume Starfire is hurt also allows room for him to make similar mistakes again in later episodes.

⭐️ Beast Boy and Thunder dreamscape + Slade in disguise + rain sequence = one of the first instances of the villains influencing the style/art decisions. In episode one we have odd looking villains and the fighting happens in dark warehouse locations. Blackfire and The Hive dont do this but think of later episodes with Mad Mod, Mumbo, etc. In this episode our villains have obvious Japanese influence (as does much of the show) but it’s highlighted more heavily with Thunder, Lightning and Slades designs.

Episode 5

⭐️ “Just because I can’t have fun doesn’t mean y’all can’t” followed by meeting a young fan with a prosthetic hand/arm 👍 this is also a characteristic choice in terms of writing. Cyborg is black but his character themes in this show are often more parallel to that of the experience of a disabled person. Metaphors about race/ethnicity and storylines with lessons about cultural differences are most often given to Starfire, the alien. Still certain lines and scenes come to mind that allude to Cyborg’s experience with his race/ethnicity and highlight it. He’s the first to pick up on and understand Starfire’s discomfort with Val-Yor and while undercover as Stone his yearning for human community, etc.

⭐️ Mumbo

⭐️ Meeting the young fan again 🤧🤧 Cyborgs character is well documented in this episode. His insecurities and longing, his love and thankfulness for friends, his appreciation for simple human pleasures like food, playing games, listening to music, being outside and using his hands, perfectly tie to the resolution of the episode; while Cyborg has robotic limbs, his heart and mind are that of a human and his body helps make his personal human experience complete.

Episode 6

⭐️Starfire, Beast Boy, Cyborg, and now Raven! The most introverted of the group leaves Ravens character feeling more mysterious (aided by her cape and magical powers of course) During breakfast clean up Starfire says “there is much about her we are not meant to understand” and I find this estimation of Ravens character by her really nice. It’s not just that Raven is gothic and quiet, but Starfire is more well versed with unusual un-earthly creatures and perhaps recognizes this part of Raven.

⭐️ This mirror is maybe??? the first indication that Raven isn’t just a person who uses magic, but a magical being from another world. Of course Cyborg and Beast Boy are chosen to go into Ravens mind because 1. That’s the funniest combination but 2. Cyborg in episode 3 has a line about how Raven bottles up her emotions, and at breakfast his comment about leaving her alone is of good intentions but not as insightful as Robins “she’s our friend what else do we need to know” or Starfires “not meant to understand”. He’s more understanding than Beast Boy of course, but Cy would gain the most benefit from this venture vs Star or Robin development wise.

⭐️ “For the hundredth millionth time we forgive you!”

⭐️ “Now you’re a marine!?”

⭐️ This shits so crazy like wdym your dad is locked away inside your mind and also he’s a towering red demon. Also her becoming white Raven is so sick. I also like how the summation of her personality is represented as her usual blue. When Trigon transforms into a Raven and rejoins her, the white cloak goes away and our regular Raven is there. With her white cloak Raven is idealized, she is herself without the burden of her father. But he’s integral to her being, her past/family history deeply shapes who she is and that’s okay 👍

⭐️ Robin holding Starfire back is a good “bridge” moment for him. The whole teams exchange at the end is really sweet though

Second of all thank you so much for taking time out of your day to write this thoughtful reply, i can‘t explain how happy it made me and it made my whole week.

I‘m currently on a path of healing and understanding myself and especially my insecurities more, so i can see myself often in your characters. I feel seen and somewhat comforted by your characters and your writing. You really have a wonderful way of describing emotions and interpersonal relationships. As a reader i can tell you really take your time exploring and connecting with your characters. Therefore i would love it if you would tag me in further work surrounding these couples 🫶

Thank you for answers to my questions! I‘d like to take back my comment about Jisung being clueless. It didn‘t cross my mind that MC is just far too good at hiding her feelings. It makes sense though, being open with your feelings makes you vulnerable at the same time. She‘s probably protecting herself after the stuff she‘s been through. I‘m really really glad they end up getting their shit together and dating eventually 🥹 it probably took a lot of courage for both of them but it was worth it.

The Intro of Felix‘ backstory made me very curious. Something terrible must have happened for him to punch Chan. If you ever decide to write more of it, i‘d love to read it 💕 The MC in the Felix drabble is probably the MC i could relate to the most so far. I relate to her opinions about relationships and hookups. That‘s also the reason why i thought to myself: „If you love me, why don‘t you get your shit together? Isn‘t it worth it for someone you love?“ Also the pain of seeing how someone used to be or could be hits different. I really hope the best for them, they deserve it 🤧

Last but not least, Seungsung is a really underrated and funny duo in my opinion, so ofc that mess of a story came to my mind while reading lol

I'm definitely considering writing more for some of these couples it's an issue actually, I have so much that I want to write ;-; and I can tag you in it if you'd like to as well!

Also I wanted to tell you how much your comments on the parts of the series have meant, I've been meaning to shoot you a message to reply to them because I find the "comment" function on Tumblr not very practical to reply to people. This series has gotten a fair number of notes but not that many actual interactions (I mean like, people telling me what they think about stuff), and it means so much to me that you took the time to leave in depth comments ❤️

So I do not have a degree in psychology, but writing complex characters is definitely my favorite thing to do and probably what I'd consider to be my strength, quite flattered that you thought that though 😁 I did really enjoy writing their communication in this and I'm definitely considering writing more for these two!

Okay, so, here there is something that's an issue because I'm not always sure how to tag it lol. Basically, I often hesitate to use the tag "unreliable narrator" because people associate it with a certain type of narrators (often liars/narrators who hallucinate or stuff like that). All it would mean here is that this is written from the OC's point of view and she... doesn't always realize what's going on.

So, here, Jisung's aware of the fact that there are issues with the ex, but both OC and the ex have been very careful not to talk to him about it/to hide it in front of him so he doesn't know exactly what's going on. When there's the scene with his ex, his closeness with the OC is intended to provide comfort to her but also to himself (the break-up was messier than OC knows), so he's not trying to make the ex jealous! And actually, the reason why he takes the bottle is because he doesn't want OC to kiss someone else lol.

As for why it looks like he can't get his shit together, the issue is that, well, OC mentions that she's trying hard not to look desperate/too into him and she's not taking into account the fact that she's doing a little too good of a job. So Jisung's just not sure of whether or not she has feelings for him (it's clear that she's attracted to him but anything else? yeah that's anyone's guess, literally bc some of Jisung's friends think he's heading towards heartbreak with her at this point)

And yes, they would start dating not too long after this scene! That's actually what I'd written at first but it didn't have enough of a "jealousy" feel and had to be mostly rewritten ;-;

Yeahhh, things are messy in that one, but I can say that Felix has his reasons, or at least his justifications. And yes, they've kissed before, which was when the OC basically said that she couldn't do more because she knew it would end up in heartbreak for her. I can't get into the past too much in case I end up writing it, but I can say that if I wrote it, this would probably be either the summary or the intro:

"The first time you see Lee Felix, he's sitting next to Bang Chan — yes, the Bang Chan, captain of the swimming team who's taken the school to the nationals twice now —, dyed blonde hair looking like a halo, nose scrunched up as he laughs with that surprisingly deep laugh of his. You don't think he even registers your existence then; you're just dropping by to say hi to Jisung anyway, you're not taking it personally.

The last time you see Lee Felix, two people are having to physically drag him from Bang Chan, who's sitting on the floor, nose bleeding, and there are tears of angers in his eyes. He's expelled a few days later, drops off the face of the Earth, and everyone carefully avoids the subject, especially around Chan.

And then, well, you see him again, but years have passed, and he's not really the Felix you used to know anymore.”

The Han and Seungmin roommate thing was 100% an intentional reference to that lol, I was hoping people would clock it 😁 Yeah this was very sweet to write, the MC is different from other ones I write usually so it was a fun exercice too!
